Pyro! Loud music! Crazy fans!** CUT 2 RING ** _________________________________________________________EDDIE & ALEXXIS vs. IVAN & LANA (Mixed Tag Team Bout) vs. What may be considered controversial or taboo among other promoters & messageboards, is wholly endorsed in BCCW. The mixing of heroic chromosomes knows no boundaries. Otherwise there would be no Xena, Wonder Woman or Sexxy Star. In BCCW cannon, Alexxis Nevaeh is the original Woman's wrestler. She debuted on our very 1st show back in 2009 called "Respect The Shooters" [Season One]. Her greatest highlight of 2015 [Season Seven] came when she defeated Rick "the Model" Martel in an Intergender Catchweight bout at the Brockton Fairgrounds the night before our biggest show of the year. Tonight, she is the bouncing magnetic Joshi warrior that captivates the heart & mind of the normally-subdued Japanese fans. Her IRL-partner Eddie Edwards is workhorse of the bout, putting over his "Diehard" persona by absorbing a wicked oversized beating at the hands of burly Ivan Koloff. This bout is a culmination of their Season 7 mini-feud that sees Heavyweight Ivan ultimately putting over the Middleweight champion Eddie Edwards. Alexxis shows no fear (how American!) even in the intimidating face of Ivan, and Edwards rallies back for the hard-fought win! It ends Season 7 on a high-note for both of them, especially Eddie who finally won the Middleweight Championship at "November 2 Remember" after years of pursuit. "Diehard" & Alexxis are the 1st Couple of BCCW! Winners: EDDIE & ALEXXIS** Postmatch victory celebration / commentator hype ** _________________________________________________________DEMON KANE vs. MIL MUERTES (w/ Catrina) (Horrorcore Heavyweight Bout) w/ vs. w/ A perverse Dream Match in the Horror-movie vein. 1997 WWF vs. 2015 Lucha Underground. Mil Muertes debuted in BCCW with a victory in our brutal "Slaughtahouse Stampede" match and (along with the vixen Catrina) has hypnotized the competition. But immune to those mind games is our opponent for the evening, the diabolical "Professor" Sheldon Goldberg and his Demon Kane. Both manager & Demon are renowned for their unholy actions, such as battling Crusher Casey in an Inferno Match or crippling Andre the Giant when he tried to break away from them. Tonight they will all walk through Hell and pay for their sins. Catrina shows no fear from the stalking Demon Kane, while portly Professor Goldberg is clearly terrified of Muertes. Round and round the Heavyweights go, with a notable spot occurring as Muertes muscled *out* of a Kane chokeslam attempt, and answered with one of his own! In the end, consider this a commercial for Lucha Underground. If you haven't seen it yet, do it. Because - as stated in the bylines - BCCW is the cinematic version of an Irish Lucha Underground. Mil Muertes reverses into his *own* Tombstone piledriver (actually his *2nd* of the match to Kane) to finally keep the big red monster down. Winner: MIL MUERTESMil Muertes scares Professor Goldberg right out of the building, while Catrina *licks* Kane's face!
