"Enter the Cage"BCCW presents "Double Down" From "Legends of BCCW" Chapter One (click here)MSD's Mash-Up Wrestling experiment continues with what has been promised to be the most exciting 3 hours of wall-to-wall action you will see all month. Tonight, historical factions clash and new kingdoms are forged. Bearers of the old guard clash with bastards from the new school in a quest to shape wrestling's future. Tonight, we celebrate the FAD of professional wrestling. Weed out the fakers from the makers, and knock 'em all down with the movers and shakers. Do the men who compete in BCCW have what takes to stay the mission course at all necessary cost? There will be casualties.
Finally, can the greatest threat to the Gold Dust Trio Inc come from within? Unified Champion John Cena refuses to relinquish his title or diminish the Cenation brand - ESPECIALLY in his home state of Money Massachusetts. So his one man crusade continues. But tonight, he is joined by his own allies in Cenation in a brutal War Games exhibition against Gold Dust Trio Inc and Diamond Dynasty representatives.
Cena brings along old rival Mil Mascaras, the newly-minted lone wolf Ted Dibiase Jr (recently betrayed by his Diamond Dynasty peers and ex-girlfriend Maryse) and the hardcore savior MESSIAH. A rag-tag, motley crew to be sure. But Cena has promised that each mans individual desire to see the Inc fold will be enough to propel them into a victorious frenzy. Meanwhile, Diamond Dynasty head honcho Nature Boy Buddy Rogers captains a team that includes Million $$$ Champion Wade Barrett, Undisputed Champion Desmond Wolfe and the dangerous and deadly Mister Mondt himself - his first time ever stepping foot in a BCCW ring. But his legend far precedes him. It is entirely possible for Cena (or any one of his teammates for that matter) to suffer a permanent and debilitating injury from which they can be forced to resign from BCCW. John Cena was giving press backstage. Said he knows what to expect from Mascaras, is expecting big things from Dibiase and personally called on the Messiah himself for his Death Match expertise.
Meanwhile on the other side of the building, the Diamond Dynasty was giving a recorded interview. Buddy Rogers and new Million $$$ Champion Wade Barrett were flanked by their manager Bobby Heenan and valet Maryse. They touted their team as the best, reflected on their business relationship with Gold Dust Trio Inc and promised to make Ted Dibiase Jr pay for his sins. They've already taken his girl and his fathers championship, but they're not done with him yet. And Cena, that Unified Belt is coming back home to the Dynasty!!! Mister Mondt (in full wrestling gear) gave an interview and laid out the course of the evening. If (and he means "when") the Gold Dust Trio Inc/Diamond Dynasty team wins tonight - Cena will relinquish the Unified Title back to their camp. If Cena's team wins, Cena will finally get to challenge Desmond Wolfe for the right to call themselves the sole unified, undisputed champion of the wrestling UNIVERSE. Big time stakes here. MAIN EVENT
WAR GAMES!!! versus The War Games main event was amazing, arguably the greatest one ever produced. Shortly after the match went off the air, it was already earing rave reviews from the IWC. Here's one right now: quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WarGames. Buddy Rogers, Wade Barrett, Desmond Wolfe & Toots Mondt versus John Cena, Mil Mascaras, Ted Dibiase Jr and the MESSIAH. This is it -- the greatest WarGames, ever. The story: Everyone hates each others' guts. That's all you need to know. Big Wade Barrett and Ted Dibiase Jr start out. Lots of situations where a pinfall would usually happen to stress that there are no pinfalls. Dibiase Jr is bleeding two minutes in, just like everyone else in this match. An 11 year tradition continues here, as the heels win the coin toss. Rogers is next and Dibiase elbows them both before they inevitably destroy Dibiase. The overriding storyline of the match: When it's even odds, the faces are in command, but when the heels have one man up, the faces have no chance. Mil Mascaras comes in to make the save and slingshots Barrett into the cage THREE TIMES. No release. Wild stuff. Desmond Wolfe is in next and Mascaras is bleeding through his mask 10 seconds later. You like blood? This is the match for you. Incredibly hot crowd, they must've been distributing speed in the hot dog vendors or something. Messiah is in and just obliterates everyone with a steel chair. Mister Mondt is in and goes right after Messiah, and Rogers helps out by giving the most blatant ballshot you'll ever see. Then Rogers and Barrett give Dibiase *two* spike piledrivers in a row. Brutal. Even the bad wrestlers look good because they can punch and kick away and it's totally in context. Cena comes in, wearing a spiked gauntlet around the Nexus armband he got on RAW from Barrett, and starts jamming it into Mondts eye. Then Mascaras & Messiah corner Desmond 2-on-1 and just absolutely murder him for about three minutes until he finally surrenders to the end the whole thing. A bloody, brutal classic. *****

"24-carat Revenge"From XPW Remixed presents "A Cold Day In Hell" Season One (click here)_____________________________________________________________ 8) MAIN EVENT
WAR GAMES!!!
