OK so this has been a development in the works with MSD and I’m eager to see how it goes. This is a version of ESPN Sportscenter but tailored towards the Mash-Up Wrestling universe. Every week we’ll be reviewing the shows and recapping the highlights, along with picks for the following categories: Best Match of the Week Play of the Week (contains any kind of swerve, shocker or cliffhanger to rest our hat on) Wrestler of the Week Ratings Pop of the Week (the highest rated segment of the Mash Up universe that week). I’ll open with a brief Week One synopsis and see how it evolves from there. Mash-Up Wrestling Week 1The highly anticipated Event Horizon comes to a head and 4 new shows make their debut under the Mash-Up Wrestling banner, shattering records and expectations. The foundation is set when WWE All Star Wrestling packed 500+ screaming fans into the National Guard Armory to see Ric Flair pin Steve Austin. The WWE quickly followed up with the debut of Championship Wrestling and we saw Hulk Hogan defeat Tully Blanchard in a championship tourney match. An extended live tour is in place, with correspondent Mr Nitro the WWEFan on hand to report from the frontline. The sneak attack came from Memphis TN when UCW declared WARFARE on the Mash-Up Wrestling. That night we witnessed the crowning of new champions as the DX unit (X-Pac and the New Age Outlaws) rides again, and HBK Shawn Michaels advanced one step closer to becoming the UCW champion, before getting his head knocked off by a JBL Clothesline from Hell. WCW opened their doors in Atlanta and instantly became the Hollywood celebrity of the year. With Eric Bischoff in the lead, WCW has amassed a fantasy wrestling roster unlike any other and put it on full display in Week #1. Nitro closed with a bang that will reverberate through Mash Up wrestling for years to come. The Revolution is here! Finally the week ended with the crown jewel of the North, Atlantic Grand Prix opening for business. A strong historical foundation was laid and now all eyes look towards the future of this proud organization. All in all, Event Horizon was a landmark in fantasy sports and watershed moment for Mash Up Wrestling. MATCH OF THE WEEKHBK def. Chris Jericho vs. Shelton Benjamin (UCW Warfare #1) PLAY OF THE WEEKCM Punk & Kevin Steen shut down Nitro #1 WRESTLER of the WEEKLeo Burke (for his historic return, victory and subsequent challenge to Rene Dupree) RATINGS POP of the WEEKHulk Hogan beats Tully Blanchard by DQ. The ratings spike came in the overrun when Ric Flair & JJ Dillon made the 3-on-1 beat down on Hulkster, only to have Barry Windam make the save! Huge dream match promised between Hulkster and Bret Hart for next week. Thanks for tuning in, we'll see you soon with more Mash-Up Wrestling action!

WEEK 2 SUMMARY
On WCW Nitro, CM Punk & Kevin Steen explained the bombshell ending to Nitro #1 and coined themselves “the Revolution”. A world title match awaits Punk against Sting. Meanwhile, Dolph Ziggler swerved everybody (including his partner for the night Arn Anderson) when he joined Punk & Steen to further solidify their ranks.
In the WWE, Hulk Hogan finally got his win over Tully Blanchard in Salisbury as the company moved through Maryland (while Bret Hart tapped out HHH in 14 minutes of explosive action on the same card). In Ocean City, MadMan Pondo beat Eddie Guerrero while Stone Cold beat Ric Flair by DQ. When Bret Hart & Ronnie Garvin made the save, all they got from Austin was a cold finger. Finally, in Annapolis Dr Death & Terry Gordy beat the New Islanders in Tag Team title tournament action and Barry Windham/Bret Hart beat Flair & Tully when Hart submitted Blanchard with his sharpshooter.
Atlantic Grand Prix continued it’s historic return with a night of action that saw Mad Dog Vachon nearly kill young Bo Dallas, only to be run off by the debuting Junkyard Dog! Rene Dupree also soured some of his hometown fans with a controversial victory over Leo Burke that needs to be seen to be believed.
BCCW brought it all together under the Mash-Up Wrestling banner when the Insiders team of Miz, Matt Morgan and Scott Hall put the screws to Heavyweight champion Sheamus. In surprising main event action, Lou Thesz barely squeaked by with a victory over David Von Erich.