But Kane suddenly snaps to life & sits up, *grabbing* Catrina around her throat in chokeslam position! They make eye contact and she basically *dares* him to do it! So Kane lifts her high in the air, but before he can chokeslam her he is attacked from behind by Mil Muertes. The demon of Death winds up "burying" Kane and sending him packing from the building in a coffin.** CUT 2 Video recap & commentator summary / "Montreal Mafia" video package ** _________________________________________________________MVP (2105) versus "French Lion" YVON ROBERT (1945) (Heavyweight Grudge Match) versus "Montreal Mafia". Two of the most chilling words in the entire Mash-Up Wrestling vernacular. They are an International off-shoot of the Illuminati that held BCCW hostage in 2015 and nearly drove President Paul Bowser from Boston forever. The Montreal Mafia started in AGPW when "Le Lion" (the Godfather) took the International Heavyweight Championship. They migrated to BCCW when ex-Commissioner MVP revealed himself as their Investor and brought them ashore. From there, "Le Lion" quickly overtook the BCCW Heavyweight division and put a chokehold on the Championship. Their union officially soured when the Montreal Mafia lost their "Banned in Boston" Best of 7 Series and MVP conspired to have Le Lion *deported* back to Canada! Since their dissolution, MVP has formed the "Beat Down Clan" (partially for his own protection) and has refused to enter Montreal Canada. The recent leg injury suffered by MVP (that took him out of active BCCW competition for months) is rumored to be the result of a long-distance "hit" by Le Lion. Now, these two rival forces finally go head-to-head on foreign soil. Ain't the Yakuza happy. Match is a Mash-Up of UFC 194 (Weidman vs Rockhold *and* McGregor vs Aldo). "Weidman vs Rockhold" in that both men put a tremendous strong-style beating on each other, but it ends in exciting & emphatic "McGregor vs Aldo" fashion with a quick finish! In this case, after dodging pipe-wielding interference from BDC members (Kenny King & Low-Ki), Le Lion snaps in a quick "Kata ha jime" for the immediate submission! MVP is tapping out frantically! Doesn't matter! French Lion doesn't release the hold until he's good & ready (and MVP is a limp, lifeless pile on the mat!) WAR! Winner (via submission): YVON "French Lion" ROBERT** Cut to replay / commentator summary / BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champion THE NEW DAY in-ring promo ** _________________________________________________________** #1 Contender Match **HOUSTON HEAT vs. BEER MONEY INC. vs. DOOM (w/ Woman) (BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Triple Threat) vs. versus w/ While the Fabulous Freebirds are still regarded as the 1st true "6-Man Tag Team" in Mash-Up Wrestling history, the actual 6-Man Tag Team Titles weren't created until the end of Season Four. A team known as "Truly Bad Intentionz" brought the concept to Boston and it has been a staple of the company ever since. The titles had their ups (LOD + Ultimate Warrior) and downs (Love Bros), but there are many fans who claim the 6-Man division has never been better than it is today. No less than 3 historic teams of the past stand at the precipice of title contention tonight, with their eyes on the prize. The *present* of Tag Team wrestling - The New Day. Speaking of which, our reigning 6-Man Tag Team champions (Langston / Xavier / Kofi) join us on guest-commentary tonight for this #1 Contenders match. Incredible bout that gives every team a chance to shine, and The New Day plenty of opportunity to get their shtick over on commentary. In the end, after victory is seemingly theirs, JBL & Beer Money are jumped & ransacked by the WYATT FAMILY! Big pop for the bizarre BCCW babyfaces as they target corporate greed & American tyranny on New Years night! Bray Wyatt & his Family take Beer Money *out* of the match, allowing for the eventual finish. Doom 2.0 finish LAX Hernandez with a double-spinebuster / standing moonsault (from Apollo Crews) combo. Even after Xavier Woods tries to get his trombone off, Doom 2.0 clear the ring and have the fans salivating for another round of their championship feud with New Day! Winners: DOOM 2.0** Cut to replay / Doom 2.0 victory promo (challenging The New Day) / video package on the Roman Reigns "heel-turn" in BCCW **_________________________________________________________ROMAN REIGNS (Heel) vs. NIKITA KOLOFF (Heavyweight Grudge Match) versus Roman Reigns returned to BCCW in 2015 (after a previous minor role here as Dean Ambrose's bodyguard) and