TEAM SAMMARTINO versus BLACK ARMY versus DIAMOND DYNASTYVERSUS VERSUS You may not realize it, but “War Games” continues to live – long after the NWA and WCW went under. ECW once ran something similar called an “Ultimate Jeopardy Match”, and CZW holds an annual event called “Cage of Death” that is very similar in design and practice (let’s not even touch on the original XPW’s poor attempt at a “War Games” match). The setup of match here in XPW Remixed consists of two rings side by side with a giant ring-encompassing cage that covered both rings (ceiling too), but not the ringside area. Doors are placed at far corners of the rectangular cage so the teams don’t come into contact before they were supposed to. The match begins with one member of Team Sammartino and the Diamond Dynasty starting. After 5 minutes, a member from the Black Army will enter. Every two minutes thereafter, team members will enter until all are accounted for. Once everyone has finally entered the cage – “the match beyond” begins. Weapons are lowered from the roof, and all teams fight for as long as it takes until a member of either team is submitted, surrendered, or knocked unconscious. There are NO pinfalls or disqualification. versus Stepping up like a man for his team, Bruno Sammartino starts the match against his mortal enemy “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers. Much of the opening minutes are spent with Rogers stalling, and heeling it up – enraging the XPW audience in Brockton MA. Finally Sammartino gets his hands on him and goes crazy with suplexes and throws. But just like that, the countdown begins – and DAMIEN DEMENTO enters for The Black Army! On commentary, Solie & Striker remind you of Demento’s history in New England as “Mondo Kleen”. Rogers begs off as Demento tackles Sammartino, and the two heels quickly double-team the champion. Things will continue like this over the next several entries. Skandor Akbar entered next, and now Sammartino was being triple-teamed to HUGE crowd heat. Finally things boiled over when Buddy Rogers insisted on trying to direct traffic, and Akbar and Demento decided to just turn on him and stomp him down. Finally, all three teams were at each other’s throats. Lou Thesz entered next for Team Sammartino, and immediately went after Demento and Skandor – clearing them off Bruno. Thesz was a house afire, lighting into Demento and Akbar with European uppercuts, body slams and back body drops. He finally cornered Buddy Rogers, who once again tried to beg off on his knees – before countering with a low blow and a thumb in the eye to steal the advantage! Jack Swagger entered next and the Diamond Dynasty briefly controlled the next portion of the match, stretching Akbar, double-teaming Sammartino and putting Lou Thesz in a joint Dragon Sleeper/Figure-4 leglock! Next in is the “Prince of Darkness” Kevin Sullivan, and the Black Army has the 3 on 2 advantage. Sullivan and Demento double-team Sammartino, while Swagger and Thesz continue their never-ending feud. Skandor Akbar is out on the mat, while “Nature Boy” Buddy Rogers steals another quick breather. Mil Mascaras in next for the good guys, and the cage roof nearly gets blown off the place by the crowd’s reaction. The colorful Mascaras streaks into the ring and takes out the entire Black Army contingent with a single high-cross body block from the top! Momentum starts to swing towards Team Sammartino, as Thesz and Mascaras clear one of the rings (allowing captain Sammartino to briefly recover). Finally, the clock ticks down for the next entrant – and all throughout commentary Striker and Solie were wondering who the final two members of the Diamond Dynasty team would be. Now we are about to find out. The buzzer goes off… there is an elongated pause for dramatic effect. Then… AWWWWWWWWESOOOOOOOOME!!!! Enter the NEW XPW Remixed Television champion the MIZ with his personal assistant Alex Riley!!! Crowd boos voraciously as they enter wearing Diamond Dynasty signature Rolexes! Meanwhile, Buddy Rogers is in the ring laughing, gloating and pointing at his head to indicate his brain power! Wow, what a major coup for the Diamond Dynasty! The Miz and Riley hit ringside, and Miz ushers Alex Riley into the cage next! Oh my, the newest Diamond Dynasty recruit goes right to work – targeting Thesz and pummeling Mascaras! Diamond Dynasty has taken over the match!!! Finally, Ezekiel Jackson is the last man to enter for the Black Army and he immediately goes on a tear - bench-pressing Alex Riley, body slamming Bruno Sammartino and gorilla press-slamming Lou Thesz. Ezekiel Jackson is portrayed as an unstoppable monster, even launching Jack Swagger completely over the ropes into the second ring! Primo Carnera enters last for Team Sammartino to arguably the loudest pop of the night, and he immediately clocks Demento with a KO punch and nearly clotheslines Jack Swagger’s head off. Finally he comes face to face with Ezekiel Jackson, and the fans salivate at the potential dream match. Carnera towers over Jackson, but Ezekiel’s