Local legend and former WWE IC/US champion Kofi Kingston!** Live from Historic BOSTON GARDEN!! *** Lengthy hype video is rudely interrupted by the vindictive DYNAMITE KID (1986)!! * The suspended loose cannon hijacks the ring and commandeers a mic. Unauthorized shoot promo from Dynamite Kid that touches on everything from rumors of another WWE/BCCW war to the recent move of Bret “Hitman” Hart to AGPW (a signing that has been met with extreme disdain by Dynamite Kid). * Finally, his ranting is cut of by the theme song and entrance of New England-area Legend Gus Sonnenberg!! Boston Strong! Challenge accepted!! DYNAMITE KID (1986) versus GUS SONNENBERG
** Impromptu Showdown ** versus * Str8t slugfest to open our show, with multiple hockey-style exchanges and blistering knife-edge chops. UFC meets ROH in the Boston Fight Club.
* 6 minutes of back-and-forth action. After being bloodied hardway from the mouth, Gson hits his explosive “Providence Steamroller” signature (half Gore/POUNCE!) to a huge pop. He sets up Dynamite Kid for the patented rolling Boston Crab, and the pressure on his back is too much - Dynamite Kid is forced to tap! Winner (by submission): GUS SONNENBERG** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** BCCW celebrity-correspondent MARIA MENOUNOS interviews our special guest-enforcer for tonight's Main Event WORLD Title match...Reigning WWE champion BRUNO SAMMARTINO!!Bruno is an honorable man who has fought on the side of BCCW for many years! * L.A.X. and BLKOut (now totally fragmented) are a combustible combination that the Wolves are able to counter with clear-headed science.
* Eventually the valets of each team get involved. They kickstart a wild clothes-tearing catfight that nearly tears down the entire set! Alexxis Nevaeh runs through Shelley & April, but hits an angry diminutive brick wall named BLKJeez!
* But the distraction of BLKJeez trying to humiliate Alexxis allows for the Wolves to stage a furious rally.
* After a domino effect of tag-team and solo finishers, the Wolves are left alone in the ring to dramatically finish off Chavo Guerrero for the pin. So far so good! Guerrero was the right choice to go over, but I have zero doubt the two could maintain a rivalry all summer. A hell of an opener, too.

I was going to comment further in your "Fantasy Wrestling from Fenway Park" episode but chose to bite my tongue. It was a strong show, though a little schizophrenic. As if you didn't have a clear plan going into this. You hotshotted two title changes on that show before you even got to the PPV. That's a pretty daring and huge reset button. I am cautious to see where you go with those titles before I cast judgement, but the rest of the issues you've built have been top notch. I particularly like the HHH vs Muldoon angle, and have a killer guess as to who Muldoons choice of opponent will be at the PPV. I liked the pre show here as you got it off to a hot and heavy start. I'm not even surprised anymore to see Gus Sonnenberg pick up such a huge win, and the American Wolves have built quite a following in BCCW as well. I would have liked to actually hear a little more from Bruno during his interview but I guess oogling pictures of Maria Menonous ain't half bad either! Good to see Guerrero go over Del Rio in Game 7 and it will be interesting to see where each of them go from here. I find them both better positioned than when they went into this series, which is the hallmark of a great wrestling feud. Now get the rest of this show on the road, you're burning precious daylight!

BEDLAM in BOSTON 4!!!Ringside Commentators Gordon Solie & Matt StrikerLoud music! Thousands of screaming fans! Pyro! This is Broken City Championship Wrestling by MadStepDad and welcome to “BEDLAM in BOSTON 4”!!
Tonight the biggest showcase of the BCCW calendar year is punctuated by the *greatest match in fantasy-wrestling history*… one bout to represent 3 generations of fantasy-wrestling… ** WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP ** Stone Cold Steve Austin (1998) © vs. Hulk Hogan (1988) vs. John Cena (2008)
(w/ Bruno Sammartino (1978) as the special enforcer!!)The full magic of Mash-Up Wrestling will be on display tonight, in the birth land of the craft! This is BCCW LIVE from Boston Garden and this is the REALEST IZH in fantasy-wrestling TODAY!!** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________** BCCW Television title **20-man "Beantown Battle Royal"BCCW Backstory: Reigning Television champion Andre the Giant (1975) © has such a big target on his back that he issued this title challenge tonight. Effectively taking on 19 opponents at the same time, and living up to his “King of the Battle Royal” moniker. Opening format also allows the opportunity for nearly everybody on the BCCW roster a chance to appear on the BiB4 card. Order of Elimination:"Harvard" Chris Nowinski(Newest addition to BCCW and part of a 6-man Tag Team fraternity with Damien Sandow & Wild Red Berry, Nowinski is nonetheless 1st to go after daring to open up the ceremonies with a demand for silence while they recited their pledge)Juventud Guerrera(Masked Mexican sensation is mezmorizing Stateside fans with his undersized offense. Tonight that size difference plays a major role when he's literally pitched over the top rope like a javelin by the 7-foot "Blueprint" Matt Morgan)"Duke of Dorchester" Pete Doherty(The "Brooklyn Brawler" of Boston lore, Pete gets a warm reception before being dumped like a trashbag by both of the 400lb+ Headhunter twins)Headhunter #2(Clotheslined over the top-rope by Andre the Giant, aftering trying to gang-tackle the reigning TV Champion with his twin brother)Kofi Kingston(After another daring series of escapes and close-calls, the B.U.