was immediately pushed to the top as a vanilla babyface. But for some reason, that act failed to get over in BCCW (where John Cena already has that market cornered). So it's time for a reboot, and Roman Reigns officially "turned heel" on his SHIELD-like brethren Nikita Koloff to set off on his own. Word to Jim Ross, who also believes Reigns should have had a strong solo Heel run before his title coronation. So here we go. The BCCW "heel" incarnation of Roman is akin to Big Daddy Cool Diesel circa 1996. Too big, too cocky, "I'm not a rapper I'm a trapper"-type. The coolest jock douche in the locker room. Reigns is here to cash-in, not for the "love" of the game. Contrast that with 1986ish-era Patriot Nikita Koloff, who fights more for honor, legacy & tradition than he does titles or money! This is another huge Heavyweight slobberknocker that the fans in Japan absolutely love! Two Godzillas rampaging through Tokyo! Watch out now! Shades of Alistair Overeem & Junior Dos Santos slugging it out at UFC on Fox (12/19/15)! Nikita continued to land stiff shots to the body, and was able to keep Roman grounded for most of the match. But when Nikita allowed Reigns to gather some momentum off the ropes, it was a fatal mistake. Reigns loaded up the heavy artillery (with the normally docile Japanese crowd booing his every move), hit a Superman punch out of nowhere (off a "Russian Sickle" counter) and BLASTS Nikita with a spear in the middle of the ring! 1! 2! 3! Ooooo a hush falls over the building. Roman Reigns has shut up the entire crowd! Reigns brushes off his post-fight victory promo with Renee Young, and haughtily dismisses the youngsters clamoring for fistbumps & autographs! Roman Reigns is the Lone Wolf of the BCCW Heavyweight division and he won't let anything stand in his way to the top! Winner: ROMAN REIGNS ** Cut to commentators disappointed reaction / standing ovation for Nikita from the fans / 2015 Year-End AWARD CEREMONY hype! **_________________________________________________________

** #1 Contender Match **BOBBY LASHLEY (2015) vs. FRANK SEXTON (1945) (Heavyweight Bout) versus Both men are BCCW staples who share some basic timeline similarities. Size-wise (for the era) they are comparable, and both have a solid fanbase. Bout starts out mimicking their 1st encounter (from MBV5 [click here]), with Lashley proving to be *bigger / stronger / faster* than Sexton in almost every exchange. Sexton is the old dog being given a whipping at the hands of a younger lion. But tides begin to turn when, after weathering a tremendous beating, Sexton begins to return fire on the visibly-tiring Lashley! Lashley came out blasting fast & early but when he couldn't finish Sexton off immediately, exhaustion set in! Now Sexton looks like the Depression-era hero who can take a licking and keep on ticking. This is 5-rounds worth of MMA-styled pounding reminiscent of "Lawler vs. Condit" from UFC 195. Much like the incumbent Welterweight champion there (Lawler), Powerhouse Sexton shows how "ruthless" he is by pouring it on hard in the last 90 seconds or so! Lashley can't recover! Body check! Giant swing! "Sedalis Cyclone" finisher! 1! 2! 3! Winner: POWERHOUSE SEXTON!!Postmatch, after some hostile teases (but with the crowds full blessing), Lashley accepts Sexton's handshake of mutual respect! Pride! Dignity! Power! The BCCW-way! ** Commentator recap & summary / 2015 Award Ceremony hype / "Best of the Best 2015" Video package ** _________________________________________________________** "Best of the Best 2015" FINALS ** TYLER BREEZE (AGPW) vs. DAVEY RICHARDS (BCCW) versus This is the culmination of our annual "Best of the Best" Flyweight Invitational Tourney. Tyler Breeze (representing everything BCCW loyalists *hate* about AGPW) has skyrocketed to the top of public consciousness stateside after his impressive tournament showing. His opponent tonight ("American Wolf" Davey Richards) *is* BCCW, where his torrid run in the Flyweight division has stepped up everybody's workrate. Meanwhile - reigning record-holding Flyweight Champion himself, Adam Cole [2016] takes up guest commentary duty at ringside (with his ever-present cougar valet SABLE 2003). After the first lock-up we spring immediately into action. Arm-wrench / roll-through counter / leg sweep / standing moonsaults / back flips / dueling dropkicks / mid-air stand-off / Mat stalemate. Davey Richards turns up the intensity with his shoot-style kicks & strikes, but it only serves to highlight the inherent toughness of Tyler Breeze even more. This match proves, that