Finally UCW continues its warpath by dropping an Undertaker vs. Andre the Giant megaton bomb in their main event. The Outlaws/X Pac grouping is solidified as is JBL’s union with Beer Money. Meanwhile Raven has crept from the darkness to make his presence felt…
MATCH OF THE WEEK I was tempted to go with Andre/Taker for the historic importance. Same for Rene Dupree vs. Leo Burke and Thesz vs Von Erich, but decided against them for the slightly screwy finishes. Instead I’m going for an underrated sleeper from the WWE Live Show on 5/10/13 in Ocean City. WINNER: Tully Blanchard w/ JJ Dillon def. Bret Hart in 14:33 via slingshot suplex
PLAY OF THE WEEK Dolph Ziggler joins the Revolution on WCW Nitro. This tops everything as "Cliffhanger Ending of the Week".
WRESTLER of the WEEK Probably the last time I’ll ever write this, but the winner is Rene Dupree. Regardless of the controversial nature of his win, the kid had a ton of pressure riding on his shoulders going into this match and he delivered. A huge under fire performance from him, as well the subtle sprinklings of an all-out class war in Atlantic Grand Prix.
RATINGS POP of the WEEK Gorgeous George: This is your Life. With real Raw ratings hovering around the 3s, and the "Rock this is your life" act this is patterned off earning an 8.4 when it aired, I split the difference and considered Georgie’s rating a strong 6.5 which is roughly Attitude Era. There was definitely a spike in ratings during CM Punks opening Nitro promo (as well as for their swerve finish), and Taker vs. Andre scored exceptionally well in the overrun, but in the end Georgie peaked statistically hitting more homes than Milton Berle.

Karl,
I want to just take a moment to thank you and congratulate you for this new weekly Highlights feature. It's a very nice and concise recap of Mash-Ups weekly line up. I also really like the weekly awards.
Thanks also for picking Atlantic Grand Prix wrestlers as the wrestler of the week two weeks in a row.

Thanks Slade. The shows are a joy to read and just as fun to write about. MSD and I tinkered with this concept a bit and wanted to get a broad look at the Mash-Up Universe while still celebrating individual greatness. I'm a little behind on my full show recaps but I do read every episode and find these week end summaries a great chance to go over everything again. Mash Up Wrestling is on the rise!
WEEK 3 Summary
In WWE, tournament action continues to heat up with Bret Hart beating Ric Flair in Trenton NJ. But the Nature Boy rebounds strongly with a (tainted, pre-recorded) victory over Hulk Hogan on Championship Wrestling TV on the very same night Hogan is beating Flair by DQ live in Atlantic City. Ric Flair is ultimately going on to face Barry Windham for the WWF championship next week on Championship Wrestling in a wild ride for the Horseman leader.
BCCW continues to set the standard for grandiose fantasy wrestling brilliance with "Warning Shots" from the Golden State. Kofi Kingston turns heel, the Insiders electrocute Sheamus again and Bully Ray destroys Wendi Richter to send a message. But in even bigger news, John Cena teams up with Texas Tornado who is out for blood after his brother was crippled last week on BCCW TV and BEAT the tag team of Thesz & Lewis. The end result is that Thesz will have to defend his World title against Texas Tornado on the next Episode of BCCW TV! Winner meets John Cena at Return to the Scene of the Crime!
On Fight Night, Ryback beat Umaga in an impressive match but the big news was the realization that Low-Ki was the mystery hitman who took out Paul London and Gus Sonnenberg. This kickstarted an actual riot that was thankfully diffused allowing the show to continue.
In the crown jewel of the North, Atlantic Grand Prix, the big news is the continued disrespect shown by Rene Dupree. He attacked Leo Burke after some harsh words from the legend, but was just as surprised as the rest of Canada to have Lance Storm challenge him from the front row! Dupree shows his true colors by calling for security to get Storm off. Big time controversy in the main event, with young Bo Dallas returning the favor and helping JYD when the odds were stacked against him. The official result was a no contest, but the blood feud between these parties is just beginning.
Finally in UCW we continue towards Locked & Loaded with another dangerous card. In huge Battle Royal Gauntlet Action, the mighty Batista makes leaves his mark but not before Big E. Lanston leaves with the final word. Beer Money become #1 contenders and JBL spoils Mr Kennedy's debut with a clothesline from hell. JBL wants to extol his virtues as a Wrestling God further, but Hell breaks loose (literally). In the end, heaven and earth move with the following dream match proclamation from GM Teddy Long: Taker/Andre/HBK vs JBL & Beer Money! Undertaker, Andre the Giant and Shawn Michaels on the same team?? I bet big money JBL & Beer Money are regretting their decisions now!
