__________________________________________________________________________
This week, the focus is on one thing and one thing only: XPW's Baptized in Blood PPV. This is the second year in a row for the flagship PPV. Last year's show was one for the ages. We witnessed a two out of three falls match that saw Buddy Rogers win the XPW title from Bruno Sammartino, a nasty Boxing match that had Big Show getting knocked out by Primo Canera, one amazing Tournament of Death that witnessed The Messiah get the prized trophy, and so much more. If last year's was any indication of how things will go this year, get set for a wild ride this weekend. Here we go!
The 2nd Annual Tournament of Death
The second annual Tournament of Death commences at this show. Even though it's every man for himself, every person involved has an agenda. Nearly half the participants include the newly formed CZWO: the leader, John Zandig, and his co-horts, consisting of last year's winner The Messiah, and Sami Callahan. On the other side, Atsushi Onita has somehow regained control of the brainwashed Jun Kasai and is also involved in the tourney as well. We also have the always resilent Thumbtack Jack; the technician expert Drake Younger; and the favorite to win: "Sick" Nick Mondo. However, there is a mystery participant who is going to be a major SURPRISE. I really wonder who will get the chance to show off their skills. Anyway, here is my prediction for how the tournament will go, minus the stipulations (please forgive my table; it's not perfect):
Sick Nick Mondo
My theory is simple: I'm assuming that New Jack will be the mystery guy based on his vow to show up with The Sandman at the PPV. However, Sandman will turn on New Jack, giving Messiah the win. John Zandig and Sami Callahan won't face off, but rather Zandig will cheat the system a little and and he'll have Sami compete against Nick Mondo. Then, Mondo faces Zandig in the finals and achieves the impossible, wrestling in four matches and winning it all ala Randy Savage at WM IV. It should be a fun tournament to watch.
Winner: "Sick" Nick Mondo
Ad Santel vs. The Miz: Sportz vs. Entertainment
This match was the last one made for the show on XPW Online earlier this week, but this one has some history behind it. Ad Santel, the leader of the Cali Cripplers, has been determined to run Mildred Burke out of the company since she eliminated him in the WarGames match at Scene of the Crime last month. This also includes a backstage assault from Santel and company on Burke on the last XPW TV. He even was scheduled to face her on Online this week, but backed out and had Tamina step in instead. Then, The Miz would make his presence known and kept Santel at bay while Burke and Tamina put on a solid outing. In the end, a mis-timed sneak attack on Burke and Miz backfired when Burke nailed Santel, who then fell into a Skull Crushing Finale from Miz. Shortly after, Santel made the challenge and Miz accepted.
Now, I'm not clear on the rules of this particular contest, or if it's just a special name with nothing attached. However, I don't think it's going to matter. You have two pure athletes facing off one on one, or at least that's what we hope. Santel could have his Cripplers lurking around during the match. If he's smart, he'll keep it one on one. Now, one would think that The Miz has fallen on hard times since losing the TV title at Night of Champions and suffering a heartbreaking loss to Team Douglas last month at Scene of the Crime, but I would think this is his chance to shine tonight. Santel would have the edge in technical skills, but Miz has the charisma. In the end, the better man will win, and I think The Miz will find a way to be the better man.
Winner: The Miz
XPW Women's Championship: Wendy Richter vs. Awesome Kong
Here's a match that I'm looking forward to as our first title match of the night. The Women's title is on the line as Wendy Richter defends against The Awesome Kong. Richter has been on a roll as of late since winning the title at the Fallout Festival. She has defended the title with major success, including two major victories over Natalya Neidhart (who I really thought could have taken the title both times) at Night of Champions and Scene of the Crime. On the other side of the coin is Awesome Kong, who made her surprise debut at Scene of the Crime and destroyed both Richter and Natalya following their match, making her intentions known that she wants the title. Kong would then make her wrestling debut on the last XPW Online earlier this week against former champ Alexxis Neveah and absolutely dominated. Then Richter, disguised as Raisha Saeed, appeared and accepted the challenge of Kong at BIB this weekend.