despite the purple tights & feathery boots, Tyler Breeze is a mans-man in the ring! Back and forth they go, escalating to planchas & suicide dives! This match is the high-speed alternative to the string of Heavyweight bouts we've seen tonight. It's close, but in the end Davey Richards shows an intensity that consumes Tyler Breeze - burning him with a double-foot stomp off the top rope for the pin! Crowd goes wild! Pyro, streamers and confetti cover the ring! Davey Richards has won the "BoB2015" Trophy! But see the utter hate and *jealousy* in Flyweight Champion Adam Cole's eyes as he watches on! That's HIS trophy! Winner (and "Best of the Best 2015" Trophy Winner): "American Wolf" DAVEY RICHARDS!! Crowning BCCW moment. But amid the pomp & circumstance lurks a bitter, vindictive man. Flyweight Champion Adam Cole interrupts the trophy presentation ceremony to staredown Davey Richards eye-to-eye. Is there a flicker of mutual respect there? It appears Cole may award the 2015 trophy to Davey Richards himself (after *stealing* the BoBIV Trophy last Tournament edition). A sincere moment of sportsmanship among two men. But NO! That bitch Sable cuts in with a *lowblow* to Davey Richards from behind! BIGTIME boos! A dishonorable, treacherous act! Immediately the heat is right back on Adam Cole & his Mount Rushmore of Mash-Up Wrestling stable (by association)! They are the dirtiest players in the game and are proving it again! Their crown prince Adam Cole executes a violent beatdown on Davey Richards, that requires the interference of dozens of security officials & referees. Finally, in the segments last heinous act, Adam Cole & Sable *SMASH* the precious "BoB2015" Trophy to pieces in front of the unconscious Davey Richards! BOO! BCCW Flyweight Champion Adam Cole [2016] makes sure he is still the center of all attention!!
** cut to disgusted commentator recap / Flair & Sheamus video package / promo from Sheamus / interview with FLAIR **_________________________________________________________** WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP **RIC FLAIR (1987) © vs. SHEAMUS (2015) versus Entrance & Theme of BCCW Television Champion SHEAMUS (2015). Commentators recap his decision to put UP his TV title if he loses tonight (and credit Strangler Lewis for the manipulation). But wait! Sheamus isn't alone tonight! Enter "KING" WADE BARRETT (2016) by his side! A virtual "league of nations" to watch his back! Business is about to pick up in Japan tonight! Magnificent Entrance & Theme of RIC FLAIR (1987) w/ his JJ Dillon-like advocate Strangler Lewis by his side. Flair is once again an unprecedented *DOUBLE* champion in Mash-Up Wrestling, having recently captured the International Heavyweight crown to go along with his Undisputed WORLD title! There is NO doubt that Ric Flair is *THE MAN* to end the Mash-Up Wrestling 2015 calendar year! Lengthy feeling-out process to start, with Sheamus trying to track Flair down with strikes & kicks but Flair staying out of reach and infuriating Sheamus (and the fans) further. Both Wade Barrett (Sheamus) and Strangler Lewis (Ric Flair) are a constant brooding presence at ringside. When Sheamus finally gets his hands on Flair, it's pinball-city. Up, down, off the top and over the ropes goes WORLD Champion Ric Flair! Strangler Lewis wants to regroup but the "league of nations" won't let him, and Flair is back in the ring. He tries begging off, and finally succeeds in driving Sheamus to his knees with a low blow from behind. Chopping block, grapevine & spinning toehold. Flair is going to school on the legs of Sheamus, softening up for the Figure 4-Leglock. Commentators recap Flair's incredible run to close the year, including his victory for the International Heavyweight (a Canadian championship) in Boston MA just a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, scattered cheers for Flair are turning into a tidal wave of boos for Sheamus (who is quickly becoming the official "Heel" of this bout). Sheamus fights back, and while distracting the ref - Wade Barrett sneaks in for a "Bullhammer" to Flair's FACE that quickly splits him open! It's official - Flair is now the bloody "babyface" on a comeback trail, while still fighting dirty as ever! Sheamus takes over with some heavy brawling, but his leg is clearly ravaged. The closest fall of the night comes when Sheamus buckles on a "Brogue Kick" attempt and gets school-boy rolled by Flair for the pin! Eventually, the brawl spills outside and Strangler Lewis gets involved to great fan acclaim! The fans are going ballistic as a 4-way slobberknocker emerges before their eyes! Wade Barrett hits Strangler from behind with a "Bullhammer" (big boos for that cowardly tactic), and Flair is enraged! He tackles Barrett from behind and continues pummeling him! All the while the referee has continued his count! Oh no! Sheamus rolls back into the ring at the count of 7! 