October 13th - October 19th ("STONE COLD! STONE COLD!") Huge week of action on the Mash-Up Wrestling calender. Two major milestones approach: BCCW vs WWE Civil War and the upcoming AGPW Primetime special. All companies took a major step forward in advancing their storylines this week, topped off by a historic broadcast of Saturday Night's Main Event by WWE. Let's get right to the action:)MATCH of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin defeats Ric Flair for the WWE title on SNME PLAY of the WEEK: Insiders/4 Horsemen run roughshod on BCCW (From BCCW TV Episode #26: BCCW Forever It's Yours. Continuing the unabashed (and illegal from what we thought we knew about contractual appearances & network jumps) collaboration from above, the Horsemen & Insiders exhibit a little "scratch my back I'll scratch yours" action on BCCW TV. First Ric Flair destroyed the historic Cena/Austin main event on WWE Championship Wrestling (spoiling a possible test run for a future World title feud perhaps?), then they succeeded in ruining two more main events this week. The above jump on Austin & Cena, the brawl that marred the finish to SNME, as well as the incident that shut down BCCW TV Episode #26. This new supergroup has really been throwing their muscle around, and while all may not be rosy in Wonderland (see Terry Gordy & Steve Williams angry reaction to being removed from the PPV main event, for example - or Flair losing the WWE title to Austin at SNME) they sure know how to make a statement when it counts) WRESTLER of the WEEK: Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat (Big Mash-Up Wrestling debut for Steamboat as he picks up a win over Kofi Kingston on BCCW Fight Night this week. While other wrestlers had newsworthy weeks, it wasn't all for what happened in the ring. Steamboat on the other hand, is nothing but business at hand. As a wrestling purist I expect nothing less)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: The Cena/Austin World title match on WWE Championship Wrestling held the record for a few days, until WWE topped itself with an Austin/Flair main event on SNME that saw Austin finally win the title. His glass-ceiling moment is recognized as this weeks "Rating Pop of the week" TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (AGPW) (Not only did Vachon and Bravo retain their North American Tag Team titles in a match against Leo Burke/Dean Malenko, they also managed to secure themselves position in the upcoming International Heavyweight title match as well! Double whammy for the Mafia and another victory for the crafty Frenchy Martin. Dean Malenko's title reign is in big trouble with the Mafia hot on his heels)WOMAN of the WEEK: Fabulous Moolah (AGPW) (BCCW's Mildred Burke is undefeated champion... Taylor Made & Lita make noise in WWE... but can Fabulous Moolah be the one who puts them all in place? Here's the action from AGPW...)

October 20th - October 26th ("Primetime Wrestling") Mash-Up Wrestling is in turmoil. BCCW & WWE prepare for warfare while ground-breaking devolopments continue to happen in Canada. I don't know what it is up there that lends itself to such turbulence, but Canada has been the focal point of the Mash Up Wrestling universe for some time now. With Civil War fast approaching and Primetime here, let's get right to this weeks amazing highlights! MATCH of the WEEK: Gus Sonnenberg defeats Chris Sabin in Flyweight #1 Contender match (BCCW TV Episode #27: One for the Road) (Even without the post-match extracurriculars, the AGPW Fatal 4-way for the International HW title was a stellar piece of mat work. WWE All-Star Wrestling featured a near-15 minute bout between Tully Blanchard and Nick Bockwinkel, and BCCW Fight Night culminated with an amazing fantasy bout between Ricky Steamboat and RVD. But this winner of "Match of the Week" was an underrated sleeper that ended fairly plus left the fans wanting more. That's the hallmark of a great match, and this week Gus Sonnenberg vs Chris Sabin had it all. The BCCW Flyweight title has been elevated to a level of importance it hasn't seen in a while, with these 2 men giving it their all for just a SHOT at the belt)PLAY of the WEEK: Godfather of the Montreal Mafia (AGPW) (It all makes sense now. The unrelenting march to the top, the suspicious surrendering of Mafia henchmen Tajiri in under 1 minute, the ruling from Cyrus. In what could quite possibly be a Mash-Up Wrestling harbinger of things to come, Yvon "le lion" Robert was crowned new International Heavyweight champion after revealing his Montreal Mafia allegiance. This is huge news within the fantasy wrestling community, and the world waits with baited breath to see how the next chapter unfolds. Meanwhile, we now take you to AGPW Primetime and pre-recorded action...)