-bred Kofi Kingston is eliminated by the nefarious duo of Damien Sandow & "Wild" Red Berry)Kamala(The Ugandan Giant is chopped right out of the ring by Andre "The Big Rating")Mark Briscoe(Eliminated from behind by Bully Ray)"Sicilian Psychopath" Tommaso Ciampa(Carbon Footprint finisher from "Blueprint" Matt Morgan)Adam Bomb(Tossed over the top rope by an enraged Andre the Giant! The TV champion is on a tear, and unleashes a mighty roar like King Kong standing on top of the Prudential building!!)Headhunter 1(Continuing his giant-sized rampage, Andre take out the last of the savage Headhunterz with a meaty clothesline)Damien Sandow(Both he and partner Wild Red Berry tried out-smarting everybody, and hiding on the arena floor... but he was literally dragged INTO the ring by his hair & beard by Andre the Giant! The TV champion leaned all the way over and snatched Sandow off the arena floor, where he dead-lifted him and pitched him *back* over the top rope to the floor! The crowd is going BERSERK in Boston tonight!!)Wild Red Berry(The clever & manipulative Berry actually waited for the previous exchange to finish, before jumping on Andre's back and trying to push him over the top rope. Fat chance. Andre simply shrugged Berry off his shoulder and flung him into a pile on top of Damien Sandow on the arena floor! Another big pop for Andre, as he's suddenly collapsed upon from behind by the rest of the giant bad guys left in this battle royal!)Sabu("WE WANT TABLES!" chant is answered when Sabu takes a header off the top rope through a nearby one, after losing a duel with RVD on the turnbuckles! Our first official unedited "HOLY SHIT!" chant of the evening!)Jay Briscoe(Double-clothesliined and spun to the floor by Bully Ray & Matt Morgan)"Dangerous" Danny Davis(Another New England native and longtime BCCW staple, this crooked ex-referee lasted this long by clinging to the ropes every chance he got. Finally he was plucked like a delicate flower and spin-kicked over the top rope by RVD!)Rob Van Dam(The uber-over BCCW fan-favorite RVD is unceremonously eliminated from behind by the scheming Bully Ray. Bigtime boos from the BCCW faithful for that elimination)Antonio "Promise" Thomas(Last of the New England-area fan favorites, Thomas survives admirably and even gets to briefly team up with Andre within the context of the match [earning immeasurable rub], before finally being eliminated by a fired-up Matt Morgan. The "Blueprint" and Bully Ray can now focus their evil intentions upon the reigning TV champion Andre the Giant...)"Blueprint" Matt Morgan(Sneak eliminated by temporary partner in crime Bully Ray, after the two of them conducted a hellacious beat down segment on Andre. Morgan had Andre on the ropes, but Bully Ray chose to try and eliminate them both at the same time. Instead, Morgan was thrown over the top rope from behind by Bully Ray, while Andre managed to cling on a little while longer. “Blueprint“ is enraged at ringside, and tears up a Spanish Announce table on his way back to the dressing room.) Bully Ray(Rematch of the title fight that brought Andre his TV title in the first place - see “BCCW presents Night of Champions IV”. Bully Ray 2013 is riding the hottest heel streak of his career and manages to squeeze every drop of hostility from the crowd with his beat down on Andre. But eventually, in true Giant form, Andre rallies back - and with the cheers of the crowd propelling him on - manages to bench-press the near-300lb Bully Ray right over the top rope for the elimination!! One final “OMG!” moment for the Giant tonight!)WINNER (and STILL Television champion): ANDRE the GIANT ©!!!(Andre proves he’s still the “Big Rating” in BCCW, and especially in Boston tonight with this statement victory! Andre in his prime conducting another mythological performance! The fans have been blessed! This is Mash-Up Wrestling - relive the glory!!)"The Big Rating" Andre the Giant!!** CUT BACKSTAGE **BCCW Heavyweight champion JOHN CENA (2008) © cuts a promo backstage. Tonight is the single biggest match in fantasy-wrestling history, and Cena will prove the real champion is HERE - and from Boston MA!!** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________BRAY WYATT versus UMAGA (Xtreme Rulez Bout) w/ vs. BCCW Backstory: Bray Wyatt has surged into the Northeast with his Wyatt Family behind him, on a crusade to spread his backwoods message and dominate the 6-Man Tag Team division. Umaga is a former BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champion, who found himself without a stabilizing force after turning-on and cannibalizing the “Trash Pack” (of which Umaga was a part). So Bray Wyatt inducted Umaga into his tribe and used the Samoan Bulldozer as a weapon of mass destruction. But when Umaga “failed” his cause, Bray Wyatt quickly turned on him and left him for dead (see BCCW TV Episode #44 where the Wyatt family had Umaga literally “tarred and feathered”). Now Umaga hassurged back for his revenge, and defeated both Harper & Rowan in a handicap match to earn the privilege