July 21st - July 27th ("Parts Unknown")(Answer to the question "where was Karl Hugo all along?")MATCH of the WEEK: Sheamus vs Dusty Rhodes, #1 Contender Match (BCCW TV Episode #21: Dear Summer...) (Even with the slightly screwy finish, this was a blue-collar dream match. Though the Gauntlet Match later on the same card may have had slightly bigger ramifications & more star-power, it doesn't subtract from the fact Sheamus & Dusty gave it their all for a shot at the BCCW Heavyweight strap. Together they contested the "Match of the Week")PLAY of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia tear down Pipers Pit (7/27 AGPW on ASN) (Roddy Piper tried to get answers, but Frenchy Martin & his men changed the questions. Tajiri spit poison green gas in Pipers face and his talk show set was torn asunder in one of the most shocking segments of the week)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Ultimate Warrior (The man from Parts Unknown blazed through the BCCW All-Star Gauntlet match to earn a shot against John Cena & his World championship at Heatwave. Whether this is a preemptive strike by BCCW and Vice-President Sheldon Goldberg, or just the stars aligning perfectly, either way Cena vs Ultimate Warrior is a dream-match made in Fight Fiction heaven)RATINGS POP of the WEEK Shane McMahon lays the law down on Stone Cold Steve Austin (from WWE All-Star Wrestling- 7/25/2013) (Overall, BCCW TV Episode #21: Dear Summer... was the overall ratings winner. But this particular segment from WWE All-Star Wrestling actually hit peak numbers during the Shane McMahon clash with Austin (a follow-up to Austin's attack on the 7-11 guy). It just goes to show the WWE may have something really big here with Steve Austin, as the fans are reacting very favorably to his segments)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Killer Bees (Jumping Jim Brunzell & B. Brian Blair) (A successful tag-team debut for the pair in Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling)WOMAN of the WEEK: BCCW Woman's Champion Mildred Burke (Another successful title defense for the undefeated champion, this time over a very-game Sable. Does Woman's Division president Eve Torres finally have what it takes to take the belt from Burke in the ring?)

July 28th - August 3rd (“The Moment”)(What was the biggest moment this week? The debut UCW PPV “High Voltage”? The Heatwave spectacular from BCCW? WWE’s Vince McMahon targeting other competition? The Iceman in AGPW? Answer: all of the above; the true winners are the fans)MATCH of the WEEK: JBL defends the UCW Championship against Shawn Michaels (in the main event to UCW presents “HIGH VOLTAGE”) PLAY of the WEEK: From WWE All-Star Wrestling- 8/2/2013: “Vince McMahon is in the ring to open up the show and he says that he did see BCCW's heatwave event and he found it to be okay, but not great. He feels that if he was running that event, it will be first class all the way, just like Summerslam coming on August 25th. Then, he introduces everyone to the MUW World Champion-John Cena! Cena comes out to a mixed reaction of cheers and boos from the crowd. John says that he is glad to be here in D-town and that he is here to do what he promised to do and that is to tear down the WWE banner at MSG on August 25th, but Vince says it will be over his cold, dead body!!! Vince then states that Cena will have a tough night in MSG as it will now be a double main event as John Cena will defend the MUW World Title against an opponent that Vince will announce next week. Also, his son Shane will have an announcement about a stipulation for the fatal four way match that will get Mr.Cena's attention. Cena says that he is ready for whatever Vince has for him and Vince says to be careful what you wish for, because he just might get it. After a brief staredown, John delivers his you can't see me hand gesture and leaves and Vince then talks about Sheldon Goldberg and BCCW and reiterates that the Heatwave was olay and that he basically choked under the pressure of delivering a quality event and if he had a problem with it, then he invites Mr.Goldberg to all-star wrestling next week and say his grievance to his face!!” WRESTLER of the WEEK: Undisputed World champion John Cena (Regardless of what the critics say, he defended the title on the largest stage against one of the most recognizable names in the game. Respect due to the champ). RATINGS POP of the WEEK: John Cena vs. Ultimate Warrior main event from Heatwave (Although it ended controversially, and there is word of a potential insider sabotage - the Heatwave special did unprecedented ratings on the USA network with this free super card). TAG TEAM of the WEEK: BCCW 6-Man Tag Team Champion WILD SAMOANS (First they defend the titles against ex-champions the Headhunterz on Fight Night (Temperature’s Rising) (and caused the violent excommunication of Mike Awesome from T.O.X.I.C.)… but then the champions continue their reign of dominance with a strong victory over bloodline brethren the Uso’s at Heatwave. Nature Boy Buddy Rogers has the Wild Samoans on a rampage. Who can stop them??WOMEN of the WEEK: BCCW Woman’s Champion Mildred Burke (She continues her undefeated streak, and finally got the chance for revenge against the boss that caused her so much hell when Burke beat Eve Torres to retain the Woman’s championship at Heatwave)