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin (The unauthorized appearance of the WWE Champion on BCCW programming to cap off BCCW TV Episode #27: One for the Road, was another thrilling moment in a long-line of Austin antics. With an emphatic Stone Cold Stunner, Austin sealed the deal on Kowalski's monologue of pain and promised to whoop some ass at Battleground Civil War! Austin vs Kowalski no matter how you slice it is a fantasy wrestling dream match, and another example of the brilliant absurdity represented by the Mash-Up style) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Savage vs Mero with Pipers Pit overrun (AGPW) (Even with WWE and BCCW firing on all cylinders, AGPW stole the spotlight with a segment of programming that captured the imagination. The Savage vs Mero match from Primetime started off hot but increased in ratings as it went on. It peaked with Randy's victory and carried over through the commercial break (a remarkable achievement) into Pipers Pit, with guest Blue Blazer. An incredibly hot chain of events that earned AGPW Primetime "Ratings Pop of the Week")TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Trevor Murdoch & Lance Cade (AGPW) (While I really wanted to pick Krupp & Arcadian Giant for their demolition of JYD and Bo Dallas, I figured that was more of a sideshow freak attraction than serious legit competition. Cade & Murdoch on the other hand, though not always on the same page, triumphed where it mattered most: in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination bout for the #1 contendership. The fact they took out the team of Magnus & Cesaro last, who have been building their own momentum recently, was the icing on the cake. Huge win for the cowboys as they move up the AGPW ladder of contention) WOMAN of the WEEK: WWE Woman's champion Taylor Made (Taylor Made and manager Larry Sweeney crashed the BCCW Fight Night party to get a piece of Mildred Burke in anticipation of their bout at Battleground Civil War, and made a very loud statement in the process. Ms. Burke is certainly going to have her hands full at the PPV trying to defend her honor and undefeated streak against the incorrigible Taylor Made).

October 27th - November 2nd, 2013
("Hell comes to Mash Up Wrestling")This was an incredible two-part presentation of BCCW & WWE, featuring the 1st full-length crossover event in fantasy wrestling history. At Battleground Civil War the two companies collided in a night of action we won't soon forget. In the climatic main event, Team WWE *beat* Team BCCW when Hulk Hogan went Hollywood and revealed his Illuminati affiliation. The master plan continued on the next episode of BCCW TV, entitled "Halloween in Hell 3", when Hulk Hogan beat John Cena to become new World champion and BCCW VP Sheldon Goldberg betrayed his company. Let's take a look at the action from this chilling week: MATCH of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin def Killer Kowalski (Battleground Civil War) PLAY of the WEEK: BCCW VP Sheldon Goldberg revealed as Illuminati inside man (BCCW TV Episode #28: Halloween in Hell 3) WRESTLER of the WEEK: Hollywood Hulk Hogan (The turncoat lead Team WWE to victory at Battleground Civil War, before beating Cena for the World title at Halloween in Hell 3)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Cena vs Hogan (World title match) (BCCW TV Episode #28: Halloween in Hell 3) TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Dr Death Steve Williams & Terry Gordy (WWE Tag Team Champions) (Retained their titles in a wild 3-way match featuring former champions Strike Force and the debuting Wild Samoans!)WOMAN of the WEEK: Mildred Burke (She beat WWE Woman's champion Taylor Made at Battleground Civil War, continuing her undefeated streak and adding another notch in her holster. The Woman's championship held by Mildred Burke is by far the most prestigious woman's title in the game, and it's all because of the remarkable reign of the Iron Lady Mildred Burke)

