Mash-Up Library Inc (branded as "Fight Fiction Video Library") is a BCCW-owned subsidiary consisting of the largest collection of fantasy wrestling videos and copyrights in the world. It is comprised not only of past and current works by WWE (formerly the World Wrestling Federation and World Wrestling Entertainment) by WWEfan, but works of now defunct professional wrestling promotions dating back to the 1940s. As of this video release, the library stands at over 400,000 hours of content including weekly television shows, pay-per-views, and recorded house shows. The collection represents a very significant portion of the visual history of fantasy wrestling in the United States, Japan and Canada. BCCW makes these classic holdings available through numerous home-video releases, Mash-Up Classics On Demand, MUW Vintage Collection and the Mash-Up Wrestling network (first of it's kind in the game).
It is with this vast intellectual property in place, historians and philosophers were able to compile this list. Rhino gores Gorgeous George
Gorgeous George desperately calls for back-up and flees - only to get GORED! GORED! GORED! Right through video wall of the entrance ramp! Huge cheer and "HOLY S***!" chants for that! This completes Rhino's run of Trilogy Gores on the countdown circuit. His GORE! against Chris Jericho made the "Best of Smackdown 10th anniversary countdown"... his GORE! that put Abyss through the wall was in TNA's Top 50 Moments countdown... and this very GORE! tonight against Gorgeous George in the BCCW arena jumpstarts the latest DVD/MP4/Blu-Ray disc endeavor: "The Top 50 Moments in Fantasy Wrestling". The definitive Mash-Up Wrestling collection. Enjoy the show!

LOD 6-Man title controversy
Since its inception, BCCW has been about superstar dream matches & epic collisions. The eyes of the fantasy wrestling world were upon BCCW once again in the rise to MBVIII (as everybody wanted to know who the Ultimate Warrior would pick as his mystery tag-team partners). But jealous eyes were watching as well, and when the LEGION OF DOOM arrived and won the title their first night – the world took notice. Then LOD disappeared the next night and were never spoken of again. What happened? Now the truth can be told. Rival promoters, seething with jealousy over the rapid ascension of BCCW and their accumulation of prime talent, enforced an unprecedented contract embargo. It mandated an LOD territorial trade, and angered 3 different promotions – all with a stake in the Legion of Doom brand. This was the beginning sign that the old guard was starting to crack. Old promoters who couldn't see where the business was going were creating a disgruntled underbelly of mavericks and risk-takers ready to take the fight-fiction game to new levels… whether the old guard was ready or not. The LOD-contract grab was a dirty political move that illustrated the rampant corruption of their regime, and why they were prime for a takeover…

Hogan vs Flair vs Stone Cold in WWE Dream Feud
The biggest stars, the brightest stage, the most recognized name in all of wrestling. Whether that name is Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Stone Cold Steve Austin or even "WWE" itself. Put all of them together in their prime and at the top of their game and you would get this - arguably the greatest dream match feud in fight-fiction history. As the fans say, action like this can only happen in Mash-Up Wrestling. WWE is an icon of the industry much like these 3 superstars, and nobody else in fantasy wrestling does Vince McMahon Jr's pride-and-joy any better.

Horror Hangs on Meat Hooks
A perfect example of the fantasy realism BCCW infuses in every product. Incidents like this gave rise to the term "Fight Fiction" to explain how something so fantastic could still be firmly rooted in reality. Case in point - at the height of the Black Army vs CZWO coastal warfare (a fantasy feud if there ever was one) - real life incidents were replicated to produce perhaps *THE* most brutal, shocking (and disgusting) moment in XPW Remixed history - the hanging of CZWO leader Zandig by MEAT HOOKS. If you've never knew now you do. Even more shocking, it didn't come from a demented nightmare - it came straight from the bowels of real life. The worst kind of horror you can face.

