I can't begin to describe how grateful I am to see this. It's not enough times I say it, but the highlight reel is my favorite feature in Mash-Up Wrestling. I love looking back over the timeline and with hindsight, seeing how they all fit together. Bluspell stand up! You and I have discussed this privately but I will share it here, the Highlight Reel is our platinum-coated time capsule. Thank you for taking my linking suggestions and using that more. It's great to have a virtual library of historical reference points we can click on and relive at a moments notice. As usual I wonder at your choices some weeks and chuckle at others. But I cannot deny that your work has been a major part of this Mash-Up project. I applaud you and hope you can get through the summer through the winter!
peace,
MSD

MSD isn't the only one who appreciates the effort that you put into this. I really enjoy the weekly Mash-Up Highlights. And I don't mind that they are months behind current events. I kind of like that because reading it is like a trip through memory lane, so to speak. It allows me to read it over and say to myself, "oh yeah, that what an excellent match/angle/idea." I always like reading the Highlights and I like seeing AGPW get recognition for some of the stuff it does. Thank you for everything you do, Karl!

To echo what they say. I have to say that it's great to see you back man. I hope that everything gets better for you. I love reading these posts and we appreciate all that you do with it. I have to say that it's very hard to keep up with all of that and everything that comes with it. I hope to read more in the future and it's great to see you back.

7/20/14 - 7/26/14 "Mash up Wrestling ROCKS"MATCH of the WEEK: Vader defeats Daniel Bryan for the AWA Championship From the main event of AWA WrestleRock on PPV (click here)(We take you to the match in progress) PLAY of the WEEK: John Cena represents the USA & BCCW (WWE) (First, Cena successfully defends his HW title against Ivan Koloff in a Flag Match on BCCW TV Episode #48 (Liberty or Death). Then he shows up on WWE TV to fan the flames of Summerslam and The Big Event)From WWE All-Star Wrestling 7/25/14 (click here)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Gus Sonnenberg (new BCCW TV champion) From BCCW TV Episode #48: Liberty or Death (click here)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Stone Cold & CM Punk… new WCW Tag Team champions!?! From WCW Monday Nitro (click here)(The heat continues to build between World champion Steve Austin and CM Punk, when the two are able to defeat the New Age Outlaws for the WCW tag straps! Punk may have taken both belts with him after flipping Austin the bird, but best believe the World title is the one that really matters in this equation)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Beer Money (AWA) (Beer Money defeat the legendary Miracle Violence Connection to win their AWA Tag Team titles at WrestleRock. An incredible win from the 2014 Crockett Cup victors over arguably the greatest Tag Team in Mash up wrestling history) WOMAN of the WEEK: Trish Stratus (AGPW) (May have cleanly defeated Moolah this week, if not for Chyna’s interference. Still, the Undisputed Woman’s champion of Mash up wrestling remains tough to beat and one of the most premier talents in the entire Mash up universe) From AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night 7/26/14 (click here)