November 3rd - November 9th 2013 ("Corruption Manifest")In a greatly tumultuous period for Mash Up wrestling, forces are still reeling from the events of Battleground: Civil War into Halloween in Hell 3. Hollywood Hulk Hogan is the new World champion and the reaches of the Illuminati can be felt from Boston to Charlottetown P.E.I. Read on for further details... MATCH of the WEEK: Hollywood Hogan makes his 1st World title defense in Canada on AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night this segues directly into our 2nd award for the night...PLAY of the WEEK: Superstar Billy Graham debuts in AGPW! -- see the entire episode of AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night in Mash Up Wrestling ondemand (click here) --WRESTLER of the WEEK: *NEW* WWE Champion Nick Bockwinkel (In the wake of the Insiders/4 Horsemen scandal, new WWE President William Muldoon stripped the former title holders of their claim and put the championship up in a 4-way bout on WWE Championship Wrestling. Bockwinkel picks up the win after Steve Austin is victimized by a surprise GORE! GORE! GORE! by Rhino!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: "New Game In Town" Intro (BCCW TV Episode #29) (The world waited with bated breath to hear from the new World champion Hollywood Hogan and the turncoat Sheldon Goldberg. When BCCW TV Episode #29 opened with their introduction, they did not disappoint. Before marching on to change the landscape of AGPW (see "Match of the Week"), Hollywood Hogan left a very capable member of the Illuminati behind to oversee the Northeast division, that being new BCCW Commissioner HHH!)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Insiders (BCCW TV Episode #29) (Nary a mention was made or needed about Scott Hall's sudden absence from BCCW. He was subsequently dropped for personal demons, but the Insiders picked up and moved on by acquiring disgruntled ex-AGPW employee Test. Miz as a mouth piece certainly has two of the most intimidating muscle men in fantasy wrestling at his disposal, not to mention the rub of the original 4 Horsemen) WOMAN of the WEEK: Lita (WWE) (The Original Extreme vixen is on the comeback trail in WWE, determined to avenge herself against Maria Kanellis and regain her championship belt)

November 10th - November 16th 2013 (Seeds being planted)MATCH of the WEEK: John Cena defeats Big John Studd in a WWE2k14 Challenge Match (BCCW TV Episode #30: Virtual Reality) (Another incredibly imaginative write up from the demented master of the craft, MSD. I haven't played 2k14 yet but I was a big fan of the Attitude Era mode and know what to expect, so I chuckled when I got to match objectives for Cena vs Studd. It also served to cap off another remarkable night of BCCW action, this time with a video game theme) PLAY of the WEEK: Illuminati reaches the Great White North WRESTLER of the WEEK: Bruno Sammartino (WWE) (da Brune looks wholly recharged since reemerging in WWE after the Battleground: Civil War debacle. He had an amazing victory over Barry Windham on a live show from Montreal this week, and also a television victory on WWE Championship Wrestling that gave him time to put some work into his upcoming main event appearance at WWE Survivor Series. Looks like this change of territory could be the best thing for Bruno, as he too looks to tackle the Hollywood Hogan threat)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Illuminati crash the set (WWE Championship Wrestling) -- see the entire episode of WWE Championship Wrestling in Mash Up Wrestling ondemand (click here) --TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Trash Pack (BCCW Fight Night) (The fan-favorite trio earns a strong victory over former multi-time fantasy wrestling champion Headhunterz on BCCW Fight Night, and continue their move up the championship rankings. This seems to be Tony Rumble's most dangerous stable yet, turning him from comedy relief to a more serious threat)WOMAN of the WEEK: Fabulous Moolah (AGPW) (While she may not be prominently placed like other females around the Mash Up universe, or approaching a PPV date, she is nonetheless on the map and making strong statements. This time it's a statement victory over ex-TNA Knockout Rosita, who is no slouch herself)