Let me make this simple: Wendy Richter has proven that she is a great champion. However, the problem is that Awesome Kong isn't familiar to her, and the way she got dominated by her at Scene of the Crime makes me wonder if this is it for her. However, Kong is unproven in these waters. Sure, she beat up Alexxis, but Richter has a little more experience and has a solid chance of beating Kong, but unfortunately, I'm siding with the monster on this one. I just think Kong is too powerful.
Winner: Awesome Kong (new XPW Women's Champion)
FOCUS Presents: The Gorgeous George Open Challenge!
I'm going to be quick about this since we have no idea who will answer the challenge and XPW owner MSD has been mum about the subject, along with the brass in charge as well. Gorgeous George made an impact in his XPW debut at Night of Champions by defeating The Miz in a major upset and winning the TV title. Since then, he has been a credible champion, taking on all comers and amazingly coming out on top every time. The challenge was made on the last XPW Online. With the beautiful GG and the brilliant and talented (really?) lawyer David Otunga at his side, one wonders if whoever answers the Gorgeous George challenge will really stand a chance. Then again, the champion never offered to put the title on the line, so who knows? I really don't think I can make a prediction here, so let me just say this: I hope whoever answers the challenge absolutely embarrasses the shit out of Georgie Boy.
The Diamond Dynasty vs. The New Age Outlaws ($100,000 is up for grabs and the losing team must disband)
We come to our first tag team match of the night that pits one of the greatest tag team combinations of all time against a solid up and coming team that has been on a mission to prove they are the top team in XPW. The Dynasty began their tag team run on XPW TV after the Fallout Festival and made quick work of PG-13. They were then one of the two mystery teams in the big Fatal Four Way match at Night of Champions for the titles, with the other being their opponents, the New Age Outlaws. Road Dogg and Billy Gunn made their XPW debut at NOC and neither them nor their opponents won the titles. In fact, the two teams got another shot at last month's Scene of the Crime, but to no avail. Both teams have now been trading shots since then. The Outlaws had a crazy parody of Missy Hyatt. The next week, Rogers put up $25,000 and challenged them, but both teams turned it into a Pier 6 brawl, and there was no ending (but Road Dogg did steal the $25k). On the last XPW TV during an edition of Missy's Manor, Buddy Rogers offered to quadruple the $25,000 and put up $100,000 on the line for BIB this weekend. The Outlaws accepted later, but raised the stakes even more: the losing team must disband for good. Wow.
Well, we all know and love the D O Double G and the B A Double D A Double S. One of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history, let alone WWF history, to see these two guys split up would suck since they haven't been around long. On the other side, I personally think that Alex Riley and Matt Morgan have been a solid team for some time now and probably would be tag champs if it wasn't for the Outlaws. Eh, who am I kidding? I would want to see those two in singles action anyway. I see the Outlaws winning, getting the $100,000, and the Dynasty splitting up for good.