7/27/14 - 8/2/14 (Canadian Turf War)WWE The Big Event (click here)versus AGPW Takeover in Toronto (click here)MATCH of the WEEK: Stone Cold defeats John Cena (WWE The Big Event) (The big news this week is the battle for Toronto, with WWE hosting “The Big Event” on 7/27/14 from the CNE Center, and AGPW countering with “Takeover in Toronto” on 8/2/14 from the Air Canada Centre. Both cards were stocked with dream matches and big moments galore, and both cards rapidly sold out hours after tickets went on sale. The so-called Canada turf wars have resulted in a boon for fantasy wresting viewership, both here and abroad. Both cards also flexed killer main events, with Superstar Graham defeating Christian to become the new AGPW International champion. But Austin/Cena gets the nod for Match of the Week, because while Austin would viciously attack Cena with a chair and take him out of action for a month, at least he did it alone. Superstar Graham required the use of his manager, Californication stable and a masked wrestler to get the job done. That alone gives WWE the slight edge in the battle for “Match of the Week”) PLAY of the WEEK: AWA Commissioner Jack Tunney gets down to business AWA Wed Night Warriors Week 28 (click here)(Following up on the AWA Title controversies (Tag Team and World titles) at “WrestleRock” and prepping for an AWA appearance in Toronto at WWE’s “The Big Event”, Commissioner Tunney lays down the law and begins the hype for something called “The Million $ Match”. Sources would later reveal that much of that so-called “Million $” would be cheated and embezzled away, but we’re getting ahead of ourselves. For now, Commissioner Jack Tunny is a voice of parity and reason. But not for long…) WRESTLER of the WEEK: Superstar Billy Graham (AGPW) (New International Heavyweight Champion, and the centerpiece of Cali fornication’s “Takeover” of Toronto)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: A Savage Induction (AGPW) (Queen Sherri pitches Elizabeth into the steel ring steps (!!!) as Macho King crushes Y2J with a flying elbow smash at AGPW “Takeover in Toronto”. It was the culmination of a wild and wooly affair that had fans around the world chanting “THIS IS AWESOME!”) TAG TEAM of the WEEK: *3-way TIE* Bad Influence (AGPW) (Daniels & Kazarian became the first multi-time champions (2x) in company history when they defeated Piper & Burke for the AGPW Tag titles at “Takeover in Toronto”)*and* Miracle Violence Connection (AWA) (Despite suffering an injury a week earlier, Williams & Gordy were able to defeat the WWE Road Warriors in crossover competition at “The Big Event”, securing their reputation as one of the greatest tag teams in game history)*and* Uso’s (BCCW) (Came out on top in a 3-way battle of franchise champions at “The Big Event” when they defeated WWE Champion Demolition and AWA champion Beer Money! U-so crazy!)WOMAN of the WEEK: Trish Stratus (AGPW… and WWE?) (Wherever the Undisputed Woman’s champion seems to go, controversy follows. First, Trish (or a Trish lookalike, as argued by AGPW) showed up in Toronto for WWE to wrestle in (and lose) a tag team match in which Trish was dominated by her partner Bull Nakano after the match. Then Trish reappeared on AGPW Takeover in Toronto to successfully defend her title against Chyna in a potential “Match of the Year” candidate. This was the week Trish went from “Top Shelf” to “The Big Event”, all in her own backyard of Toronto Canada. The Queen is home)

8/3/14 - 8/9/14 (“From the Bottom to the Top”)MATCH of the WEEK: Austin & Punk vs. New Age Outlaws (WCW) (Less of a technical masterpiece, and more of a drama, but what a story it was! WCW Tag Team champion Stone Cold Steve Austin was lured into a diabolical attack by his “partner” CM Punk and Paul Heyman! Now we have new WCW Tag Team champions, and one pissed-off Rattlesnake looking for a traitorous punk!)WCW Monday Nitro -- click here --PLAY of the WEEK: Suspensions Abound (AGPW, WWE & BCCW) (In AGPW, Macho King & Sherri were suspended indefinitely due to their heinous actions against Elizabeth & Jericho from “Takeover in Toronto”. Then in shocking news, Alberto Del Rio was released from the WWE for some kind of backstage incident that leaked over into the Mash up wrestling universe as well, affecting his standing in BCCW. It’s good to know that in the crazy, lawless land of fantasy wrestling there can still be some justice!)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Gus Sonnenberg (BCCW) (The BCCW TV champion makes history by unifying his title with the X-Division championship held by Kenny King. But now Bobby Lashley is waiting in the wings…)BCCW TV Episode #49 (Tent City) -- click here --RATINGS POP of the WEEK: 1st Highlight Light reel episode (AGPW) (An amazing segment that featured practically the entire AGPW main event scene. It peaked with the arrival of Christian and then again for the reveal of Renee Dupree as the masked man. The eyes of fantasy wrestling are upon Californication now, so it’s up to them to maintain that interest)AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night 8/9/14 -- click here --TAG TEAM of the WEEK: ** Tie ** Road Warriors (WWE) (They rebounded strong from “The Big Event” with a win over Duane Gill & Barry O on All-Star Wrestling before targeting Demolition on Championship Wrestling from Allentown PA)** and ** Miracle Violence Connection (AWA) (Crushed the Midnight Express and continued to ride the wave of momentum from their huge win at “The Big Event”)AWA Wednesday Night Warriors Week 29 -- click here --