August 4th - August 10th (“Civil War”) The big news this week was the launch of the latest Expansion Draft “Civil War”. Here are the results:1) WWEFan: Terry Funk & Dory Funk Jr 2) MSD (trade from rexxxx): Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat 3) Slade: Million Dollar Man Ted Dibiase 4) MSD: Bad News Brown 5) WWEFan: Nick Bockwinkel & Larry Zbyszko 6) rexxxx: VADER 7) Slade: Gail Kim / ODB / Taylor Wilde 8) MSD: Bella Twins 9) WWEFan: Bull Nakano 10) rexxxx (skipped) 11) Slade: Owen Hart 12) MSD: Adam Bomb 13) WWEFan: Demolition (Ax/Smash/Crush) 14) rexxxx: (skipped) 15) Slade: Fabulous Moolah & Mae Young 16) MSD: Jeff Jarrett A lot of big moves being made as the Mash-Up Wrestling universe continues to grow. There were also a slew of big matches and TV shows to keep up our fantasy wrestling fix!MATCH of the WEEK: Hulk Hogan & Eugene versus Kevin Sullivan & Madman Pondo (from WWE Championship Wrestling 8/10/13) (Not only was it an exciting and pure “good guys vs. bad guys” match, it featured an unscheduled Steve Austin run-in at the end that resulted in Stone Cold stunning Hogan before tarring & feathering the Immortal one!)PLAY of the WEEK: Killer Karl Krupp from AGPW (August 10th 2013): “SoCal Val is with Mannheim, Germany’s “Killer” Karl Krupp, who tells her that he’s largely unimpressed with the quality of the competition in AGPW. He claims to be able to crush anyone with whom he steps into the ring. Furthermore, he says that he can incapacitate anyone with his claw hold – from the likes of TG Stone (like he did last week), all of the way up to the International Heavyweight Champion, “The Iceman” Dean Malenko. The eccentric, cape-wearing and monocle-adorned brawler puts forward the Iron Claw Challenge: if you can survive 10-seconds in the Iron Claw, he will personally pay you $25,000.” WRESTLER of the WEEK: Marvelous Marc Mero (AGPW) (Helped derail the International championship match last week between fan favorites Dean Malenko and Leo Burke… this week he picks up the scraps in a tag team bout and pinned the champion Malenko with his TKO! Certainly this makes Mero the #1 contender to the title if you ask him…)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: WWE All-Star Wrestling- 8/9/2013 Mark Lowrance welcomes everyone to the show and announces that Mr.McMahon is here this week to discuss BCCW and John Cena… Mean Gene Okerlund is in the ring with Vince McMahon and he states that Sheldon Goldberg, the commissioner of BCCW has refused to publicly address Mr. McMahon about the WWE and any grievance to his face, so he is giving him till next week to come out and say anything to his face or he will prove that Mr.Goldberg does not have the grapefruits to defend BCCW against the WWE. next, he addresses the MUW World Champion, John Cena. He says that there is no chance in hell that he will tear down the banner of the WWE at Summerslam and that he will have to go over Vince's cold, dead body to do it. But, he promised to name John's opponent for the MUW World Title Match at Summerslam and now is the time to do it and he introduces the opponent: THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!!! The crowd is shocked as the Warrior comes into the ring and Mean Gene has a loss of words. The Warrior states that he was ripped off of the MUW World Title at Heatwave and felt held back by the lower level league of BCCW and that he is here in the WWE to make a name for himself and what better way to do that is to crucify John Cena at Summerslam and become the next MUW World Champion and do not think that he is forgetting the WWE Title, because that is in his sights as well, but First it is Cena and the MUW World Title. Vince finally states that Mr.Goldberg can put that in his pipe and the rest of BCCW can smoke it!! TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (Dino Bravo & Mad Dog Vachon) (The AGPW North American Tag Team champions successfully defended their titles in their first attempt on AGPW from Portland Maine)WOMAN of the WEEK: Maryse (AGPW) (Putting Magnus & Antonio Cesaro under her spell is a great way to build a dominating stable in AGPW)

