INTRO** CUT TO RING ** ___________________________________________________________________KILO versus FRENCH ANGEL(“Ambulance Match”)versus Show opens with the ominous sounds of wailing sirens, as if you’ve unwittingly stumbled upon a crime scene… with red and blue lights flashing (it’s either time to retire or turn this place into a structure fire), an ambulance can be seen backing slowly up the entrance - stopping halfway between the ring… Ladies and gentleman, our first match tonight is an “AMBULANCE MATCH”! Video highlight reel (in a horror movie style) of Kilo kidnapping Sammi Lane - the French Angel’s frantic search for her - before culminating in Angel’s vicious beat down, and his witness of Lane’s “demise” when Kilo power bombed her from the ring… it is akin to Brandon Lee being forced to watch everything he loved get taken away in The Crow… French Angel has turned into an absolute beast… but the coked-up, wild eyed Kilo is literally impervious to pain (ala WWF Zeus 1989)… Behind the scenes, there was much legitimate concern over the bump Sammi Lane took on XPW Online #22... Further replay show her tiny frail body was clearly overshot, barely grazing and breaking the table with her lower back and rear - the most forceful impact was sustained directly on the back of her head, on exposed cement. Accident? Folly? Or driven by design? That’s supposed to leave you guessing. And that incident is a tribute to 2 famous spots in wrestling history - the Lizzy Borden/Vic Grimes power bomb spot that went off exactly as a I described above (find video of it, she smashes her head) - and the “Kristy Myst gets choke slammed by Nicole Bass twice” incident, in which the 2nd one was supposedly off script and demanded by Robert Black as a lesson in respect (just like Jimmy Henchman arranged 2Pac’s Quad Studio shooting in 1994 over a matter of teaching him “respect”)… the Kristy Myst story comes straight from her RF Shoot video (topless and all)…
Story of the fight itself is a tribute to Shane McMahon versus Kane in an Ambulance Match from Survivor Series 2003... one of my favorite matches of all time. Kilo is the unstoppable monster - Angel the man driven by irrational, emotional vengeance... and you see a side of Angel in combat you've never seen... at one point during their backstage brawl, Angel actually hijacks a nearby vehicle and backs it up right into Kilo with maximum velocity! The impact of the car hit drives Kilo right through the glass window of a nearby security booth, and that's the closest Angel gets to calling in a nearby ambulance... Kilo fights back like Jason Vorhees on crack and the fight resumes back near the ringside area... a ton of crushing spots involving the ambulance - including Kilo taking a SICK unprotected ambulance door shot to the skull... in the end, not even a spear from Angel OFF the roof of the ambulance that drove Kilo through a set of nearby boxes and crates could end the match in his favor... Kilo fought back - hit a variation of his sick fat-guy sit-out piledriver (ala Rikishi) on the STEEL RAMP - and stuffed Angel in the ambulance, before shutting the door; ending the match... wild, coke-eyed close-ups of a frenzied Kilo post match grinning and threatening the booing the crowd around him... evil continues to pervade XPW Remixed...Winner: KILO** CUT ** ** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **The inner sanctum of the Black Army, with Rob Black at the head of the table... things are unfolding exactly as they should - and after tonight they will control the King of the Death match championship and the office of XPW Commissioner... right hand consigliore Jack Pfefer proposes a toast to their new reign of power... champagne glasses rise and clink... God Bless America...** CUT ** ____________________________________________________________JINDER MAHAL (2014) versus GREAT GAMA(“Falls Count Anywhere Match)versus The video highlight package for Mahal vs. Gama is wrought with political and sociological undertones… the Punjabi hierarchy, honor and tradition, the Gurz, past fantasy relationship between Gama & Mahal (including Mahal ending Gama’s hallowed undefeated streak)… by the time we get to the live Taser part (one of the most Xtreme moments in company history), the table has been set for a vicious war… one that cannot be contained by the laws of the ring - and one that continues the theme of anarchy and chaos within this XPW Online bunker… at first it seems the match rules were laid out by Mahal as a way for him to FLEE Great Gama! After a few impressive spots in the ring by Gama, Mahal quickly runs away with Gama in hot pursuit… but it gives Gama a chance to flex all the strong man feats that made instant sensations of guys like Big Show & Mark Henry… in this case Gama is overthrowing entire ringside barricades, pitching stage spotlights, and