November 17 - November 23rd (A Bountiful Harvest)Just when you thought it couldn't get bigger, Mash Up Wrestling hits another plateau. "Finally, Monday Nights mean something in fantasy wrestling". With these infamous remarks, another "revolution" was sparked. Monday belongs to Nitro. Launching perhaps the most star-studded roster in Mash Up Wrestling, WCW cut through the red tape and finally got back on the air. Word of WCW and UCW losing their programming rights as a result of insane Vince McMahon maneuvering have thus far been unfounded, but strongly suspected. Is this just another master stroke of the Illuminati, as they continue their domination of fantasy wrestling? A Mash Up Wrestling double-header is on the horizon with WWE Survivor Series followed by BCCW Revenge. Let's get right to the highlights for this week: MATCH of the WEEK: AJ Styles defeats Dolph Ziggler (WCW Nitro) -- Witness the rebirth of WCW with Mash Up Wrestling ondemand (click here) --PLAY of the WEEK: Samoa Joe debuts in AGPW (immediately takes it to Killer Karl Krupp and Arcadian Giant) (The ominous vignettes foretold his arrival, yet nobody was prepared for the way Samoa Joe would interject himself into the AGPW scene. He did it at the expense of two of the most formidable monsters in the territory. If anybody can combat Krupp and Arcadian Giants brand of mayhem, it's the Samoan Submission Machine!) WRESTLER of the WEEK: Randy Orton (new WCW champion) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Stone Cold Stunner to John Cena!! (BCCW TV Episode #31: Shaken not Stirred) -- see the entire Episode of BCCW TV with Mash Up Wrestling ondemand (click here) --TAG TEAM of the WEEK: WWE Tag Team champion Demolition w/ Paul Jones (The champions were triumphant over former title holders Strike Force in another amazing match from the WWE's string of Canadian house shows, in the wake of Battleground: Civil War. Everything returns to Boston for Survivor Series and with Paul Jones helping lead the Demolition army, these bad boys are ready to rumble)WOMAN of the WEEK: Taylor Wilde (AGPW) (Another strong week of action for the ladies, with Mildred Burke & Brittany Brown picking up a big win in BCCW and ODB showing up in AGPW. But Taylor Wilde gets the nod this week for sticking to her word and handling her business, with a victory over Portia Perez. Never mind the post match shenanigans, Taylor Wilde can handle her own when it's one-on-one)

Jennifer Lawrence this one is for you... November 24th - November 30th (Mash-Up Wrestling Double Header) The much anticipated WWE Survivor Series went off without a hitch in Boston, while BCCW countered days later with REVENGE. It was an incredible week for action in Mash Up Wrestling; perhaps none bigger. Everything is firing on all cylinders, the good guys are coming back and there might be a chink in the Illuminati armor after all. Meanwhile huge things continue to bubble up in Atlanta and Canada, and new land in Minnesota can be spotted on the horizon... Let's get right to the highlights for this week:MATCH of the WEEK: WWE Survivor Series Main Event (Team WWE vs Team BCCW part 2) (Team WWE- Steve Austin, Bruno Sammartino, John Cena, Ultimate Warrior beat Team BCCW- Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Killer Kowalski, The Miz and Ric Flair in 21:22 when Austin beat Hogan with the stunner. Sole Survivor: Steve Austin- Steve will get a shot at the MUW World Title at a later date.)-- see WWE Survivor Series with Mash Up Wrestling ondemand (click here) --PLAY of the WEEK: Sting gets WCW title shot against Randy Orton at Clash of Champions (WCW Nitro 11/25) (Clash of the golden boys and "faces" of their respective generations. Classic WWE heel versus traditional WCW babyface in a Mash Up battle for supremacy. As a huge fan of Sting before the Crow makeover, I applaud you for his inclusion and hope he's the one to counter the Vipers sting)WRESTLER of the WEEK: John Cena (BCCW) (Helped defeat the evil version of Team BCCW at Survivor Series, as well as getting a hint of revenge upon his partner Stone Cold. Then Cena completed the Boston victory party with a BCCW Heavyweight title win over Killer Kowalski on BCCW TV Episode #32: REVENGE 3-hour special). An incredible capper for Cena who finally slayed the Kowalski specter and laid claim to the throne) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Christian Classic AGPW Debut TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Bad Influence w/ Classy Freddie Blassie (AGPW) (Successful tag team debut for the pair on Dynamite Saturday Night November 30th over a very game Killer Bees. This was another simple Mash Up combination that aligned perfectly, especially the addition of Blassie to the Bad Influence core)WOMAN of the WEEK: Mildred Burke (BCCW) (Could it be anyone else? This remarkable woman has weathered incredible storms to reign undefeated as Woman's champion for OVER A YEAR! That's incredible! She closed off that marathon run with another victory over Eve Torres on BCCW TV Episode #32: REVENGE. Burke is riding tall but a ghost from her past has come back to haunt her...)