massive muscle-bound frame more than compares to the giant “Ambling Alp”. It’s the irresistible force meeting the immovable object as these two freaks of nature clash in the center of the ring! The MIZ is the final entrant into the bout, and the “Match Beyond” has officially begun. The cage roof lowers slightly, putting the weapons into scalable reach. Steel chairs, chains, barbed-wire bats and other tools of destruction dangle dangerously from the roof. Madness officially reigns. Blood flows freely, steel chairs are dented over skulls, and the action even spills OUTSIDE the cage when Carnera and Ezekiel Jackson go literally tumbling THROUGH the cage door! Rogers winds up trying to flee from Thesz and Sammartino so much, he actually climbs UP the cage walls to escape and ends on the roof!!! Thesz and Mascaras follow him up and now he’s trapped! Thankfully, he’s quickly rescued by Alex Riley – but as the 4 men brawl on the roof – Alex Riley actually gets pitched OFF the cage roof by Thesz and Mascaras through a set of wooden tables on the floor in a HELLACIOUS bump!!! Crowd goes crazy at the impact. It’s topped shortly thereafter, when Mil Mascaras actually launches himself off the roof of the cage like a bird of prey and takes out the entire Black Army and MIZ with a flying body press!!! The slow-motion highlight of him soaring two stories off the roof of the cage will be played on XPW TV introductions for months to come. Match ends with only Sammartino and Rogers actually left IN the ring (everybody else has broken free of the cage or is brawling in the 2nd ring). Sammartino has Rogers in his over-the-shoulder-back breaker and he is about to submit, when the Miz suddenly blasts Sammartino from behind with a wicked steel chair shot. Sammartino is victimized by a Skull-Crushing Finale and cinched in a Figure-4. But muthaphuckkin LIZZY BORDEN skirts into the ring to break up the move and argue with the Diamond Dynasty! Rogers and Miz angrily advance upon her until she backs into Jack Swagger standing behind her. Swagger actually back suplexes the bitch right out of the ring!!! The Diamond Dynasty then turn their attention to an outnumbered Kevin Sullivan, who quickly sizes up his situation, before tossing Damien Demento to the Dynasty on the sacrificial tip!!! Sullivan flees the ring as Rogers, Miz and Swagger triple-team Demento! He winds up tapping out to the Nature Boy’s Figure-4 leglock!!! Damien Demento quits! THE DIAMOND DYNASTY WINS THE MATCH!!!! Winners: DIAMOND DYNASTYThe Diamond Dynasty owns the XPW TV Title and all the World Title shots!!!_____________________________________________________________

"The Match Beyond"WCW presents "Fall Brawl: War Games" Season Two (click here)WARGAMES THE MATCH BEYOND 4 on 4 Survive or Surrender! Team HHH Triple H, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, Marty Jannetty! vs Team HBK Shawn Michaels, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and Mystery Partner! Here comes Marty Jannetty he comes out first for his team here. This is like Wargames 1998 where every man will have to make an entrance to get into the cage. Marty comes into the cage and he looks ready for his former partner, and friend to make his entrance. Marty is going into Ring 2, so Shawn will have to make it across a ring to get to him. Marty is pushing on the cage as the crowd is chanting VERY LOUD for HBK! They don't have to wait too long as the theme hits and here comes Shawn Michaels the former WCW Heavyweight Champion, and now a man that is out for revenge. Marty is just waiting, and here comes Shawn Michaels he gets to the cage and enters the ring. Shawn enters the cage and here comes Marty he loses his focus and just comes right at Shawn. He is beating him down in the corner of the ring. Marty is choking Shawn, and just letting him have it. Marty takes a step back to taunt the crowd but that is a mistake as Shawn comes charging and gives him a lou thesz press. Shawn is raining down some major right hands, as Marty is now taking the beating. Shawn grabs Marty and tosses him right into the cage. Shawn goes off the ropes and nails him with a diving forearm. Shawn goes off the second rope and he drops a leg drop from the second rope! Shawn picks up Marty but this time Marty with a low blow to Shawn. Marty grabs Shawn and screams "What about me! What about The Rockers!" Marty grabs Shawn and throws him into the turnbuckle face first. Marty climbs the second rope and starts throwing right hands on him. Instead of hitting ten and dropping down. Marty begins biting at the forehead of Shawn Michaels. Marty picks up Shawn and goes for a suplex, but Shawn goes over the shoulder and he goes for a belly to back suplex, but Marty flips over the shoulder of Shawn and when he turns around SUPERKICK! Marty just laid out Shawn Michaels, and nowhere for him to go. Shawn is laid out, and we see Marty Jannetty is just beating down Shawn. Marty picks him up and goes to toss him into the cage, but Shawn counters though and throws him into the cage. Shawn