even rolling over a small humvee that Jinder Mahal sought refuge behind! It puts Gama over for brute force and he finally gets his hands on Mahal to earn vindication… but Jinder Mahal proves to be the brains of the matter, when all of the sudden out of nowhere - it winds up being a suicide dive from a backstage crane (with a steel chair) driving Gama through a series of tables from an unforeseen assailant that ends the match in Mahal’s favor… it is none other than the homicidal, suicidal, genocidal madman SABU! He just jumped nearly 30 feet to cave Gama's skull in with an Arabian Face buster! All for his new master! Mahal gets the pin, and it is quickly revealed that Mahal has been the mastermind in constraining and unleashing Sabu all along… Solie & Striker surmise this may have been the ace in the hole Mahal had in mind when he declared this match stipulation… regardless, the greatest Punjabi wrestler of ALL TIME (Jinder Mahal) once again proves his royal dominance… stern anti-American rheotoric during a time American sacrifices are made a premium... Mahal is right back to earning nucleaur heat...WINNER: JINDER MAHAL (2014) ** CUT ** ** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **Back in the Black Army inner sanctum, Rob Black is having a meeting with Dean Ambrose... Dean actually talks himself OUT of having to participate in the "Cage of Death" match, in order to focus on "larger objectives"... Black is not too fond of the decision, but there's little his money-mark, fan-boy ass can do about it... meanwhile in the background, it's clear that Onita and Kevin Sullivan's ears perk up at the sound of a possible power vacuum (when it comes to CoD Team Captain)...** CUT TO RING ** _________________________________________________________________PHIL “GUNNER” SHATTER (w/ Jessica Darlin) versus MIL MASCARAS(“Impromptu Challenge”) w/ versus Gunner gets in a few elbows, but Mascaras hits a knee to the gut and gives Gunner some stiff chops... Muay-thai clinch from Mascaras, and he aggressively drives his knee into Gunner’s head multiple times (drawing huge cheers for her ferocity), then grounds Gunner with a side headlock takeover… Gunner fights back to his feet and hammers Mascaras into the corner with huge shoulder thrusts and stomps… Enraged from Mascaras’ fast start, Gunner just starts choking the shit out of him in the corner… finally the ref separates the two, and Mascaras uses that moment to answer Gunner with a standing dropkick to the face… A series of running dropkicks bounces Gunner off the mat like a tennis ball, and finally Mascaras finishes the series of moves with a cross body flying chop… Gunner rolls out of the ring to regroup with Jessica Darlin and absorb the crowd boos… Back in the ring, a power exchange goes Gunner’s way and he sends Mascaras off the ropes into a stiff elbow… A clothesline takes Mascaras over the top rope, and the match continues ringside… Gunner follows with a double axe-handle off the ring apron, and then hurls Mascaras into the steel steps HARD… he and Jessica Darlin take time to taunt Mascaras and make-out over his body… Gunner rolls Mill back into the ring and continues the assault… Slow-down mat segment with Gunner applying neck cranks and shoulder-locks… when Mascaras makes the brief comeback, Gunner quickly cuts it off with a knee to the gut… Gunner hits another thunder lariat that sends Mascaras through the middle ropes back to the floor… Gunner (full of cocky heel-ish authority) demands Jessica Darlin retrieve a Kendo stick from beneath the ring… Gunner gets the weapon in his hand - cuts off another quick baby face rally from Mascaras - before using the Kendo stick to pulverize Mascaras! Back in the ring and Gunner is just stalking a wounded Mascaras like a deer hunter… AK-47 in his hands - unsuspecting, defenseless little creature in plain sight… on commentary Solie is imploring Gunner to go for the pin and end this massacre… but he doesn’t and after a few impressive power spots, lands a stiff F5 onto Mascaras for the finish… Solie criticizes the ref for being so lax on the rules in this match, but Striker credits it to the entire atmosphere of tonight’s event… Gunner has the victory, but instead of going for the pin (again) - he calls for something else from Jessica Darlin - what looks like a small handheld wire cutter… and when Gunner gets the tool in his hand, his intent becomes quickly apparent - he’s going to take Mascaras mask by any means necessary! This harkens back to Gunner’s original attempt to demask Mil (see XPW Online #22), but he was stymied by another mask on beneath the first… but with the crowd cheering Mascaras he on, he fights back - his entire life on the line… Rocks him with a few fight hands and knees… dropkicks… Mascaras hits a running bulldog on Gunner, and gets his closest 2-count of the night… but Jessica Darlin hops up on the apron for the distraction… Mascaras approaches - Gunner attempts a swing with the Kendo stick but Mascaras ducks… and Gunner stops in mid-swing JUUUUUUST as he was about to hit Jessica Darlin… they have a moment where they share a shocked look, before Mascaras hit’s a pinpoint dropkick to the back of Gunners head that drives him RIGHT INTO his valet! Jessica Darlin plunges off the ring apron onto the floor, and Mascaras rolls up Gunner from behind! 