December 1st - December 7th “Survival of the Fittest” Merry Christmas to all and happy holidays to the rest. I’m wrapping up this season of the Highlight reel with a bow. It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Mash up Wrestling, this was your year. We start the month of December off with a fireball as live fantasy wrestling action springs up under a long dormant banner. WCW has a huge made-for-TV offering coming up as AGPW looks towards it‘s 1st company PPV. Meanwhile BCCW and WWE are still reverberating from the changes of Survivor Series/REVENGE. Let‘s take you right to the highlights for this week:MATCH of the WEEK: Night of the Multi-Tags (Tie: WCW & AGPW) As is customary in Mash up wrestling we witnessed unbelievable action on a near-daily basis. From World champion Hollywood Hogan appearing in action in AGPW, to a fantasy dream match like Gino Hernandez vs. Bret Hart from WWE All-Star Wrestling we saw instant classics. But some of the most fun I had viewing this week were in the multi-man tag team matches hosted by WCW and AGPW this week. Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling opened with a 24-man (12 team) Battle Royal to determine the #1 contenders for the tag championships, while WCW closed another explosive Nitro with a Fatal 4-Way Elimination tag with similar repercussions. Just great dominant action all around with some surprising victors as well. Highly recommended viewing and our first (and only) “joint-award winners”. -- WCW Monday Nitro (12/2/13) -- click here-- AGPW Dynamite Saturday Night (12/7/13) -- click here PLAY of the WEEK: Kevin Steen massacres Colt Cabana (WCW) I thought CM Punk was just being a wise-ass by pointing out Colt Cabana at ringside when WCW visited Chicago. Little did I know, he was being set-up and exploited by the diabolical genius Paul Heyman. After Kevin Steen’s efficient victory over Koko B. Ware, he attacked Colt Cabana and beat him to a bloody pulp, and sending a loud message to his Clash of Champions opponent CM Punk! Steen was later saved from retribution by Eric Bischoff by being barred from the building next week… but Heyman better be prepared to face Punk one-on-one!!WRESTLER of the WEEK: Verne Gagne (AWA) Not only was the parent company’s Mash up Wrestling debut a rousing success, the old man himself won a barn burner of a match against Ken Shamrock. This fight (though roundly criticized by some of the local yokels, I hear) has jumpstarted a fiery new feud in the AWA and helped put the new company on the map.-- AWA debut PPV set (Bi-Coastal Brawl) available on Mash up Wrestling on demand -- click hereRATINGS POP of the WEEK: A Blue Massacre (BCCW) (This was a segment overrun that highlighted the sheer brutality that still exists in BCCW. Not surprisingly, reigning BCCW middleweight champion Dean Ambrose was in the middle of the whole thing. It started shortly after Ricky Steamboat’s victory over Kofi Kingston. Steamboat attempted to call out Ambrose for a title shot, but was blindsided by a returning Alberto Del Rio. The intensity of that segment carried over into the voyeuristic footage of the Four Horseman attacking Dusty Rhodes on his way to the arena. Fans continued to tune into the programming in droves as social media lit up with the return and attack. They stayed to hear what Dean Ambrose had to say about the situation, resulting in the highest rated segment of the week. Let’s get to the highlights:TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (AGPW) The AGPW North American Tag Team champions (Bravo & Mad Dog) won a brutal Lethal Lockdown match in the main event of Dynamite Saturday Night that elevated them to a new level of barbarism, while possibly closing the chapter on their feuds with Malenkov & Leo Burke for good. Frenchy Martin has his men operating on a lethal level heading into the company’s first PPV, with new #1 contenders (JYD & Bo Dallas) determined earlier in the show (tonight’s “Match of the Week” winner). WOMAN of the WEEK: Melissa Anderson (WWE) WWE All-Star Wrestling was a veritable smorgasbord of female action this week, and perhaps one beautiful face stood out best among the rest - Melissa Anderson. Let’s get right to the match highlights…-- see WWE All-Star Wrestling on demand -- click here