August 11h - August 17th (“Bringing the Heat”)MATCH of the WEEK: Mad Dog Vachon / Dino Bravo / Tajiri (Montreal Mafia) beat Roddy Piper / Junkyard Dog / Bo Dallas (6-Man Tag Team Match) (AGPW on ASN 8/17/13... Although the win was as “clean” as a blast of Tajiri breath-mint, the Montreal Mafia still pick another one up. Frenchy Martin has put together a killer stable in AGPW, and this was a great usage of Piper & JYD too, with the rookie Bo Dallas being the one to take the fall in the end. I look forward to the next chapter in this saga)PLAY of the WEEK: Heath Slater dumps 3MB & joins the New Fabulous Freebirds (From BCCW TV Episode #22 (Crown… Holy Grail)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin (WWE) (The Rattlesnake has been raising hell lately, playing the background spoiler role to all of Vince’s public posturing against BCCW happening in the forefront. This week on WWE All-Star Wrestling (8/16/13) Steve Austin (1997) beat Hulk Hogan (1993) with a Stone Cold stunner in what could have doubled as a PPV main-event. Strong words from Austin come Summerslam, and he puts even more sizzle on the upcoming WWE PPV spectacular! Austin has Windham, Hogan, Flair, Vince, Cena, and everyone else in his sights!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: WWE All-Star Wrestling (8/16/2013) Vince McMahon is in the ring and states that this past week, he got a letter frm Bernard Goldberg, the commissioner of BCCW and says that h did not even have the grapefruits to how up on television to face me and defend his comments and from reading this letter, this is laughable at best and he reads the letter and it goes as followed: From the Desk of Sheldon Goldberg (BCCW Vice President): Mr. McMahon responded by saying that Mr. Goldberg must have been there with the toupee on his head and reiterates that if BCCW wants a War with the WWE, then the people of Boston and those BCCW fans will be headed for some serious disappointment like the Boston Celtics and prove that the WWE is the premiere brand in MUW. Finally, he decides to invite Mr.Goldberg to observe a real promotion at work by inviting him to watch Summerslam next sunday night from Madison Square Garden and he also challenges him to the next edition of All-Star Wrestling to say those words to his face!!! TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Team Canada (Petey Williams / Eric Young) from AGPW (The fan-favorite Canadians have had a tough road in AGPW, fighting back from near-extinction to claim a #1 contenders match this week from AGPW on ASN. As much as I love the North American Tag Team champions the Montreal Mafia, and claim them as my favorite AGPW stable, I feel with the wave of momentum Team Canada is gathering they will be hard to beat. But never doubt the evil tactics of Frenchy Martin! I look forward to Primetime Live in September!) WOMAN of the WEEK: Lita (WWE) (The former Woman’s champion is back on the hunt to “regain a title that is important and prestigious to her and not a fashion accessory like Taylor Made has made it”. Another strong week for Lita, with a win over Aksana on All-Star Wrestling backs up her claims. Is the crown jewel of Larry Sweeney’s stable, Taylor Made, ready for the challenge?)

August 18th - August 24th ("Fever Pitch") With all eyes straining to see the upcoming WWE Summerslam spectacular, the Mash-Up Wrestling universe continues to spin. AGPW & BCCW (belatedly) added shows to the line-up this week, along with the consistent WWE house show schedule. An AGPW championship match & "Legend vs Legend Killer" BCCW dream bout highlighted the week.MATCH of the WEEK: International Heavyweight Championship Match (“The Iceman” Dean Malenko © def. Roadkill) (From AGPW 8/24, the reigning champion takes care of business in the same no-nonsense style that won him Wrestler of the Year from PWI in 1997)PLAY of the WEEK: Maritimes Golden Retriever Club Regional Specialty Competition ... No seriously, it's Killer Karl Krupp for another successful "Iron Claw Challenge" on AGPW 8/24. I love what you're doing with him so far. WRESTLER of the WEEK: Alberto Del Rio (2013) (The Mexican aristocrat is back to his true Heel persona in BCCW, and earns his legend-killer keep with another telling (if not controversial) victory over the Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich on BCCW Fight Night. That's 2 Von Erichs felled by ADR's hand in recent months, and with uncle Mil Mascaras on the horizon, it may not be long before another wrestling legend meets his demise)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Roddy Piper run-in on AGPW 8/24 (The Rowdy Scot made an unscheduled run-in and save during the Montreal Mafia match, and earned the continued ire of Frenchy Martin and his men. Now Piper gets a No DQ match against Tajiri on the next Primetime Live!) TAG TEAM of the WEEK: BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champion Wild Samoans (w/ "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers) (Another destructive rampage on BCCW Fight Night (F***WithMeYouKnowIGotIt) that drove the Pitbulls, Mondo Kleen & Chase Del Monte clear out of the company for good!) WOMAN of the WEEK: Eve Torres (The manipulative vixen may have lost her position as Woman's Division president, but gained what she wanted all along - another shot at Mildred Burke's championship. After coming so close to winning the title at Heatwave, Eve Torres is more determined than ever and with absolutely nothing to lose. Her victory over Sable on Fight Night proved that as well)