1!.. 2!.. 3! He gets the win and quickly rolls out of the ring and up the ramp! Mascaras has done it against all odds! He sells his wounds (with the camera close-up of numerous raised welts upon his body from the Kendo stick) as Gunner & Darlin make bugged-out, angry exaggerated facial expression in the ring - selling their shock and outrage… Gunner’s mean streak and desire to utterly humiliate Mascaras cost him a victory tonight - but Mil can barely drag his body backstage… so who’s the real winner? Winner (?): MIL MASCARAS____________________________________________________________________Dueling promos from each camp promising death and destruction...** Cage of Death **CZWO versus BLACK ARMY** King of the Death Match championship ** Versus Obscene violence is the hallmark of this story-arc, feud and match… CZWO (led by Zandig) rose up at “Baptized in Blood” hellbent on taking the ToD trophy & KotDM crown… they failed in their bid, but so did the Black Army (they were all defeated by Death Match martyr “Sick” Nick Mondo)… now while Zandig grew to respect Mondo’s sacrifice, the Black Army respect nothing… Sami Callihan & Jun Kasai start the match for their teams and the ultra-violent quotient rises considerably… stiff, Japanese strong-style from the two of them - before “Prince of Darkness” Kevin Sullivan (1982) joins his partner Kasai in double-teaming Callihan (the “bad guys” always seem to win the coin flip in these things)… Messiah is Entrant #4 and evens things up for the CZWO… Onita follows @ #5 and MadMan Pondo for the CZWO @ #6... Wild, flesh-tearing brawl that defies description… seek out some Original Cage of Death matches for an example… Snuff enters last for the bad guys and single-handily takes the CZWO out one-by-one… Snuff is being portrayed like Kane 1997; nearly unstoppable… finally the last entrant (ZANDIG) makes his entrance and the “match beyond” begins… cage roof lowers with hanging weapons and the blood bath continues… thumbtacks, glass, barbed wire, tables and other implements of destruction are brought into the fray… multiple storylines run parallel - including the friend/friction between Callihan & Messiah… and the evil power struggle between Sullivan & Onita (each who believe THEY should be team leader in the absence of Dean Ambrose)… sick bumps are had from all, disposing of them one-by-one until only big bad SNUFF is left in there against Zandig… they have a competent big man match, until jealously rears its ugly head when Onita “accidentally” collides with the back of Snuff’s knee as he held Zandig up in choke slam position… the hit buckles Snuff, and he winds up catching a Falcon Arrow from Zandig through a barbed wire board… Sullivan and Onita show evil cannot coexist and start brawling with each OTHER allowing Zandig to cover Snuff for the pin! The CZWO has done it! And Zandig is the new King of the Death Match champion! THE UPRISING IS COMPLETE!! Winners: CZWO ** CUT ** ** BACKSTAGE OUTRO ** Final shot from inside the inner sanctum, and Rob Black is tearing the place APART in a rage! His Roman Empire was just defeated in battle, bringing great dishonor! Rob Black makes an eerie proclamation, declaring he will have BLOOD and will reassert his dominance by the end of the night... by any means necessary... the champagne mingles with broken glass to cement Rob Blacks pledge...** FADE OUT ** ____________________________________________________________

versus CHYNA (w/ Lizzy Borden) versus w/ Awesome Kong winds up winning, but not before a hellacious, brutish and stiff bout the likes of which you've never seen in woman's competition before... match lasts a shade under 7 minutes and both woman give it everything they got... Awesome Kong is actually in a predicament of great danger for once in her XPW Remixed career... but even Lizzy Borden's malicious ringside presence can't halt the Awesome freight train... spinning backfist/implant buster combination plants Chyna for good... and earns Awesome Kong undeniable CHEERS for once in her XPW Remixed career as well... post match her dominance is unquestioned, and even Lizzy Borden doesn't contemplate taking this any further... Winner (and STILL XPW Woman's champion): AWESOME KONG** CUT ** _______________________________________________________________________HUMAN TORNADO versus ALEX RILEY (w/ Missy Hyatt) versus w/ This is the crowd pleasing “entertainment” portion of our segment tonight… the laugh-out-loud antics of the Human Tornado, contrasted by the snobby arrogance of Riley & Hyatt… segment starts with Riley and Hyatt badmouthing Human Tornado on the mic in the ring, before his smart-mouth retort… Human Tornado has been on the rise in XPW remixed and feeling a surge of momentum from the crowd… a real grass roots support, ala Zach Ryder circa 2011... And this outing is the perfect opportunity to get him over further in front of a live national audience… he gets to play all his tricks and antics, including the Jive Soul Bro two-step stomps in the corner, and his collection of risk-taking high-flying antics… as is common in her matches, Missy Hyatt has a habit of turning to apply make-up or fix her hair when Alex Riley is in trouble… not offering him a lick of support… only when he is successful does she pay him any mind… in the end Human Tornado proves once and for all he has balls of steel when he no-sells a low blow from Hyatt - shimmy shakes her ass right out of the ring - and finishes Alex Riley for the cover. Human Tornado gets to party down with the live crowd, including getting a few ringside kids into the ring like he’s a beanpole Funkasaurus…Winner: HUMAN TORNADO ** CUT ** ** BACKSTAGE INTERVIEW **MSD catches up with former 3x XPW Remixed champion Bruno Sammartino for his thoughts on the card, main event, and if/when he will be returning to action... da Brune is enjoying his time off, eager to see Thesz defend, and hasn't decided when or if he will come back to action...** CUT TO RING ** ______________________________________________________________________HAKUSHI KURO versus WILLIAM MULDOON(“If Muldoon loses, Atsushi Onita becomes commissioner”) versus And this is the “Sportz” section of our broadcast… video recap plays like an MMA hype-reel, as we get the “once trained by Muldoon but soon betrayed him and joined with evil Onita” story arc RE: Hakushi Kuro… William Muldoon gives a brief sitdown promo from the back (taping up his fists) and paints himself as the old sheriff with one shot left in the chamber, and he aims to take down the Black Army one terror cell at a time… Onita gets to cut a promo for his silent ninja assassin and in which he outlines his plans for evil International domination - starting with becoming XPW Remixed Commissioner TONIGHT after Muldoon loses! We get the tale of the tape, height, weight, dramatic walk-outs and slow stare down… match is very much MMA oriented, but with a Hollywood fight scene kind of flair with Hakushi’s dramatic martial arts maneuvers… at one point the leg kicks become almost unbearable for Muldoon, but he shows true American grit (“USA!” chants pound behind him) and he reverts back to classic American boxing (1800s stance and everything, he uses symbolically and ironically - all of which the crowd explodes for) - and actually pummels Hakushi into near submission… there is controversy of course at ringside by Atsushi Onita to bring us back to pro wrestling reality and we’ve got our finish for the night… none other than SID FN VICIOUS shows up on the scene to counteract Onita’s interference, and POWERBOMB THE MF’r THROUGH THE RINGSIDE JUDGES SCORING TABLE!! Inside the ring Hakushi Kuro MISSES the black mist to the face spray, and winds up countered on the mat into an Anaconda Vice - where he taps out! Muldoon forces his former pupil into submission, and retains his official office title! He truly is the last sheriff of XPW Remixed! Post match, Sid has powdered out of the scene leaving Muldoon to soak in his victory... upon the entrance ramp TOMMASO CIAMPA appears - and the announcers brief you in on Ciampa's heartbreaking decision to leave the Olympia training camp behind... the split was NOT amicable and caused Muldoon alot of grief... Tommaso Ciampa simply remains standing motionless at the top of the entrance ramp - his cold blue eyes fixed upon Muldoon's in the ring... he has a new blond goatee like Hollywood Hogan, and his silent staredown of Muldoon post match is akin to Owen Hart taking in his brother Bret's celebration at WMX...Winner: WILLIAM MULDOON Former pupil Tommaso Ciampa shoots Muldoon silent daggers from the entrance ramp... what is going through his mind? ** CUT ** _________________________________________________________________** XPW Television Title **GORGEOUS GEORGE WAGNER (w/ Focus) versus ROB VAN DAM © (“Ladder Match”) w/ & versus The gold standard TV main event that puts all the pieces together into a true pro wrestling work of art… starting with the elaborate entrance of FOCUS all the way to the death-defying finish do we witness fantasy wrestling immortality… there is the humor (Gorgeous George’s initial forays prove he is fearful of heights)… the drama (RVD’s lingering knee injury compounded by further outside interference from Otunga)… and