Lou Thesz and business associate Masahiko Kimura storm the office of Rob Black... Thesz and Kimura are the picture of Boardwalk Empire-chic... you can't see it, but you can imagine a pistol tucked in the waist band... Thesz gives Rob Black hell for the main event shenanigans he concocted to drive Thesz & Perfect against each other... Thesz insinuates some kind of master plan spearheaded by Black to remove Thesz as XPW Remixed champion... but Rob Black voraciously denies these allegations, and is all like "whoa man! Not why I came! I'm here for the KotDM & chicks only! That wasn't my idea!" If Thesz wants somebody to blame for the main event title match tonight look further than XPW President Ed "Strangler" Lewis & AWA President Verne Gagne... that's Rob Blacks story and he's sticking to it...

In ring payoff to the weeks of "FOCUS on Strike" skits - culminating on XPW Online #21 with the ladder match challenge... the Focus work stoppage was brought to the ring, with Otunga using the platform to claim his client Gorgeous George still has legitimate claim to the TV title... ends with a competitive squash match after RVD goads Otunga into action... GG looks gorgeous at ringside, Otunga gets to put over his physical appearence - and RVD ends with an emphatic 5-star frogsplash.
Winner: RVD 4:20
Post match we get the inevitable Gorgeous George run-in (after Otunga swore he wasn't in the building in protest) and beat down on RVD... he attacks RVD's knee with a ladder and finishes with a "Stroke" right on the metal edge to end the segment... Now Otunga holds a barely concious RVD down, while GG retrieves his XPW TV title... in an elaborate, mock-ceremony - she presents it around the waist of Gorgeous George Wagner! FOCUS pose for pics and leave with the belt! RVD is champion! Gorgeous George has the belt! But @ "Give Me Liberty or Death" - it will be in nobody's possesion! It will be hung high above the ring and the only way to claim it will be with a ladder!
ROB VAN DAM defends his XPW TV title against former champion GORGEOUS GEORGE WAGNER!

To break the tension at the end of the segment, former Commissioner “Real Deal” Damien Steele interjects to add a moment of comic levity… his hollow taunts draw Muldoon into using his booking powers to make Damien Steele’s next match…

The “XPW Remixed gets revenge against Damien Steele” tour continues… this week it’s the “former” KotDM champion (and the man stripped and “fired” by Damien Steele) Sid Vicious… first Steele plagiarized his old gimmick (hiring a fake Lord Humongous), and then he nearly gave Sid’s cellphone number out to the fans in the middle of the ring… tonight, he waits in the center of the ring begging off, as Sid Vicious strides towards his execution (and the fans chant “SID! SID!”) Short and sweet… Steele’s offense brushed off and no-sold by Sid… Chokeslam! POWERBOMB! The Master and Ruler of the Universe does it again!

WILLIAM MULDOON versus JUN KASAI

The Onita/Muldoon friction continues - with Onita viciously lambasting Muldoon and questioning his honor and integrity (slights Muldoon as a man, cannot let slide)… Onita goads the “Solid Man” William Muldoon into accepting an impromptu contest against “The Crazy Monkey” Jun Kasai! Oh my, anything can happen in XPW Remixed! Back from commercial break and a ring-ready Muldoon is greeted by Jun Kasai’s frightening TV entrance… Muldoon’s wrestling is far superior, but Kasai is just serial-killer creepy and seems to get some demented enjoyment from some of Muldoon’s submission attempts… When Muldoon gets the advantage, sure enough Onita jumps up on the ring apron to distract the referee… but this time, none other Olympia trainee TOMMASO CIAMPA makes the run-in and save (with a slightly new appearance)… but instead - he flips off his old coach right to his stunned face, and deserts him! Muldoon is mortified, and easy prey for a back brain kick from Kasai… a brain buster / top rope Kamikaze dive finishes the match! 1!.. 2!.. 3! Jun Kasai pins William Muldoon! Onita talks more disrespectful trash to Muldoon, as Tommaso Ciampa makes his way up the entrance ramp to boos (his ice cold eyes locked on Muldoon in the ring, and a new Hollywood Hogan-like blond goatee to give him a more sinister look) and the announcers ask aloud “WHY, TOMMASO? WHY?”