Winner: The New Age Outlaws
The REAL Kings EXPLODE!!!!!!: Phil "Gunner" Shatter vs. Austin Idol: Last Man Standing
This is a match that I have been waiting for for a LONG time now, and I'm glad that it's happening here. Gunner and Idol has been one of the greatest tag team combinations in XPW history. From their debut at XPW TV edition #20, to winning the services of Jessica Darlin from the former Switchblade Conspiracy, to winning the XPW tag team titles at Genocide last year, the Kings have been on a fucking roll. Then, things began to come to a crashing halt. At the Fallout Festival, the Kings would lose the titles to the Fabulous Kangaroos thanks to Jessica Darlin spraying Gunner in the face with hairspray. Then, another miscommunication at the Night of Champions occurs as Jessica nails Gunner again accidentally, this time with a chair, costing them the titles. The Kings would keep their cool and issue an open challenge at Scene of the Crime, which was answered by the debuting Motor City Machine Guns. The Kings lost once again and frustrations continued to grow. About a week later, the former champs came out together and aired out their grievances. Everything seems to go ok, but just like the Rockers back in early 1992, the Kings would have a major falling out when Gunner attacked Idol and brutally incapacitated him, finishing him off with a DDT on the concrete floor. Gunner then spat on Jessica Darlin. Gunner then explains his actions on the following Online, feeling it was time to move on and be on his own. On the last TV episode, Gunner once again made fun of Jessica Darlin but then Austin Idol returned and challenged Gunner for BIB. The match was on, but it doesn't end there. On the next Online, Idol explained his side of the story as he prepares for the match. Then Gunner attacks him from behind and even had the gall to piledrive Jessica to the mat. Then he ups the ante: Last Man Standing. Idol accepts, and we're on.
I am so pumped for this match. Absolutely fucking pumped. Now, don't get me wrong. I loved these guys as a team, and they've had the longest reign as the XPW tag champs, so they HAD to have been that fucking good. But this is the moment a lot of people have been waiting to see. This is the match people have been waiting for. Last Man Standing is just the icing on the cake. These two are going to beat the living shit out of each other. Expect blood. Expect flesh flying. Expect gore oozing out of both men's bodies. Expect everything and the kitchen sink. When it comes to who will win, I truly think Gunner has the advantage here. He's been gold on the mic, showing off his pure hatred for Idol, and even has the upper hand right now. It would take nothing short of a miraculous performance for Idol (who is a great wrestler in his own right) to pull off a win here. One wonders how Jessica Darlin will factor into the match, if she even shows up, following that piledriver she took earlier this week. Nevertheless, I'm going with Gunner.
Winner: Phil "Gunner" Shatter
XPW Tag Team Championship: The Fabulous Kangaroos vs. The Motor City Machine Guns
Speaking of tag teams, we come to our Tag Team title match, featuring the reigning champions, The Fabulous Kangaroos, taking on the newcomers to XPW and challengers, The Motor City Machine Guns. The FabKangs, as they are so notoriously dubbed, have been on a magnificent role since being brought in to XPW by their manager, "Wild" Red Berry. They shocked the world by defeating the REAL Kings for the tag titles on their first try at the Fallout Festival. They have successfully and surprisingly defended the titles against the absolute BEST XPW had to offer. First, it was a Fatal Four Way match that saw them BEAT the likes of the former champs, the New Age Outlaws, and the Diamond Dynasty. The next month at Scene of the Crime, they did it AGAIN, defeating DD and the Outlaws to retain the titles. Now comes the challengers, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin. The Guns made their surprise debut and answered the open challenge at Scene of the Crime from the REAL Kings and defeated them in quick fashion, which was a major shock to the fans. Then about a week later, Berry's other team, the NEW Twin Towers, consisting of Bam Bam Bigelow and Bull Ramos, were scheduled to face their old nemesis, Ken Patera and The Grand Wizard, but an unknown assailant attacked them and knocked them out (more on this later on). Anyway, the Towers were left without an opponent, but the late Carl Beane told them they would have opponents, who turned out to be the Guns. Sabin and Shelley absolutely dominated the Towers (ironic, isn't it?) and picked up the win. The Guns then made a challenge for the tag titles at BIB, and Beane agreed and made the match. The war began with the Guns berating the FabKangs on the next Online, and then the champions returned the favor earlier this week by attacking the challengers after their match, which leads us to the show.
I look at this match and wonder what the outcome will lead to. On one hand, if the FabKangs retain, they will solidify themselves as being one of the best tag teams in XPW history. On the other hand, if the Guns win, they will be the first to end the undefeated streak that the FabKangs currently hold and will be the champs. It's tough to choose here because the FabKangs have been on a major run and who's to say the new kids on the block can stop them? However, the Guns show how good they can be by taking out not only the Towers, but the former tag champs the REAL Kings (who are a better team than the FabKangs) in quick fashion. I'm going to go out on a limb here and pull for the Guns to become the new tag team champions.
