A WORD FROM THE COMPANY
(East Coast)
The joint-ownership project in XPW Remixed is chugging along nicely. Like any business outfit, advances are made and concessions are laid. The East Coast offices of Strangler Lewis & Toots Mondt have successfully booked the following semi-main event match for “RAPTURE”... Terry Funk versus The MIZ, in a Street Fight! In return, there have been some concessions made on the TONIGHT’s previously-announced main event match (see XPW TV Episode #28 for the announcement). Mr. Lewis would like to kindly remind you that wrestling cards are always “subject to change”. You’ll hear more about that announcement later from the West Coast branch of XPW Remixed. Just know that Lewis & Mondt have the long-term goals of the company firmly in mind, and that the whirlwind of destruction set to touch down upon the XPW Remixed championship (West Coast version) will not go unnoticed… word to the “Apocalypse of 2012”.
ED LEWIS: He [Ezekiel Jackson] is more powerful than I am and stronger than Buddy Rogers or Shikat, and he knows a lot of wrestling too.

"Sammartino Invitational"
ORVILLE BROWN versus EDDIE GILBERT
(Midwest Championship match)
versus
Double-whammy for the Triple Threat tonight. Not only has Orville Brown (the “fighting champion”) put his current undefeated streak and Midwestern Championship belt on the line – this match ALSO doubles as a “Sammartino Invitational”! After Brown & Gilbert’s entrances, current XPW Remixed champion (East Coast) Bruno Sammartino enters to a huge pop. He is here to provide guest commentary. Much fanfare is made of the “family man” Orville Brown, and the always-paranoid Eddie Gilbert is greeted by harsh boos. Despite Gilbert’s dirty antics (and the attempted seduction by Sunny that was met with a light smack on the rump from Brown), the reigning MidWest champion reverses a HotShot attempt by Gilbert into a Chaos Theory rolling German/bridge for the pin. Gilbert is left to bug his eyes and tear his hair out in shock!
Winner (and STILL MidWest Champion): ORVILLE BROWN
The Triple Threat is PISSED!
Postmatch, Sammartino arises from his seat next to Solie & Striker to applaud Brown’s victory. This only serves to infuriate the Triple Threat further (who have congregated at ringside to bitch and complain). So Shane Douglas does what he does best – grab a house mic and lose control. With veins bulging out of his neck, he shoots on the “old boys’ network” and all these elaborate conspiracy theories designed to hold HIM back and keep the “Fossils” in top spots! He’s talking about Bruno Sammartino! He’s talking about the Olympia! He’s talking about Orville Brown, and Douglas’ opponent later tonight in this “BULL*** Invitational” Lou Thesz!!! Sammartino has now ripped his headset off in anger and is in danger of rushing the ring and confronting these lunatics himself (thankfully he’s held be a phalanx of XPW Security). But that doesn’t stop Douglas from running his mouth (while Gilbert steams and Candido/Sunny preens). But when Douglas DARE have the audacity to insult Orville Brown’s wife and child again, he pays the price!!! Orville Brown tackles Douglas to the mat and starts pounding him out! The affable, charming family man has been driven into a frenzy! Security quickly intervenes but the precedent for tonight’s show (and perhaps, entire direction of the company since Day #1) has been set – utter chaos!!!

XPW Remixed Woman's Divison president LIZZY BORDEN
ANNIE SOCIAL versus MATT JACKSON
versus
Another sick example of Lizzy Borden abusing her position of power for derogatory purposes. After running afoul of the boss, and being flippant in attitude (not to mention a nasty in-ring talent) BLKOut affiliate Annie Social has finally got her wish – more ring time. But it comes at a price. Instead of a Woman’s title shot, as Annie Social believes she should receive (after all, she DID defeat current champion Alexxis Nevaeh way back on XPW TV Episode #22) – she gets this travesty of a “wrestling match”. When the cocky, fluorescent-colored tandem of Generation ME answer Lizzy Borden’s call to action… Social’s face is one of disgust and disappointment. The crowd responds vehemently to Matt Jackson’s involvement here. More man-on-woman violence, as portrayed by XPW Remixed (and hosted by Lizzy Borden). But remember, this is PRO WRESTLING – and in the vein of Chikara, CZW and other independent-thinking organizations, nowhere else are the rules of sexism slightly blurred. Matt is cocky to start and bullies and underestimates Annie Social a little, until the fiery sparkplug makes the crowd-pleasing comeback and starts kicking some ass! It makes Lizzy Borden’s blood boil (on commentary), and it takes the interference of the OTHER brother (who pulls Social’s hair as she rebounds the ropes) to earn the sneak 3-count! Matt Jackson pulls of the win (and they certainly celebrate accordingly) but it took BOTH of them AND some shenanigans to get it done!
Winner: MATT JACKSON
Annie Social is rightfully pissed, and snaps on GenME again when they dare approach her. But THIS time her boys Ruckus & Sabian – the XPW Remixed tag champions – make the run-in through the crowd for the save!!! In a daring display of lucha libre dexterity and All-American madness, BLKOut clear out GenME in quick succession and pose for the cheering crowd!!!
BLKOut in da house, bitches!!!