MATCH OF THE WEEK Alot of craziness this week across the board, with chaos, no decisions and DQs running rampant. And I'm a sucker for an old fashioned big man slobberknocker so my choice this week goes to BCCW Fight Night St Elmo's Fire for the Ryback vs Umaga main event. MSD assures me this is building towards a PPV match between Ryback and Rhino which intrigues me even more. BCCW continues to host quality match after quality match with every result meaning something. As MSD is so fond of saying, "ain't no jobber squashes over here boyeeee!". Even though Crown Jewels are about as jobber-riffic as you can be without being named 3MB.
PLAY OF THE WEEK I was going to give the nod to BCCW President Paul Bowser for his on the scene decree to make Lou Thesz defend his World championship against Texas Tornado. But as much as a fantasy wrestling dream match that is in it's own right, the winner of Play of this Week is UCW and GM Teddy Long for their huge 6-man proclamation for next week. HBK/Andre/Undertaker against JBL & Beer Money. The Mash-Up Wrestling universe continues to churn out more fantasy dream matches on a consistent basis than I've ever seen before. Amazing stuff and great way to capture the fans imagination.
WRESTLER of the WEEK Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich. For his amazing and emotional victory with John Cena on BCCW TV Episode #15 and the promise of a World title shot next week. Can Kerry relive his 1984 heyday and win one for his brother David?? Or will Thesz and his Administration of Terror continue to reign? Tune in next week to find out!
RATINGS POP of the WEEK It's somewhat of a composite score this week. Because BCCW, UCW and WCW have better cable penetration (hitting bigger shares of the market than Atlantic Grand Prix) they tend to skew higher. But when taking into account the regional markets and other factors, the actual number of EYES on the product hit a weekly peak for our winner tonight: Atlantic Grand Prix for the intro and opening moments of Junkyard Dog (in-ring debut) versus Amish Roadkill. Ratings peaked during the key segment when young Bo Dallas made the heroic run in and helped JYD even the odds. "Most over man in professional wrestling today"? JYD helped prove it with a huge ratings boost for Atlantic Grand Prix.
TAG TEAM OF THE WEEK Beer Money: They beat the dynamic team of Super Crazy & Psychosis clean to earn a shot at the Tag Team straps in UCW. They've also formed a formidable alliance with JBL, but we shall see if they can survive next weeks 6-man tag team main event...
WOMAN of the WEEK Mildred Burke: BCCW is the only organization with a steady woman's division and Mildred Burke has been the monarch of this division for a while now. This week she survived the team of Tamina & Combat Toyoda in a handicap match disguised as a Triple Threat. Fortunately Mildred won, but unfortunately she was attacked by her opponents after the match and may have suffered an injury. Either way, Burke is still on top of the woman's division. Again. For now.
That's all for this week folks! Enjoy the shows!

WEEK 4
MATCH OF THE WEEK Lou Thesz defends the World championship against Texas Tornado Kerry Von Erich (from BCCW TV Episode #16 Must See Destruction)
PLAY OF THE WEEK AGPW for Cuban Assassin squared?!? I've heard of multiple Doinks, Bellas twin magic & Killer Bee/Demo switches... but two Cuban Assassins??? Now I've seen everything!
WRESTLER of the WEEK BRET HART: The WWE IC champion had a rocking week, defending the title against Steve Austin, Tully Blanchard and Kevin Sullivan - all successfully - and all with the sharpshooter.
RATINGS POP of the WEEK Macho Man Randy Savage comes to Mash Up Wrestling: Part of the "Summer of Madness" expansion draft newsflash that popped up on BCCW TV Episode #16.
TAG TEAM OF THE WEEK Dino Bravo & MadDog Vachon: Part of Frenchy Martin's stable, they've been a constant threat since Day #1 and have it out for Bo Dallas & JYD. Bravo & Vachon get an impressive win over the Southern Boys on AGPW TV to keep them looking like a threat.