Cena vs Rikidozan vs Mascaras (1st BCCW PPV)
versus versus
A clip from the very first MSD-produced fantasy production (circa 2010). Originally slated to feature Cena vs Rikidozan vs El Santo... BCCW was horrified to learn El Santo had been drafted waaaay earlier than forecasted. So BCCW (aka MSD on a blunt break) went for the next big Mexican legend he could think of - Mil Mascaras. The fact that Mil Mascaras is still with the company to this day speaks to the longevity - and more importantly, LOYALTY - of BCCW and its management. We now take you to pre-recorded action...
From "Respect the Shooters (& Hookers)" (2010)
The beautiful strings of an exotic Oriental song break through the Broken City surround sound system. In an elaborate entrance - complete with costumed dancers and elephants, amongst other pageantry - the father of puroresu and Hero of the Far East, RIKIDOZAN makes his extravagant entrance. With his styled hair, slick ring jacket and Yakuza entourage he looks like a Japanese James Dean. Fireworks explode into the sky. The Land of the Rising Sun is well represented in the ring, and RIKIDOZAN does the ceremonial bow before settling in with his entourage and corner men beneath a giant Japanese flag, held in place by a phalanx of white-faced geisha girls in expensive kimonos.
"Sky High" by Jigsaw can mean only one thing - enter the superhero MIL MASCARAS!!! Red, white and green lasers and light show pay tribute to the colors of Mexico, and when he finally appears from behind the black curtain the ovation is deafening. He wears a sparkling cape, and his mask pops especially bright in HD. With his superhero soundtrack swelling in the background, MASCARAS makes his way to the ring amidst a rain of flashy pyrotechnics. Dozens of Mexican flags and Mascaras masks can be spotted in the audience. He flips into the ring and poses to show off his glistening brick house frame. He rips his mask off his face in one fell swoop and throws it into the crowd to huge cheers. He wears a secondary - equally exotic - mask beneath it. He settles into his corner where a Mexican flag has been draped over the top rope.
Finally, the opening strains of "My Time Is Now" initiates an absolute Pavlovian reaction from the Broken City audience - driving them into frenzied hysterics. Enter JOHN CENA! His ovation can be heard all the way in West Newbury (which is practically in New Hampshire). Orange and blue for the champ this time, Chain-Gang medallion, baseball hat and brand new white Nikes. Unlike the others, John Cena is alone. Aside from the gold belt he boldly wears, Cena is solo dolo. He enters the ring, brazenly stares at each of his opponents, before hoisting the belt high into the air to further feed the intensity of the BCCW audience. The Champ is here!!! Long dramatic pause as the ref removes the belt and shows it to each contender. Each man then gets their own separate ring announcement, climaxing with Cena's name to draw a massive pop.
Entourages and accouterments are cleared from the ring, each man receives their final instructions, and FINALLY... the wait is over! The visual of these 3 legends staring each other down center ring will live forever...

Bruno Sammartino HoF 2013
Another melding of contemporary events with the vintage preserves of the past. Ever the model of Golden Age mastery within the Fight Fiction circuit, BCCW has held under contract more active Hall of Famers on the YEAR of their induction than any other company in history. Gorgeous George (2010), Mil Mascaras (2012), Trish Stratus (2013), Sunny (2011), Wendi Richter (2010), Abdullah the Butcher (2012)... there was none bigger than the historic induction of BRUNO SAMMARTINO into the 2013 class. His induction would conclude with a huge win Dean Ambrose (2015) @ "Fallout Festival 3". Bruno Sammartino WWE HoF?? Just a few months ago that was more fantasy than anything we've ever written before! And now it's become history - and BCCW was right there the entire time, front & center. Salute.

WCW champion appears on rival TV
When Territories were once just invisible entities who only operated out of their own backyards, BCCW changed the game by promoting the first known "Crossover Appearances". Perhaps none of those appearances were bigger than the time WCW champion Austin Aries appeared on rival Television to answer an impromptu challenge. This would also foreshadow the revolutionary new brand WCW would become (when done properly) under the Mash-Up Wrestling banner. Speaking of revolutions, that brings us to #43 in our countdown tonight...

Revolution forms in WCW
What do you get when you mix some of the most combustible personalities in all of fantasy wrestling on the grandest stage possible? You get the Revolution in WCW - spearheaded by CM Punk and featuring such legendary rabble-rousers as Kevin FN Steen & Dolph Ziggler. Never before in fantasy wrestling has CM Punk been written to such perfection, and it can only happen with the talented writers & bookers under the Mash-Up Wrestling banner. There is one simple phrase for this pool of talent: BEST IN THE WORLD.