”American Made”
FabThe manager “Wild” Red Berry hosts an elaborate in-ring ceremony featuring his talent (and “All-American Legends”) the Fabulous Kangaroos… bit is a comical look at how “USA” the FabKangs are, and how their opponents at “Give Me Liberty or Death” are NOT! In honor of 4th of July and the true season of Americana, the FabKangs will conduct a Red, White & Blue symphony upon the bodies of their opponents! And because America celebrates the freedom and beauty of all cultures, the FabKangs respectfully ask everybody to stand for the Australian national anthem (booooooo!!) Thankfully we are interrupted by the Detroit-bred MOTORCITY MACHINE GUNS!!
In ring, verbal joust between the 4 men - that’s won by the MCMG’s sarcastic, dry internet-age quips and humorous soundbytes… even “Wild” Red Berry’s encyclopedic rant is laid silent by the XPW Tag Team championship belts the Guns hold… finally, there is no course but brute ignorant strength - and Berry is ready to flex his when the NEW Twin Towers (of Bam Bam Bigelow & Bull Ramos) form at the top of the entrance ramp - trapping the MCMG! It’s about to be a 4-on-2 beat down, when suddenly - the NEW Twin Towers are jumped by Billy Gunn & Road Dogg… the NEW AGE OUTLAWS!
Still without coming to blows - the MCMG manage to stave the FabKangs from interfering - thus allowing Bigelow & Ramos to be jumped and viciously beaten… then with the eyes of the world (and Red Berry’s beady set) fixed upon them - the NAO dump Ramos & Bigelow’s gigantic body into a nearby dumpster! But with the crowd egging them on - and Berry & the FabKangs growing more irate by the moment - the NAO can’t leave well enough alone and actually ROLL THE DUMPSTER (w/ Bigelow & Ramos in it) OFF the entrance ramp! “HOLY S***!” and “XPW! XPW!” chants break out! The MCMG look impressed… the FabKangs MURDEROUSLY enraged… and the NAO finish with their lively, crowd pleasing sing along - targeting both their opponents @ “Give Me Liberty or Death” and declaring this a battle of the World’s Greatest Tag Teams! But at “Give Me Liberty or Death” - the NAO will prove beyond the shadow of a doubt they are the GREATEST of them all!

SHANE DOUGLAS (w/ Lizzy Borden) 2001
Versus
SAMOA JOE (2007)
(w/ special referee JOHN CENA 2012)
w/ versus
Special Referee
Video recap of the intertwining paths of these three men, and how they’ve all come together tonight… XPW Boston championship is the common denominator, along with an insatiable desire for each of them to prove themselves the singular “franchise” of their generation… from there, we get an attempt at a backstage interview with MSD & Shane Douglas - but the pissed off former ECW & XPW champion commandeers the mic instead and marches to the ring with it (jawing and ranting away the entire time)… in the span of time it takes Shane Douglas & Lizzy Borden to storm from backstage to the ring, he has successfully reinvented himself as a rebel to the machine and the leader of a Revolution (IE: WCW 1999)… same old angry, bitter bile - but with a renewed focus and shape… Samoa Joe is the quiet killer - letting the “JOE’S GONNA KIIILLL YOUUUU!” chants from the audience speak for him… special referee John Cena (XPW Boston champion) enters last to a HUGE ovation… much ado is made (mostly by Cena himself) about the Boston champion being ref - and how much he's willing to assert (or ignore, in some instances) his ruling power... he basically lets both men fight... and that they do...
powermad temptress Lizzy Borden keeps the heat up at ringside as Douglas & Samoa Joe bludgeon each other with offenses exactly 10 years cyclical in nature... Solie & Striker cover Cena's union with Paul Bowser, and how the legendary Boston area promoter has benefited Cena's career... in the end of course tempers and egos flare, everybody gets in each others faces... and after pointing his finger in Joe's chest at one point - then turning to face Shane Douglas - John Cena is suddenly set upon from behind by Samoa Joe!! Enraged and upset over the most miniscule perceived slight, Joe snatches Cena from behind in his Kokina clutch rear-naked choke! The lethal hold that's been used to subdue guys like Kurt Angle, Bruno Sammartino and even Shane Douglas himself once before! Now Joes wraps his legs around Cena's body on the mat and chokes him unconcious... he only breaks the hold to stare daggers through a bewildered Shane Douglas... who slowly smiles at the realization, before calling to Lizzy Borden for something from ringside... it's a new "REVOLUTION" T-Shirt...
Part of Shane Douglas' new doctrine he was spitting during his walk-out... and now a gift to Samoa Joe... but Joe just goes nose-to-nose with Douglas... SLAPPING the shirt out of his hand! Then HEADBUTTING him in the face! Joe wants only for himself! Now the fans are 100% cheering Joe's reckless actions as he cuts Douglas down before grabbing an interfering Lizzy Borden - and HITTING LIZZY BORDEN WITH A MUSCLE BUSTER! "HOLY S***!" and "XPW! XPW!" chants! But Samoa Joe turns right around into a HUGE FUAA from a now-recovered JOHN CENA! The Hollywood superman hoists Joe HIGH in the air and SLAMS him to the mat with paralyzing force! The reigning XPW Boston champion puts an exclamation point on the entire statement here by clearing the ring - grabbing a mic - and with Paul Bowser's blessing ordering a TRIPLE THREAT MATCH @ "Give Me Liberty or Death"! Cena will take on ALL you sunovabitches!! But it comes with a steep price... this is an all-or-nothing "Something 2 Lose" triple threat match... high stakes entry, for the highest bidders only: Cena is putting up the precious Boston championship belt (something that would serve as validation to Douglas & Joe's fantasy wrestling career; as clearly defined in the build-up)... in return, Samoa Joe gives up the right to ever compete for the XPW Boston championship again (that means if he loses he NEVER gets another title shot; effectively *BANNING* him from competition)... and if Shane Douglas loses then his Revolution DIES along with his career! Loser Leaves XPW Remixed for GOOD! Those are the conditions - the stakes are certainly high enough - each man has a certain degree of "fuck it, I'm dead either way" in them - and so they agree! High stakes, winner-take-all, "Something 2 Lose" Triple Threat title match! XPW Boston Championship!
Winner: NONE (no finish)