of facing his brainwashing mentor Bray Wyatt in this match tonight. XTREME RULEZ!! Match: Clash of two monsters that fulfills the Horror movie quotient of our show this evening. Each mans madness seems matched by the other, just on two completely different primordial planes. Wyatt the cerebral psychopath and Umaga the primitive savage. Wild frenzied brawl that spills outside the ring, through ring steps and over steel guard rails! Bray Wyatt sustains the biggest beating of his BCCW career thus far (even bleeding from the head), but doesn’t fold. Quietly behind the scenes, Umaga has failed another drug test and will not be continuing his BCCW career. This is his company swan song, and he goes out with a bang (fighting through a Wyatt Family double-team, only to miss his own Banzai splash through a table and eat a Sister Abigail finisher from Bray onto a steel chair). 1!.. 2!.. 3! Bray Wyatt finally lays to rest the thrashing, wild animal like an alligator hunter in the Louisiana backwoods… and the Wyatt Family cult will continue to strengthen unabated… “the buzzards have landed”. Winner: BRAY WYATT (2014)** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** Coming to the BCCW Flyweight division...DON EAGLE!!See his *DEBUT MATCH* next BCCW TV Episode! Stay tuned!!** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________** BCCW Flyweight championship **JUSHIN "Thunder" LIGER (1995) © versus PAUL LONDON (2006) w/ Wendi Richter versus w/ BCCW Backstory: Jushin “Thunder” Liger is part of a talent exchange with Japan and has been dazzling American fans with his high-flying prowess. Since capturing the BCCW Flyweight championship (see “Night of Champions IV”), Liger has recreated the division in his mold. Paul London is a former BCCW FW champion and tag team partner, who has been revitalized by a Mash-Up combination with Wendi Richter. London won a #1 Contender FW Triple Threat on BCCW Fight Night XLIV (click here) that effectively ended his partnership with Team 4:20. The results of that dissolution were felt further on BCCW TV Episode #45 when London vs. Liger’s title match was disrupted by the newly-formed BLKOut. Liger & London formed a dream-match combination to temporarily drive back BLKOut, so they could focus on their fierce one-on-one competition tonight. London's Rock-n-Roll valet WENDI RICHTER (1984)The Match: Match represents the purest essence of Broken City Championship Wrestling (honorable competition), and each combatant reflects that. Rolls of streamers criss-cross the ring ROH style for our MMA walk-outs. Big-time fight feel that keeps a buzz in the air and continues the tone of our evening. Cue bell and let’s get it on! London stomps around the ring as a sporty Wendi Richter cheerleads her boy at ringside. London and Liger circle each other, while attempting periodic leg kicks to test the distance. London goes for a kick but Liger dodges it. The FW champion Jushin Liger attempts martial arts spin kicks of his own, but London dodges those. Paul takes down Liger using good-old fashioned American wrestling, but Liger gets in a few kicks and forearms on the mat. Liger takes control and lays in some stiff kicks to London’s back. Off the ropes with a whiplash, London is caught in a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. More kicks to the body and London is on the ropes. More striking from Liger - quick snapmare – into a submission attempt. London tries to fight back, but Liger flips out and lands a double-knee to the face, Y2J-Code Breaker style. But with that momentum falling backwards, London explodes off the ropes with a clothesline to Liger and both men are down! London up first with a quick hurricanranna but only 2. Wendi is cheering him on as Paul London scales the top turnbuckle. Liger charges, but London leapfrogs OVER him and *soccer kicks* Liger backwards into the corner! London races to the top rope again, in anticipation of his match-ending 450 splash! But Liger counters by getting up both knees and driving them into Paul’s body on the way down! Liger for the cover on London but only two! Another striking exchange on the feet but Liger cuts him off with a big back suplex. Liger covers, but only gets a two count. Crowd is so into the match, that a small (but vocal) portion of "smart fans" start chanting "WE WANT FLAIR! WE WANT FLAIR!!" Back and forth they go, complete with dueling chants from the crowd and obligatory “THIS IS AWESOME!” Liger is working on London’s body and rib area. More stiff kicks. “Thunder” sets up London – gets a running start – and hits a picture perfect Space Flying Tiger Drop OVER the top rope! Liger covers back in the ring, but still only gets a two count. Richter is rallying the fans at ringside. Liger applies an abdominal stretch to slow the pace and work the ribs some more. Eventually London fights out, only to get spin kicked back into the turnbuckles. Liger charges at London, but Paul counters with a huge belly-to-belly suplex INTO the turnbuckles! London takes firm control of the match. Elbows to the face! Dropkicks! London counters a suplex attempt by flipping over Ligers shoulder and BLASTING the champion with a side kick! 1!.. 