goes for a lou thesz press again, but Marty catches Shawn and holds him in the air for a few seconds but Shawn makes a counter and the fans explode when Shawn nails a nasty Tornado DDT, and spikes Marty's head right on the mat and the fans are chanting on. As we see them on the mat. We cut so a spilt feed and on the other screen we see the screen show the coin toss to who is going to come out next, and HHH says "Tails" and they look at the ground, and it comes out TAILS! TEAM HHH has the number advantage, and they get to bring out their next man! Here comes Billy Gunn! He comes charging down the ramp at full sprint, and he gets the cage door open, and Shawn who is on a knee gets nailed at full sprint with a FAMEASSER! Shawn is out like a light here, and Billy Gunn is putting the boots right to Shawn. Gunn picks up Shawn and lifts him in a Gorilla Press position and begins smashing the back straight into the top of the cage. Billy does that about three times before finally tossing Shawn like right into the cage wall. Marty is starting to get back to his feet, and they grab Shawn and drop him with a double suplex! Gunn picks up Shawn and throws him right into the cage wall, and Shawn takes a nasty bump into the cage. Billy Gunn and Marty are calling their shots here, as we get a close up on Shawn Michaels and he is bleeding pretty heavily across his face. Billy Gunn tells Marty to come off the top with a fist drop. Billy drops Shawn with a body slam as Marty grabs the top of the cage to keep his balance, but Shawn pushes Billy and Marty takes a spill off the top and crotches the top rope. Shawn with a stiff chop across the chest of Marty and he falls to the mat, as Shawn goes at Billy Gunn with some super stiff shots as the timer begins ticking down. Shawn is catching Billy off guard here, but is quickly hit with some super stiff knees to the stomach. Billy throws Shawn right into the cage again, but here we go.... Matt Hardy is about to even up the numbers here. He gets into the cage and instantly goes right after Billy Gunn with right hands. They are throwing bombs in the middle of the ring and ripping at each other's hair while throwing those shots. Marty gets involved and nails Matt Hardy with a double axe handle to the back. Billy Gunn grabs Matt and goes to toss him into the cage, but Matt counters and throws Billy Gunn right into the cage. Billy takes an awesome bump and looks staggered here, as Marty goes for another shot to Matt Hardy, but before he can Shawn takes Marty out with a diving forearm shot. Shawn is on the mat with Marty, and Shawn kips up which gets the crowd going. Billy turns around and Matt Hardy drops him with Side Effect! Shawn is kipped back to his feet here and is at the corner and he begins stomping the foot. He is waiting for either Billy or Marty to get up here. Shawn finishes off the stomp here. He throws the Sweet Chin Music and he lays out Marty Jannetty! Shawn is getting this crowd into a frenzy here, as Matt Hardy looks ready for more. He has Marty pressed against the cage, as Shawn picks up Billy Gunn but is met with a back body drop, and Shawn lands in the crack between the two rings. Shawn is holding his back and slides into Ring 2, as the rest are inside Ring 1. Billy Gunn sees Matt has Marty pressed against the cage and comes from behind with a rake against the eyes. Billy grabs Matt by his his hair, but Matt slams Billy against the turnbuckle and drops him with a quick clothesline/bulldog combo! Matt is about to set up for the Twist of Fate as the timer begins ticking down. Billy is slow to get back to his feet, but Matt is still setting him up though. Here comes the other half of the the Tag Champs! Road Dogg charges down the ramp, and he goes right into the Ring 1. Matt instead of going after Billy kicks Road Dogg in the stomach, and sets him up, but Road Dogg counters and pushes Matt right into a dropkick from Billy Gunn! The Outlaws are punishing Matt Hardy in the time Road Dogg is in here. Inside Ring 2 Shawn Michaels has Marty against the cage and grinding his face against the cage! Shawn is unloading some serious chops on Marty Jannetty now. Matt Hardy gets dropped with a Spike Piledriver! Matt isn't moving as The Outlaws now go into Ring 2, and nail Shawn from behind and into the cage, and lay him out. They tell Marty to get into Ring 1 and go after Matt Hardy, but Marty is so obbsessed with Shawn he doesn't listen. They tell him to go or they will make him go. As they turn around Marty tells him to shove it, but he still goes over and goes after Matt Hardy. The Outlaws pick up Shawn and toss him into the roof of the cage, and send him crashing full speed onto the mat. Shawn is in a bad way, and so is Matt Hardy. The tag champs are in complete control here. Matt Hardy grabs the tights of Marty and slams him right into the middle turnbuckle. Marty gets planted with a Twist of Fate, and at the same time Shawn lays out Road Dogg with a desperation Sweet Chin Music! Gunn instantly jumps on Shawn and gives him a beatdown