DEAN AMBROSE & KEVIN SULLIVAN vs.
MADMAN PONDO
(“Handicap Match”)
versus
This brief XPW Remixed mini-series puts the focus squarely on the real Black Army - it’s start in late 90s LA with XPW Original… the first Kevin Sullivan incarnation (see New Years Revolution)… and now, the fantasy wrestling takeover… Rob Black is helping redirect the vision of the company he once built (and drove into the ground to the depths of Hell)… it has been revealed that a choice championship power play by Rob Black helped seal the deal in his 1/3rd purchase of GDT Inc (Lou Thesz assumes this play involves him taking on Mr. Perfect tonight)… but it also comes as no surprise that Black has grand ambitions… he seeks to control the uncontrollable… master of the wild… ruler of the “King of the Death Match” division… beside Black stands his once-exiled advisor JACK PFEFER and his Japanese delegate Atsushi Onita, and they are willing to aid Black in his takeover whatever the cost… Rob Black places all of his fortune and clout upon the one man he believes will bring fame and glory to his empire - DEAN AMBROSE. Ambrose is a skilled warrior, adept at hard-hitting Japanese style fighting, MMA scrapes, chain-wrestling or Death Match mutiny… he can do it all, and with great prowess… he was the sole survivor in the big CZWO/Black Army Elimination match @ “BiB2” and has watched his stock soar (despite the tag team setback last Episode)… tonight - a tortured, captured member of the CZWO rebellion - MadMan Pondo - is being fed to the lions…
Both Kevin Sullivan (full “Prince of Darkness 1982”-style) and Dean Ambrose wield weaponry to start, while Pondo enters with nothing… 8 or 9 masked sadomasochistic Black Army followers surround the ring, lumberjack style, adding an ominous ambiance as they constantly prod and needle MadMan Pondo like a caged animal… light tubes, chairs, chains and other weapons are broken over Pondo… but his greatest indignities are suffered when Ambrose & Sullivan gleefully torture him with a trash can and lid (proving he is indeed nothing more than “trash”)… Pondo fights back briefly, certainly proving himself a gladiator - but in the end the machinations of Ambrose & Sullivan on tandem offense are too much - and Pondo is driven into sand on the mat…
WINNERS: DEAN AMBROSE & KEVIN SULLIVAN
Ambrose receives the praise and glory - Rob Black (shown applauding from his private luxury box above the arena) gets the credit - and MadMan Pondo is removed from the ring, funeral pyre-style, by the masked Black Army devotees... just then! CHAOS IN THE CORRIDORS! Members of the CZWO (Messiah & Sami Callihan, in security disguise) have infiltrated the inner sanctum of the arena and trying to bumrush Black in the security box! Messiah & Callihan hold off the troops in brutal combat, leaving Rob Black alone and unprotected in the luxury box...
Enter CZWO captain ZANDIG!!
Finally he has Black in his cross hairs... he lists the decades long grievances holds against Black (and the whole Philly invasion of the late 90s)... something that resulted in deaths, the end of careers and jail time... now - in honor of "Sick" Nick Mondo's revolutionary sacrifice at “BiB2” (something that changed Zandig’s entire outlook) - Zandig has promised to end this war once and for all - by throwing Rob Black off the balcony! Oh my! He grabs Black by his shirt! But a figure lunges from the darkness to seize Zandig from behind!
It’s TAZ!!
The lone wolf, human suplex machine, self-appointed “FTW” champion TAZ jumps on Zandig’s back like a pitbull and locks in the Tazmission! It gives security and GTD Inc personnel enough time to reach the scene, clear it out and rescue Rob Black! Taz choked out Zandig! When he’s finally pried off Zandig, he just furiously stares down Black without saying a word - and then storming off… enter Dean Ambrose (w/ Sullivan & Onita) who just came rushing into the scene from the ring! They are just as shocked as Rob Black and the rest of us by Taz’s spontaneous action… Meanwhile Messiah & Sami Callihan are forced to grab Zandig’s body and flee the building, foiled in their siege attempt…

