XPW President Ed "Strangler" Lewis is seen in joyous conversation with AWA president Vern Gagne, finishing with a firm businessman's handshake. Ladies and gentlemen, this is history in the making...

More on that historic moment later. But first! Alberto Del Rio is in XPW Remixed! The CZWO takes on the Shooters Club! And the XPW Remixed Tag Team titles are on the line TONIGHT! New Age Outlaws (1998) opens show – elongated crowd-pleasing entrance… they throw shots @ “Wild” Red Berry on the mic and tell him to “SUCK IT”!... enter the manager “Wild” Red Berry… encyclopedic rant against the NAO and their ignorant shtick, while touting the brilliance of his men (Fabulous Kangaroos)… he hypes the whole thing up like they’re about to show up right now and fight the Outlaws – but instead we get Berry’s enforcer team of Bigelow & Ramos… the FabKangs appear only to assume guest color duty besides Solie & Striker… in ring the New Twin Towers are always impressive, but the NAO stay resilient… FabKangs hilarious on commentary, disparaging the NAO and clinging to their DQ victory over the current champs MCMG on XPW TV Episode #46… FabKangs deserve a tag team title rematch, by their logic… but in the ring, NAO prove their championship intent with action... Billy Gunn hits a Fameasser on Bull Ramos, as Road Dogg holds his foot down from outside the ring... Berry is irrate (ironically) over the same crooked heelishness he himself had attempted numerous times earlier.
Winners: NEW AGE OUTLAWS
Post match the FabKangs get off commentary to join the 4-on-2 beat down that soon breaks out... the New Twin Towers & the former tag champ FabKangs are in total control of the Outlaws - until they're saved by XPW Remixed tag team champion MOTOR CITY MACHINE GUNS! Wearing street clothes (their tag belts) and using chairs like baseball bats, the smaller MCMG never the less clear the ring with their weaponry and force Red & his men to retreat... yet when Billy Gunn staggers to his feet inside the ring - the MCMG turn their attention towards him and BLAST his skull with a twin-chair whack! He goes down, and Alex Shelley holds up his steel chair in Road Dogg's face for Sabin to connect with a roundhouse kick (chair into Dogg's face) - driving Road Dogg from the ring! Drake Younger & Dan Severn display expert shoot fighting skills, with Severn in particular executing a suplex seminar on Messiah & Sami... but the diabolical brilliance of Messiah & Sami is on display when Severn gets seperated (and engulfed in a ringside brawl with the newly-appeared MadMan Pondo) while Drake Younger gets double-teamed into oblivion... Carlito's Way elevated diamond cutter from Messiah puts Drake in perfect position for Callihan's "Stretch Muffler" finisher (the same move that put Younger out @ "BiB2")...
Winners: MESSIAH & SAMI CALLIHAN
Postmatch - the Beast Dan Severn snaps and goes prehistoric on Messiah & Callihan! Huge, explosive overhead suplexes and slams with the crowd cheering each one louder... until the equally-beefy (and just as ornery) CZWO leader JOHN ZANDIG appears to halt the rampage! He catches Dan Severn from behind with a Kendo stick, breaking it over his head, and that's it. The rest of the segment is a brutal torture scene where Zandig and his CZWO execute an unprotected Kendo stick assault on the bare-backed bodies of Severn & Younger... his statement made, Zandig closes with another violent pep-talk rally... he actually salutes the memory of "Sick" Nick Mondo's career, and tells the world "Cage of Death" was his invention and at "Give Me Liberty or Death" the CZWO will take back the "king of the death match" title!!

”LOU THESZ versus MR. PERFECT”
(The Light and the Dark of it)
THE LIGHT: Another in a long line of EPIC Mash-Up Wrestling CROSS-OVER appearances, Lou Thesz & Mr. Perfect have come together to write fantasy wrestling history. In what promises to be an epic level clash, Lou Thesz will defend his XPW World championship against a territory “outsider”… just the mere thought of an inter-promotional clash of this magnitude is enough to make fantasy fans salivate… but there is so much more at stake here than just promoting a great fight. For starters, this is the beginning of Lou Thesz’ lifelong ambition to prove himself the ONLY “World” champion in Mash-Up Wrestling. If that means defending that title here, abroad, or against any range of opponents (signed or unsigned) so be it. Mr Perfect have proven his legacy in fantasy wrestling, recently rescued his home federation the AWA from a siege attempt, and proven his worth as a world title contender. But Mr Perfect has also taken this challenge to a highly personal level – first with the disrespect he showed Thesz as special referee of his match (at “BiB2”)… the by publically airing backstage grievances when he discussed the “slap heard round Mash-Up Wrestling” on XPW TV Episode #46… Mr. Perfect has lit a fire under Lou Thesz – strong enough to make the XPW World champion step out of his comfort zone and compete against a rival competitor. News magazines, wrestling messageboards and After The Bell have all been set ablaze by the announcement of this huge title fight.
THE DARK: Is Lou Thesz really the odd man out? His own pride - the only visible weakness he has - turned against him? His alliance with former mentor Ed “Strangler” Lewis has been tenuous at best since Thesz joined XPW Remixed (see “New Years Revolution” & “My Bloody Valentine”)… antagonistic at worst. But his relationship with VP Joseph “Toots” Mondt is legendarily bad… there are some that say Thesz extreme dislike for Mondt (and promoters of his ilk) is what convinced him to strike out on his fantasy wrestling pilgrimage in the first place. What drove him to the rotten debauchery of XPW Remixed like a moth to a flame. Lou Thesz would save fantasy wrestling or die trying. Now that he is the coveted XPW Champion he has done great, and unimaginable, things. He has the longest uninterrupted reign in XPW history… he elevated it to WORLD TITLE status… and now, he attempts to defend the gold outside of traditional territory boundaries. Is this just an advanced effort from GDT Inc (Lewis, Mondt & Black) to take the title off Thesz once and for all? Move it to a talent that will work within their system (Mr. Perfect) and not have a rebel agenda of their own? A title holder has all the cards, and the way Mr, Perfect was brought in to immediately play upon Thesz’ pride and goad him into a match seems too coincidental. There are some in the know that claim GDT Inc plans to move the belt onto Mr. Perfect - before announcing him as their newest talent acquisition - and pushing him into “Give Me Liberty or Death” as the new XPW World champion!! Lou Thesz will finally be shunted down the card and kept from the title picture for good. What repercussions will the handshake agreement between Ed Lewis & Verne Gagne bring upon XPW Remixed, and fantasy wrestling as a whole? Tune in to the next XPW TV Episode to find out!!

ZANDIG!!
