Ring of Honor Releases Bullet Club Members, More Releases Coming? SuperCard II Rumours & MORE! (Monday, June 15th, 2020)
- Ring of Honor announced earlier today that they have come to terms on the release of 4 superstars, with 3 of them being members of Japan's nortourious Bullet Club stable. RoH did have plans to utilize the Bullet Club in their promotion, with looks of possibly running a SuperCard in Japan before COVID-19 travel restrictions shut down those plans. It would seem this also meant shuttign down plans to utilize the Bullet Club as well, with one source claiming the "Writing was on the wall" for the future of Bullet Club in RoH after KENTA's contract was traded to GWA in return for Cedric Alexander and Kip Sabian. Currently only El Phantasmo and Chase Owens remain with RoH, but there is no word on if RoH has any plans to use them as a team or not.
- Rumours have run rampant lately that numerous RoH superstars who have been underused since RoH's return from COVID-19 break have also reached out to management to learn what future plans hold for them, or request releases from the promotion. Notable names who appear to be upset at the current moment are two of the top talent in RoH's "Canadian Brand" Kenny Omega and Edge. Omega was reportedly not to thrilled to lose cleanly to Michael Elgin last week, and reportedly nixed a post match beatdown. Edge, who has been off television recently has been unhappy backstage as he's been stuck on the Canadian brand when he could be working along side the US stars in Chicago. For those unaware, Edge has a home in North Carolina and would be able to travel home if he elected to, but RoH have asked him to stay in Toronto in order to keep some star power on the Canadian portions of RoH Wrestling's weekly shows. It's been reported that Edge has requested to be allowed to move back with his family in the US, or to be released from his contract, which has placed RoH at quite an impass, which may be the reason for Michael Elgin's recent moster push to the top of the card.
- With Ring of Honor presenting SuperCard II next week, there are reports that the company will have a few surprises in store for the fans watchign at home, as RoH have reportedly acquired some exciting new stars that will potentially be making their RoH debuts next week in some fashion. Another name to look out for is Batista who is rumoured to be the mystery entrant in the Pure Championship Gauntlet Match.
- The current plan for the RoH Tag Team Championships has reportedly been leaked over the weekend. RoH Owner Eric Bischoff is reportedly set to announce he will be stripping Jay Lethal and Michael Elgin of the titles and awarding them to another active tag team as early as this week. The team rumoured to be named the new Champions would be the Motor City Machine Guns as RoH's tag team division has gone stale since the titles were first introduced. Plans could always change, but if rumours stay true, the Motor City Machine Guns vs. Age of the Fall match at SuperCard II could very well be a tag team championship match.
- Speaking of Championships, Keith Lee has reportedly been told to prepare for a longer program with Seth Rollins, as his title match next week is planned to be longer than the rumoured "One and done" that it had been billed as. Lee was originally looked at as a filler defense for Rollins who is in need of a new challenger now that Kurt Angle has moved on to a feud with Ken Kennedy, and it now appears that feud will be with Keith Lee. There are also rumours circling that Lee may not even get his shot at Rollins next week as RoH could be using Lee as a red herring.
RoH Presents: SuperCard II Friday, June 26th, 2020 Current Card:
Tag Team Match: Motor City Machine Guns vs. Age of the Fall
Singles Match: Bobby Lashley vs. Big Show
No Holds Barred Match: Kurt Angle vs. Ken Kennedy
7-Man Elimination Gauntlet: RoH Pure Championship Drew Gulak vs. Matt Taven vs. Trent Barretta vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Rhyno vs. ??? vs. ???
RoH World Heavyweight Championship Match: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Keith Lee

A few days ago on the latest episode of Championship Wrestling from Florida, a cameraman observed Percy Pringle III talking with Don Muraco and Bob Orton, Jr. Additional audio recovered earlier today revealed that the two men asked Pringle to manage them, but he turned down their request. However, there is speculation that the veteran manager has changed his mind with the announcement of a big six-man tag-team match on next week's show, featuring Razor Ramon, Mike Graham, and Steve Keirn against Orton, Muraco, and the CWF Florida Heavyweight champion, Rick Rude!