2!.. kickout! Back into a series of close-calls and pinning reversals, that culminates with a Liger springboarding off the ropes with a moonsault – only to get *caught* by London over the shoulder (!) – and spiked into the mat with a piledriver! London goes for the cover, but Liger *barely* kicks out – his body nearly limp now! Crowd senses the end is near and their roars of approval reach another decimal. London goes up to the top, but Liger uses his last bit of energy to roll out of the ring. So London shrugs his shoulders as if to say “F it, why not?” – and hits a shooting star press on Liger from the top rope to the arena floor! Another wholly appropriate “HOLY SHIT!” chant for Paul London! Back in the ring, in near-exhaustion, the two men do climatic battle on the top rope – each struggling to capture that sacred turf. London wins the battle and chops Liger hard, where he falls all the way back down to the mat. Just like that, London rises to his feet like the crescendo of the crowd – and unleashes a breathtaking 450 splash onto a prone Jushin Liger below! WHAM! 1!.. 2!.. 3!! We have a new champion! London is in near-tears as he is embraced by Wendi Richter and enveloped in the roar of the crowd! Post match, both men shake hands and embrace in a show of mutual respect and Flyweight superiority! Paul London is once again the most daring X-Athlete in all of fantasy wrestling! Winner (and NEW BCCW Flyweight champion): PAUL LONDON (2005)!!** CUT BACKSTAGE **Interview from primetime HULK HOGAN (1988), who is pumped and ready to unleash his 24-inch guns in the single biggest bout in fantasy-wrestling history later tonight. WHATCHA GONNA DO when Hulkamania runs wild in Boston on YOU!?!?** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________** BCCW 6-Man Tag Team titles **RUSSIANS versus The USO's © vs. BCCW Backstory: Without mentioning “current events” so as to not draw the ire of critics, the Russians in BCCW have nonetheless pushed a very political hot button as of late. Reinvigorating the flames of the Cold War, making cross-promotional appearances (see Ivan & Nikita Koloff competing in AWA’s “Crockett Cup 2014”) and burying their opponents under Russian flags. The Uso’s on the other hand, are one of BCCW’s longest-tenured teams, and are on their biggest popularity upswing yet (see “WWE Tag Team title reign circa 2014”). They have been rewarded for their run by unseating incumbent champions the Love Brothers for the 6-Man Tag titles on BCCW TV Episode #46: “Fantasy Wrestling from Fenway Park”). But tonight, the Uso’s are fighting for more than just their tag titles or Wild Samoan ancestry - they are fighting for the very spirit of America and all her glorious freedoms. The Match: Intense, personal and highly-physical bout that continues the recent trend of Uso’s matches receiving “THIS IS AWESOME!” chants from the crowd. In this case, the American spirit is even more prevalent, with tons of flags in the stands and the Uso’s face-paint resembling the Star Spangled Banner. The 6th man fantasy additions to each team (Kozlov for the Russians and Rikishi for the Uso’s) are the different makers tonight. Russians use classic heel tactics to allow Kozlov to break a Russian flag pole over Rikishi’s back. From there, Nikita sent Rikishi spinning 360 degrees with a mean Russian lariat for the disappointing pinfall! The entire arena fell into a hushed silence when they realized it was over, before sparking back to life behind the heat-machine Ivan Koloff and his inflammatory post match victory promo! The Russians have came, saw & conquered - taking the precious 6-Man Title straps back to Putin!! Winners (and NEW 6-Man Tag Team champions): THE RUSSIANS!!** CUT ** _____________________________________________________________"Rumble Seat" starring: BCCW Middleweight champion "Masshole" Mike McCarthy (2015)"Boston Bad Boy" Tony RumbleBuffer segment designed to give the fans a breather, and put over the vocal stylings of New England-area legend “Boston Bad Boy” Tony Rumble. BCCW Middleweight champion "Masshole" Mike McCarthy (2015)His “Rumble Seat” sketch helps get over our *NEW* BCCW Middleweight champion (see BCCW TV Episode #46: “Fantasy Wrestling from Fenway Park”) and contemporary New England underground favorite, “MASSHOLE” MIKE MCCARTHY (2015) ©. His TV title reign in my beloved NECW helped cement the decision to put McCarthy over former MW champion Ricky Steamboat for the title (especially when the Dragon dare ask for time off to be with his family). But that doesn’t persuade fans from considering the “Masshole” to be our modern-day Punk rock equivalent of the Honky Tonk Man. Former BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champions the LOVE BROTHERS! The entertaining and boorish, if not vaguely Dice Clay-ish segment is interrupted by fellow New England area heels (and former BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champions) the LOVE BROTHERS, Reginald & Hartford with their pot-dealing accomplice Weedman! The picket-sign protesting Hippies interrupt and wind up sharing their grievances and complaints with Rumble in completely heelish & whiny fashion. Who will defend the honor of Boston and BCCW against the foul accusations of the Love Brothers?? "WE WANT FLAIR! WE WANT FLAIR!!" Cue the surprise entrance and theme song of Japanese superstar MASATO TANAKA! Masato Tanaka (1999)He only has a one word retort for the Love Brothers & Mike McCarthy ©… “KAMIKAZE!!” LOVE BROTHERS versus MASATO TANAKA (Xtreme Handicap Match) versus Rumble & McCarthy wisely bail from the set, as Tanaka goes to furious