as Road Dogg is recovering in the corner. Shawn who is still a bloody mess can't even begin to fight back as that took a lot out of him. Billy Gunn who has had his fair share takes over Shawn and begins pressing him into a Camel Clutch position but he sits up a little bit and begins blasting him with some stiff shots. Matt Hardy goes over to ring two, but when he does Road Dogg pulls powder from his pocket and throws it right in his face! Matt is holding his eyes as Gunn quickly goes into Ring 1 and locks him in a Sleeper Hold! The timer begins ticking, as we have Shawn laid out in Ring 2 with Road Dogg pressing him against the cage, and Matt Hardy locked in a Sleeper Hold inside Ring 1 with Marty Jannetty still not moving. Jeff Hardy comes charging down the ramp, and he instantly sees Marty Jannetty agaisnt the turnbuckle and proceeds to nail him with the Hardyac Arrest! Marty who has been taking a beating all match continues to get one, as he is now pressed against the cage and isn't moving. Billy Gunn lets go of his hold and comes charging, but Jeff Hardy though drops him with a one arm Sleeper Slam! Jeff proceeds to climb the top rope and leaps off the top and nails Road Dogg with a crossbody! The fans are going crazy, as Jeff Hardy takes off his shirt and throws it against the cage! Jeff goes over to his brother to check on him. Marty goes over to try a sneak attack but it fails as Shawn comes into Ring 1 and drops him with a Reverse Atomic Drop. Marty is holding himself as he gets dropped with a Twist of Fate. Jeff climbs the top rope and drops him with a Swanton Bomb from the top rope. Team HBK for the first time really is in complete control right now. Road Dogg gets nailed with Poetry in Motion by The Hardy Boys! Billy Gunn gets nailed with a double leg drop. Shawn grabs Marty and locks him with his version of The Figure Four, Matt Hardy has Billy Gunn locked in an Arm Bar, as Jeff Hardy has The Spine Line locked in Road Dogg! All three men are tapping as the crowd is chanting on Team HBK, but now the real story begins. Team HHH is in trouble, but it's all about The Game and How you play it! As HHH's music hits and he is actually coming out before the buzzer but he doesn't care, and he isn't playing around as he has a SLEDGEHAMMER WITH HIM! Triple H comes out next and he has that Sledgehammer right with him. HHH comes down the ramp and takes off his jacket and throws his shirt into the crowd. The buzzer sounds while HHH is walking down the ramp, and he enters the ring with it. Jeff Hardy is the first to feel the effect as he comes charging but it's too late SLEDGEHAMMER TO THE SKULL! Matt Hardy gets nailed while his Armbar was still locked on! He lets go of the hold and tries to get up, but HHH with a shot straight to the downed Hardy. HHH makes his way right over to HBK, but he was ready though and rolls away from the shot. HBK is telling HHH to be a man and put the weapon down. HHH has a sadistic grin on his face and does just that he puts the hammer down and tells Shawn to get up and fight like a man. HBK comes charging at HHH but the 25 plus minutes inside the cage has effect on HBK, and he just gets destroyed by a vicious right hand. HHH picks up HBK and just drops him with another vicious right hand! Shawn gets back to his feet as HHH runs off the ropes and drops him with a Knee Smash! As Shawn is trying to fight back he gets nailed with a Spinebuster! Team HHH now own this Wargames, and you have to think can anybody bring Team HBK back into this match! The Outlaws are back to their feet, and they are basically just feeding The Hardys to HHH. They both get hit with vicious Pedigrees! The Hardys are laid out, and so is Shawn Michaels who is grabbing the leg of Triple H and basically telling him to do his worst. Triple H has a smile on his face and grabs Shawn by his hair, and tells him point blank "GAME OV......UGH!!!!!" SHAWN WITH A LOW BLOW! Billy Gunn comes charging SWEET CHIN MUSIC! ROAD DOGG WITH A RIGHT HAND IT'S DUCKED SWEET CHIN MUSIC! MARTY COMES CHARGING SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND FINALLY TRIPLE H....COUNTERS THE SWEET CHIN MUSIC AND PEDIGREE!!!!!! The fans are going crazy here, as Team HHH is in control all thanks to HHH and his Pedigree. The Timer begins counting down, and HHH is watching up the ramp as it ticks down. HHH looks kinda worried, but the final buzzer sounds....NOBODY IS COMING OUT! HHH is laughing and smiling, as the referee finally announces THE MATCH BEYOND BEGINS SUBMIT OR SURRENDER! Triple grabs his Sledgehammer and walks over to Shawn Michaels and begins choking him out with it, but the lights begin to dim, and the lights are out! You can hear the crowd buzzing, and the fans GO INSANE when in the ring is................... STING IS BACK AND HE HAS A BALLBAT TO THE THROAT OF HHH! The crowd is a frenzy as HHH begins backing up, and Sting is forcing HHH to leave the cage. HHH is heading up the ramp throwing a fit the whole time, but Sting is here, and the message is clear! STING IS THE SAVIOR OF WCW! Sting rids HHH out through the curtain, but inside the ring. HBK who has no energy and probably has no idea what just happen locks on a Reverse Figure Four on Marty Jannetty and HE SURRENDERS! TEAM HBK HAS WON IT WITH HELP FROM STING! Your Winners TEAM HBK! {The cameras fade with the cage being lifted and HBK with The Hardys making their way up the ramp with the bloody Shawn Michaels being helped to the back. The bigger story what is going to happen with Sting. He never said a word, but forced HHH to leave Wargames and abandon his team! WHAT IS GOING ON IN WCW!} *END*