WOMAN of the WEEK Candice Michelle: Her first week in the game and already she's starting chaos. She worked her charms on Eric Young, had Johnny Devine leering at her and in the end caused Mero more harm than good when he was attacked from behind. Still, her man gets a victory (albeit DQ) and suddenly Sunny isn't the only vixen in AGPW with deadly sex appeal.

Bigger, better, bolder. That's been the Mash-Up Wrestling mission statement since day one, and after their first month in business it's never been hotter. The universe continues to grow and expand with well-balanced rosters and exciting storylines. BCCW & UCW hosted huge super cards. The WWE continues to promote the most amazing house show circuit in the game. Atlantic Grand Prix dominates fantasy wrestling in Canada like no other organization before it. This is Mash-Up Wrestling and it's the best thing going today.
Match of the Week: Rob Van Dam vs John Morrison vs Kofi Kingston, Best of 7 Series Match #3 (from Return to the Scene of the Crime) On a week dotted with title defenses across multiple companies that ended in screw jobs or controversies, this match was a refreshing change of pace. 3 amazing athletes competing over pride, honor and hard-nosed sportsmanship. They exemplify what this great sport is about.
Play of the Week: JBL uses Beer Money to buy his way to the 1st UCW championship (Locked & Loaded)
Wrestler of the Week: Killer Kowalski (The Golden Age horror cashed in his Money-in-the-Bank briefcase on an electrified Sheamus to become only the 2nd BCCW Heavyweight champion in company history. The rest of the title lineage extended back to the XPW days)
Ratings Pop of the Week: Both BCCW and UCW had go-home TV shows this week to promote their respective PPVs, so their viewing audiences were considerably larger. BCCW Fight Night (The Next Episode) ended with Kofi vs RVD vs John Morrison Best of 7 series #2 that drew an impressive 6.5 rating. But the biggest bump of the week came on UCW Episode #4 for this weeks winner: HBK/Andre/Undertaker vs JBL/Beer Money (6-man tag team match from UCW Episode #4) They came together for an Attitude Era rating of 8.0 during the overrun. Impressive stuff.
Tag Team of the Week: Headhunterz (BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champions retained their titles in a hard-fought ladder match at Return to the Scene of the Crime)
Woman of the Week: Mildred Burke. (2 time winner of the award, Mildred Burke does it again this week with an impressive victory over rival champion MsChif at Return to the Scene of the Crime. Great piece of historical fiction from the man who practices the craft, MSD!

Big news this week was the "Summer of Madness" Expansion draft. I bore witness to the very 1st Mash-Up Wrestling draft in Rio de Janeiro Brazil and boy was that a doozy. Things were much more civil this round instead of the lunges, cuss words and death threats that went down that day. In draft day action the Mash-Up Posse divvied up their spoils and stocked their cabinets for a rainy day. The results of the draft:
1) rexxxx: BOOKER T 2) slade: RANDY SAVAGE w/ Elizabeth 3) MSD: DUSTY RHODES 4) wwefan: STRIKE FORCE (Martel & Santana) 5) dangerrick: POWERS of PAIN (Warlord & Barbarian)
6) rexxxx: HARDY BOYZ 7) slade: ROWDY RODDY PIPER 8) MSD: ROMAN REIGNS 9) wwefan: MICKIE JAMES 10) dangerrick: BIG SHOW
11) rexxxx: AJ LEE 12) slade: KURRGAN 13) MSD: NIKITA KOLOFF 14) wwefan: ERNIE LADD 15) dangerrick: KOKO B. WARE
16) rexxxx: BETH PHOENIX 17) MSD (from slade): KAMALA 18) MSD: FABULOUS FREEBIRDS (Hayes & Roberts) 19) wwefan: SUPERFLY JIMMY SNUKA 20) dangerrick: JOEY STYLES
Meanwhile in the ring, action continues to intensify in Mash-Up Wrestling arenas world wide. The world now begins to brace for the "super card" phenomenon. Fallout from "Locked & Loaded" happens in UCW with all signs pointing towards their next explosive supercard "High Voltage". Meanwhile the new "Mash Up Minute" hotline has been buzzing with the word of a 3-hour AGPW spectacular coming up in July. This would be the first "super card"-like show of AGPW's new tenure. Plus WWE takes over the PPV airwaves with their first supercard "Summerslam". All this, plus the biggest show of the year. The supercard to end all supercards, BCCW presents BiB3. Coming live from Boston at the end of the month. Mash-Up Wrestling explodes into the big time! Now, let's get to the weekly highlight show!