8/10/14 - 8/16/14 (“Crossovers, Clashes and Killings on the Road to Gold“)MATCH of the WEEK: Vader © defeats Verne Gagne (AWA Championship Match) (A highly anticipated dream match played out in AWA when monster champion Vader retained his title against the legend Verne Gagne)AWA Wednesday Night Warriors Week 30 -- click here -- PLAY of the WEEK: World title feud rages on (WWE) (First, WWE Champion Bruno Sammartino is attacked by World champion Steve Austin during his title defense against George Steele on WWE All-Star Wrestling. Then Sammartino returned the favor in Stone Cold’s match against Billy Robinson on Championship Wrestling. The stakes for their huge World title match at Summerslam couldn’t be higher!) WRESTLER of the WEEK: AWA Champion Vader (His emphatic victory over Verne Gagne seals this decision, as a battle with Daniel Bryan at the “Million Dollar Match” PPV looms on the horizon) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Samoa Joe steps to Cali fornication (AGPW) (In a showdown reminiscent of some of Samoa Joe’s best work, he puts his tough talk and undefeated streak on the line against Californication. A convincing victory over Goldust is only the beginning, as Joe clearly has his eyes on Superstar Graham’s International Championship!)AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night 8/16/14 -- click here --TAG TEAM of the WEEK: British Bulldogs (AWA) (Not only did they earn a hard-fought victory over a great team (“World‘s Greatest Tag Team“ to be exact), they sowed the seeds of dissension among Haas & Benjamin enough to possibly force a split. Now that’s how you take down the enemy!) WOMAN of the WEEK: Awesome Kong (AGPW) (The Enforcer for Woman’s champion Trish Stratus earns another strong win of her own over Natalya Neidhart on AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night. She continues to remain great insurance for Trish, but how long can this subservience last?)AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night 8/16/14 -- click here --

8/17/14 - 8/23/14 (“An Endless Anniversary”)MATCH of the WEEK: Crusher Casey defeats John Cena to become new BCCW Heavyweight Champion (BCCW TV Episode #50: Anniversary Special) (We now take you to the closing minutes of that match)BCCW TV Episode #50 (Anniversary Special) -- click here --
PLAY of the WEEK: CM Punk challenges Stone Cold (WCW) WCW Monday Nitro -- click here --WRESTLER of the WEEK: International Champion Superstar Graham (AGPW) (By defeating former stablemate Goldust in the main event of Dynamite Saturday Night, not only did Graham put a stamp on his title tenure, he literally forced Goldust to leave town by transferring ownership of his contract! It just goes to show, if you cross Californication, you will pay with your career)AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night 8/23/14 -- click here -- RATINGS POP of the WEEK: New Television champion (BCCW) (Bobby Lashley with the power of Commissioner MVP’s regime behind him, crushed long time BCCW legend Gus Sonnenberg to win the hot potato BCCW TV title. But what spiked the ratings was the arrival of Brock Lesnar to challenge Lashley for his newly-won title at “Slaughtahouse 4”! A dream match years in the making finally happens in mash up wrestling as the “Endless Summer” tour comes to an end!)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: AWA Tag Team Champions Beer Money (Proving they are no fluke, Storm & Roode defeated Harlem Heat and Miracle Violene Connection to retain their titles in the TV Main Event. It was a grueling match, indicative of the AWA in general, and with JJ Dillon in their corner Beer Money have another very potent weapon)AWA Wednesday Night Warriors Week 31 -- click here -- WOMAN of the WEEK: AJ Lee (AGPW) (Welcome to the show, young lady. The hottest woman’s division in Mash up wrestling today just got a few degrees hotter!)