the action (RVD’s amazing ladder-related assault techniques)… RVD has to overcome a perfume spray to the eyes from GG - his desire to please the fans (he definitively takes Otunga out of the equation with a 5-Star frog splash OFF the ladder THROUGH a table!) - and his own injured appendage to retain… and he does just so, by actually DEPANTSING Gorgeous George by the tights (in one last desperate swipe at him) as George was perched at the top of the ladder about to finally grab the belt… George’s trunks came down, exposing bare white ass - making his face beet red as he tries to grasp them, and inevitably plunging off the ladder to the mat with great affect! RVD scales the ladder and gets his belt! RVD 4:20 and other pot-related insignia dot every fan sign in view… the live crowd was greeted with an ever present rap/rock concert aroma of fresh bud that only intensified after RVD’s win, as the crowds flicked their Bics in unison and lit one up for one of their one… Inhale deeply, this is fantasy wrestling nirvana…Winner (and STILL XPW TV champion): ROB VAN DAM ** CUT ** ** ANNOUNCE TABLE OUTRO ** Solie & Striker are standing by with XPW Remixed VP Joseph "Toots" Mondt who gives the Dana White PPV hard-sell to end the segment... Tag team titles, XPW Boston championship and the WORLD TITLE will be defended on live PPV! You don't want to miss this! Cut to the in-studio announce team for the evening: Gordon Solie & Matt Striker XPW Remixed sayz...“It will be the most memorable epoch in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forever more…" ** JOHN ADAMS (founding father)** CUT TO RING ** _____________________________________________________________________DEAN AMBROSE versus TAZ versus Taz theme song opens the broadcast, and the defiant “FTW” champion takes the ring… he cuts a blistering promo on the entire Territory Wars, declaring himself king of Fantasy Wrestling as he takes down every promotion and their figure-head champion one-by-one… Taz 2000 will prove himself the most dominant champion in fantasy wrestling! Taz wants a fight and doesn’t care who it is! He is answered by Black Army centerpiece Dean Ambrose! He gives a bitter, sarcastic retort to Taz on the mic before accepting his challenge… but when Ambrose turns around for one second to remove his ring coat - TAZ CHOKES HIM OUT FROM BEHIND! The bell rings to “start” the match and immediately Ambrose is tapping out! The bell rings to “STOP” the match!! It’s over in moments! Winner (by submission): TAZTaz is celebrating his victory - Ambrose complains he “wasn’t ready” - and the crowd is going crazy… suddenly SANDMAN appears out of where to cane the living crap out of Taz in the ring… vicious double-team upon Taz from Ambrose and Sandman… until “Natural Born Killaz” cuts them off! Enter New Jack! The Original Gangsta wants revenge upon Sandman and make his presence felt with hockey sticks, trash can lids and stop signs (to the head of Ambrose & Sandman)… Match turns into an impromptu tag match, with Ambrose & Sandman taking on New Jack & Taz… wild weapon filled brawl inside and outside the stands, until New Jack has Sandman alone in the ring… but he gets sneak attacked by Sandman’s newest partner (bald Necro Butcher) who actually lights HIS OWN LEG ON FIRE and leg drops New Jack through a table off the top rope… Dean Ambrose then swoops in for the quick pin on a twitching New Jack… just like that he regains his heat, and leaves the ring area promptly before Taz can get his hands on him again… Winners: DEAN AMBROSE & SANDMAN (w/ Necro Butcher)** CUT ** ________________________________________________________________MIZ & MILDRED BURKE vs. AD SANTEL & TAMINA(“No Gender Off Limits”) versus Miz & Mildred get the Hollywood entrance... Santel and his camp are portrayed like modern day Wolverines... a real tight-knit, cutthroat organization... Burke takes out Tamina, Miz outbrawls Santel, but is no match for Ad's mat work... story of the match is Burke dying to get her hands on Santel, but Ad being in no rush to do so (it's a lose/lose situation for him either way)... but in the end - after a Tamina low blow to Miz - Ad Santel sneaks up on Burke FROM THE REAR to attack and lock her in a Regal Stretch submission! The much smaller woman has no choice but to tap out in Santel's grip... and he STILL doesn't release the hold for a few precious extra seconds! Ad Santel the deadly scounderal sends another message from his camp... Winners (by submission): AD SANTEL & TAMINA** CUT ** _____________________________________________________________** 4-Way Bikini Brawl **SABLE (1998) versus SUNNY (1995) versus ANNIE SOCIAL (2010) versus JESSICA DARLIN (2001) vs. vs. vs. Sunny enters first and stole the show (and house mic from the announcer) to declare herself the original Fantasy Wrestling Diva and reveal her sexy outfit for the evening...