December 8th - December 14th “Seasons Beatings” Mash up Wrestling has now hit optimum operating efficiency, with 5 full-time organizations and week-long slate of fantasy wrestling hits. On a typical week in Mash up wrestling you can expect to see somebody’s PPV show open the week on Sunday. Followed by an explosive episode of WCW Nitro on Monday. On Tuesdays we see BCCW programming from NESN. Wednesdays now belong to the AWA Warriors, followed by Throwdown on Thursday and Fight Night from BCCW. WWE runs the Thurs & Friday night airwaves with All-Star and Championship Wrestling. Finally, AGPW wraps up the week with a bang on Dynamite Saturday Night. You really couldn’t ask for a better place to be a fantasy wrestling fan, as Mash up Wrestling proves time and time again they bring the heat. Now I bring the highlights. On with the show…MATCH of the WEEK: BCCW Best of the Best 3 We had our 1st ever tie in this category last show, now we have our 1st ever whole show winner. Tying seamlessly into one night of stellar Flyweight action, BCCW earns the crown this week with a tight 70 minute fantasy wrestling showcase. Everybody was a standout performer in their own right with multiple break out appearances. Pardon my redundancy, but this may be the best BoB tournament BCCW has ever hosted! -- BCCW Best of the Best 3 on demand -- click hereMatch of the Week (runner-up): Harley Race versus Michael Elgin (AWA Wednesday Night Warriors) -- AWA Wednesday Night Warriors on demand -- click herePLAY of the WEEK: Erich Bischoff sets the trend (WCW) Foreshadowing some of the decisions that would make Easy E a 2013 Mash Up award nominee, Bischoff made some key decrees on Nitro this week. Clash of Champions will now we be aired commercial free! Rick Rude makes a successful WCW debut over another debuting face (Marty Jannetty). Finally he puts the huge WCW title match between Sting and Randy Orton in a Steel Cage at Clash. Big-time plays all around from the headman of WCW. WRESTLER of the WEEK: Dusty Rhodes (BCCW) From BCCW TV Episode #34 (the Gift and the Curse)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Superstar Graham vs. Christian (AGPW) Huge signature main event for Dynamite Saturday Night (12/14/13) between the Illuminati (“Californication” branch) and Canada’s own Instant Classic. Mash up Wrestling World champion Hollywood Hulk Hogan continues to wreak havoc North of the Border by stacking the deck against Christian and his crusade to earn a title shot. But Hogan would find the scorched earth he left in his wake coming back to burn them, when Randy Savage returns to wreak some madness! Now Christian owns a World title shot against Hogan and is cashing in at Mayhem in Montreal! Do you believe in miracles?? The peeps sure do!-- AGPW Saturday Night (12/14/13) on demand -- click here TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Ole & Gene Anderson (WWE) The Minnesota Wrecking Crew took out State Patrol on WWE All-Star Wrestling (12/14/13) and sent strong notice to Tag Team champions Demolition that they want the straps.WOMAN of the WEEK: Awesome Kong (BCCW) With a little help from Top Shelf Trish Stratus, Awesome Kong destroyed Mildred Burke, Maria Menonous’ Extra set and the entire award nominees ceremony on BCCW TV Episode #34. Awesome Kong is next in line to tackle Mildred Burke’s colossal undefeated streak, but are we looking at a new-age version of the Million Dollar Man/Andre the Giant scandal, where Awesome Kong wins the belt and hands it over to Trish? The answer should become clear at “Great Expectations”!