work. Quickly becomes an impromptu handicap match, with Tanaka running through the Love Brothers black ninja-style (one after another). Roaring elbow! Roaring elbow! Diamond Dust to Weedman and Tanaka counts his *own* unofficial pinfall! Tanaka displays the ferocious sense of competitiveness that BCCW is truly known for!!”Winner”: MASATO TANAKA (1999) But wait! We’re just getting warmed up! Cue the ominous strains of “Bring the Pain”…! HUGE instinctive pop from the crowd! Enter BROCK LESNAR (2014) w/ his super-agent “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers (1984)!!MASATO TANAKA versus... BROCK LESNAR (2014) w/ "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers (Impromptu Heavyweight Bout) versus w/ Oh boy, business is about to pick up right now!! Big showdown in the middle of the ring like two snorting, bucking wild animals! No words are need, the sentiment is violently clear! Lesnar is here! Tanaka wants a fight! Let’s get it on!! Jumping right out of the hallowed hall of ECW circa 1999, fresh from FMW in Japan, Tanaka is an underrated dream match for the bulldozer Brock. Think “One Night Stand 2005” meets “Extreme Rules 2012”. Brock is 10x more Awesome than Mike so this match reflects that heightened brutality and physicality. Brock and Tanaka break about 2.5 tables per minute and go full-force against each other. “HOLY SHIT!” chants continue to abound. Finally, after 3 concussive steel chair shots from Lesnar (the 1st was *no-sold* by Tanaka!!), Masato is mercifully finished with an F5! Buddy Rogers slides into the ring to administer the 3 count for Lesnar himself! “The Next Big Thing” is still here in BCCW and as Buddy Rogers makes abundantly clear on the mic post match, they have an agenda to fulfill! What that means is still unclear, but one thing is certain - the “Beast Incarnate” has cast a dark shadow over the entire BCCW landscape!!Winner: BROCK LESNAR (2014)** CUT TO VIDEO RECAP ** _____________________________________________________________TRIPLE H (2014) versus... KILLER KOWALSKI!!! (1974) -- The Return!! versus Special Guest Referee:
William MuldoonBCCW Backstory: “Solid Man” William Muldoon served his penance in XPW Remixed before reemerging as a grizzled veteran and master-trainer in Broken City Championship Wrestling. Muldoon served as “Commissioner” under the honorable Paul Bowser regime and created an environment of honorable competition. When WWE finally sank it’s teeth into virgin BCCW territory and the “Illuminati” was born (see “Halloween in Hell 3”), Muldoon was among the 1st victims. Muldoon was removed as BCCW Commissioner and *replaced* by Triple H (2014). But Muldoon rebounded by becoming on-screen Commissioner for WWE (hired by Shane McMahon); a position he retains to this day. Muldoon then used that stroke to help him return to BCCW under a talent-contract as player/coach of the Untouchables, winning the BCCW 6-Man Tag Team straps. All the while his political and physical war with Commissioner HHH continued to rage. "The Solid Man" William MuldoonAfter the Untouchables lost the 6-man straps, and HHH was relieved of his Commissioner duties, the two once again met on even ground ( see “BCCW TV Episode #46 (Fantasy Wrestling from Fenway Park) -- click here). Therein lies the ultimate challenge - the “Cerebral Assassin versus the Solid Man”. Who is the more brilliant pro-wrestling mind? Muldoon has vowed to defeat HHH with one of his own prior victims, and wagered his entire career on the outcome (vowing to step down as WWE Commissioner if he loses the bet). Triple H has put it all on the line as well, risking his BCCW Talent Contract (the last vestige of importance binding him to BCCW) on this match. If HHH loses tonight, he will be *BANNED* from competing in BCCW! Meanwhile, HHH still sits on a rare legal caveat that allows him to *choose his successor* as BCCW Commissioner, and is waiting the full 30-days before publicizing his decision. Buying him only more time to be a legal burr in BCCW’s hair (think “Donald Sterling vs. NBA”). But are those sands in the hourglass only ticking towards the inevitable for either man?? Stay tuned for the blow-off to one of the biggest Blood Feuds in BCCW history! The Match: See ”NYR4” (click here) for the last time these two met, within the confines of Hell in a Cell nonetheless. Tonight the surprise factor (and home court advantage) helps swing things considerably in Kowalski’s favor. If nothing else nice can be said about him, HHH is definitely a student of the game, and it is truly an honor for him to compete against his mentor tonight. Muldoon calls the match fair and square, and with much leniency (letting both men get away with typical heel tactics like eye pokes, face rakes and crotch shots). Fans are firmly behind Kowalski in this equation as another Boston-area “Dream Match” unfolds before their eyes. Commentators reiterate that win, lose or draw, HHH still has until next BCCW TV Episode to officially name his successor as BCCW Commissioner. The plot thickens. This is a classic ’70s-style match that borrows liberally from the greats of that era like Ray Stevens, Harley Race and of course - Killer Kowalski himself. Fans chant "WE WANT FLAIR!" at HHH. A true time-capsule match, that can’t even be marred by HHH’s closing desperation. When it became clear it would take a mule to keep Kowalski down, HHH went under the ring to retrieve his sledgehammer… but of course he was intercepted by the honorable William Muldoon, who prevented him from using it. Instead, Kowalski used a Testicular-Claw to incapacitate HHH before leveling him with his *own* finisher! A Pedigree to HHH in the center of the ring! Muldoon makes the count with pleasure! 