Match of the Week: Hardy Boyz (debut) versus Beer Money (UCW Episode #5) (The Hardyz are successful in their debut, but Jeff is nearly killed by a beer bottle shot and the feud may be over before it starts)
Play of the Week: Big E. Langston & the Cabinet (Another cliffhanger ending, this one from UCW. The main event match between UCW champion JBL versus HBK ended controversially when Langston appeared to distract Michaels. When Langston's recent foe Batista ran down to jump on him, Langston suddenly had Beer Money in his corner to turn the tables on the Animal Batista. Is their a new alliance in place? A powerful asset added to the Cabinet's core? Tune in next week to UCW TV and find out!)
Wrestler of the Week: Lance Storm (Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling) (Storm earned a contract with the company and a stake in their first championship tourney with his win over the owners son Rene Dupree)
Ratings Pop of the Week: Vince McMahon announces WWE Summerslam live from Madison Square Garden on August 25th (WWE Championship Wrestling air date 6/8/13) (WWE had been hyping this announcement for some time and through many of their various media channels. So all eyes are watching when Vince opened this episode of WWE Championship Wrestling with the breaking news)
Tag Team of the Week: WWE Tag Team champions Steve "Dr Death" Williams & Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (Members of the new look 4 Horsemen had an impressive week of victories over teams like Ronnie Garvin/Terry Taylor, the Youngbloods and others).
Woman of the Week: Lita (WWE Woman's champion) (She traded tag team wins with Scarlett & Taylor Made, but always came out on top when it mattered. She continues to be the standard-bearer for WWE woman's wrestling)

Week 7 Review (June 9th - 15th)
Match of the Week: Steve Austin beat Hulk Hogan in 13:08 with the stunner as Hogan was trying for the slam (from WWE Live Event: 6/13/2013, Lowell, Mass)
Play of the Week: Dusty Rhodes shows up on BCCW TV Episode #17 to challenge Strangler Lewis to a match, and assures Strangler remains preoccupied while Lou Thesz defends the title against John Cena on the same night. BCCW presents Bedlam in Boston 3, coming soon!
Wrestler of the Week: Dino Bravo (There were big weeks by many names across the federations, but Bravo's choice is a combination of multiple factors. Not only did he advance in the International Heavyweight tourney, he derailed the Lance Storm hype-train and helped the Montreal Mafia go 2-0 on AGPW on ASN 6/15)
Ratings Pop of the Week: Shane McMahon announces Fatal 4-Way Main Event with the WWE title on the line for Summerslam (WWE All-Star Wrestling- 6/14/2013)
Tag Team of the Week: Wild Samoans (They finally found the guiding light they needed when "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers revealed his latest free-agent signings on BCCW Fight Night XVII)
Woman of the Week: Alexxis Nevaeh (The New England local defeated fellow territorial counterpart and ex-stablemate April Hunter on BCCW Fight Night XVII and seemingly moved back into the fans good graces by reuniting with Trish Stratus post match)

Week 8 review (June 16th - 22) Match of the Week: Kofi Kingston vs RVD vs John Morrison (Best of 7 Series Match #5: Tables) from BCCW TV Episode #18 (Celebrating 50 Years) Play of the Week: Jersey Shore & Marc Mero combine to destroy Team Canada in a Tag Team Steel Cage match (AGPW TV June 22nd) Wrestler of the Week: WWE Champion Barry Windham (his successful run of high caliber victories was matched only by Hulk Hogan. But where Windham remain undefeated for the week, Hogan suffered a Double DQ in a WWE Live Event on 6/22/2013 from the Langhorne, PA Convention Center. So the WWE champion and his famed lariat reigns supreme as Wrestler of the Week) Ratings Pop of the Week: BCCW TV Episode #18 spiked the ratings with the historic Goldberg/Ultimate Warrior face off and subsequent title challenge. Tag Team of the Week: La Resistance (in AGPW). I feel this is the start of something big for these two, who have finally found a home in fantasy wrestling. Literally. Woman of the Week: NEW WWE Woman's champion Taylor Made. She beat incumbent champion Lita at the live WWE event in Pittsburgh (from 6/21/2013), and went on to her first successful title defense against Maria in the week. Great run for Larry Sweeny's crown jewel.