August 25th - August 31st (SUMMERSLAM!!) This is an all-WWE showcase. With AGPW being pre-empted, UCW still on hiatus & BCCW pulling programming due to McMahon tampering (or not), WWE managed to dominate the seasons sweep week unopposed. Amazing viewing coup. Please enjoy this special "All-Summerslam" edition of the Highlight Center.** You can watch the entire Summerslam replay right HERE **MATCH of the WEEK: Fatal Four way Match for the WWE World Title (Austin vs Hogan vs Windham vs Flair) (Ric Flair is once again King of the Mountain in WWE... with a World Title shot against Cena dangling on the horizon. 4-Horsemen versus the Cenation? Sounds like a dream feud to me)PLAY of the WEEK: NYC Police Escort for the World champion (People complained when LeBron James needed a police escort to get to a Jay-Z/Justin Timberlake concert, but that was nothing compared to the ruckus World Champion John Cena helped stir up after his successful title defense. Responding to the native negativity like he did in his ONS match against RVD in 06, Cena embraced the boos and gave the fans a show. Though with Red Sox & Celtics banners flying, it was obviously not a show the NYC crowd particularly cared for...) WRESTLER of the WEEK: John Cena (But minor "heel turn" aside, if you want to call it that, Cena still proved his mettle with a huge championship defense - on enemy territory - against the Ultimate Warrior. That makes Cena 2-0 against the Warrior in recent competition, which leaves the odds of a trilogy very slim. Where does Ultimate Warrior go from here? We know he finally left BCCW for good and signed a guaranteed deal with WWE, so it's only a matter of time before he resurfaces with an even bigger chip on his shoulder. But meanwhile, John Cena continues to reign as Undisputed World champion of fantasy wrestling whether you hate it or love it)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Sheldon Goldberg makes joint-PPV challenge at Summerslam. (Mean Gene is up in the luxury suite with Bernard Goldberg, commissioner of BCCW, who is booed very loudly. He states that the event has been okay thus far, but it was not like BCCW’s Heatwave. He wishes Mr. Cena the best of luck in his match with the Warrior tonight. Then, he discusses the fact that Mr.McMahon thinks that BCCW is still second rate to the WWE and issues a challenge. He says let us have a one night event where the best of BCCW battles the best of the WWE in a card live on pay-per-view and let us set the date for Sunday October 27th and you can name the place as to where the event is to be held if he has the “grapefruits” to accept the challenge. He asks Mean Gene to leave his suite so that he can enjoy the rest of the card)Although BCCW has yet to offer an "official" response (with all available channels claiming this to be a rumor, and/or denying it outright), Sheldon Goldberg certainly made his intentions very clear at Summerslam. Still no explanation why he goes by the name "Bernard" though... But you knew this wasn't a slight Vince McMahon could accept, especially with it happening on his own show. Sure enough, Vince came out personally on WWE All-Star Wrestling later in the week and accepted the challenge! (MUW: WWE All-Star Wrestling- 8/29/2013 Dover, De.- National Guard Armory Attendance: 987 (Sold Out)
Mr. McMahon is in the ring and thanks everyone for watching Summerslam last sunday on pay-per-view as it became one of the hugest successes in the history of the MUW and the WWE. He states that he is here with three announcements:
1. As it pertains to that stiff looking commission of BCCW, Mr. Goldberg and his challenge to the WWE for October 27th, I say this: YOUR ON PAL!!! Now, as far as the venue goes, it must be held in a neutral site to ensure fairness to both sides. So, on October 27th the MUW,BCCW and the WWE proudly present- CIVIL WAR- BCCW VS. WWE from the Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto, Canada. More information in the weeks to come".It's true. The building has been booked, the trademarks registered and promotional material is being cooked up as we speak. But still no official word from BCCW, beyond what we've seen so far. Rest assured we will continue to monitor this situation as it develops. TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Strike Force (Santana & Martel) (Strike Force ended the dominant tag-team championship reign of 4 Horsemen affiliates Dr Death Steve Williams & Terry Gordy at Summerslam, delighting the world and loosening the Horseman's strangle-grip on WWE gold)WOMAN of the WEEK: Lita (Lita retained her Woman's championship in a "last chance" match against perennial Mash-Up Wrestling foe Taylor Made (with Larry Sweeney) Summerslam was the perfect capper for the hottest chick in the game right now).