1!.. 2!.. 3!! Triple H is outta BCCW!! Winner: KILLER KOWALSKIPostmatch, William Muldoon (still WWE Commissioner by way of this victory) triumphantly teases a NEW future union between WWE and BCCW... this time it's for the GOOD of fantasy wrestling! ** See WWE Commissioner William Muldoon's FULL ANNOUNCEMENT on WWE All-Star Wrestling 7/11/14 with Mash-Up Wrestling ondemand!! (click here) **Coming July 27th from Mash-Up Wrestling!!** CUT TO VIDEO RECAP ** _____________________________________________________________SHEAMUS (2012) vs STEVE "Crusher" CASEY (1942)
(Heavyweight #1 Contender Match) versus BCCW Backstory: Pro wrestling itself was born in New England, with Vermont being credited as the birth state and Irish the bloodline. In the post WWII-era of American history, President Paul Bowser used heavy Irish favorites to build his Boston-area wrestling promotion. Though they may have been critically panned in some circles (like all successful acts, really) guys like the late Danno O’Mahoney (1st ever BCCW HW champion) were positioned as main event baby faces. See “John Cena” 80 years later. Following along with that trend came Steve “Crusher” Casey, who is known as “Ireland’s Greatest Athlete” for his incredible athletic feats. Crusher is a BCCW-Original, former Fallout Festival Battle Royal winner, and the man who defeated Brock Lesnar (2014) in arguably one of fantasy-wrestling’s biggest “upsets” in history (see “Another Scene of the Crime”). Fast forward down the Irish-born timeline and you will find the “Celtic Warrior” Sheamus (2012). Another BCCW stalwart and former Heavyweight champion, Sheamus has been part of the “Untouchables” core that helped save BCCW from the brink of extinction in its war against WWE and the Illuminati. This match tonight between two timeline Icons and Irish-born superstars is a gift from WWE Commissioner William Muldoon, who has granted the winner a Heavyweight title shot. Tonight the honor and legacy of BCCW will be on the line in a battle that will define an entire culture! Sheamus and Steve Casey shoot the fair one in an epic Dream Match combination! Only in Beantown-based BCCW and only at “Bedlam in Boston 4”!!! The Match: Bell rings and we get the handshake of mutual respect to start. Heavyweight Dream Match! Here we go! Feeling out process for the two, before Crusher Casey launches into a few takedown attempts that are deftly shrugged off by Sheamus. Sheamus with some striking, but Casey catches a leg kick and sends Sheamus toppling backwards right over the top rope! Sheamus stalks ringside as both men soak in the dueling “LET’S GO SHEAMUS!“ / “LET’S GO CRUSHER!“ chants that are welling up from within the crowd. Back inside the ring, Sheamus catches Crusher with some big right hands and a flying forearm. But the Crusher responds with a quick tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! Commentators discuss the tenacity & willpower Crusher displayed by beating Brock Lesnar at “Another Scene of the Crime“. Casey traps Sheamus in the corner, but lets him go clean. The Pale Swordsman Sheamus comes back with some big clubbing blows, as the two Irish men go toe-to-toe! Hockey-style slugfest, with the crowd responding louder with every pound of flesh! Huge takedown from Sheamus, but he can’t keep Crusher on the mat. Sheamus tries wearing him down, but Casey fires back with a quick uppercut and regains control. He Irish-whips Sheamus into the turnbuckles, as commentators remind you that move originated with Mash-Up Wrestling legend (and FIRST-EVER “Boston” aka “BCCW HW champion”) Danno O’Mahoney - who used a variation of the “Irish Whip” as his finisher. Now it is a standard wrestling transition move, and it all started in Boston. Casey with some body-rocking clotheslines and a big overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Only a 2 count! Crusher with huge T-Bone Suplex that nearly folds Sheamus in half!
Crowd is surging with adrenaline now, as Sheamus counters with a crushing spine buster of his own! These two behemoths are giving it everything they’ve got in Boston tonight, on the grandest stage possible! Sheamus tries a go-behind takedown, but Crusher reverses and nails a German suplex! Both men on the mat, but Casey doesn’t release his waistlock on Sheamus, and drags him to his feet for *another* pulverizing German suplex! Then a 3rd! Finally Casey connects with a *4th* German suplex and releases Sheamus like a folded accordion! 1!.. 2!… Kickout! Crusher is surprised at Sheamus’ resilience, but continues his strong-style offense. But this time, Sheamus reverses into a German suplex of his own - that launches Casey back-first into the turnbuckles! WHAM! Casey goes down as the crowd continues cheering for both men! Finally Sheamus is up at the count of 8, and rocks the elder Casey with a series of back fists and a big clothesline. Another desperate lunge from Casey is answered by a “White Noise” slam from Sheamus! But only a 2 count, as the grizzled veteran Crusher Casey barely kicks out! Now it’s Sheamus’ turn to express frustration!
