** BCCW Flyweight Championship **
Paul London © (w/ Wendi Richter)
vs
Ruckus (w/ April Hunter)
Blowoff feud between former Team 4:20 partners, and another Flyweight title dog fight. Ruckus' misogynistic, Napoleon-complex partner BLKJeez tries to beat up Wendi Richter but gets a lowblow from her in response. London winds up out-dueling Ruckus in the air before sticking him with a 450 splash for the finish!
Winner (and STILL Flyweight champion): PAUL LONDON
6) Co-Main Event
Sheamus (2012) versus Steve "Crusher" Casey (1942)
(Heavyweight Grudge Match)
Sheamus and Crusher have been friends and timeline partners since coming to BCCW. Over the course of their career and friendship, they have battled each other twice in honorable competition. Sheamus once defended the Heavyweight title against Crusher (and Bruno) in a triple threat match at "Night of Champions III". Crusher Casey evened the odds last month by defeating Sheamus in a #1 Contender match @ "Bedlam in Boston 4". But the events of that victory caused an already unstable Sheamus to fall completely over the edge. Now driven by bitter jealousy, Sheamus *turned* on his longtime mentor at BCCW TV Episode #47 (Freedom for All) and Ireland hasn't been the same since. This is a Heavyweight slugfest that cannot be contained by mortal means. The already-slightly injured Crusher never quits and Sheamus appears more dastardly & desperate in contrast. In the end, (his giant ego perhaps feeling overmatched), Sheamus reaches for the weapon and both men get caught up in a dueling steel-chairs bit that results in their mutual disqualification. Winner: NONE (no finish). Steve Casey is still the #1 Contender to the BCCW Heavyweight title but his issue with Sheamus has crossed the line into something extremely personal!
Boston area-legend Steve "Crusher" Casey is still the #1 contender for the BCCW Heavyweight title.
Main Event
** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **
John Cena (2013) © vs Ivan Koloff (1974) w/ Lana
(Flag Match)
versus w/
New figurehead and spokesperson for the Russians, LANA, has added another level of sizzling heat to their overall presentation. With the 6-man Tag Team titles around their waists, the Russians cut a very intimidating presence! But Cena will never quit, and that fighting spirit endears him to the entire crowd this evening (even those who usually boo him for their own inane reasons). This is America vs Russia, and both sides come bearing flags of their respective nations! Classic fantasy-wrestling main event made even more potent by the jingoistic sentiments and championship ramifications. "The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff is the same guy who ended Bruno Sammartino's amazing WWWF title run in the 1st place. In the end, Cena makes the superman comeback when none other than *former* 6-Man champion the USO's run in to offset the interference of Nikita & Kozlov! With the evil Russian distractions alleviated, Cena ducks a mighty steel-chain-wrapped punch from Ivan to NAIL the monster with an FUAA! BAM in the center of the ring! 1!... 2!... 3!! Cena does it! Cena wins one tonight for Old Glory!!
Winner (and STILL Heavyweight champion): JOHN CENA (2013) ©