IPW NEWS
With the tightening of regulations on sporting events and gatherings in general, IPW has decided to make some changes in their presentation, booking and overall strategy of their promotion.
Singles matches will now be exclusive in IPW. All matches will continue to have no disqualifications, but if a wrestler is knocked into the actual crowd, the match will be stopped and both wrestlers will be brought back to the ring and the match restarted from their corners. No managers, valets or seconds will be permitted in the ringside area.
Weight class based championships will be instituted. Heavyweight (221 lbs. and over), Middleweight (200 - 220 lbs.) And Lightweight (199 lbs. and under). Catch weight matches will still be contended, and all wrestlers will be subject to a weigh in the day before the match at weigh in press conferences.
Pre-Match interviews and face offs will take place at the weigh in pressers. There will be post match interviews conducted prior to each match, and post match press conferences after events.
To help realize this vision, former UFC and NWA champion Dan "The Beast" Severn has been brought in to properly oversee this operation. He will be helping make the matches and oversee the promotion of IPW events and contracted talent.
Mike Tenay will officially resume his role as the voice of IPW, while Jeremy Borash will resume his duties officially as interviewer, while being promoted to the position of official commentary analyst of IPW.

BREAKING NEWS: Keith Lee Injured at RoH Wrestling, Out of SuperCard II Match! (Friday, June 19th, 2020)
Spoilers below if you haven't read the latest episode of RoH Wrestling yet.
- As seen on tonight's episode of RoH Wrestling, Keith Lee was seemingly injured when we went after Seth Rollins on the apron during his 6-man tag match against Age of the Fall. It has now been confirmed to us that Keith Lee has indeed suffered a legitimate injury to his knee in what is being described as a "freak accident" and will be out of action for an undisclosed period of time. With RoH taping most of their shows in advance during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was reported Lee's injury caused the RoH backstage area to go in to panic as this was the go home show for SuperCard II. At this time, Seth Rollins is still scheduled to appear live next Friday at SuperCard II, but his match with Keith Lee has now been officially canceled for the time being. - Reports have surfaced that RoH officials have been on the phone steady over the last few days, frantically trying to find a last minute replacement to step in for Keith Lee against Seth Rollins. RoH has apparently been in contact with AEW and GWA in regards to a possibly 1-Night Appearance of one of their top stars, with names like Adam Cole, AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan and Killer Kross, but so far there is nothing new to report on this matter. - As seen on this weeks RoH Wrestling episode, both Steve Corino and Davey Richards made their RoH returns. For Richards, this is techncially his first appearance in RoH though Richards was originally a part of the original RoH roster before being traded to WWF along with current RoH superstar Eddie Edwards and Ted DiBiase, Jr. for Kurt Angle. Corino on the other hand has been off television since he was storyline suspended for leaving the commentary booth to assist Kevin Owens against Mike Bennett and Drew Gulak. With both Bennett and Gulak scheduled to be a part of the Pure Championship 7-Man Gauntlet Match at SuperCard II, rumours have began to surface that a full-time in ring return for Steve Corino may just be what RoH has been advertising as the mystery superstar for that match. As it stands now, the official card for next Friday's live SuperCard II event is as followed: Ring of Honor Presents: SuperCard II "Friday, June 26th, 2020"
Austin Aries & Brian Kendrick vs. American Wolves
7-Man Elimination Gauntlet: RoH Pure Championship Drew Gulak vs. Matt Taven vs. Mike Bennett vs. Trent Barretta vs. Chuck Taylor vs. Rhyno vs. Mystery Superstar
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Age of the Fall
Bobby Lashley vs. Big Show
No Holds Barred Match: Ken Kennedy vs. Kurt Angle
PLUS: RoH World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will be live to address Keith Lee's Injury!
AND: An Official Decision on Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships

Eric Bischoff to Address Jarrett's RoH Status! Kenny Omega Leaving RoH? & MORE! (Saturday, June 27th, 2020)
Spoilers ahead if you haven't yet read SuperCard II - Ring of Honor has announced at owner Jeff Jarrett will be live in Chicago to kick of bext week's RoH Wrestling broadcast in order to address the RoH status of General Manager Jeff Jarrett following the events at the end of SuperCard II. When asked to comment on the situation, a spokesperson from Ring of Honor had the following to say "Any person or persons under a Ring of Honor contract that is not contracted to particpate in the ring in a physical manner is to ever lay hands on a person or persons contracted to the company as talent. This was the precise reasoning Steve Corino was let go from the commentary position previously. Though Eric Bischoff understands the situation is slightly different, an investigation is currently under way, and Mr. Bischoff will address his decision regarding Mr. Jarrett's actions next Friday on RoH Wrestling."At this time, we were unable to get any additional comments on the situation, but rumours have been swirling lately that both RoH and Jeff Jarrett have been unhappy with the new General Manager role he's had lately, as Jarrett has had a sudden desire to return to the ring full time, and RoH does seem to be in need of another 1 or 2 faces to sit atop of the company with Seth Rollins already running through most of them sucessfully. - We've recieved new that Kenny Omega may already be done in Ring of Honor after what's been called a "dissapointing run" with the company. Omega was one of the few superstars who did not travel with the rest of the Canadian based RoH roster to Chicago on Thursday evening as we've recieved word he is planning on sitting out the remainder of his contract if he's not released. Omega, whose contract was acquired from AEW along with current Pure Champion Lance Archer in exchange for Triple H's talent contract has not been on RoH television very much and seemingly has had some major creative differences with the company's plans for him. Losing Kenny Omega could be a major loss the the company if this is indeed true. - The decisions to get the Canadian wrestlers over to Chicago was apparently a very last minute situation as RoH was working very closely with both the US and Canadian Government officials in order to secure safe passage for Edge in order to have him show up on SuperCard II to replace the injured Keith Lee. Once RoH was able to secure a private flgiht for Edge as well as very quick COVID-19 testing, the decision was made to call up the rest of the roster and ask them to join the flight over as well, with RoH promising those who chose to stay back that they would not face any supplimentary descipline for choosing not to. At this time, Kenny Omega is the only name we've confirmed that did not travel back to the United States. - With Ring of Honor now being able to run a full roster out Black x Brave Wrestling Academy, RoH has announced that moving forward, the broadcast team for all Ring of Honor events will remain Tony Schiavone and Taz, but with Mauro Ranallo now joining the tandom as well. This would leave Christian as the odd man out from the broadcast team moving forward. RoH officials were reportedly "extremely impressed" with Christian's commentary role and Christian himself had reportedly been telling those around him he would have been happy to retire from in ring competition in order to remain on the broadcast team post COVID. Only time will tell what is next for Christian, though a return to active competition seems the most likely course of action.

Rumors have it that Continental Championship Wrestling owned by Ron Fuller will soon be joining the MUW collective. An official announcement has yet to be made. However, it seems such a move would be part of Fuller's attempts to shore up his company after several months of financial woes. This also includes Fuller partnering with a new financial backer, who has yet to be revealed. However, sources indicate that it's perhaps the backer who is pushing to join the MUW collective, something Fuller is reluctant to do. The influx of money and a new partner could also lead to CCW debuting new grapplers and ancillary talent in the coming weeks and a possible television deal for weekly programming.

A Press Statement from Ron Fuller of Continental Championship Wrestling
I have become aware of rumors circulating regarding the future of Continental Championship Wrestling (CCW). While I can’t address all details yet, I wanted to make public what I could at this time.
It’s true that the company and myself personally have had financial troubles over the past several months. This can be directly connected to the shifting landscape of the wrestling world. One can’t just think regionally anymore. One has to think nationally, even globally.
A financial backer, whose identity cannot be revealed at this time, has stepped forward and is willing to provide some much needed cash flow in exchange for a stake in CCW. While this person will be involved with shows going forward, I will retain controlling stock in the company and therefore power as booker/promoter of CCW.
This person has also engineered a television deal with Sports Channel America for a weekly two-hour studio show. A debut date has yet to be set, but the program would be airing from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday mornings. Sports Channel America will also be showing bi-monthly specials of planned super shows that will be taking place in arenas all across the country.
There are plans to make announcements on July 1 regarding new talent acquisitions. This will be a mix of free agent signings and some coming to CCW from other Mash-Up Wrestling (MUW) properties.
I can also confirm that CCW is joining the MUW collective and is looking forward to leveraging that partnership to increase our national footprint and talent pool. This includes talks to bring in MUW Champion AJ Styles for our first Super Show sometime in early August.
I look forward to CCW’s new direction, entertaining our longtime fans and bringing in new fans. Thank you, Ron Fuller Owner, Continental Championship Wrestling

Sources in the CWF office are saying that Bobby Heenan is furious with the MUW Network. Three things in particular have set him off: seeing his Southern Heavyweight champion, Brian Pillman, defend the title without his knowledge in Lucha Underground; the NWA Beach Blast pay-per-view encroaching into Florida; and the unprojectable roster turnover due to two separate dispersal drafts, upsetting his budget and booking plans. While it's uncertain how "the Brain" will respond, all that is certain is that he most definitely will respond.

- GWA Warzone did not air this week and it is due to fears of some workers having Covid-19. This is all just precautionary and Warzone is expected to go on as scheduled next wedensday.
OOC - I just started back work and just didn't have time this week to write anything lol

After a pair of roster shakeups just a few weeks after their inaugural pay-per-view, CWF Owner and President Bobby Heenan will address the locker room to start next week's show. What will "the Brain" say? Are even more changes in store?