Sheamus can’t pound out Crusher, so he tries a different strategy - attacking the mans knee and leg. Sheamus with some kicks, stomps and even a climatic Texas Cloverleaf attempt! But Casey grits his teeth and drags himself to the bottom ropes for a break! Sheamus sure takes his sweet time releasing the hold though, before arguing with the ref. Slight shades of a heel turn perhaps? Back on the attack, Sheamus keeps up the pressure. Commentators stress the ramifications of this bout, as we are witnessing a battle for the literal “Future” of the BCCW Heavyweight division (winner receives a #1 Contender match). Sheamus has Crusher by the ankle, but Casey rolls through and drops his opponent with some stiff axe kicks! A dazed Sheamus breaks free, but “accidentally“ hits Casey in the eye on a charge - momentarily blinding him! Sheamus goes immediately on the attack, pummeling a defenseless Casey into the turnbuckles and nearly collapsing him with body shots! Sheamus is absolutely enraged, and calls for the Brogue Kick finisher! But at the very last moment, Casey dodges (collapses?) - and Sheamus impales himself crotch-first on the top turnbuckle! BAM! “Irish Hammer“ double-axe handle sledge to the FACE from Crusher Casey! “Kerry Crush!!!” 1!.. 2!.. 3!! Crusher has done it! An amazing victory for the king of the city and “Ireland‘s Greatest Athlete"!!!Winner: STEVE “Crusher” CASEYStanding ovation from both men as the commentators are agog at what they just witnessed. A show-stealing co-main event match! Sheamus is VERY visibly frustrated and even shrugs off a post match handshake from Crusher! But when the crowd doesn’t respond well to his hostility, Sheamus thinks better of it and gives Crusher a half-hearted dap and hug. Eventually Sheamus does hold Crushers arm aloft in victory, but does NOT look pleased to be doing so. A crushing loss for Sheamus, pardon the pun. After the match, we see a replay of the finish and pinfall before closing with a shot of Casey celebrating at the top of the ramp and saluting the Boston crowd.** CUT BACKSTAGE ** Scene-stealing backstage promo from reigning WORLD champion ”STONE COLD” STEVE AUSTIN (1998) © who opens up a can of verbal whoop-ass on his opponents (Cena & Hogan) later tonight. Austin also has some very strong and personal words for guest enforcer Bruno Sammartino, with whom Austin shares a bitter rivalry! Stunners will abound in Boston, as Stone Cold promises the fans the worlds biggest beer bash!!** CUT TO COMMERCIAL ** The Most Patriotic Event of the Year is coming to BCCW! A special 3-hour worthy special FREE on BCCW Television! Don't miss it! ** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________"Trilogy"Finally, and somewhat shockingly (yet wholly appropriate), the adamant “WE WANT FLAIR!!” chants of the evening are answered. Cue the epic theme and entrance of the new-age Nature Boy himself, RIC FLAIR!!Full movie-star procession like George Clooney and entourage at the Oscars. Ric Flair is accompanied by a half-dozen beautiful women, his personal enforcer Arn Anderson… and Alberto Del Rio (who fits into the picture seamlessly with his devilish style & swagger). Flair cuts an impassioned promo RE: his BCCW “suspension” and future plans. He cryptically alludes to forming a new faction that will put the 4 Horsemen, Evolution & Fourtune to shame. Ric Flair is the original blockbuster! Alberto Del Rio is the sequel! Tonight they announce the formation of “TRILOGY”! With an invitation-only casting call to join the FUTURE of fantasy-wrestling! Coming soon to BCCW with an offer you can’t refuse!! WHOOOOOOOOO!!** CUT TO VIDEO SUMMARY ** _____________________________________________________________** Mash-Up Wrestling WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP **"STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN (1998) © versus JOHN CENA (2008) versus HULK HOGAN (1988)
(3 Generations of Greatness in Fantasy Wrestling) versus versus w/ special enforcer
BRUNO SAMMARTINO (1978)!!BCCW Backstory: WWE (Stone Cold wins the WORLD championship) -- click here --AGPW (Stone Cold continues to defend the WORLD title against the best in the WORLD) -- click here --BCCW (an old hero returns to stake his claim to the greatest prize in Fight-Fiction history. AGAIN) -- click here --Less of a “BCCW”-specific backstory, and more of a fantasy-wrestling movement in general. This match is the literal embodiment of the genre, and perhaps the greatest single match in Fight-Fiction history. A bout covered in conjecture, doused with a million debates and seasoned with sincerity. 3 Generations of fans brought together on one stage, overseen by the father of the game (WWE Champion Bruno Sammartino special enforcer). Hulk Hogan has returned to the red & yellow in a blaze of glory (see WWF/WWE circa 2002) and aching to regain the strap he so desperately covets. John Cena (2008) is on a return of his own (both from real-life injury at the time, re-debuting to CHEERS in NYC at Royal Rumble 2008) and to the throne of Heavyweight champion here in BCCW. Like the other 3 men involved in this match, Cena has heavy history with all of them. Any combination of Cena/Hogan, Cena/Austin or even Cena/Sammartino sizzles with excitement. Finally, you have Stone Cold Steve Austin, who is at the peak of his own white-hot popularity streak. His Wrestlemania title victory (both in Boston at WM14 or at Mash-Up Wrestling WrestleMania this past April) has catapulted him to a new level of public consciousness. Simply put, Austin is en feugo - and has become arguably the most popular character in wrestling HISTORY. His defenses of the shared WORLD Championship of fantasy-wrestling in multiple federations has raised both his own stock and that of the World title itself. Tonight, the endless arguments and debates END. Who is the best, most popular, GREATEST WWE champion of ALL TIME?? The answer will be revealed TONIGHT! Only at “Bedlam in Boston 4”!! BRING IT ON!! The Match: Equal parts storyline and action, as these 3 only have to stand opposite each other and exchange tense staredowns to have the crowd rising to their feet and covered with goosebumps. Throughout the course of the match we get all possible combinations of storyline interactions - from the Americana showdown of Hogan vs. Cena (and their own BCCW history going back to Season 2)… to the hostility displayed between special enforcer Bruno Sammartino and Steve Austin, who can’t stop taunting and insulting the Italian Strongman and current WWE Champion. Not a wise strategy from the Rattlesnake, but his emotions have completely consumed him - as they have the others and the entire fantasy-wrestling fan base. This is the greatest match in history, even though technically you could pick apart the workrate with a fine-toothed comb if you’re feeling especially critical. But think WM18 or MitB2011 and you’ll have an idea of the absolutely electric crowd response these 3 men are receiving tonight. Cena does his street fighter shtick. Austin waves the middle finger and stomps mudholes. Hogan hulks up and briefly owns the ring for himself. Everybody kicks out of each others finishers, leaving the fans breathless with every 2-count. In the end, the assigned referee is understandably consumed by the action and destroyed (huge ref bump - cue mandatory special enforcer involvement). In a complete breakdown of the match, Stone Cold uses a steel chair to wallop John Cena completely unseen. The act of climatic treachery is actually embraced with cheers by the fans, as Sammartino slides in to reluctantly count the pinfall. 