Special Guest Celine Dion starts the night out with the rendition of O Canada and the Star Spangled Banner.

WWE President William Muldoon, AWA President Eric Bischoff and BCCW Commissioner MVP welcome everyone to this historic night of action as the AWA, WWE and BCCW will compete tonight for personal and company bragging rights in some of the fiercest competition you will ever see.

1st Match: Nigel McGuiness (AWA) beat Nick Bockwinkel(WWE) in 12:33 with the lariat after Larry Zbyszko showed up at ringside and nick knocked him down, but got caught with the lariat as he turned around.

2nd Match: Mickie James/Candice Michelle(WWE) beat Christina Von Eerie (WWE/ Toxiss(BCCW) in 8:03 when Mickie beat Eerie with the mickie DDT.

3rd Match: Rob Van Dam (BCCW) beat WWE Television Champ Jimmy Superfly Snuka w/Sir Oliver Humperdink in 15:09 with the five star frog splash. This was a non-title match.

4th Match: Ray Stevens/Pat Patterson (WWE) beat The Eliminators (AWA) in 16:00 when Stevens beat Kronus with two bombs away kneedrops off the top rope.

5th Match: Butch Reed (WWE) beat Bully Ray (BCCW) in 13:44 with a flying shoulderblock off the top rope as Bully missed with a splash in the corner and his head hit the ringpost. Bully complained about the three count and nailed the referee after the match was over.

6th Match: AWA Intercontinental Champion Scott Hall/Tommy Rich beat WWE Intercontinental Champion Gino Hernandez w/Mr. Fabulous Tony Ulysses/ Alberto Del Rio (BCCW) in 20:21 when Hall beat Hernandez with the Razor's edge. After the match, Del Rio was disgusted with his partner's loss and applies the cross arm breaker on Gino until several officials managed to get Del Rio out of the ring.

7th Match: Lita (WWE)/Wendi Richter (BCCW) beat WWE Womens Champion Bull Nakano w/Paul Jones/BCCW WOmens Champion Trish Stratus in 15:56 when Richter beat Stratus with a crossbody off the top rope as Bull accidently clotheslined her. After the match, Paul Jones got disgusted with trish and trish slapped him, leading to Bull attacking her from behind and nailing her with the Nakano Bomb.


8th Match: Steve Wiliams/Terry Gordy (AWA) beat the Road Warriors (WWE) in 16:08 when Williams, who had a head injury from Beer Money from last week's AWA TV show, but was cleared for this match, pined Animal after a flying spear after Animal was distracted by Paul Jones who came to ringside to taunt the road warriors. After the match, Williams who was bleeding after the spear was helped to the back by Terry Gordy.

9th Match: Triple Threat Tag Match: The USO Brothers (BCCW) pulled an upset by beating WWE Tag Champions Demolition (Smash and Crush) w/Paul Jones and Beer Money w/JJ Dillon (AWA) in 18:08 when Hawk shoved off Crush off the top rope as the ref was distracted by Jones and Dillon who were having a shoving match on the floor. Jey Uso took advantage and delivered a splash off the top rope on Crush for the win. After the match, Jones and Dillon started blaming each other for the loss and started to fight with themselves and their respective teams until several referees controlled the situation.

Main Event 1- Winner gets an MUW World Title Match the night before Battleground II at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto.- WWE World Champion Bruno Sammartino beat Daniel Bryan (AWA) in 40:22 when Daniel executed the yes lock, but Bruno rolled it into a cradle and held on for the three count. After the match, both men shook hands as Daniel wished Bruno good luck in his title opportunity.

Main Event 2- MUW World Title Match: Steve Austin beat BCCW World Champ John Cena in 27:32 after nailing him with a pair of brass knuckles as Cena was going for the FU Bomb. The referee had been knocked down and out by a mistaken tackle by Cena. After the match, Austin goes to ringside and grabs a chair and he starts to whip Cena with the chair several times and then places the chair in between his right arm and goes to the top rope and jumps on the chair and he repeats the process three times until Cena is screaming in pain as his right arm goes limp. Austin spits at hima dn says he ain't got a prayer to ever becoming MUW World Champion and tells him to go to hell. The Emt's come out and assist Cena back to the locker room.

This is an outstanding card that really highlights the action and storylines of the entire MUW network. Every result is certainly in the realm of reason, and the show was anchored by a pair of excellent main events. It's just a damn shame that Bryan couldn't get his hands on Austin in retaliation for his actions at AWA WrestleRock, but security was pretty tight at the Big Event.

My. Man. I put all my proverbial eggs in the basket with this show (hinging my companies PPV success on this sole outing) and damn did it payoff. For starters, I know Toronto has never seen anything like the action they witnessed tonight. This is the epitome of fantasy-wrestling at its highest caliber, and I dare any promoters North of the Border to try and top it (more on this subject later).