Winner: The Motor City Machine Guns (new XPW Tag Team Champions)
Match #7: Samoa Joe vs. Bruno Sammartino: Dog Collar Match
Here we go, folks. This best of seven series comes to a close. Samoa Joe takes on Bruno Sammartino in a Dog Collar Match. The series is tied at 3 all. Samoa Joe has been on a tear. He made his debut at Rapture and laid waste to Tony Rumble. Since then, he's been on a major run, destroying opponent after opponent in every type of match: handicap, triple threat, fatal four way. However, things would change in a major way: five months ago, Joe kept screaming for competition. On the Valentine's Day edition of XPW TV, Bruno Sammartino was attacked backstage. We found out that the assaliant was none other than Joe. Why? Joe felt there was a conspiracy against him, and that Bruno led the attack. Their first encounter took place at My Bloody Valentine II, in which Bruno won an extremely hard fought contest, ending Joe's undefeated streak. Bruno would then get a shot at Lou Thesz for the XPW title at the Fallout Festival thanks to a lightning quick pinfall on Joe in a #1 contender's match. However, Joe would return the favor at the Festival and ultimately it would cost Bruno the title. The two men would then agreed to a rematch at the Night of Champions, in which Joe would make Bruno pass out to the Kokina clutch (the same thing Joe did to Bruno the night after MBV II). The next XPW TV, Joe wanted to have a rubber match. Bruno accepted, but upped the ante more and made it a Best of Seven. Match #3 took place on the next TV, with Joe winning once again with the same move, but this time, it was assisted by a steel chair. Match #4 would occur at Scene of the Crime, which was a Submission match. Bruno would even the series with a nasty looking version of the Triangle choke. Match #5 was two weeks later: a First Blood match with Joe snagging the victory thanks to a dropkick on a chair protecting Bruno's face. Match #6 would be Falls Count Anywhere and Bruno would even the series with a spinebuster through a wall. Joe would gain revenge by kicking Bruno down the stairs and earlier this week, the final match would be a Dog Collar Match at BIB. The war ends this weekend.
Well, it comes down to our final contest in the Best of Seven series. Both Bruno and Joe have had some awesome affairs, and it seems only right to end things with a Dog Collar Match. At first, I questioned the stipulation choice, as I felt maybe an Ironman Match would make more sense, but that would overshadow the main event, so I understood. Nevertheless, I expect nothing but awesomeness in the final match, but I also expect this to happen: the winner of this match will become the #1 contender for the XPW title. Whoever wins the final match should be the #1 contender for Thesz or Sheamus. The way it'll work is that if Bruno wins, he'll add more to his legacy, but if Joe wins, he'll have made a major statement and endured enough to DESERVE an XPW title shot. And I believe Samoa Joe will come out on top in this one. I have the uttermost respect for Bruno Sammartino, but this is Joe's time. This is his chance to shine, and when it's all said and done, he will.
Winner: Samoa Joe (wins series 4-3)
Damien Steele vs. William Muldoon: Winner is XPW Commissioner
Here's one of two, possibly three, matches that could change the face of XPW as we know it: Damien Steele vs. William Muldoon with Steele's Commissioner's job on the line. Let's take a quick look at Steele's history at Commissioner: while the lad has made some great matches and decisions over the past several months, he's also been....drunk with power, I'll say. He made it a life goal....that's right, a LIFE GOAL.....to run Nick Gage out of XPW, and he would do so at the Fallout Festival by defeating Gage in a Loser Leaves XPW match, and it also won Steele the King of the Death Match title, all thanks to Lord Humongous' surprise debut. Speaking of him, we all thought it was The Man, but it wasn't. Ruckus of BlkOut fame would bring out a different one that turned out to be Sid, but I digress. Steele would then proceed to take out BlkOut piece by piece (even recently, Sabian and Tarver attacked Ruckus out of pure jealously, but that's another story for another day). We move to two weeks ago, when the Triple B trio was running XPW for a day (more on them later). One of the Bs, Paul Bowser, had a run-in with Steele and was against his power-drunkeness and decided to make a match for BIB with Steele's job on the line. His opponent? Someone with knowledge, integrity, and experience (quote from Bowser). None other than William Muldoon, the leader of the Olympia.