December 15th - December 21st “Brass Knuckles Invasion” MATCH of the WEEK: Daniel Bryan vs. Harley Race (AWA) From AWA Throwdown:PLAY of the WEEK: Rhyno attacks Ultimate Warrior (WWE) On WWE Championship Wrestling (12/15/13), the Ultimate Warrior was victorious in his match against the Cobra, only to fall victim to a Rhino sneak attack. The man beast gave Warrior a piledriver on the floor and may have signed his own death warrant! IF Ultimate Warrior is able to return to action after this attack, which I have no doubt he will.WRESTLER of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE) (Austin ran roughshod over the reigning WWE champion Nick Bockwinkel on All-Star Wrestling 12/20/13, requiring a DQ ending from Larry Zybyzsko. Austin is on fire heading into the Royal Rumble as he chases his championship destiny)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: AGPW Main Event (12/21/13) World champion Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Superstar Billy Graham vs. Randy Savage and Christian Classic in a Mash Up dream match. The bad guys won after interference… a harbinger of things to come from AGPW’s first ppv?TAG TEAM of the WEEK: The Bluebloods (AWA) From AWA Throwdown:WOMAN of the WEEK: Fabulous Moolah (AGPW)

Last Highlight Reel of the Year!! We’re going out with a bang by focusing on two of the biggest shows of the year by two of the brightest companies in all of fantasy wrestling. Tonight we host a special “showdown” version of the Highlight Reel. “Mayhem in Montreal” versus “Great Expectations”. AGPW vs. BCCW. Let’s get right to the action! MATCH of the WEEK: Dusty Rhodes vs. John Cena (BCCW HW championship) Little was said in match description (a rarity for blabbermouth MSD), but the sentiment was perfectly clear - this was an American Dream Match classic. Pound-for-pound and word-for-word, the Hulk Hogan vs. Christian main event from AGPW was *better*, but suffered from a bit of Illuminati claustrophobia at the end. Meanwhile, despite the political friction in BCCW all hands stayed clean and let the Rhodes/Cena match roll to it’s natural conclusion. So for the clean finish to the last BCCW ppv of the year, I go with Rhodes/Cena for match of the week by a slim margin. PLAY of the WEEK: Trish Stratus on the Top Shelf (AGPW) Awesome Kong may have lost her championship bid against Mildred Burke at Great Expectations, but they showed up first in Canada to wreak some havoc. Trish & Kong made a statement during the Gail Kim vs. Moolah match and made their intentions very clear. Trish Stratus would later close the year by having Kong power bomb Mildred Burke off the stage while Trish stole her championship belt! Top Shelf Trish Stratus is at the center of attention in woman’s wrestling no matter where she is.WRESTLER of the WEEK: Hollywood Hulk Hogan (World Champion) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: “Riding Crop on a Pole Match” (AGPW) Both shows were on PPV, but only AGPW had a TV warm-up with Dynamite Saturday Night. In the main event of the ppv pre-show, Samoa Joe finally get his revenge on the Arcadian Giant and Killer Karl Krupp, and proved he has what it takes to kill anybody in AGPW! Great ratings spike and perfect lead-in for the ppv.TAG TEAM of the WEEK: BCCW 6-Man champion Insiders From “Great Expectations”…WOMAN of the WEEK: Mildred Burke (BCCW)