Week 9 review (June 23rd - 29th) Match of the Week: Big E Langston vs Batista (UCW #6) ("The Main event before the Main Event" lived up to its advanced billing. The DQ ending only furthered their development and keeps me looking forward to their next clash, presumably at High Voltage)Play of the Week: Maryse debuts MAGNUS on AGPW (6/29/13) (The future of wrestling is here in Atlantic Grand Prix, and boy does it look pretty)Wrestler of the Week: BCCW HW champion Killer Kowalski (Defeated former pupil Tommaso Ciampa on BCCW TV Episode #19 and looks exceptionally strong going into his PPV title defense against Sheamus)Ratings Pop of the Week: Bruno Sammartino returns on BCCW TV Episode #19 (City of Champions 2) and challenges Mark Henry to a PPV match! (Battle of the Celestial Strongmen!)Tag Team of the Week: WWE Tag Team champions Dr Death Steve Williams & Terry "Bam Bam" Gordy (They are so confident in their streak of title defenses & 4 Horsemen affiliation, that they challenged ANY TAG TEAM IN THE MASH-UP WRESTLING UNIVERSE to earn a title shot against them at Summerslam! (see WWE Championship Wrestling- 6/29/2013)
Woman of the Week: WWE Woman's champion Taylor Made (For the 2nd week in a row, the WWE Woman's champion and Larry Sweeney's crown jewel sees the most action & clinches the most victories, retaining her title on the notorious WWE House Show circuit)

Week 10 Review (June 30th - July 6th) MATCH OF THE WEEK: AGPW: Quadruple Threat to Win the 10-Minute Elimination Immunity (Junkyard Dog vs. TAKA Michinoku vs. Trevor Murdoch vs. Mad Dog Vachon w/ Frenchy Martin) (Chock full of excitement with big ramifications. Plus Trevor Murdoch picked up the win!)PLAY of the WEEK: Stone Cold vs 7-11 on on WWE All-Star Wrestling- 7/5/2013) (What does the Rattlesnake really have against slurpees anyway??)WRESTLER of the WEEK: Leo Burke (AGPW) (Tough victory over Sylvan Grenier keeps Burke at the top of the card... IF they can survive the Loser Leave Town match on Primetime Live!!)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Mildred Burke appears on EXTRA! with Maria Menonous (BCCW Fight Night Happy 4th of July) (Eve & Sable showed up to rain on their parade and give us a celebrity match at BiB3 to look forward to)TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Strike Force (Tito Santana & Rick Martel) (the duo stormed into WWE Championship Wrestling on 7/6/2013 to upset reigning tag champs Williams & Gordy and look like strong contenders heading into Summerslam)WOMAN of the WEEK: Two of them this week - Woman's champion Mildred Burke & Maria Menonous for their mainstream pow-wow that helped draw more eyes to the product heading into BiB3)[/i]

This week it was all about the super card. Bedlam in Boston 3 presented by BCCW, the signature event of their calender year. We're running a special Highlight Center dedicated to this show. I've spoken on the topic of this show privately and publicly and it's all pretty glowing praise. But there were a few things I didn't agree with. 1) The "retirement stipulation" stuff. Henry vs Sammartino: Is it or was it not a retirement match? That seemed to be the rationale behind moving the Sammartino/Henry to co-main event, yet by the time we got to that match the stipulation was vaguely mentioned. 2) The odd finish with Crusher Casey that too closely mimicked the ending to the Trish match earlier on the prelims. I can say after backstage consultations, that BCCW lost faith in Crusher Casey as a main event draw. Twice. MSD spent all this time in the spring booking an inevitable Crusher Casey vs Sheamus match, only to book it in all places Dallas TX. So when it failed to catch fire at the box office, Sammartino was hastily inserted (see Night of Champions 3). Then all things were pointing toward a Crusher Casey redemption match at BiB3 over the guy who smashed him at "Return to the Scene of the Crime" (Mark Henry) - IN HIS HOMETOWN OF BOSTON mind you - but once again Crusher was pulled & Sammartino inserted into the match with Mark Henry. With a retirement stipulation that may or may not have been included. 