8! 9! 10! Flair has been counted out for his bloody assault upon King Barrett at ringside! "Winner" (by countout): SHEAMUSBut *still* WORLD Champion: RIC FLAIR ©!! Flair and a now-recovered Strangler Lewis unite to drive the "League of Nations" from the ring and soak in the fan adulation for this evening. The Mash-Up Wrestling "Most Hated Man of the Year", RIC FLAIR, is getting a careers-worth of love & admiration from the Japanese fans tonight! If you're gonna do it - do it with Flair! WHOOOOOOOO!** cut to video recap / commentator summary / dueling John Cena & "Crusher" Casey promos RE: their Main Event clash... NEXT! ** _________________________________________________________** BCCW Heavyweight Championship **JOHN CENA (2015) © vs. STEVE "Crusher" CASEY (1945) versus This is it. The BCCW "big one". Our own little "ReMatch of the Century" taking place in the Land of the Rising Sun. Two Boston-area Legends sharing a Samurai code. Cena and Crusher have spent most of the year in tandem, driving back the foreign invaders at the gate (witness their epic wars with the Montreal Mafia). The 1st clash between them highlighted historic BCCW TV Episode #50, and precipitated a huge swing in popular fan sentiment (Crusher Casey became the "YES! YES! YES!" Man of BCCW, much like Daniel Bryan was for WWE & Mash-Up World Wrestling Federation). Co-main event feature that defies typical wrestling alignments (Flair vs. Sheamus was technically "heel vs. heel" while Cena vs. Crusher is "fan-favorite scientific wrestler" vs. the same). Both men are greeted with huge cheers upon their Entrance & Theme. Crusher Casey has alluded to this possibly being his last match if he can't get the job done tonight... After the huge MMA-intros and Pride entrances, both men are cautious to engage. Deep mutual respect leads to an extended feeling-out process, with lock-ups and other wrestler-related holds coming to a stalemate. So gradually they morph into more of a striking game, with Crusher Casey staying in the pocket and scoring with some good old fashioned jabs & punches. Cena fires back but the crowd is chanting "Crusher!" (sounds like "Croo-sher!") More counters from Casey and he takes over with a bodyslam and abdominal stretch. Cena lands some bodyshots, and runs Crusher through his sequence of moves leading to a "You Can't See Me!" fistdrop... but when Cena bounces off the ropes to complete the move, Crusher shoots to his feet and *catches Cena with his own FUAA* for a nearfall! A dueling "LET'S GO CENA! / CROO-SHER CASEY!" chant begins! A double shoulder-tackle spot leaves both men temporarily down. Cena gets to his feet first, but narrowly misses getting his head clipped off by a "Brogue Kick" from Crusher! Both men are smiling at each other at this point (Cena through a busted lip), as if to say "anything you can do, I can do better... so bring it on bitch!" Another slugfest erupts, and this time Cena overwhelms Crusher. One last desperation counter from Casey results in him getting trapped in John Cena's dreaded STFU! Right in the center of the ring! Will Crusher tap out?? NEVER! Fans are going crazy as Casey valiantly makes the ropes to force a break! Back and forth they continue to go. Everytime Cena lands a blow, Crusher responds with one in kind! Until Casey lands a twisting powerslam and messes up his shoulder! The pain is evident, but Crusher Casey perseveres! He isn't a world-class rower, Wrestling Champion or "Ireland's Greatest Athlete" for nothing! This entire match has been a thorough presentation of hustle, loyalty & respect within the hallowed confines of the squared circle. Much like the Sexton/Lashley bout earlier in the evening pit two timeline contemporaries in the same fashion, this Cena vs. Crusher match is another version of the "old lion vs. young pistol" theme. But in this case, the sun seems to be setting on a golden career. Casey fights valiantly through the pain, but with his shoulder severely hampered he misses an off-hand "Irish Sledge" attempt and lands squarely on Cena's massive shoulders for another FUAA! Bam! Casey crashes to the mat (shoulder-first!) where he remains stunned & motionless! 1! 2! 