RVD 4:20 continues his rise up the ranks like smoke clouds, with a performance over Jimmy Snuka for the ages. I heard the Eliminators were actually wooed to BCCW by agents at this show, and AWA may not be too pleased to have such scandalous, backdoor politics going on behind the scenes. BCCW Bully Ray bites the dust against Butch Reed, which is usually customary when a character (or at least one incarnation of that character) is preparing to end their run. Heel Bully Ray 2013 migrates to face Bully Ray 2014 perhaps?

Speaking of more controversy in Toronto, Trish Stratus got jobbed out when her partner Bull Nakano accidentally clobbered her with a clothesline. Prior to that though the two Woman's champions (Nakano is the WWE Woman's champion) displayed remarkable chemistry. Was this another Trish unauthorized appearance? If Trish has proved one thing in her Mash-Up Wrestling tenure, it's that she does what she wants when she wants.

MVC vs LOD was a dream match of epic proportions with a surprising victor, unless you're familiar with the Mash-Up Wrestling run of Williams & Gordy (perhaps the greatest tag team in Mash Up history? Then why are they rumored to be shopped around by the AWA??) But the greatest display of tag team wrestling tonight was my boys (and former BCCW 6-man tag team champions) the USO's! Nobody expected them to prevail against legendary teams like WWE champion Demolition and soon to be AWA champions Beer Money! Another huge underrated fantasy match that gets my full stamp of approval!

By the time you get to the double main event, this has already been a 5-star production. Watching DBryan and Sammartino go 40 minutes+ felt like time flew by, and even the crowd kept themselves busy with dueling chants. Incredible match that kept both men looking strong, and positions Sammartino even further as the man to possibly end Stone Cold's reign.

Because it certainly won't be BCCW HW champion John Cena, who fought valiantly against the Rattlesnake, but succumbed to his treachery. The truth is Cena has been severely injured and will require surgery, in a rehash of his Summerslam 2013 injury. More on this story as it develops on BCCW TV, but it all starts HERE at The Big Event! I know Wrestlemania is your signature show, but this may have been even *BETTER*. I genuinely enjoyed the outcomes and you know I love your style. So much I tried to bite it even more with my own TV write ups!

I love watching the continued evolution of Steve Austin as seen through our various lenses, and still remember a time when Austin was struggling to break into the Main Event scene against the likes of Hogan & Flair when Mash-Up WWE first started. Now he rides a white hot streak around the Mash-Up globe and torching all he comes in contact with. Is Cena only the 1st casualty? Or will more bodies rise to the top of the river? Only time will tell as Austin continues to run the Mash-Up gauntlet (CM Punk anybody??) and Summerslam looms on the horizon with another huge WORLD title defense being promised!

Excellent show WWEFan, I can't praise you enough. Word to WWE President William Muldoon and Battleground II when it comes back to Toronto in October. The battle for the biggest piece of the Canadian fantasy-wrestling pie continues!!

Even though this was a WWE production, as fifthorseman noted, it is still a collaborative effort. WWEfan worked the magic of Mash up wrestling perfectly with this show. Huge win for the AWA right out of the gate to have Nigel McGuinness pick up a win over Nick Bockwinkel. Even with a loss, the focus is still on a feud between Bockwinkel and Zbyszko that WWE has been slow boiling for some time now. More great woman action and a debut for BCCWs Toxxis I do believe. RVD vs Superfly was a dream match, as was Patterson/Stevens vs Eliminators. That's the kind of stuff you will only see in Mash up wrestling. Butch Reed vs Bully Ray was just the kind of slobberknocker I like. There was a nice twist at the end of Del Rio's team with Gino Hernandez, that proves Gino is not Trilogy material. Then Wendi Richter picks up a huge win over Trish Stratus in a tag team match, allowing Trish to turn babyface when her partner Bull Nakano and manager Paul Jones attacked her! Monster heel Nakano vs classic babyface Trish for the Womans title? I'm game for that feud! Miracle Violence Connection came out of their win over LOD worse for the wear, but continue to make their argument for being best tag team in the game today. Uso brothers may try to dispute that, which could make for an interesting feud someday. Lord knows where it may play out, but it would be interesting all the same! Sammartino defeating Daniel Bryan is a WWE Dream match for sure, as is Cena vs Austin. Having these two matches as co main events helps put this card over the top as one of the strongest of the year. It doesn't hurt that they were both near classics, even with Stone Cold resorting to lowlife tactics to retain his title. Overall this was an amazing show that puts even more heat on your upcoming Summerslam card. You have built a tremendous roster and are using it to the fullest degree. Congratulations to all who were involved, but especially to WWEfan who fastened all the pieces together like a master craftsman. I give this show 20 out of 20 points.