"War to Settle the Score"BCCW presents "(Another) Scene of the Crime" Season Two (click here)** Main Event **WAR GAMES ** For control of BCCW! Loser Leaves Town Match!! **THE UNION versus THE ILLUMINATI versus Battles raged... WWE vs BCCW: Battleground (Civil War) ** Mash-Up Wrestling Instant Access (click here) **Kingdoms razed... BCCW TV Episode #28 (Halloween in Hell 3) ** Mash-Up Wrestling Instant Access (click here) **Now WAR GAMES awaits... Steel cage matches have always been a brutal, bloody part of pro wrestling history. WAR GAMES takes that concept to the gladiatorial extreme. One of the most critically-acclaimed of all WWE DVD releases was "War Games: WCW's Most Notorious Matches", a collection of those encounters. It is remembered in crimson shades of rosy red by those who witnessed them, and remain a staple in fantasy warfare. But this is Mash-Up Wrestling, so it would be too easy to give WWE/WCW War Games that much credit. Instead, we pull from *all* influences.
TNA Lockdown, XPW Genocide (worst "War Games" match ever... "WCW War Games 2000" was better), RoH vs CZW, Cage of Death... even our own beloved BCCW history. War Games has been the be-all/end-all of feud-ending problem solving. Tonight, it solves the greatest problem of all - the ownership struggle between President Paul Bowser and members of the Northeast Illuminati branch. WAR GAMES for control of Broken City Championship Wrestling! It's going down!! Despite all these wrestling DVD and movie references, the one thing I want to rely on most of all in this chapter is a basketball book. That is, *THE* basketball book. "The Book of Basketball" by Bill Simmons. Why a basketball book? Because in it, he discusses "the secret" to a successful *team* - which in itself, is really no *secret* at all when you understand it. Point being? The bad guys here representing the Illuminati don't get "the secret". On paper, Commissioner HHH has constructed the *GREATEST HEEL TEAM of ALL TIME* (discuss among yourselves). Himself, the master, overlord & Authority of fantasy wrestling. Hollywood Hulk Hogan fresh off his remarkable run on top as WORLD champion. Ric Flair & Arn Anderson representing premium 4Horsemen excellence. Jeff Jarrett, founder of TNA & Global Force. But with all this firepower, what's the one thing missing on Team Illuminati? Chemistry. The bad guys got it all mixed up. The constant bickering, in-fighting, one-upsmanship and raging EGO has combined to produce a negative effect. As opposed to the "Union", who finds their mojo soaring and exceeding expectations where mere talent may not have been enough. Cena leads by example, Commissioner HHH leads by design. Tonight those blueprints clash and the results are epic level. When Rob Van Dam (2006) and Jeff Jarrett (2006) start out for their respective teams it is reflected upon by commentators the result of steady fan voting for RVD (a prelude to the "YES! Movement" if there ever were one) - and the immediate impact Jeff Jarrett has had in BCCW, despite not being fully trusted by the WWE Regime. Commissioner HHH is next for Team Illuminati (who won a rigged coin toss) to double-team RVD and draw the ire of the fans. But already HHH & JJ are showing signs of discord (each one refusing to kowtow to the other). John Cena (2014) is out to even the odds for his team, under the auspices of "captain goes down with the ship". In fact he would have started this match, if not for RVD's fervent insistence. Commentators also rehash a running theme of this evening, which is "who will be the 5th member of the Union???" Still no developments on that, though word has been received the mystery man IS in the building. With Cena & RVD gaining momentum, we get the spoiler Arn Anderson to break things up. Battle swings back in favor of the Illuminati 3-on-2. Arn tries to play middleman, but HHH & JJ are really exchanging words here - each blaming the other for RVD & Cena's surge. Backstage, cameras catch members of President Paul Bowsers administration watching on anxiously in one room - while Illuminati VP Sheldon Goldberg and other evil ilk are seen doing the same in another. The world has seemingly stood still to witness this clash of armies. Finally the "Pale Swordsman" Sheamus (2012) cuts in for the Union and all hell breaks loose. Already on a warpath due to the events of the Casey/Lesnar & Muldoon/Wyatt matches from earlier, Sheamus busts heads with steel cage shots and turns the bad guys black & blue