Sept 1 - September 7, 2013 ("Everything Falls Down")MATCH of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Barry Windham vs Hulk Hogan (#1 Contenders match) From WWE Championship Wrestling- 9/7/2013 we now take you to pre-recorded action:Main Event: Triple Threat Match with winner getting title shot at Ric Flair at Saturday Nights Main Event- Steve Austin beats Barry Windham and Hulk Hogan in 23:43 when Austin beat Windham with the stunner. With the win, Austin faces Flair on October 15th. Before the show goes off the air, Mark reads a note from the producer stating that Mr. Sheldon Goldberg, commissioner of BCCW will be here live next week to confront Mr. McMahon as the show goes off the air.** Karl Hugo's note: Not only was this a great & exciting TV match, with the pre-taping schedule it's interesting to note that the same night this victory was being aired, Stone Cold Steve Austin was jobbing to Ric Flair via pinfall live from Landover MD. Is this a harbinger of things to come for Steve Austin? Or will Stone Cold finally shatter the glass ceiling once and for all?) **PLAY of the WEEK: "Who is that mysterious blue-masked man??" (From AGPW on ASN 9/7/13) (In a match with top contender ramifications, Marvelous Marc Mero was trapped in Lance Storms sharpshooter when somebody (dressed remarkably similar to the Blue Blazer) interfered on Mero's behalf and helped him steal the victory!)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Junkyard Dog vs Test (from AGPW on ASN) (While JYD is popular, it was the postmatch shmozz ending that drew the most attention in the overrun. AGPW puts the hard sell on their upcoming Primetime Live special with show-stealing run ins from Killer Karl Krupp and Leo Burke)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (Mad Dog Vachon & Dino Bravo) (While former WWE tag champions Steve Williams & Terry Gordy continued to get the better of current champions Strike Force around the bend, and the new "team" of Chris Candido & Chris Hero (maybe) looks intriguing on the horizon (not to mention key tag team victories from Demolition in WWE & Magnus/Cesaro in AGPW)... the winner of the award this week is Montreal Mafia for their expert dismantling of #1 Contenders Team Canada after their victory. By rendering Team Canada nearly destroyed, the Mafia has assured their chances of retaining their titles at Primetime Live. I appreciate the diabolical certainty of Frenchy Martin and his men)WOMAN of the WEEK: Taylor Made (WWE) (Larry Sweeney showed the hilarious video results of Maria Kanellis and her losing "Maid for a Day" stipulation. This footage only accentuated Taylor Made's victory over Reba Sky, as she guns for Lita and the WWE Woman's championship she once held)

September 8th - September 14th ("Breaking Point") All hell finally broke loose in Mash-Up Wrestling when Vince McMahon & WWE got the answer to their "challenge". Wrestlers who may or may NOT (depending on who you talk to) have had something to do with BCCW, seemingly "invaded" portions of WWE programming this week, with dastardly results. There is no such thing as turning the other cheek here, especially with the "slap heard round the world". MATCH of the WEEK: JYD & Leo Burke vs Karl Krupp & Test (from AGPW on ASN 9/14/13) (Great TV main-event and final touch hyping the upcoming Primetime Live show. Bad guys get the victory here (3-0 for Test over Burke now), with fans clamoring for the babyface's revenge at Primetime Live. You couldn't ask for a better lead-in)PLAY of the WEEK: Alberto Del Rio sneak attacks Hulk Hogan in Dover Delaware (From WWE All-Star Wrestling- 9/13/2013, the tensions between BCCW & WWE have reached their breaking point)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Mike Awesome (BCCW) (Former T.O.X.I.C. clansman returned to action on BCCW TV Episode #23 (Fall Rush) against the men who scorned him. Mike Awesome brought some added firepower along with him in his war against the Tribe of Xtreme and secured his entry into the Slaughtahouse Stampede match)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: BCCW VP Sheldon Goldberg on WWE All-Star Wrestling- 9/13/2013 (The BCCW VP turned up on rival television to confront Shane McMahon and lay out his proposal for a BCCW vs WWE card, and upping the ante with match demands. When Stephanie McMahon had the audacity to insult Mr. Goldberg, she was answered with the now-infamous "slap heard round the world"! In some cultures it is known as a declaration of a duel. Either way, it usually means the beginning of the end...) TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Insiders (Miz/Matt Morgan/Scott Hall) (The dastardly trio continued their rise up the card by defeating the Uso's to become new #1 contenders for the BCCW 6-man Tag straps on BCCW TV Episode #23 (Fall Rush). The Insiders teased friction with "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers is about to come to a head when they face his team the Wild Samoans for the titles on the next BCCW TV Episode)WOMAN of the WEEK: Rockin Robin (WWE) (With Mildred Burke claiming a Mudpit match stipulation over Eve on BCCW TV, and Candice Michelle wreaking havoc on Pipers Pit in AGPW - the winner this week is the understated Rockin Robin, who picked up an all-important victory in her WWE - and in turn, Mash-Up Wrestling debut)