But Sable 1998 is arguably the hottest chick in wrestling HISTORY and her "all eyez on me" retort to Sunny brought the house down (and hands up) and made Sunny's jaw drop...
Until the angry interuption of Phil "Gunner" Shatter and his sex slave valet Jessica Darlin... he's more pissed than usual (commentators credit his on-record "loss" to Mil Mascaras on the XPW Online portion of our show this evening for that) and part of their act here involves Gunner violently ripping OFF Darlin's shirt to reveal her bare breasts! But before we can really see anything...
Annie Social fucks shit up! She runs down from the entrance curtain (full Lita 1999 gear, tanktops and cargo pants) to jump on Gunner's back! He starts trying to grab her and suddenly there's a frenzy of action! Sunny tries grabbing Sable's hair! Gunner flips Social off his back and Jessica Darlin starts ripping Annie's clothes off! (Darlin is actually wearing a peach-colored bikini top, so she technically appears "topless" from afar)...
The referees finally get Gunner out of the ring, while Annie Social (now with overflowing bra cups bouncing everywhere) fires back at Jessica Darlin... both her and Sable quickly dispose of their non-wrestling opponents before focusing on each other! They get right in each other faces, jawing and finger waving the entire time! They're breast to breast now going at each other... when Sable suddenly grabs Social by the hair... and forces a kiss on her! (!?!?) The crowd pop is GINORMOUS (biggest of the night? U decide...) for that embrace... Social is shocked on the release, and Sable just smiles at her... before kicking her in the gut and hitting a SABLEBOMB (powerbomb) for the pin!!!
Winner: SABLE (1998)** CUT ** ____________________________________________________________________________________ SHEAMUS (2012) versus MATT MORGAN (2010) w/ Buddy Rogers versus w/ After losing a small fortune and their "Diamond Dynasty" trademarks in their battle with the NAO - "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers & Matt Morgan were looking to make an impact... so they attacked former #1 Contender Sheamus and forced their way into the upper card... Morgan has shown singles potential in XPW Remixed, but now with full focus and the expertise of former XPW Remixed World Champion Buddy Rogers behind him, Matt Morgan is another beast entirely... Sheamus meanwhile remains as Over as possible, and is on the fast track towards vengeance... all of this climaxes beautifully tonight with one of the most athletic "big man" matches you've ever seen... Morgan dominated early on, but Sheamus kept up the babyface fire and the crowd got behind him... plus with Rogers on the outside, he was basically fighting 2 on 1... commentators explain how close he really came to beating Thesz for the championship, if not for that controversial call from referee Mr. Perfect at the end... Sheamus is at the top of his game... Sheamus makes small comebacks, but it isn't enough to take full control as Morgan focuses on his injured leg and knee (a result of Morgan & Rogers backstage assault from XPW TV Episode #47)... Morgan misses a charge in the corner, and Sheamus flips up to the top rope to unleash a flying shoulderblock that floored "the Blueprint" and got the crowd going... but Rogers pulls Morgan out of the ring by the foot, just narrowly avoiding a Brogue Kick attempt from Sheamus (Rogers basically saved his clients life right there)...
Sheamus goes after Rogers, but Morgan floors him with a clothesline on the hard arena floor... Morgan picks him, rams him into the ring post and then rams him into the barricade... Morgan makes it back into the ring at the 6 count, and argues with the referee a bit... that allows Rogers to SLAM Sheamus in the back of the leg with a steel chair! Sheamus struggles to his feet and is just about to re-enter the ring at 9... when a desperate Buddy Rogers clings to his good leg and holds him on the arena floor! The ref counts to 10 and Sheamus couldn't get back in the ring! BIG time boos and "bullshit" chants for that one... but Rogers & Morgan don't care, they celebrate their victory! Well... at least until an angry Sheamus storms the ring - takes them both down with repeated double ax-handle sledges to the face - and finishes with a Brogue Kick to Buddy Rogers... Sheamus pounds his chest (and sells his injured leg) to get his crowd support back, but the damage has been done. Mark one up for the bad guys here... Winner (by count-out): MATT MORGAN___________________________________________________________________** XPW Boston Championship **JOHN CENA (2012) © versus SHANE DOUGLAS (1996) versus SAMOA JOE (2006)(“Something 2 Lose” Triple Threat Match) versus w/ versus “Something 2 Lose” specialty rules summarized for this occasion:
A) If John Cena loses he is no longer XPW Boston champion B) If Samoa Joe loses he can never again compete for Boston championship. C) If Shane Douglas loses he will be FIRED from XPW Remixed!