with clubbing forearms! Sheamus in a rage! Business is really starting to pick up when the clock ticks down and da MAN RIC FLAIR makes his diamond-studded entrance! About 10,000 "WHOOOOOOO"s go off in the arena. Flair makes sure everybody on his team realizes he is there to save the day, and goes to work on Cena & Sheamus in particular. Flair is a former WWE Mash-Up Wrestling champion, BCCW Heavyweight champion and the man responsible for ending John Cena's title reign! (before Cena reclaimed his gold @ "Night of Champions 4"). Illuminati are stomping the union 4-3, but with JJ arguing with HHH arguing with Flair it is only a matter of time before combustible materials explode. Ultimately - batting clean up for the Union - ANDRE the GIANT makes his titanic entrance! The roof nearly blows off the building (from the fans) AND the cage (from Andre bench-pressing Jarrett into it)! The big man gets his few moments of shine to mow down the Illuminati one-after-the-other, like a line of dominoes. With the final buzzer sounding, Hollywood Hogan marks the final entrant for Team Illuminati. With his leadership (and brass knuckles/handcuffs combination) the Illuminati manage to gang-tackle Andre and hog-tie him to the ropes - helpless to aid his team, and bleeding profusely from the head. It's basically 5-on-3 for the Illuminati as the clock climatically counts down... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1! First silence, and anticipation... Then - a wildly familiar theme song... Enter former BCCW Legendary Superstar, Hall-of-famer and *CURRENT WWE Mash-Up Wrestling CHAMPION* BRUNO SAMMARTINOAwwwwww yea. The big bad Bruno-daddy himself. His history with XPW Remixed/BCCW is intertwined beyond belief - and after serving penance in fantasy-wrestling Ravenloft (XPW Remixed) he was released back onto the prime material plane where he was christened "WWE Hall of Famer". After his triumphant return to WWE, Sammartino went on to WIN the title once more in a tournament to crown a new champion. Sammartino was on the losing side of one of these wars before (see "WWE vs BCCW: Battleground Civil War) - but now he comes full-circle for revenge. The President Paul Bowser Administration surprise addition: BRUNO FN SAMMARTINO!! With everybody from both sides officially in the rings, let the "MATCH BEYOND" begin!! Good teammates share the ball, deflect the glory and absorb the punishment. Tonight Team Illuminati is the *opposite* of that. Even with all their firepower they can't get on the same page. To continue the basketball metaphor, Bruno Sammartino is Willis Reed coming out for the Knicks in Game 7 of the 1970 NBA Finals. Bruno hits the first few shots of the match, but it's up to his teammates to carry the ball home. And what teammates they are - RVD soaring, Sheamus clubbering, Andre stomping (now freed after *snapping* the handcuffs in rage) and John Cena leading the charge! "Mash-Up Mayhem in Milwaukee"From AWA "Team Challenge Series" Season Two (click here)The “Canadian Enforcer”, Robert Roode, started off against Dick Murdoch, and the war was on. Murdoch could brawl with the best of them, and he felt at home inside the confines of the double cage – but Roode matched him punch for punch and eyerake for eyerake. Conditioning seemed to be no issue for either man, and they tore into each other for the entire five minute opening round, using both rings in the process. The action was intense, and even, until the first countdown. The HoRsemen won the coin flip, and Roode’s partner, James Storm, entered the fray. Beer Money quickly took advantage of Murdoch, and sent him flying into the steel mesh face-first, causing the first (bot not last) blood to be spilled. “Captain Redneck” fought back every time, creating space, targeting Roode as often as he could, but Roode and Storm were a well-oiled machine. At the next buzzer, Mike Awesome entered, and went immediately after Storm. Being the freshest man, Awesome took control, and soon the “Cowboy” was cut as well. In the other ring, Murdoch and Roode continued their fight. The HoRsemen got the numbers advantage back at the next buzzer, and Tully Blanchard leaped through the door and tackled Awesome. This allowed Beer Money to get together and take on the former ECW champion, while Blanchard kicked away at the weary Murdoch. Awesome was quickly cut open by the steel, as was Roode by this point. As the match went on, it looked much more like a streetfight than it did a wrestling match. Gary Hart sent in Big Van Vader at the next two-minute interval; he wanted the mastodon in there sooner than later. Enraged, Vader more than evened up the odds. He squashed everything in his path, flattening the three HoRsemen with clotheslines, forearms, and headbutts. If ever there was a wrestler bult for War Games, it was Vader. Beer Money frantically tried to slow him down, but to no avail, and the Gaijin Invasion re-established control during this period. The last HorSeman, Edge, entered the rings last for his squad. Vader found him, though, and