XPW Remixed Goes Online
Another historic business move that foreshadowed trends in the business. Based on the 2007 online extras of Wrestling Society X, an internet-only production was aired free to subscribers. Similar to the iPPVs, youtube and streaming features that would become prevalent in the industry within next few years. And BCCW did it 1st.

FINAL BATTLE
Not only do the superstars of Mash-Up Wrestling come from every corner of the fight-fiction globe, so too do the writers, bookers & promoters. Even long dormant or extinct brands are represented under the Mash-Up Wrestling umbrella. These collective credentials encompass every fantasy wrestling game ever played in some fashion. Some of these rare gems are like delicate flowers to be nurtured and cherished... not trampled beneath the steel-toe of an oppressive tyrant. Who would have thought a show called "Final Battle" would in fact be an opening salvo?

Primo Carnera KOs Big Show
The history of boxing has long been intertwined with wrestling - and in turn, fight-fiction as a whole. From Joe Louis to Floyd Mathweather, boxing has a long and rich tradition (of being just as corrupt & fixed as wrestling! But I digress...) BCCW put these two styles against each other in a bigger dream match than Randy Couture vs James Toney. This fight took place at the inaugural BiB event and helped jumpstart that show's tradition as an all-star gala affair. Taking place under boxing rules, the contest also circumvented traditional territory boundaries and allowed both greats (from different talent rosters) to fight under the Mash-Up Wrestling banner. It was a huge achievement at the time. It was also a seminal moment in fight-fiction and proved once and for all who has the biggest "WMD" in wrestling history...

JOHN CENA vs HULK HOGAN (BCCW Season 2)
It's one of the richest and most storied rivalries in fantasy wrestling history - Hulkamania Hogan vs the Cenation. One of the biggest chapters in their storied history dominated BCCW Season 2 and led to some of the highest-rated segments and biggest PPV buyrates of that era. The Cena vs Hogan match outperformed WMIII and WM18, while headlining the last BCCW card under original management. This is the feud that helped propel BCCW from regional organization to an international powerhouse, and leader in fantasy wrestling today.

The weed-whacker incident
Real life rudely interjects itself into our fantasy hemisphere again with shocking results. In what was already a brutal clash of styles, genres & generations (that could only be coined "Mash-Up Wrestling"), Bruno Sammartino (1975) found himself in the ring opposite Death Match legend "Sick" Nick Mondo (2001). What happened after the match would stain this moment in time and forever immortalize the gruesome and barbaric. The worse part? It's all true, proving once and for all that Mash-Up Wrestling is the realest izh in the game.

T.O.X.I.C.
"Tribe Of Xtreme Iz Created" is symbolic of the Xtreme subculture underlying our great sport. Within the fantasy realm, this genre encompasses everything from old school Memphis to FMW to ECW, CZW & XPW Remixed. T.O.X.I.C. has many satellite members scattered throughout the fantasy wrestling timeline. Anywhere the spirit of Xtreme may rise (Extreme Rising), whenever the fans chant "we want tables" or blood flows freely, just know one thing - the Tribe of Xtreme IZ Created... and it will never die. Only multiply. Because when you ride with T.O.X.I.C... well, you know the rest...

Shikat screws Danno
Before Montreal. Before Shane Douglas threw down the NWA belt and before Vince Russo ordered Jeff Jarrett to lay down for Hulk Hogan. Before "Bret screwed Bret" there was "Shikat screwed Danno". On March 2, 1936 (aka "XPW Remixed presents "Retribution") Danno O'Mahoney lost his Boston championship (aka BCCW HW title) to Dick Shikat under dubious circumstances. It was a classic double-cross, with the trained hooker Dick Shikat shooting on the unseasoned figurehead champion and taking his belt by force. Now, this notorious moment in wrestling history is captured forever under the "Mash-Up Wrestling" banner.

JBL 1st UCW champion
JBL is 6'6" nearly 300 lbs. Former WWE champion, grid-iron combatant and stock market expert. He's been an integral part of fantasy wrestling ever since his Dallas makeover in 2004. Among his many fantasy wrestling accomplishments, perhaps none stand taller than the night be became inaugural UCW champion by beating HBK & Undertaker. The fact JBL's triumph came on the heels of his partnership with TNA Tag Team champions (circa 2011) Beer Money Inc, only proves the potency of a true Mash-Up Wrestling combination.