I truly think that the outcome of this match will determine who wins the big 10 man elimination tag match for control of XPW, which I will get to momentarily. This will be an intriguing contest to watch, nevertheless. Damien Steele isn't known for his technical prowess, but more for his cunning tactics. The technical skills is definitely in William Muldoon's favor. He is a former Boston Champion, and a worthy contender for the XPW world title in his own right. In any event, as I said before, the winner of this could pretty much determine the winner of the 10 man tag. I actually believe that justice will prevail and we will see a brand new commish at the end of the night. Besides, I truly believe that Steele is getting stale as the law and order, and a new commish would be the boost XPW needs right now.
Winner: William Muldoon (new XPW Commissioner)
Triple B (Mil Mascaras, Human Tornado, French Angel, Christian, and SURPRISE)
vs.
The Black Army (SNUFF, Jon Moxley, Hakushi Kuro, Kilo, & Jeff Jarrett)
*Winner gets control of XPW*
The second match that could potentially change the course of XPW. The 10 man elimination tag match featurning the law firm Bowser, Beane, and Boggs, consisting of Mil Mascaras, French Angel, Human Tornado, TNA champion Christian and a mystery partner. They will oppose The Black Army team of Rob Black's, comprised of SNUFF, Jon Moxley, Hakushi Kuro, Kilo, and Jeff Jarrett. This whole situation began the night after Scene of the Crime. Both Ed Lewis and Toots Mondt have been searching for a third partner to take over the other 1/3rd of the company, previously held by TGW. They made the announcement that a trio of businessmen have agreed to purchase the remaining shares. The trio were known at Triple B Enterprises, consisting of current Boston Red Sox PA announcer Carl Beane, former Boston wrestling promoter Paul Bowser, and current TNA owner Logan Boggs (him again? Christ). The announcement explained all the Boggs sightings we've been seeing for months now. During the show, it appeared that Toots Mondt found a counteroffer from a second group, so the contract signing was postponed until the situation was sorted out. As a show of good faith, though, Triple B was allowed to run XPW for one night, and they did a great job. That same night, though, we found out that the group with the counteroffer was being "advised" by former foe Jack Pfeifer, who got his group the chance to run XPW as well, and challenged Triple B to a 10 man tag at BIB with the winner getting control. It was accepted, and Triple B added both Mil Mascaras and Human Tornado to their group. Unfortunately, tragedy stuck the trio as Carl Beane passed away in a car accident the day after the show. The next show, chaos reigned. Jack Pfeifer revealed one of his mystery benefactors to be the returning Kevin Sullivan, who hasn't been seen in several months. He then discussed the return of the Black Army, and then revealed the savior of the Army: Rob Black, who then announced a new member of the Black Army: Jon Moxley. The rumors were making the rounds that Bowser and Boggs were going to withdraw their offer, but later in the show, Rob Black and company denounced them and threatened them. The now duo responded and said they would be there. The match is on, but not before chaos ensued with new members of the teams announced. Vic Grimes made his return to XPW after being shunned months prior, but under a new persona: Kilo. Triple B responded with French Angel, and then a brawl ensued. Bowser and Boggs escaped, but then JEFF JARRETT of all people came into play and nailed Boggs with a guitar. Jarrett announced his alliegiance with the Army and vowed victory after Boggs' alleged involvement in getting Jarrett out of TNA. Earlier this week, Bowser and Boggs announced that TNA Champion Christian would be on their team for the show and that leaves one member for Triple B to show up at the PPV.