September 15th - September 21st, 2013 (Primetime Live) In the wake of the colossal BCCW vs WWE happening, the Mash-Up Wrestling universe continues to spin. In the great white North, AGPW has gathered the wrestling world hearth-side to bear witness to their next big show... Primetime Live!! Huge week of action so let's get right to the results:MATCH of the WEEK: Leo Burke vs Test (2 out of 3 Falls) (Primetime Live co-main event more than lived up to it's advanced billing, and featuring the technical mastery of Burke mixed with the arrogance and size of Test. But the big man proved to be a mere mortal after succumbing to Burke's sleeper hold and losing 2-1)PLAY of the WEEK: Trish Stratus shows up unannounced on Primetime Live (We now take you to pre-recorded action): WRESTLER of the WEEK: Stone Cold Steve Austin (renegade Austin continues his tear up the card, on the way to challenging WWE champion Ric Flair. This week Austin defeated Mr Wrestling II in the main event of WWE All-Star Wrestling 9/19/13 and had some choice words for the 4 Horseman ringleader)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Shane McMahon addresses BCCW situation (WWE All-Star Wrestling airdate 9/19/13) (We now take you to pre-recorded action): w/ TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (Dino Bravo & Mad Dog Vachon) (Frenchy Martin's crew put the spike piledriver stamp on their feud with Team Canada, when they beat the duo of Petey Williams & Eric Young to retain their tag team championships at AGPW Primetime Live)WOMAN of the WEEK: Trish Stratus (Both Rockin Robin & Bull Nakano got notable wins in WWE this week, but the biggest news was the surprise appearance of BCCW-contracted wrestler Trish Stratus on AGPW. Looks like the boys in Boston are completely losing control of their ship. Now Trish Stratus is spearheading what appears to be a usurpation attempt; drawing all the female talent North of the Border to assemble the "envy" of female wrestling leagues. I am eager to see how this unfolds)

September 22nd - September 28th 2013 (Blood on the Leaves) MATCH of the WEEK: Leo Burke vs Test (#1 Contenders Match from AGPW 9/28) (The spillover from Primetime continues with this main event barn burner on AGPW TV. Burke survived a hellacious beating to tap out Test (again!) and earn the right to face Dean Malenko for the championship in October! Huge match on the horizon that should have technical wrestling fans foaming at the mouth)PLAY of the WEEK: Buddy Rogers debuts Superfly Snuka (BCCW Fight Night (Wax) (Giving more credence to the "WWE-Guy" theory, Rogers somehow shows up with Superfly Snuka to put the nail in Tony Rumble's complaints once and for. Rogers has grown to be a key part of this whole WWE/BCCW thing and I look forward to seeing what else he has up his sleeve for the 6-man title defense on the next BCCW TV Episode)WRESTLER of the WEEK:: Yvon "Le Lion" Robert (AGPW) (The legend is finally here in Mash Up Wrestling, and there is no better place than AGPW to showcase his talents. Robert starts his career resurrection with a resounding win over Shannon Moore, and closes with a stern warning to the rest of AGPW roster, and in turn, Mash-Up Wrestling as a whole. Le Lion is here and he's gunning for the championship!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Austin rudely declines WWE invitation (WWE All-Star Wrestling airdate 9/27/13) (We now take you to pre-recorded action)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: New Fabulous Freebirds (BCCW Fight Night: Wax) (Ok I get it. It's a parody of 3MB proportion, but you know what? It's growing on me. And I like Heath Slater's spot in the group. Now the 3-man team is on the way to the Slaughtahouse Stampede match, and while I don't think they have a snowballs chance in hell of winning, they should provide comedic relief at least)WOMEN of the WEEK: Fabulous Glamour Girls (WWE) (we now take you to pre-recorded action:)