Fallout Festival annual tradition
Another trend jumpstarted by BCCW (by biting real-life stuff). In honor of "WrestleMania Weekend" cards & Gathering of Juggalo festivals that feature successive nights of celebration - BCCW took it to the next level by promoting 2 cards back-to-back and broadcasting them on PPV. The results were epic, so much so it stole the shine from every other show that month and forced other copycat promoters to try and emulate the 2-night festival atmosphere (to no avail). Only BCCW can host the baddest rock concert/fight card/live festival on the planet.

Scott Hall invades the set
It always starts the same: "You know who I am... but you don't know... why... I'm here..." Whether it's the NWO, New DX, Insiders, Outsiders or something else entirely, these infamous words usually herald the start of something BIG. When Scott Hall first uttered this phrase it was the catalyst for a New World Order that promised to reverberate through the fantasy wrestling eons forever. Wherever he comes from, wherever they're going (and whoever "THEY" is) - this infamous moment lives on as a moving testament to this groundbreaking/4th Wall-shattering impact of Mash-Up Wrestling. The place where history comes alive to make this the realest izh in the game. You want a war? You're gonna get one...

Buddy Rogers vs Dusty Rhodes (Unification Match)
Back in the old Territory days (before the national cable overlay - digital platform - and BCCW expansion), there were small pockets of independently owned talent operating throughout the fantasy wrestling universe. One by one (sometimes dozens at a time) these companies trailed off into extinction, and their respective championships coagulated into a single lineage. Witness the "Retribution Triple Threat" (a template for an epic championship contest still to come...) Another title absorbed - another rival organization rocked to sleep - and another notch in the holster of the undisputed kings of fight fiction - helping make Mash-Up Wrestling the most powerful brand in the land.

Black Army defeats Triple B Enterprises
Light vs Dark. Good vs Evil. Honor vs Degradation. Such is the classic poetical ballet of every story told in our great medium. Never was that altruistic clash ever more apparent than when B&B&B ran into the Black Army on the XPW Remixed stage. The evil West Coast kingpin of sleaze and grime ROB BLACK returned to fantasy wrestling with nothing but the worst intentions. But the same piece of the fantasy wrestling rock he so craved was already being eyed by a business firm headed by Boston's own Paul Bowser. So the two management companies wagered their futures on the outcome - and fantasy wrestling itself would pay the bitter price. But true evil cannot co-exist, and ultimately the Black Army went up into flames (just like in real-life) when the Feds came to town. But this cataclysmic moment in time set the wheels in motion for the eventual rebirth of BCCW (and demise of XPW Remixed).

Best of the Best (Flyest in the Land)
A tip of the proverbial fantasy wrestling hat to such classic tournament institutions as KotR/CZW BoB/Cruiserweight Invitationals etc... the XPW Remixed "Best of the Best" tournament featuring the flyest junior heavyweight wrestlers in the land. While the sentiment (and talent) for a complete division wasn't there at the time, it became clear that time was coming - and fast. This same company would go on to host a 2nd tourney one year later, and the winner went on to become crowned champion of the new BCCW Flyweight Division - a seminal moment in fight fiction history.

Tournament of Death
Shake your head, wag your finger, block your eyes... but it exists. It's out there. The TOURNAMENT of DEATH. A blood-stained battlefield of shattered souls and broken bodies. Pain, mutilation, and yes... even death. Especially Death. Only one company was brazen, bold (and insane) enough to shine the brightest light possible on this macabre escapade: XPW Remixed. Combining the elements of the Hepatitis-filled 70s with the Japanese King of the Death Match and homegrown Ultraviolent elements, the inaugural Tournament of Death put XPW Remixed on the fantasy wrestling map for good (but for bad). Is there really any wonder why the company is dead and participants long gone? If XPW Remixed is literally the RAVENLOFT of fantasy wrestling - then the Tournament of Death is their home of the damned. BEWARE: NSFW (contains brutal content and graphic images - parental discretion iz strongly advised)...