As I said, this match could potentially change the face of XPW. On one hand, you have law and order with Bowser and Boggs and their team. On the other hand, it's the Black Army. Darkness could reign supreme and the company would be in for some rough times. I will say this: whoever wins will have the chance to change the power structure in the company. I'm going to say that Rob Black may get his chance to run a company. I'm just not seeing Triple B coming out on top. It's nothing about Triple B at all, but unless their final member is a MAJOR name, The Black Army has the talent to surpass them. I'm intrigued by this matchup and I'm really pulling for either side, quite frankly, but as I said earlier, with my pick of William Muldoon as Commish, he's the only saving grace in a Black Army-owned XPW.
Winner: The Black Army (Rob Black gets control of XPW)
On a side note, I have a strange feeling that Christian will go the route of Shawn Michaels at the Survivor Series in 03 and have to eliminate three men to win it all, but in the end, Jon Moxley ala Randy Orton gets the win thanks to Jarrett or maybe even Boggs himself (hmm?). That's my feeling.
Winner Take All: Champion vs. Champion: XPW Unofficial Champion Shane Douglas vs. Boston Champion John Cena
Another title match, but this time, it's a title unification match. The Boston title, held by John Cena, will merge with Shane Douglas' "unofficial" XPW title. This began a long time ago when Shane Douglas was fresh off losing a match to Sheamus at Another New Year's Revolution in January that split up his former faction Triple Threat, along with Chris Candido and Eddie Gilbert. Both men skipped town shortly after, but not before Shane ended up destroying Gilbert in a Dog Collar match. Then, shortly after, Douglas united with Lizzy Borden and revealed an old XPW championship belt, claimed he never officially lost the title and issued an open challenge to anyone and the loser would leave XPW for good. Candido answered the call and lost. Since then, Shane has been on a tireless rant in regards to getting back what was rightfully his. Enter John Cena, who made a major impact/debut at Another New Year's Revolution by replacing William Muldoon and defeating Jinder Mahal for the Boston title. Since then, Cena has had a friendly yet heated battle with Mil Mascaras (which also included both men trading the title on a couple occasions), as well as being a major supporter of the Olympia and competing with William Muldoon on more than one occasion as well. Then, soon after, Sami Callahan took the chance to cash in his MITB on Cena and actually won the title. However, XPW President Ed Lewis held up the title after rejecting both Sami's win and Cena's "loss" and ordered the two to face off in an I Quit Match at Scene of the Crime, which Cena won. The week after the PPV, Shane Douglas was pissed that he wasn't getting the credit he deserved and planned on making people notice him. What did he do? He attacked Cena in the main event that night, blasting him in the head with his XPW title. Douglas made a major statement: he wants Cena's Boston title. Douglas even went as far as to look for Cena in Boston unsuccessfully. The next week, Cena answered Douglas and said to bring it. Rob Black, the authority figure for the night, then appeared and announced the unification match after recognizing both men for their recent accomplishments. He then put both men in a tag team match later that night, which ended in chaos and both men brawling around the arena, which leads us to this weekend.
This was one possible match that could play a part in the potential change of XPW. Why? It's simple. Shane Douglas has an overwhelming desire to get back what was rightfully his: the XPW title, and he can kinda sorta do that with a win over John Cena. On the other hand, a Cena victory could potentially drive Douglas out of XPW or at the very least prove that Cena is the better champion. In any event, I do expect Lizzy Borden to be at ringside for this encounter and could possibly be a factor as well. In the end, I'm going with the man who has worked his ass off since being in XPW.