3) But the big thing I didn't like was The Firm revealing Killer Kowalski as being among the Illuminati. I know you explained Wild Red Berry is a former manager to Killer IRL, but the reveal seemed shallow and contrived. It seemed like you were booking the Illuminati to be a huge occurrence, but then changed mid-stream and threw this together as an afterthought. Combined with the fact you were still searching for a legit finish to that match hours before posting indicates to me the "Firm reveal" was a last minute addition. It will work, cuz I know you'll make it. But as a Ravenloft fan I was just hoping for something bigger from the "Illuminati". Anyways, it's still an incredible show that sets a standard I see hard to surpass! Now on with the highlights!! MATCH of the WEEK: John Cena def. Lou Thesz (c) for the World Championship (Iron Man Match, BiB3) (The culmination of all things vast & heroic. It was also the perfect write up to end the show; personal, triumphant yet humble & leaving plenty to the imagination. The Champ is HERE.PLAY of the WEEK: "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers receives Vince McMahon Sr Memorial Cup for his 6-Man title victory. (Haha, nice play sir. Nice play. And to a nicer guy it couldn't happen!)WRESTLER of the WEEK: John Cena (duh) RATINGS POP of the WEEK: Since we're talking PPV numbers here, let's temporarily rename this "Fan Pop of the Night". There were many many memorable moments, but I'm going for one that personally delivered for me: EVENT HORIZON named #1 Top 50 Moment in Fantasy Wrestling History. It was the perfect choice and I should have seen it coming. I am grateful to be apart of this experience with you guys and look forward to many more wonderful shows! TAG TEAM of the WEEK: Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers and his new BCCW 6-Man Tag Team champion WILD SAMOANS feat: Umaga! WOMEN of the WEEK: Mildred Burke & Maria Menonous (The perfect mix of sweet & sour on the biggest stage, as well as a valuable buffer in between main event matches. Even though Trish Stratus and her kick-ass heel turn would beg to differ!).

OOC: I just wanted to apologize again for my absence, but I definitely didn't want to let this thread die. It's a great monument to what we've started and just plain fun to read back through over time. So I'm on the catch up trail! July 14th - July 20th ("The Return of Karl Hugo")(What was the biggest moment this week? 1st ever AGPW champion? Vince McMahon Senior Memorial Cup? The "Summerslam Challenge"? Answer: the return of Karl Hugo to the motherland)MATCH of the WEEK: International Heavyweight Championship Match (Chris Candido w/ Sunny vs. “The Iceman” Dean Malenko) (From AGPW Primetime LIVE) The tournament for the 1st ever company champion comes to it's thrilling conclusion. On what has been the biggest card of the year so far for AGPW, Malenko & Candido put on a virtual wrestling masterpiece. Even better, it ended clean & solid with a Dean Malenko submission. The 1997 PWI Wrestler of the Year is a great standard-bearer for AGPW)PLAY of the WEEK:: Uso's destroy the Vince Senior Memorial Cup Trophy (BCCW Fight Night: Revolution Cocktail) (It was funny when it started, and inevitable the way it ended. I loved it the entire time. Will we finally see Buddy Rogers get the stinkface???)** Special mention: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Mr DeYoung of the 7-11 convience store chain (from WWE All-Star Wrestling- 7/19/2013) ** WRESTLER of the WEEK: Dean Malenko (AGPW) (Becomes the 1st International Heavyweight champion in company history)RATINGS POP of the WEEK: John Cena makes "Summerslam Challenge" Official (BCCW TV Episode #20: The One World Champ Iz Here)This was a huge post-BiB3 show that sparked ratings as soon as the potential of a WWE-Crossover event was mentioned. It built gradually over the show before peaking in the main event promo when Cena announced the World title will be defended at Summerslam. This particular challenge was answered directly by Vince McMahon on the 7/19 episode of WWE All-Star Wrestling and the lead-in gave them a ratings boost as well. So far, the WWE/BCCW feud is picking up steam with the fans! TAG TEAM of the WEEK Al Snow and... MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE?!? (from AGPW Primetime LIVE) (yes, that's right, the Macho Man makes his Mash-Up Wrestling debut in AGPW as the mystery partner of Al Snow in his feud against the twin Cuban Assassins. Exciting debut (one of many this night) and just a hint of what is to come for Savage in AGPW)WOMAN of the WEEK WWE Woman's Champion Taylor Made (3x winner of this award) ** HONORARY AWARD **Overall Event of the Week: AGPW Primetime LIVE (Incredible card through-and-through)