More dark, evil-natured intimidation and tough-talk from Onita to Muldoon… disparaging him and promising to take his office title @ “Give Me Liberty or Death”… but William Muldoon still has the book for now, and in the efforts of “fair play” - since Muldoon already competed tonight, it’s only right that his opponent @ “Give Me Liberty or Death” (Hakushi Kuro) fight tonight as well… and Muldoon has just the guy in mind to teach Onita about the REAL honor and integrity of the Land of the Rising Sun… stare down between Muldoon & Onita to end the scene…

Hakushi beats Kimura by countout, via Black Mist to the FACE... Kimura couldn't recover in time, and when Muldoon emerged to help lend aid to him - they were both surrounded by members of the Black Army entourage, led by the evil Onita.
Winner (by count-out): HAKUSHI KURO
This time Muldoon goes down like the captain of a sinking ship - fighting the entire time... but with the goon squad bearing down on Muldoon, aid comes from an unlikely source: SHEAMUS!
The Celtic Warrior makes good on his promise to raise some hell and seek accused vengeance! He runs through sword-weilding goons! He runs through Kevin Sullivan! The brawl is on in the ring, but the forces of darkness are still too much... Out of nowhere Tazz shows up to CHOKE OUT SNUFF! The masked monster was advancing upon a downed Alexxis Neveah near the stage area, when Taz leapt from the shadows onto Snuff's back! TAZMISSION! Finally order is restored, the factions seperated, and Taz leaves Snuff lying at the feet of a confused and outraged Kevin Sullivan!! WTF?!?