Low-Ki revealed and riot ensues
If you know anything about fantasy wrestling, then you know Low-Ki was a perennial 1st round draft pick regardless of year (until the aborted WWE Kaval run). But prior to that, there was nobody better pound-for-pound in the fantasy wrestling universe. So it was a perfect fit to have Low-Ki become figurehead of the BCCW Flyweight division. But it's HOW he got there that put the twist in the cap. Mirroring his ROH turn to the streets, Low-Ki proverbially spit upon Gus Sonnenberg and had him jumped in the streets of LA. When the reveal was made that Low-Ki himself had orchestrated the hit, a literal riot ensued in the stands as the ROTTEN WILDAS were revealed. In that preceding piece, you just found 3 separate real-life incidents Mashed-Up into one giant new context. That my friends, is "fight-fiction" in a nutshell - and Mash-Up Wrestling as a whole.

OG LOD (in Georgia)/4H/Evo/back to the Commission, there is always been at least one uber-stable that all others aspire to be. But which stable came first? The chicken or the egg? One thing is indisputable, and that is the Original NATURE BOY Buddy Rogers. The template from which all else flows. Since the conception of Mash-Up Wrestling the OG Nature Boy has been a formidable piece - swaying entire federations - changing the law - and spearheading some of the biggest juggernaut conglomerates in the game. Run-D.M.C. live concert
The only law of Mash-Up Wrestling holds every performer to a historical context. Any performer ever touched by the fantasy wrestling game is eligible for play - as long as they perform their real-life role. This prohibits P-Diddy from capturing World championships (but unfortunately, not David Arquette). With that sole caveat in mind - XPW Remixed produced one of the most mind-bending mash-ups of fantasy wrestling. The rap-n-wrestling connection. On the anniversary of Jam Master Jay's murder, Run-D.M.C. appeared LIVE one more time on the grand stage to rock the house. Straight out of their WM5 prime, sprinkled with a lil DX-era swag, and combined with the one night a year all Hell literally breaks loose - it was an occasion truly befitting a king. The KINGS OF ROCK.

John Cena debuts in XPW Remixed
This countdown collection is the most ambitious undertaking ever, and only here can the truth finally be told. XPW Remixed is to fantasy wrestling what Ravenloft was to the realms of TSR. That is to say, literally Hell incarnate. Bastion of the damned, cursed to suffer eternally for their sins. Other rare few (the "heroes of light") are sent here for admonishment, for reckoning, perhaps for a wake-up call. In Cena's case, the negative sentiment of anti-Cenation haters drove him here (ala "weekend in Hell"). He arrived like a knight in shining armor, or a Patriot missile streaking from the sky. Superman is in the building! THE CHAMP IS HERE.

That all changed when Thesz went on to fight in Orville's honor against the man (Adam Pearce) mentored by Thesz' old trainer Ad Santel. It was a match made in fight-fiction heaven, and a seminal moment in Mash-Up Wrestling history.

Strangler Lewis steals AWA title
It was one of the most shocking and unpredictable (not to mention unauthorized) moments in fantasy wrestling history - the night Strangler Lewis took the AWA title. It was akin to VKM Jr purchasing WCW. The fate of this company was in his calloused hands, and he planned on staging the biggest AWA title match in history. Suffice to say the Boss of all Bosses pulled a huge coup by absorbing the rest of the old Territories - but he then immediately superseded that move with an unprecedented PPV simulcast. The proof is in the pudding - there's a reason Strangler Lewis was voted GM of the Year by his peers... This was a historic & game-changing moment.

