Cut to ringside announce team:
Gordon Solie & Matt Striker
Another innovation and historical retrospective from the greatest wrestling company in Mash-Up Wrestling, XPW Remixed. Presenting "THE BEST of the BEST". A special, invitation-only 12 man tourney featuring some of the BEST - and unheralded - Jr Heavyweights in all of professional wrestling. These men are on the COME UP and XPW Remixed has just the showcase for their unique talents! Back in the late 90s/early 2000s when CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling) was on the rise on the East Coast, it was lampooned (much like XPW Remixed) for rampant brutality, bloodbaths and ultra violence. So this tournament was designed to earn purist credibility, establish themselves beyond blood-n-guts, and showcase some of the greatest wrestlers of the future right now!!! This is XPW Remixed tributes to all the Indy tournament shows, from ECWA's "Super 8" to the ongoing CZW "BoB" series. ENJOY!
XPW Remixed presents...
"BEST of the BEST 1"
There will be four 3-way dances tonight featuring all 12 of the wrestlers. The 4 single winners from each match will advance to the semi-finals next week on XPW TV in two one-on-one contests. Then - at the XPW Remixed FREE December supershow "GENOCIDE" - the two finalists will clash for the right to be called "BEST of the BEST"!!!! Let's get right to ringside for this very special introduction...
** CUT TO RING **

INTRODUCTION
XPW Remixed President (East Coast) ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS
Show opening in-ring intro from XPW Remixed President (East Coast) ED "STRANGLER" LEWIS. Welcomes everybody to the show, and introduces the new XPW Remixed innovation "BEST of the BEST"!!! Proving ground to 12 of the nicest, underrated, slept-on or up-and-coming Junior Heavyweights in the entire Mash-Up Wrestling universe!!! Tonight we begin our tournament with four 3-way dances in Triple Threat style. Now... as is standard operating procedure of tournaments like this along the Indy circuit - we welcome our 12 brave men who are risking it all to prove they are "BEST of the BEST"!!! Cue event theme song ( "Best in Show" by Copywrite feat. Planet Asia & Tage Future) as all 12 of the participants roll single-file to the ring. They each wear matching "BEST of the BEST" T-shirts in a show of solidarity. Ladies and gentleman, your participants in XPW Remixed's "BEST of the BEST 1!!!"
Hakushi & Tommaso Ciampa (representing "The Olympia")
Masahiko Kimura (representing the Shooters Club)
Thumbtack Jack
Danny Havoc
B-Boy (representing the Cali Cripplers)
Sami Callihan
"Sick" Nick Mondo
Ruckus (XPW Remixed tag team champion BLKOut)
Sabian (XPW Remixed tag team champion BLKOut)
Human Tornado (making his XPW Remixed & Mash-Up Wrestling DEBUT)
HOMICIDE!!! (Street superstar representing the WCW Cruiserweight division!)
All participants are civil, pose for pictures with the trophy and Ed Lewis, and receive commemorative Gold Medals for their participation. Ladies & gentleman, your "BEST of the BEST 1" class! With the audience applauding their appreciating, the participants file backstage where Ed "Strangler" Lewis remains alone in the ring to further address the crowd. State of XPW Remixed address, with an emphasis on the upcoming FREE Super show scheduled for the end of December - "GENOCIDE". Mister Lewis discusses the Triple Threat rules of the first round a bit further (first to a finish wins), but is no sooner done mentioning the phrase "Triple Threat"... when we get a very quick, disturbing video splice on the Titan Tron wall...

** VIDEO CUT **
Paramedics and XPW Security are gathered in a hurried, frenzied circle in a dark hallway. At their feet, the crumpled carcass of Thumbtack Jack. His "BEST of the BEST" shirt torn and Ceremonial gold medal missing. Just as quick the video cuts to static... and "Gotta Have It" by Jay-Z & Kanye West (off the "Watch the Throne" album) blasts through the arena soundsystem, confounding Ed "Strangler" Lewis while antagonizing the audience. Enter Shane Douglas, Eddie Gilbert, Chris Candido & Sunny... THE TRIPLE THREAT!!!
Shane Douglas has a live mic, and just watch the fireworks. He verbally dresses Ed Lewis and the "old boys network" that's constantly holding the young guys back. The Triple Threat are in the ring across from Lewis now. With Thumbtack Jack "conveniently" unable to compete due to a surprise sneak attack (Chris Candido untucks the "Best of the Best" gold metal around his neck and does jumping jacks) - The Triple Threat nominates CHRIS CANDIDO to take his place!
WCW Superstar HOMICIDE
Suddenly "To Live & Die in LAX" by Dale Oliver cuts them off! Enter WCW cruiserweight sensation HOMICIDE!!! He's greeted by huge CHEERS! He cuts a Spanglish promo on the Triple Threat, while finishing strong with a heelish pro-WCW rant (they're the best, Homicide gets all the money, etc) But THAT boo-inducing statement only draws out XPW Remixed's own "SICK" NICK MONDO!!! He receives a heroes ovation from the crowd!!!
XPW Remixed fan favorite "SICK" NICK MONDO
This-n-that, forth and back, suddenly it seems like somebody is about to be smacked! We've got our first Tournament match RIGHT NOW!!!
"SICK" NICK MONDO vs HOMICIDE vs CHRIS CANDIDO (w/ Sunny)
vs vs
Spectacular start to the show, with the now-quickly-established-ULTRA heel HOMICIDE garnering insane heat - the Big Poppa Pump-light version of Chris Candido providing the color- and the brooding "Sick" Nick Mondo repping for XPW fans everywhere with his daredevil, hard-hitting maneuvers. Mondo gets the first segment, taking it to both opponents simultaneously. That branches into a brief double-team set with Homicide & Candido taking Mondo out, before targeting each other. Sunny gets involved - gets her skirt hiked up and rump spanked by Homicide - and Mondo makes the comeback to reverse Candido's "Blonde Bomb Shell" top rope powerbomb into his patented "Assault Driver" for the finish! "Sick" Nick Mondo - homegrown XPW Remixed favorite - advances to the Semi-Finals!!! A hard-earned victory with all 3 men looking good in the process. But this was a STATEMENT match for Mondo tonight.
Winner: "SICK" NICK MONDO.