LOU THESZ (1955) versus MR. PERFECT (1991)
versus
Slow walk together in the center of the ring, with a pan on the throng of raving fans behind them standing and roaring their satisfaction… this is like ATL 98 the time Goldberg beat Hogan for the WCW title… but now those same fans mix with the wild-ass ‘61 Comisky Park fans, the die hard Road Wild fanatics and live smart marks from the future within the historical melting pot of XPW Remixed… this is where the past, present and future collide on the same ethereal stage. Thesz (55) and Mr. Perfect (91) elicit Goosebumps and a chill up the spine that is unparalleled in fantasy wrestling…
Crowd into both guys, and we fly right into action with a furious lock-up, scramble, counter-hold reversal seminar… crowd growing louder with each exchange until champ Lou Thesz caps it off by showing his strength advantage and slamming Mr. Perfect on the mat to make him stay down… off the ropes, criss-cross reversal into a crossbody from Thesz (for a 1 count)… more mat wrestling by Thesz, both guys still going at full throttle - shoot style… once again Thesz puts an abrupt end to Mr. Perfect‘s rally with a stiff clothesline that knocks Hennig through the ropes to the floor! Mr. Perfect wants to walk it off, and soak in the crowd heat now (turning him on a bit as he begins to display his hellish sneer)… and when Hennig sees Thesz arguing with the referee, he clips Thesz leg and knocks him to the apron… then he hurls Thesz off to the ring apron into the ringside barricade, to the floor! Thesz seems pissed and he and Perfect engage in a tight-quarters brawl; gripping each other and throwing blows… back in the ring and Mr. Perfect answers with 3 on-point dropkicks to Thesz head, each one dropping him lower to the mat… the last one throws the champ for a loop and Mr. Perfect leaps in with a sleeper hold/rear naked choke attempt… Thesz fights back and hit’s a Samoan Drop on Perfect… but Hennig quickly rebounds to pitch Thesz hard chest first into the turnbuckles… Only a 2 count for Hennig… He sets up Thesz for two Atomic Drops and segues into a snap suplex… Backbreaker and Middle rope elbow drop by Hennig (but still only 2)… they fall out on the floor again, and Perfect whips Thesz into the ringpost… Thesz fights back again though with European uppercuts, and Hennig rolls back into the ring to regroup… just another Perfect ploy - as Hennig kicks the middle ropes with Thesz climbing in the ring - effectively crotching him… Thesz crumbles to the mat in pain… still only 2.
Another scramble comes all the way back around again, and they wind up fighting over a lock-up (with the crowd cheering like crazy)… Thesz delivers a crucifix for 2 - moves into a side headlock on the mat - and both guys go back and forth with the heelish hair-pulling (crowd cheers Thesz)! Mr. Perfect with some body shots to Thesz, breaking his grip… Thesz bounces off the ropes with a THESZ PRESS (!) for 2!! The momentum from the kick-out puts Thesz on the floor, but he comes back in with a sunset flip for another close 2 count… so Perfect answers with headlock / cheap shot to slow his roll… They trade slams and a huge double-clothesline spot takes them both over the top rope to the floor again, where the brawl continues in earnest… Thesz winds up tearing Perfect’s singlet in the fracas… Perfect cowers away, but cheapshots Thesz again and kicks him to the floor… When Thesz tries to get back in the ring, Perfect shoves him off into a cameraman! Both Thesz, the random employee and his HD TV camera going crashing into the ringside guardrail… Thesz comes up holding his arm and Hennig jumps on him like a shark… he rams the shoulder into the ringpost, guardrail and around the buckle until Thesz arm is like a warm strand of spaghetti…
The focus of the rest of the match is on that wounded appendage, as Mr. Perfect runs through his full arsenal of shoot holds and submission locks to attempt to squeeze a tap from the champ… but Lou Thesz grits his teeth, grinds it out and fights for leverage and control… Perfect punches back and whips Thesz from corner-to-corner for two… Running Neck Snap and a Dropkick puts Thesz on his back… Mr. Perfect and Thesz fight over another sleeper / rear naked choke, but this time Perfect cinches it in tight… luckily Thesz manages to stretch his foot to the bottom rope, but Perfect still doesn‘t release the hold for a few extra precious seconds… Perfect plays to the crowd - drags Thesz into the center of the ring - and hit’s the PERFECT PLEX! 1!.. 2!.. KICKOUT! Hennig is incredulous! Then enraged! He goes to lock in Thesz own STF on him, but Lou counters out and is about to snap Perfect in the same hold - when his arm gives out on him and he loses position… Perfect escapes and goes back on offense… He hits a pair of arm drags and then slings Thesz by his hair straight into the ringpost... Suplex gets two… Small package gets two… Mr. Perfect is getting frustrated… Russian Legsweep gets two… Backbreaker/flying vertical elbow drop gets two, and even the crowd can‘t believe it at this point! But it starts up a “THESZ! THESZ“ chant! While Mr. Perfect begins arguing with the ref, Thesz sneaks in for the finish and rolls up Hennig! 1!.. 2!.. KICKOUT! OOOOH! The crowd can’t believe it… Thesz arm is almost dead… never the less, he socks Hennig with his good arm - but gets desperation low-blowed by Perfect for big boos… Perfect then starts stomping Thesz’ arm and midsection/crotch area ruthlessly.. The referee warns of DQ, but Hennig doesn’t relent… so Thesz catches his foot and maneuvers Perfect into a takedown into STF on the mat! Middle of the ring! He struggles for position, Perfect fights it, the announcers and fans are going ballistic… and finally (dramatically) Mr. Perfect taps out! HE TAPS OUT! Thesz retains!!
Winner (and STILL XPW WORLD Champion): LOU THESZ
The confetti falls, the music blares, the celebration unfolds… Thesz (near tears from exertion and elation) accepts the XPW World title strapped around his waist and his arm raised triumphantly… throngs of reporters and camera men (both American and abroad) snap millions of photographs and the announcers go crazy over Thesz win on the mic… MSD elbows his way into position for the post-match, Joe Rogan mic bit with Thesz… Lou is beyond grateful, yet humble and confident and was ready to uphold the newfound integrity HE instilled in the XPW World title… for him, he has big plans to bring even more legitimacy to the XPW World title… and rid it of the stink it was born of; distance it from the corruption of the Black Army… and that plan starts at “Give Me Liberty or Death” when Lou Thesz…
SUDDENLY HE’S ATTACKED FROM BEHIND!
An unseen foe has slid past security and ambushed the champion! It’s ALBERTO DEL RIO (2011)!! With a cartel leader’s cold expression, he dissects and dismantles Thesz on the mat (focus on his injured arm)… quick camera cut backstage to the office of ROB BLACK - he turns to advisor Jack Pfefer and says “now THAT’S my idea for the XPW World title!” The master plan all along... Ha ha… Back in the ring, nobody can stop the assault and Del Rio finishes with his cross arm breaker!! THESZ WILL BE CRIPPLED! (“Handicap Match”)