BCCW presents: Slaughtahouse Stampede 3On this episode of Mash-Up Wrestling's Highlight Center, we focus on the latest supercard from the annals of Broken City Championship Wrestling - "Slaughtahouse Stampede 3". In a cost-cutting move we are being told is similar to TNA moving a majority of their PPV events, like Destination X, Hardcore Justice and No Surrender for example to Impact, BCCW has moved some of their signature events to free TV Episodes instead. No word on whether this has something to do with the continued fallout from Heatwave and the full-court political press of Vince McMahon and his television network associates.-- see BCCW TV Episode #24 (Slaughtahouse Stampede 3) in Mash-Up Wrestling ondemand: click here -- MATCH of the WEEK: Low-Ki vs Chris Sabin for the Flyweight championship (w/ Gus Sonnenberg special ref) (I can't speak highly enough about this match. I was intrigued by the build up, but thought it seemed a little too formulaic. I know it is for my benefit you said many people expected a GSon swerve! Instead he delivered a clean ref job ripe with dramatic moments. I'm loving your portrayal of Low-Ki as a ruthless killer and you built great sympathy for Chris Sabin as well. Overall this was just a great piece of storytelling and an excellent fight. That's what made it "Match of the Week").PLAY of the WEEK: Buddy Rogers drops Wild Samoans - joins Insiders and brings BCCW 6-Man Tag Team titles with him (Just the headline says it all. Buddy Rogers orchestrates another coup and more than fulfills his guarantee to make something big happen with the 6-man straps. I love the Insiders trio and I can't wait to see what their next move is). WRESTLER of the WEEK: Bruno Sammartino (Dusty Rhodes put on a great showing in the main event to win the Slaughtahouse Stampede match, but was swiftly executed by Killer Kowalski soon after. Meanwhile Bruno Sammartino helped quell a potential riot in the wake of the Insiders incident, and then went on to thoroughly dominate a very-game Rhino. Bruno's maverick style and fighting spirit lends a glimmer of promise to a horizon dotted with stranglehold heels).RATINGS POP of the WEEK: BCCW vs WWE: Battleground Civil War TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Insiders (Miz, Matt Morgan, Scott Hall) w/ Buddy Rogers (The already-dangerous trio advanced to an all-new level of treachery when they co-signed with "super agent to the stars" Nature Boy Buddy Rogers. He led the Wild Samoans into a massacre and sent notice to the rest of the fantasy wrestling world that he means business. To a nicer guy it couldn't happen!)WOMAN of the WEEK: Mildred Burke (Still reigning & undefeated Woman's champion, Mildred Burke adds another "Woman of the Week" honor to her resume as well. She holds the most records of any woman in fantasy wrestling today without a dent in her armor to show for it. At Slaughtahouse Stampede 3, bitter rival Eve Torres ate a face full of mud and had nothing pretty to show for it except another hard-fought Mildred Burke victory)

9/29/13 - 10/5/13 ("Breaking Bad") (Huge news this week as the oft-rumored "BCCW vs WWE" supershow finally came to fruition. October 27th promises a clash to remember. But first, family business must be settled. WWE announced a huge Ric Flair vs Steve Austin WWE title match for Saturday Night's Main Event, and BCCW is still dealing with the fallout from Slaughtahouse Stampede 3. Plus AGPW has a big Primetime show coming up the night before (October 26th) and has put the wheels in motion for another spectacular card! Let's get right to the highlights for this week)MATCH of the WEEK: RVD vs Superfly Snuka (BCCW TV Episode #25: Legendary Weapons) (Simple, concise and MSD left a ton to the imagination with this one. There were other more detailed matches this week, but nothing matches the clean simplicity of two men enter/one man wins. Plus it's good to see somebody care enough to support Snuka's rabid cocaine habit while he's on suspension from WWE!)PLAY of the WEEK: Insiders Out!! (First they looked like they were holding the 6-man titles hostage on BCCW TV, then the Insiders showed up on WWE All-Star Wrestling as Vince McMahon's hand-picked generals for the 4-on-4 war against BCCW at Civil War! It just goes to show Buddy Rogers was always the original "WWE Guy", and now he's leading troops into war against their own company!)-- Mash-Up Wrestling ondemand: Insiders Connect (click here) ---- Mash-Up Wrestling ondemand: Insiders invade ("invite?") the WWE All-Star Wrestling show (click here) --WRESTLER of the WEEK: Dusty Rhodes (Big Dust finally earned some sweet vindication when he beat Bully Ray in a Dream Match main event on BCCW TV Episode #25 (Legendary Weapons). Not only did he get that TOXIC monkey off his back, Dusty took one like a man for the downtrodden BCCW org, volunteering to join their team when it seemed nobody else would! If anybody has a legit chance to dethrone Killer Kowalski, defeat Ric Flair & Miz, and save BCCW in one fell swoop - it's the American Dream, baybee!