B-BOY vs DANNY HAVOC vs SAMI CALLIHAN
vs vs
This match is almost a complete 180 from the first affair, with a grinding, submission-based mat style being more prevalent here. The men exchange complicated and cheer-inducing submission attempts, sometimes getting intertwined in each others moves (like Sami trapping Havoc in his "Stretch Muffler" only to have B-Boy snatch Sami in a Dragon Sleeper attempt at the same time). Danny Havoc further emerges from his Death Match persona with a solid work rate showing, absorbing most of the punishment here. B-Boy - the now expertly trained hooker/shooter - utilizes stiff strikes to counteract Callihan's fury, but Sami is like a young Pampero Firpo tonight. Just a raging bull. B-Boy crashes and burns with a missed tope outside the ring, and Havoc winds up trapped in Sami's "Stretch Muffler" once and for all for the tap.
Winner (by submission): SAMI CALLIHAN

RUCKUS vs MASAHIKO KIMURA vs HUMAN TORNADO (debut match!!!)
vs vs
XPW Remixed tag champ RUCKUS gets the full-blown ring entrance ("The Jake the Snake of Getting baked... The AJ Styles of Black-and-Milds... the Bruce Lee of OOOWEEE... muthaphuckkin RUCKUS!!!), Masahiko Kimura gets a more understated (but still very vocal entrance) and the Human Tornado makes his debut. Solie & Striker tout him as a fresh, new and exciting talent addition to the XPW Remixed roster. Once again, all three men get a chance to show their stuff, exchanging text book wrestling holds, strikes and counters. Until the high-flying duality of Ruckus & Human Tornado combine to briefly eject Kimura from the ring. Then this happens...
Human Tornado shows personality, Ruckus plays the role of straight man to a T, and in the end Kimura ends the frivolous portion of the match with surgical precision. He winds up countering one of Human Tornado's crowd pleasing dance excursions into a deadly serious Kimura armlock for the tap. Kimura earns the victory, Ruckus saves face, and Human Tornado receives a standing ovation from the audience upon leaving the ring for good. He soaks up the cheers, and while his face is wrought with disappointment, he knows he's just getting started here in XPW Remixed...
Winner (by submission): MASAHIKO KIMURA

Main Event
HAKUSHI vs TOMMASO CIAMPA vs SABIAN
vs vs
Tonight's main event brings together a plethora of different storyline threads. First, all three of them are some of the very best at what they do. Plus they're all timeline clashes - with Hakushi coming straight out of WWF circa 1995... Sabian representing the mid 2000s of CZW... and Tommaso Ciampa coming straight out of the future. Another interesting angle - both Ciampa and Hakushi are training partners at "The Olympia" fight camp. Their head coach (and reigning Boston champion) "The Solid Man" William Muldoon is here tonight, but does not corner either student. Instead, he assumes guest commentary position alongside Striker & Solie putting over both his students and honoring their opponent as well. Finally, this match foreshadows the next big MAIN EVENT on XPW TV... Olympia versus BLKOut for the tag team titles! That's right, Hakushi & Sabian will be competing for the championship belts next week on XPW TV, so that extra level of sizzle has been added to this match. Great show-ending match that seamlessly melds all of the styles from the previous match into a swirling dervish of physical artistry. Everybody shines, slight tension is exhibited between Ciampa & Hakushi, and Sabian is the belligerent counterpoint to their well-schooled professionalism (he stopped midway through the bout to stuff his face between a fat chicks cleavage at ringside). In the end Hakushi takes Sabian out with the springboard, only to be caught from behind with a "Project Ciampa" from Tommaso! (similar to Carlito's backstabber)! Tommaso Ciampa earns the underdog victory! Sabian and Hakushi exchange glares over the belts, before Olympia training partners Ciampa and Hakushi do the same. But Muldoon is in the ring to raise both men's arms, and the crowd salutes. The Olympia represents once more.
Winner: TOMMASO CIAMPA
Postmatch, another mysterious visit from the black-cloaked woman. who arrives at ringside to "gift" Muldoon with a small wooden box filled with dead, black rose leaves. She leaves as ominously and silently as she came, eyeing Muldoon the entire time (who remains quizzical over the nature of these "gifts").
The gift and the curse.