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
Another grimy Switchblade Conspiracy promo, where they threaten all kinds of harm to the XPW Remixed tag division and brag about "ending Phil Shatter's career". They belittle, bully and generally treat their "valet" Jessica Darlin like crap - even violently shaking and slapping her at one point. Very uncomfortable. Until none other than perennial thorn-in-the-side AUSTIN IDOL swaggers into the scene to break up the physicality. He clowns Callihan & Moxley for being pussy woman-beaters, enraging them further. They are about to double-team Idol and destroy him for good... when PHIL "GUNNER" SHATTER makes his injury-free return!!! In a surprising, climatic moment Phil Shatter bursts into the scene, and the Switchblade Con look like they've just seen a ghost! The (Real) Kings of Wrestling, Idol & Shatter, demolish Switchblade Conspiracy backstage! Another wild locker room brawl, that ends with Phil Shatter F5'ing Jon Moxley through a wooden bench! With Callihan & Moxley laid out, Austin Idol approaches the shaking Jessica Darlin once more and makes his intentions known... Real Kings of Wrestling versus Switchblade Conspiracy @ "RAPTURE"... with Jessica Darlin's managerial services on the line!!! Fade out on Jessica's confused face, and Moxley & Callihan writhing in pain on the ground! Shatter and Idol flex for the cameras and are out!!!
Phil "Gunner" Shatter is back, and the (Real) Kings of Wrestling want the Switchblade Conspiracy at "RAPTURE"... with Jessica Darlin on the line!!!

BEST in BEANTOWN
"Boston Bad Boy" Tony Rumble
”The Boston Bad Boy” Tony Rumble takes the ring first, for a quick segment. He is elated with Mondo Kleen’s victory in the “Sammartino Invitational” (see XPW TV Episode #28) and claims that his phone has been ringing off the hook with new talent looking to hook up with the “hottest and most successful manager on the entire East Coast!” He would like to introduce the first of his newest signees…
SAMMI LANE!!!
The bratty and prissy Sammi Lane gets a few moments to put herself over, and send a few subliminal digs at her East Coast arch-rival Alexxis Nevaeh. Now, Tony Rumble would like to introduce his latest find... But before he can…
“For Whom The Bell Tolls” by Metallica starts blaring through the arena soundsystem! Tony Rumble and crew look shocked and puzzled! The crowd pops HUGE! Ladies and gentleman, entering the XPW Remixed arena…
”The Future of Hardcore” NICK FN GAGE!!!
Nick FN Gage has some harsh profanity-laced words for the so-called “Boston Bad Boy” Tony Rumble. Nick Gage wants a fight right now!!! He tries to go after the monster Mondo Kleen – who ALSO advanced in the “Sammartino Invitational” last week – but is blindsided from the rear by big fat Val Puccio!!!
NICK GAGE versus BIG VAL PUCCIO (w/ Tony Rumble)
versus
Big Val Puccio gets a few moments of pounding offense, giving the crowd just enough time to get the “U FAT PHUCKK!!!” chants out of their system. Finally Nick Gage makes the offensive turnaround, using a Kendo stick and a steel chair for emphasis, before actually executing a top rope frog splash on the fat man for the pin!!! Nick Gage holds his Kendo stick aloft in victory!!!
Winner: NICK GAGE
Unfortunately for Nick Gage, he jumped the gun a little bit here. Tony Rumble had an announcement to make before he was interrupted. Now, with Gage celebrating with the fans and chants of “XPW! XPW!” raining down, Tony Rumble finally unleashes his new force upon XPW Remixed…
Nick Gage is attacked from behind! The figure is lops to the ring like some kind of shambling man-beast, before blindsiding Gage with a wicked forearm shiver. The man’s strangely-shaped body is obscured by a dark cloak, and his face is hidden by a makeshift mask! Who is this mysterious creature??? Now – with the help of Mondo Kleen and a recovering Val Puccio – the dangerous newcomer pummels, pounds and pulverizes Nick Gage. In the end, with Tony Rumble’s help, they line the ropes with fluorescent light tubes before HURLING Gage through them in a stunning explosion of glass shards and debris!!! OMG they seem to have seriously injured Gage, as he takes a quick peek under his armpit to find a river of blood literally SQUIRTING OUT. Within MOMENTS Nick Gage’s entire white Chicago Bulls throwback jersey is stained crimson. The maniacal Tony Rumble just laughs and celebrates the destruction of Nick Gage, alongside his crew of deviant outcasts! The mysterious newcomer is part Kane ‘97/TNA Abyss – a grotesque, masked oddity completely under control of his new master – “The Boston Bad Boy” Tony Rumble!!! Meanwhile, Nick Gage is being rushed backstage by paramedics where he will be AIRLIFTED to a local hospital due to his injury!!! In the back, cameras show a distressed Bruno Sammartino watching on as Nick Gage is wheeled past him on the stretcher, soaked in blood.