Winner: Shane Douglas (new Boston/XPW Champion)
XPW Championship: Lou Thesz vs. Sheamus: Two out of Three Falls (Mr. Perfect is the guest referee)
Now we come to the final match of the night. Lou Thesz defends the XPW Championship against Sheamus in a Two out of Three Falls match. The champion, Lou Thesz, was recently the Midwest Champion and defeated both Bruno Sammartino and Buddy Rogers to unify their XPW titles and his own and became the undisputed XPW champion at Another New Year's Revolution. Thesz then fended off both Rogers and Bruno in back to back months, including one helluva Ironman Match with Bruno. The next month, Thesz would successfully defend the title once again over Ezekiel Jackson at Night of Champions, and then was able to keep Jinder Mahal at bay last month at the Scene of the Crime. You can definitely say Lou Thesz has been one of the most respected and credible champions in XPW history. On the other side of the coin is Sheamus. Fresh off a ROH run, Sheamus came to XPW the week before Genocide and challenged the late great Danno O'Mahoney to a match to prove who was the better Irishman. Danno agree, and the match commenced with Sheamus coming out on top. Sheamus then entered into a brief feud with Shane Douglas and his Triple Threat, which culminated in a match where if Sheamus lost, he must join the group. He won, which resulted in the TT disbanding, thanks to new friend Bam Bam Bigelow. Those two would join forces and defeat Shad G and Chris Candido at MBV II in a Tables Match. Bam Bam, however, would turn on Sheamus after acquiring Red Berry as his manager, a move Sheamus didn't like. Sheamus would gain revenge at the Fallout Festival with a win over the Bammer. Sheamus would then be unsuccessful in his MITB attempt at Night of Champions and alongside Miz in the WarGames match at Scene of the Crime. We now come to this match. The tension began during a six man tag a couple weeks ago and both men would have a heated argument but threw no punches. It was revealed the following week that Sheamus won an dark battle royal immediately following XPW TV to become the #1 contender to the title at BIB. Lou Thesz welcomed the challenge, but made some threats. The two men would hold a press conference and after it ended, Ed Lewis made two announcements: both men would compete in a tag match later that night, but both men tore up the conference before Lewis got to #2. In the tag match, both men worked together for a bit before coming to blows and nailing their finishing moves on each other. Lewis came out and stopped the brawling as he announced a special guest referee for the match: Mr. Perfect. On loan from the AWA (or at least we think), Perfect vowed both here and earlier this week that he will call it down the middle and be the "Perfect" referee.
It comes down to this. Thesz/Sheamus for the title in a Two out of Three Falls match with Mr. Perfect as the special referee. This match will be fun to watch for sure. Both men held in check the first go around, but the second was too much as frustrations boiled over and both men came to blows. I sense that Perfect could play a major role in this match, as we really don't know his true intentions. Better yet, we don't even know what possessed Lewis to call in his "perfect" favor. Could Lewis want Perfect to throw the match? Maybe Lewis felt Perfect would be the only man to control these two. All we know is that Lou Thesz or Sheamus will walk out with the XPW title. My feeling is that Perfect is here for a damn good reason, and it might have to do with Thesz. My feeling is that Perfect will cost Thesz the title ala Luger at WM X and Sheamus will become the new XPW champion. Then we could possibly get to see a Perfect/Thesz feud, which would be so fucking awesome. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
Winner: Sheamus (new XPW Champion)
So I'm calling for Nick Mondo to realize his dream and all the titles to change hands (highly unlikely to occur, though, but I don't give a damn), along with a new commissioner and the Black Army's resurrection to come true. Hopefully, I'll do well, but we'll see. Nevertheless, this is ONE show you DO NOT want to miss. Order it now!
We'll see you next week.

Welcome to After The Bell, everyone.
Sick Nick Mondo Jun Kasai | Sick Nick Mondo
The Messiah New Jack | The Messiah | Sick Nick Mondo |
Sick Nick Mondo | ||||
Sick Nick Mondo | ||||
Sami Callahan Thumbtack Jack | Sami Callahan | Sami Callahan | John Zandig
John Zandig Drake Younger | John Zandig | John Zandig |