cornered him, mauling him with devastating forearms. As he slouched in the corner, Vader went to the opposite corner and got a running start for a big splash – but the “Rated-R Superstar” met his charge with a pilfered chain he wrapped around his fist. Dillon smiled as Edge took control of the dazed Vader, and pounded on his forehead on the mat. Finally, the AWA TV champ, the Great Muta, made his way in, and The Match Beyond was on. The only way to beat the opposing team was to cause one of its members to submit, or to knock him out. Muta was met at the door by Blanchard and Storm, and he blinded them both with green mist. As they rubbed their eyes, the champ kicked and chopped them down. The action could barely be contained by the two rings. It was a violent brawl, and every man took an ungodly amount of punishment in order to dish the same out. None of them left the cages without some sort of wound, while Dillon, Hyatt, and Hart stood by just a few feet away. Ultimately, though, someone had to lose. While Beer Money squared off against Awesome and Murdoch, and Edge and Muta traded blows, Vader was isolated with Blanchard. He used his muscle to slam the Texan to the mat, then locked on a crippling camel clutch, wrenching back with over 400 pounds of bodyweight. Blanchard hung in for several seconds, but had no choice but to submit, nearly passing out from the pain. Winners: The Gaijin Invasion, 24:18.

** BLU-RAY EXTRAS!! **From XPW Remxied presents "Scene of the Crime" (click here)** WAR GAMES **SHANE DOUGLAS ©, CHYNA, AD SANTEL, HAKUSHI KURO & JON MOXLEY Versus MIZ ©, HUMAN TORNADO, MILDRED BURKE, SHEAMUS & WILLIAM MULDOON Versus Scott: Decent enough with a lot of guys, albeit unknown guys. This match was laid out to get Sheamus over as a babyface and to continue Shane Douglas’ path to his ultimate goal. Shane’s team was full of pretty jacked up guys, but unfortunately Chyna like dead weight out there in terms of the crowd. Muldoon hadn’t been seen since his face run earlier in the year and Human Tornado was completely new. So the crowd really didn’t give them much heat. Miz is the transitional Champion for Douglas, thus the reason Shane gets the final pin in the match against him. Mildred Burke looked pretty good as always, even getting the Judo Champion Ad Santel to tap. I wonder if the original plan was for Hakushi Kuro to eventually face Thesz for the XPW Title and not what did end up happening. Regardless it gave the crowd something to cheer about. I wonder if Moxley was being pushed down a bit, as he did get two pins but ended up eating a Brogue Kick and wasn’t a factor in the final decision. Shane Douglas, who was starting to gain a following based on the myriad of signs in the crowd, gets the final pin as he and Lizzy Borden stand tall. Either way starts off inspiring. Grade: 4Justin: The Miz/Douglas war rages on here as both men enlisted some interesting partners to back them up. William Muldoon had been on the shelf for over a year and was simply looking for revenge on Hakushi Kuro for putting him there. ”The Solid Man” William Muldoon would snap immediately, just like the old days. Despite being ejected from the cage, Human Tornado was far from done. Chyna would also go down meekly and it is clear that his push was starting to evaporate as the year winds down. As usual with these matches, we got some quick moves that get into a good flow. The fans were really into Human Tornado here and you can see why they turned him into a main eventer He also projected a good image and was believable hanging with the big boys in the match. He seemed more in line than with the lower tier guys. Sheamus was crisp and aggressive as always, shredding through his opponents and looking like a star. Jon Moxley had a good look to him but I think he was in over his head here as he looked lost for most the match. Miz gets a strong spurt but I think he was banged up again at this point and they were trying to protect him. In a way it felt like Miz was being pushed back a level so Douglas and Sheamus could shine as the fresh stars. Burke’s big feat would be forcing Ad Santel to tap out cleanly (but it was before everyone entered the ring, so it didn’t count). You could tell Shane Douglas was being primed for a big push. Sheamus was equally pushed hard as he dropped Moxley with an epic Brogue Kick and was left standing with Douglas taking out Miz The match was good and it truly felt like a changing of the guard on the top of the card. Grade: 4.5Winner: TEAM DOUGLAS** CUT ** _______________________________________________________________________________________________CREDITS:SCOTT & JUSTIN: Survivor Series 2003

This is a novel concept in theory, and pretty darn good in execution. Taken out of context, some of these matches and participants are hit-or-miss but overall it tells a very good story without committing match overkill. I'm interested to see how far you can take this feature, and what other themed discs you can create that pulls from the infinite mash up library. Good job, sir.