Pipe Bombs for Real
When tensions were at their highest, the guns came out blazing. Read between the lines and you can see for yourself. This was for all the fans clamoring for MSD to write his own dialogue. I warned y'all you might not like what I had to say...
From BCCW TV Episode #7 (Run This Town) CLICK HERE!!:
LOU THESZ (as penned by MSD): There’s certain criteria that must be filled to replace a man of my caliber. Now that I’ve risen to the top, alongside my trusted lieutenant with whom I share my deepest thoughts, troubles, concerns and IMs - I have been assured my spot in Territory Wars. 1st Unified WORLD champion in history (claiming an unparalleled championship lineage that absorbed some of the biggest titles in this game). Some willingly (Polland ROH) - some not (chachins AWA) Longest reigning champion in this world. My resume of defeated foes reads like a who’s who of fantasy wrestling. Multiple award winner, including BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD. I brought down the gates of Hell (XPW Remixed) and built a city behind it (the new NWA). There is nobody alive on Gods green earth that has written the history I have. Nor will there be anymore to come. This brings us back to MBVIII. And John Cena.
John! John, John, John. You don’t mind if I call you John, do you? It’s not like you deserve to be called “Mister Cena”. What with your gallivanting about, throwing tantrums at the slightest provocation, riding around here like you’re the knight in shining white armor. Like you were somehow the guy that *invented* fantasy wrestling. You didn’t do, that John. I did. Do you know what other social circles use the word “john” in casual parlance? Prostitution rings. That’s what you are, “John”. A sucker. You can speak of your codes, of your rules, of your “hustle, loyalty, respect” crap. But it’s all an illusion, John. This. This is greatness. When I ascended to my position as WORLD champion, I accepted all that came with it. I know the target I now bear is one of my own making - and I accept that. I *embrace* that. I knew there would be those hoping to throw rocks at the throne. I just never thought they would come straight from the top, from a man I once respected so much.
We were once Tag Team champions of the world together. The yin and yang, the law & the chaos, the tradition & the rebellion. There was an uneasy, tenuous alliance - despite a few flare-ups along the way. I respected your opinion, even if I didn’t agree with it and was grateful for the space you gave me to blaze my own trail. But now, those trails have come to a permanent crossroads. What happened at the Grand Conjunction, John… you made me do it. With your incessant politicking, your rampant attempts at favoritism - pandering to an audience that doesn’t even respect you.. (small - but vocal - chant of “CENA SUCKS!” begins to arise) .. You made me do it. I knew the path ahead could only be forged by solidification, and that is why I chose to partner with the only other man in the Territory Wars who embodies the same kind of history, legacy and tradition that I do. So now, as you attempt to chop the head off the only man to bring *life* to this static world of mediocrity - I have assured my legacy will continue. No matter what you do, John. No matter who you bring with you to the dance - be it biased, crooked officials or airhead magazine models - you cannot kill me. You cannot stop what has already begun. Soon, you too will be just a blip on the Territory Wars screen - Gone. Forgotten. And I’m going to be the man to make that happen. At MBVIII, John - our paths will cross again. This time for the last time. For when Alexxis & I defeat you and Trish Stratus, it will be the final nail in the coffin of your championship chase. Understand this, John… I RUN THIS TOWN.
John Cena's poignant answer comes from Fight Night (ELIMINATED!) These were the bars of death that launched a Mash-Up Wrestling revolution (although nobody knew it at the time)
JOHN CENA (as penned by MSD):
Lou Thesz, you made it personal - a little off the deep ends.
So I’ll take it to you publicly - you ain’t gotta check your PMz/
You try to put me out of business, so in my eyes you’re the enemy.
Jealous of my roster, you suffer from size envy/
You call yourself the champ but you won’t give me a shot.
Cuz the whole game is fixed like Chicago Black Sox/
These cats don’t even know what goes on behind the scenes.
Where you’re really insecure like a teenage drag-queen/
You say you make the rules, well Lou I call your bluff.
And watch you come onstage chest puffed acting tough/
You wanna bury my name - send Cenation into mourning
Well I’m out here tonight to send my own warning/
If you’re a fantasy wrestling god who never takes the day off -
I guess that makes me Kratos swinging Blades of Chaos/
I’ll probably get fined, and warned again but what the heck.
I’m going for your jugular so you best protect your neck/

Rocky Marciano comes to BCCW
Undefeated Boxing champion and trouble-shooting special referee/ringside enforcer. Much like many of the crossover boxing appearances before (and after) him, except for one minor caveat - Brockton is home to BCCW, and Rocky Marciano *IS* Brockton MA. So it was inevitable that he be received like a conquering hero upon his return. Both in the fantasy realm of fight-fiction, and in real life. On the eve of the 60th Anniversary of his World Title win, Rocky Marciano returned home to Brockton before his adoring fans. This moment was commemorated in fantasy wrestling fashion, and with a custom-made youtube video. Rocky Marciano lives forever in BCCW, and is returning to the ring one more time as guest enforcer of the main event Iron Man match @ BiB3!!! ROCKY! ROCKY! ROCKY!!

Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling
O Canada. From Eddie Quinn to Emile Duprée the Mash-Up Wrestling connections run deep. After overtaking the Great White North with the Canadian Bash these roots became entrenched. From this wealth of new talent came AGPW, flowing clearer than spring water through the Yukon. Continuing in the Mash-Up Wrestling vein, AGPW is a bounty of historical nuances & sociological pathos. Nobody does Canada better, bigger or more important than one of their very own. True patriot love in all thy sons command. It is safe to say that without AGPW, Mash-Up Wrestling would not exist. But why would anyone be willing to take that risk? Why would any company willingly jeopardize their livelihood in untamed new wilderness? On a roll of the dice and a dance with death? Because GOD KEEP OUR LAND GLORIOUS AND FREE. O Canada, you own our hearts. And Mash-Up Wrestling forever stands on guard for thee.

Thesz vs Cena @ Grand Conjunction
Continuing the theme of "XPW Remixed = Ravenloft", Grand Conjunction means the end. The literal splitting of Hell at it seams, spilling its denizens out into an unsuspecting prime material plane. That's exactly what happened on the night XPW Remixed staged "Grand Conjunction" - the final chapter in their sordid saga. But it's only fitting to mention, "Grand Conjunction" was also the name of the Final BCCW PPV under original management (before XPW Remixed was born). So things came full circle at the XPW version, when Old School finally met New School in a clash for ultimate supremacy. Why we didn't expect was the twist of the villains dagger at the end, subjecting us all to a reign of unforeseen horrors. When Lou Thesz turned heel and reunited with Strangler Lewis, it sparked a chain-reaction of events that lead to the ultimate 4th Wall-breaking moment: Lou Thesz unifying the title with another organization under the Territory umbrella (CLICK HERE!!). The "no unified World champion" rule had just been broken - something unthinkable and completely taboo at the time. And only Mash-Up Wrestling was bold enough to bring you that new flavor. Enjoy the variety. But beware the Mists that corrupt all they caress...

Mildred Burke earns Redemption
"Mildred Burke, a woman with legitimate wrestling skills [1], became the first women's world champion of the worked era. Burke began her career wrestling men in carnival "AT shows" [2]. She quickly developed both solid catch wrestling skills and a remarkably muscular physique. Burke achieved a level of success and proficiency that prevented promoters from establishing any viable alternative champion [3]. Her dominance of woman's wrestling stemmed in part from Burke's relentless travel schedule. Burke's greatest opponent proved to be state athletic commissions [4]. Concern over the impropriety of the often openly sexual content of woman's matches, coupled with sexist attitudes.... led many states to ban women's matches..."
** RINGSIDE (by Scott M. Beekman) **
** Bonus Director Cut Commentary (and footnote explanations) **
[1] Thus her Mash-Up Wrestling partnership with Rowdy Ronda Rousey.
[2] Chronicled through her rough beginning in XPW Remixed. In the Mash-Up Wrestling universe, Lizzy Borden (XPW Original) was the equivelant of her Billy Wolfe (CLICK HERE FOR MILDRED'S DEBUT!!)
[3] This includes MBurke squashing MsChif @ Return to the Scene of the Crime to prove her inter-promotional dominance (CLICK HERE FOR THE MATCH!!!)
[4] MBurke also ran a brothel (excuse me, "stable") of women wrestlers that did everything from wrestle topless to wrestling in mud. Or wrestling topless in the mud - hence her inclusion in XPW Remixed (land of the damned). MBurke lived a hard life, even losing her daughter to an in-ring accident resulting in death. So when her story is retold in Mash-Up Wrestling under the XPW Remixed/Ravenloft banner, she was striving for redemption just like any Hero of Light or Shades of Gray character forced to serve penance within its misty borders. Ultimately if she did or not, is up to the reader to decide. But one thing is certain - Mildred Burke lives forever in the Mash-Up Wrestling pantheon.