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Another MACHO MAN sighting on AGPW!! TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Montreal Mafia (AGPW) (Although they weren't technically in "tag team" action this week - and a number of other teams had strong showings - nobody finishes business like Frenchy Martin and his men. First, Mad Dog Vachon gave Dean Malenko everything he could handle in a championship title match, eventually "winning" by DQ. But then he and his partner Dino Bravo absolutely destroy the champion Dean Malenko and #1 contender Leo Burke, including a deadly spike piledriver to Malenko! Nobody does the classic pro wrestling "hit" better than the Montreal Mafia)WOMAN of the WEEK: Bull Nakano (WWE) (On BCCW TV, Eve slapped William Muldoon with a lawsuit while Mildred Burke slapped her. In AGPW, Maryse looks great. Sherri & Taylor Wilde had a chance to make history with the 1st woman's match in company history, but wrestled to a double count-out. Meanwhile, the WWE rivalry between Lita and Maria Kanellis continues to escalate, this time with Bull Nakano picking up the incidental win. The difference here was the first 10 minutes and 19 seconds of that match, when big Bull Nakano dominated the hottest (uncrowned) woman's champion in WWE Lita. That performance alone was dominant enough to earn her first "Woman of the Week" honors. But probably far from the last...)

Once again, I just wanted to let you know that I always enjoy reading your thoughts and opinions on the weekly Mash Up Highlights report, Karl. It's nice to get a look at how each company fares against each other on a week-by-week basis. Thanks again for all of your hard work.

Thanks slade. It is a pleasure of mine to read these shows and I'm constantly amazed by the quality work you guys churn out. I've literally never seen anything else like it. I may not be able to post as much as I'd like to, perils of the job I suppose, but I always read them and share much discussion with MSD. With that said I have some catching up to do! So let's get right down to business! October 6th - October 12th ("Bone Breakers & Bombshells")MATCH of the WEEK: Yvon “Le Lion” Robert vs. Tyson Kidd (from Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling) (Just a good, hard-fought and tight technical masterpiece between these two pros and another example of the kind of combinations that make Mash-Up Wrestling so exciting) PLAY of the WEEK: Bret Hart answers ADR's open challenge (After a victory on WWE All-Star Wrestling, Bret Hart took umbrage to BCCW's Alberto Del Rio for his recent line of trash talk - and accepted his challenge for Battleground Civil War! ADR was apparently none too happy about that, and locked Bret Hart in his deadly arm breaker submission shortly thereafter! Submission match at the PPV? Count me in!)WRESTLER of the WEEK: WWE Champion Ric Flair (The Nature Boy defeated Mr Wrestling II on WWE Championship wrestling, before giving a classic Flair promo. WHOOOO! It turns out the speech was littered with red herrings, but the real target was there all along: Stone Cold Steve Austin, whom Flair would be meeting in a WWE title match at the upcoming SNME special!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Vince McMahon leaks the PPV Card for Battleground Civil War (In a "was he, or wasn't he supposed to?" kind of moment, Vince brazenly took center stage on WWE Championship Wrestling and revealed the entire card nearly a month before schedule. Consider it an amazing coincidence, but most of those matches became true at the PPV. Regardless, Vince certainly succeeded in moving the ratings needle once more)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Killer Karl Krupp & Arcadian Giant (from AGPW) (While WWE Champions Terry Gordy & Steve Williams had an explosive confrontation with manger JJ Dillon before losing to Demolition on WWE All-Star Wrestling, and technically Krupp & the Giant didn't even compete, I still nominate them for Tag Team of the week. Their partnership is disturbing and entertaining, with JYD and Bo Dallas running as perfect counterparts. We now take you to AGPW for the recap, with Mash-Up Wrestling ondemand:)WOMAN of the WEEK: Sensational Sherri (For her fiery retort and hair-pulling catfight with Taylor Wilde on AGPW. Hopefully these two ladies will be given the chance to settle their differences once and for all in the ring, after their 1st bout proved inconclusive)The new face of woman's wrestling in AGPW?