1.. 2... Stern eye-contact made with Austin… 3! Bruno begrudgingly slaps the mat a final time, signifying an official END to the greatest debate of all time! The winner? And STILL World champion, Steve Austin!! Winner: “STONE COLD” STEVE AUSTIN ©Cena and Hogan are dejected. The fans are still roaring, though some staunch defenders would take to the Internet to complain about Austin’s use of a weapon. Austin exchanges some very strong words with Bruno, and the WWE Champion refuses to hold Austin’s hand up in victory! Instead the two men go nose-to-nose, jawing the entire time, until security officials pry them apart! Austin is still the champion, but hasn’t made any new friends along the way! The issue between Stone Cold and Bruno is only beginning to heat up as the “BIG EVENT” is on the horizon!!Thanks for tuning in tonight, and I apologize for the tardiness! Stay tuned for our next “Liberty or Death” special followed by “The Big Event” in July! The Mash-Up Wrestling ENDLESS SUMMER continues live from Boston MA! Goodnight and God bless! ** FADE OUT **

Congratulations. Some truly epic decisions here, and it's only fitting Austin put that great debate to rest with a steel chair. On Cena of course, because good luck trying to get Hogan to job! My only complaint if there could be one, was that the issue between Bruno and Austin took center stage so quickly after. While it's good to have storyline progression, sometimes even on the same show like that, but you could have let the results of the "biggest match in fantasy wrestling history" settle a little bit more before pulling the trigger. Just my thoughts. Otherwise, it was a stellar outing as usual. The 6 man titles are beginning to look like hot potatoes but with the Russians in firm control now, I can see them holding it for a while. I'm somewhat sad to see the Love Bros experiment apparently end, but what an impromptu appearance by Brock Lesnar. I can definitely see the appeal in that match, though I wonder if Lesnar is being somewhat underutilized in BCCW so far. At least the man who shockingly beat Lesnar at your last show got another win tonight, to prove that was no fluke. Crusher Casey seems to be on a tear lately and his victory over Sheamus here was intense and stirring. Maybe a heel turn is just the thing Sheamus needs to freshen his character in BCCW. I was shocked to see HHH lose that way, until I heard he signed a multi-million dollar deal with WCW to jump ship! I know BCCW has been working with WWE who are now working with AWA, but could this move by WCW signal the start of a "real" battle between the different territories, like the old Monday Night Wars? Time will tell, but I'm glad to see Muldoon and Kowalski get their time in the sun. Same for Paul London and even the Masshole Mike McCarthy who got valuable face time to put over his act. Andre and Bray Wyatt winning were not much of a surprise, but hearing the backstage reason for Bray's victory was certainly interesting. Overall this was another amazing production by the Godfather of the sport, even if it was about 3 or 4 weeks late. You always say "potheads and punctuality are an oxymoron" and I guess you proved that right! Now I'm just going to sit back with 3 fingers in the air and wait for Trilogy to make me an offer I can't refuse! 20 out of 20 points from me, even with the tardiness.

I really enjoyed this show. In fact, I think the show was definitely made better by the impromptu matches. Gus Sonnenberg vs. Dynamite Kid and Brock Lesnar vs. Masato Tanaka are great additions to the show, with the latter being my favourite match on the entire card. I can't believe it wasn't announced ahead of time!
There were some predictable winners, like Karl pointed out, but that's sometimes a good thing. André shouldn't lose or else he loses his mystique. Bray Wyatt needs to win or else his push gets derailed. Eddie Guerrero is still a new face in this territory, so he needs to completely the come from behind best of seven series victory to establish himself as a big deal. There are plenty of interesting possibilities with Latino Heat for future feuds.
Teasing a Sheamus heel turn is a great idea. I always thought he looked like he could be a monster bad ass heel. I look forward to seeing where he goes from here. His match match with Steve "Crusher" Casey has another excellent match on this show.
Although, Lesnar vs. Tanaka is my favourite fantasy match of the night, the best match of the night has to go to Paul London and Jushin Liger. They tore the house down. That was an incredible match and the action was simply off the hook!
I liked using Killer Kowalski as the surprise opponent for Triple H. It was a great choice. It was a much better idea than going with Brock Lesnar, whose name may have been left off of the card as a decoy. I was really hoping that you wouldn't go with Lesnar and it didn't, thank goodness!
Plus, finally, Austin vs. Hogan vs. Cena is truly one for the ages. It isn't about the work rate. Not every match has to be a clinic to be one of the greatest matches in the history of professional wrestling (see: The Rock vs. Hollywood Hulk Hogan at Wrestlemania XVIII).
This show truly delivered. Thank you for giving us one hell of a barn burner!

That was an overwhelming second half to the show. Huge goings-on. Wyatt-Umaga is a great match (and you gotta think Wyatt's cryptic mindgames wouldn't affect the savage in the least); HHH getting pedigreed by Kowalski; and of course the epic main event. Like Slade said, every match doesn't have to be Steamboat-Flair to be entertaining... and three smart guys like Cena, Hogan, and Austin would whip that Boston crowd into a frenzy.