Joe enters first - followed by Douglas & Borden - and finally John Cena… 50/50 reaction to the champ, as his whole “champion of Boston” shtick has worn thin with many older West Coast fans… 3-way staredown between the men in the ring, as the ref holds up the belt… bell tolls and we’re off… At first John Cena gets right in Samoa Joe’s face, confronting him about the cheap shot submission he locked Cena in (see XPW Online #22)… when Shane Douglas appears out of nowhere to roll Cena into a pin! Just like that! But it’s not the finish and Cena kicks out… so Douglas tries ANOTHER roll-up… when they both bounce back to their feet, Samoa Joe takes them ALL out with a wicked double-clothesline to a big pop… Leaping Pele kick from Joe to Cena’s head gets another audible “OOOOOO” - and another one for Douglas! Shane has to roll out of the ring to regroup with his manager Lizzy Borden… Joe with the Muay-Thai clinch, trying to drive his knees into Cena’s face - before relenting (when Cena keeps blocking them) to unleash a series of debilitating leg kicks… stiff shit from Samoa Joe… Now Douglas charges back into the ring, intent on tackling Samoa Joe from behind… but Joe deftly steps aside, nails him with a drop toe hold, and segues to a single-leg Boston crab on the mat! Joe releases the hold to counter a rushing Cena, and catches HIM with a reverse armbar! “JOE’S GONNA KIIIIILLLL UUUUU!!” chants start… Shane Douglas breaks it up, but Joe grounds him with a single-leg takedown… now Joe turns him around for a full Boston crab, but Cena breaks it up… he brawls with Joe into a turnbuckle corner, but Joe responds with an EXPLOSIVE overhead suplex to Cena! Joe clotheslines Cena over the top rope to the outside, and throws some stiff rights at Shane Douglas (still inside the ring)… Douglas tries an Irish Whip (shout out Danno O’Mahoney!) but Joe reverses into a sick power bomb for 2... Samoa Joe is on a tear…
Joe goes off the ropes, but Cena trips him up, pulls him out and sends Joe into the ring barricade… Shane Douglas jumps down to join the fray, but Cena nearly takes his head off with a clothesline… more trash talk between Cena & Lizzy Borden… John returns the favor by chopping the hell out of Joe’s chest before suplexing him on the entrance ramp… Cena continues to break the referees 10 count by rolling in and out of the ring… unlike creeps like Matt Morgan & Buddy Rogers, the champ doesn’t take victories like that… Cena rolls Shane Douglas back in the ring, as Joe is still down selling the suplex… Cena has Shane Douglas up on the top rope and launches him off with a huge overhead belly-to-belly suplex… by this time Joe has dragged himself to the ring apron, but Cena knocks him off with a shoulder block - propelling Joe into a ringside guardrail…
Things really picking up now… Douglas takes over on offense after a thumb to the eye of Cena… A belly to belly suplex from Shane gets a close two-count, and Lizzy Borden helps argue with the ref… Douglas tries another belly-to-belly suplex, but Cena reverses into an FUAA and plants Douglas in the center of the mat! But as he goes for the pin, Joe launches himself over the top rope with a senton - crushing Cena and forcing him to break the count! Just as quick, Joe locks on a Kokina clutch rear-naked choke to John Cena! ** Promo from Lou Thesz **** CUT TO RING ** ** XPW World Championship **LOU THESZ (1955) © versus ALBERTO DEL RIO (2011) versus A promo hyping Alberto Del Rio vs. Thesz airs.