3! Cena wins! Cena wins! John Cena retains the Heavyweight Championship in a potential "Match-of-the-Year" candidate! Winner (and *still* Heavyweight Champion): JOHN CENA!Of course in a display of mutual respect, Cena shares the ring with Crusher - raises his (good) arm aloft in victory - and leaves the ring for Casey to get his (perhaps final) live standing ovation. Even through the haze of defeat, Crusher has lost absolutely nothing in the eyes of BCCW True Believers. If this is in fact Crushers final match, he certainly went out with a bang! Louder than the grand finale of fireworks heralding the start of our new year!Happy 2015! Welcome to 2016! The next chapter of our Mash-Up Wrestling saga starts NOW!! Stay tuned! ** FADE OUT **

The G5 Climax Zero was a great way to end the year. It had a solid line-up of matches from top-to-bottom. It is not often that one will say this, but I almost preferred a lot of the matches that were offered on the pre-show to the ones that were on the ppv. Of course, tastes will vary, but Hayabusa vs. Stardust, Orndorff vs. Owens, Breeze vs. Kidman and Itami vs. Richards is a solid line-up. If you're broke from giving too many Christmas gifts to your friends and family, then you got a lot of great matches for free.
The ppv itself was also solid. A lot of the outcomes were predictable, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. In my view, it isn't a bad thing because I think all of the right people went over. Eddie Edwards, Mil Muertes, Roman Reigns, Davey Richards and Ric Flair had to be winners. Those are the guys that are going to drive BCCW's business in the new year. I think the outcomes of the 6-Man Tag division triple threat, Lashley vs. Sexton and Cena vs. Casey could have gone either way and those are the matches that I would say there was no right or wrong choice for who should win.
It is no big surprised that Cena held onto the title. He is the heart and soul of BCCW. One could also say that Casey is just as responsible for the success of BCCW as Cena, but it seems to me that Cena has the edge over Casey in so far who is the top guy in the territory. Cena is the franchise player. There are few other guys that you can build an entire company around. It only makes sense that he should continue his title reign. What will be interesting to see is what happens with Casey next year. Was this match his swan song? Did he give Cena the ultimate rub on his way out? Or is he sticking around, and if so, what is next for him? This match seems like the perfect way to cap a long storied run with the company, which is what prompts me to ponder those questions.
Sheamus doesn't look bad in defeat. I could not see how he would win the Mash-Up World Heavyweight Championship. It doesn't seem like he's ready to make that leap to the next level. Having said that, his name deserves a place next to the ones I mentioned earlier as an important player and someone to watch in 2016. However, the outcome of the Flair vs. Sheamus match is the only one that I find odd in that Sheamus rolled into the ring to avoid getting counted out, but why did he stay in the ring to win it by countout? Did he forget that titles don't change hands that way? A countout victory hardly does anything for him. When the champion has no incentive to pick himself up off of the ground, the challenger must roll in and roll right back out to reset the count or else he has squandered his opportunity to win the prize. That was an odd ending to the match.
G5 Climax Zero was a great way to cap off a wonderful 2015. I look forward to seeing what great wrestling BCCW will bestow upon the Mash-Up Wrestling Universe in 2016.

I think Slade nailed it. Just so much good going on in BCCW. 2016 looks even better.

I'm going to agree with Slade, more or less, in that I thought the pre-show matches seemed superb and probably superior to a couple offered on the actual PPV. That being said, I had a thoroughly enjoyable read here, though I have a couple of qualms. I like Muertes, always have, but Kane is significantly bigger than him. While perhaps he could power his way out of a chokeslam, it would be awkward for a guy that's 6'01" to perform a Tombstone on a man that's very close to 7'00". However, that's about my only qualm here. I like what you're doing with Reigns, as it seems very sage. I liked Robert going over Lashley, and that was probably my favorite match of any of them offered here. Like Slade, I found the ending to Sheamus/Flair a little odd, but I'm just hoping it's leading to maybe some kind of gimmick match in the future. I think it creates more of a mind game than anything.