Prelims LIVE & FREE
Another in a long line of business moves that put Mash-Up Wrestling firmly on the forefront of this games evolution. Instead of regressing back to the caveman era, we stream forward to the next high-tech plateau. Hyping PPV products with a made-for-TV palette of fight-fiction action. FOR FREE. Think WWF Sunday Night Heat or UFC Prelims LIVE on FX. This is Mash-Up Wrestling giving back to the universe that helped make it the greatest. Another forward-thinking moment, another oft-duplicated trend set and another initiative spearheaded (plus it helps spread out the glut of an overbooked card into smaller, easier to digest parcels). On the first outing we jumped from online (think Facebook fights streaming live) - to LIVE Cable TV - and finished with the PPV portion. That's 3 different mediums of comprehension when most heads can't even master one (is it PPV Wars? Not-Really-Wars? Or Local Cable Access Wars?)

Thesz vs Luger
You're talking to a group of men sired by the likes of the Original Gold Dust Trio, Jack Pfefer, Roy Shire and others of that ilk... of course we have a knack for deception and manipulation. It's our forte. Part of our bag of tricks used to drive the marks into a ticket-buying frenzy. One of those great psychological ploys culminated in this main-event megamatch: Lou Thesz (1955) vs Lex Luger (1985). Originally, Lex Luger won his version of a regional title - and then QUIT THE COMPANY. The plan was for him to move to a bigger organization (in one of those feel-good "give me Luger or I blackball your little company" political moments) and take the title with him. Only one voice stood up and loudly poo-pooed the notion (me), until decision-makers were forced to reconsider the transaction. So what happened? Lex Luger (a WWE-contracted talent) wound up *returning* to the region he left (NWA) and losing the "championship he never lost" to a Mash-Up Wrestling contracted fighter (Lou Thesz). An unprecedented moment in fantasy wrestling (think Tazz beating Mike Awesome for the ECW title after signing with WWF) that added the final layer of credibility needed for our WORLD championship of fantasy-wrestling to become truly "UNDISPUTED".

BBB Enterprises buys out XPW Remixed
There are communists who believe in military oppression. Or freedom fighters who believe in equality. There is no in-between. Some prefer to build Berlin walls, disassociate everybody, rule with an iron-fist & discourage creative freedoms. These people abide by the George Wallace-mode of Territory thinking ("I say segregation now, segregation tomorrow, segregation forever!!!"). Then, there are others (like BBB Enterprises) who fight for the exact opposite. Like any story of light vs dark (hero vs villain) - the bad guys initially got the upper hand (see #28 on this List). But the heroes never quit, and weathered an unbelievable storm of personal & business tragedy before triumphing in the end. Paul Bowser & Logan Boggs had the last laugh, when they purchased XPW Remixed lock-stock-and-barrel (think WWE purchasing WCW) right out from beneath the old regime. It is a testament to their solidarity and creativity, and the beginning of the BCCW rebirth...

1st BCCW TV Episode
With the air-time, talent & titles purchased under the merger (that remember - also included dozens of other extinct Territories & title lineages - see above Ranking #5), Broken City Championship Wrestling was officially relaunched. It broke ratings records upon its inaugural episode and hasn't looked back since. Even a change in channels and broadcast partners (Mash-Up Wrestling 4 life, boyee) couldn't stop this fight-fiction locomotive from becoming *THE* definitive show in fantasy wrestling history. This is WWF/UWF/WCW/Mid-South/NWA/ECW/Stampede all rolled into one - thus creating something wholly original. In the bible of fantasy wrestling, BCCW is Genesis 1. Everything else is under the Mash-Up Wrestling umbrella or doesn't exist at all. Like Jay-Z would say; Poof - vamoose - sunnovabitch!

Thesz vs Rogers vs Bruno (ANYR)
Every great writer knows the story starts at the end. In fantasy wrestling-lore, the "end" as we know it began at "(Another) New Years Revolution" - when 3 respective "World" champions agreed to unify their titles. Each championship was carefully constructed over time to produce the maximum effect. These 3 championships (and in turn, these 3 timeless champions) literally represented every Wrestling title known to man. The Kings of All-School clashing in Mash-Up Wrestling nirvana. This was the night the WORLD championship of fantasy wrestling was born, and only one man could carry the heaviest crown. That's why Lou Thesz was voted BEST WRESTLER IN THE WORLD 2012 by his foes, friends & fans alike.