Big time “Thesz vs. Del Rio” promo airs, with special attention paid to the serious arm injury suffered by Thesz.. He also shows up sporting a wrist wrap/soft cast tonight… Xtreme intensity from each man to begin, and just the ring introductions and walk-outs alone are epic… there is definitely something in the air tonight… They finally lock-up and fly directly into a counter hold/catch as catch can masterpiece that has the fans chanting “THIS IS AWESOME” mere moments into the match… stalemate to start with Thesz selling the arm a little… size wise both men are comparable, but Thesz has the weak appendage… so Alberto takes over and hit’s a huge huge overhead belly-to-belly suplex, and then clotheslines Thesz right out of the ring… Thesz comes back by tripping Del Rio in the ring - before grabbing him out by his legs and launching him headfirst into the ringside barricade! Ouch! Sheer aggression from the champ Lou Thesz… Thesz on offense, knocking Del Rio around the ringside area before busting him open on the steel ring steps! His bloodlust sated, Thesz rolls Del Rio back into the ring for the pin…
Del Rio attempts a comeback Thesz, but Thesz quickly cuts it off with a Thesz press and the fans are solidly behind Thesz’ nonstop, aggressive attacks on Del Rio… Thesz got Del Rio up on the corner, but the ref pried them apart and a bloody Del Rio used some questionable legal tactics to take the match back over… DDTs, body slams and stomps… Alberto Del Rio is in control and seems to be driven into a rage by the sight of his own blood… like it‘s a disgrace for him to be bleeding at the hands of Thesz… his assault upon the champ (and particularly his weakened arm) is cold and clinical… but Del Rio cannot get the arm lock on Thesz no matter how hard he tries… Commentators tell you Thesz has been training like a madman in his Shooters Club camp for counters to that move… Thesz in the corner where he eats more wicked 21st century strikes and a big énziguri kick from Del Rio that knocks him for a loop… Del Rio still working on the arm…
De Rio nearly pins Thesz with a brain buster, but Lou won’t quit… another arm-lock attempt ends with Thesz dramatically reversing it to reveal an STF attempt on the other side! Thesz is trying to lock Del Rio in the STF!! The fans chant “MAKE HIM TAP!”, but Del Rio makes the ropes before Thesz can cinch it in fully… Del Rio says “F RULES” and tries to kick Thesz in the crotch, but gets his foot caught and held! He tries begging off before attempting another last ditch enziguri attack… but Thesz ducks - Del Rio lands on his stomach - and Thesz locks in the STF! But he can’t hold it tightly or too long because of his arm! Del Rio rolls through a bit to relieve the pressure… Del Rio maneuvers into guard position - but Thesz uses his legs to flip Del Rio over and lock in a rear naked choke attempt! BIG POP from the crowd! But Del Rio fights back and another grand series of counters unravels when Del Rio just starts stomping the crap out of Thesz arm… now Del Rio senses blood and goes for the hold… Thesz tries to counter and reverse, but finally - dramatically - Del Rio gets the arm lock! HE’S GONNA BREAK LOU’S ARM! Thesz struggles for an unbearable, cringe-worthy amount of time, before the ref finally calls for the bell!! (!?!?) Further replay shows a controversial “tap” or “readjustment of position” with Lou Thesz’ hand on Del Rio’s knee, depending upon your perspective… but regardless… after a brief moment of entire-arena silence (like Royal Rumble 91 seconds after Slaughter pinned UW)… Alberto Del Rio is announced the NEW XPW WORLD CHAMPION! The building becomes unhinged…Winner (and NEW XPW World Champion): ALBERTO DEL RIO Postmatch, Thesz grabs and mic and screams for “DEL RIO”! A small pocket of fans chant “you tapped out!” while most are just stunned at the development… Solie & Striker were just telling us Thesz has been enjoying the longest championship run in company history! Now this… but surprisingly - Thesz begrudgingly admits Alberto Del Rio was the better man tonight… and demands a re-match! CROWD EXPLODES at the prospect of seeing another mat classic such as the one we witnessed tonight.. Lou Thesz even offers the handshake of mutual respect to seal the deal… crowd chants “ONE MORE TIME!”… Del Rio looks to the crowd, before looking like he’s going to accept the handshake - only to disrespectfully blows right past Lou Thesz, leaving his hand outstretched! Del Rio shakes his head no and heads up the ring, as Lou is left with his hand out and frustrated look on his face… Commentators speculate on if this was something to do with Black’s last ditch effort to control a portion of XPW hierarchy… replays from the match and discussion of Del Rio’s refusal to shake Thesz hand post match…** FADE OUT ** _________________________________________________________________________