LIGHTS! CAMERA! HOLLYWOOD!!!!
MSD interviews The MESSIAH
Backstage correspondent MSD is with the new XPW Television champion THE MESSIAH. Eerie, foreboding promo - almost like a television evangelist praying for your souls - where Messiah concludes "The Hexad" (see "Halloween in Hell") and gives Divine credit for his championship victory. But just then, he is approached by the Jezebel seductress Tammy "Sunny" Sytch (circa 1996). She approaches Messiah with amorous advances, all the while praising his abilities and caressing his championship belt. She's here because... she would like to, pleaaaaasssseeee, announce a championship match between Messiah and her man Chris Candido for the Television championship @ "RAPTURE". Nobody is more Hollywood than Sunny herself, and this is one Blonde Bombshell that always gets her way. She even seductively (and suggestively) drops to both knees before Messiah, in prayer (or BJ) position to beg for his approval. She's willing to do "anything" for her man Chris Candido to receive a title shot... Messiah is cold and unwavering as he stares her dead in her lustful eyes and says... "NO." She has been rebuffed! She acts appalled, shocked and offended that a male DARE reject her advances! Turns out it was all just a trap! From just out of the scene comes Chris Candido with a weapon! He blind sides Messiah and starts pummeling him, tossing him through the set walls and knocking backstage props over! MSD scrambles for cover as Sunny cheers on her man! At scene's end, Messiah has been laid out on the floor - with Candido and Sunny looming over him. Candido holds the Television championship belt in Messiah's face before spitting on him and telling him he "doesn't deserve the airtime". Candido and the Triple Threat mean business. Let's roll out here, sunshine. Fade out on a beaten Messiah on the hallway floor...
Candido & Sunny make their intentions spotlight clear in the L.A. smog.

"Sammartino Invitational"
SHANE DOUGLAS versus LOU THESZ
versus
East Coast main event time. Shane Douglas enters first, but this time he is surrounded by a virtual army of riot gear-clad guards and police officers. More for HIS protection than anything, as the crowd looks like they would really kill Douglas if given the chance. So what does Shane Douglas do as soon as he reaches the relative safety of the ring? Of course he grabs the house mic and verbally spills gasoline over the already-incensed crowd. Shane Douglas viciously shoots on the “old boys” network that’s holding him down. In tonight’s tirade, he specifically addresses reigning Boston Champion “The Solid Man” William Muldoon (who defeated Triple Threat associate Eddie Gilbert in dominating fashion – see XPW Online #5)! Of course this draws HUGE boos from the NY crowd, where Muldoon is considered a local. This gets the crowd’s engine revved up enough to EXPLODE when the entrance theme of the hooker LOU THESZ finally kicks in! The Shooters Club head coach is ready for action tonight.
Exhilarating contest between the two that highlights the clash of matwork experts in the XPW Remixed time continuum. In the end (knowing that most of the Shooters Club is out in California now), Shane Douglas winds up trying to cheat with help from his Triple Threat cohorts. In this case, the thoroughly-incensed Eddie Gilbert, who swings the tide of war towards Douglas with his well-timed interference. But seemingly out of nowhere, a savior appears...
From the crowd, a Boston Bruins jersey-clad assailant scales the security barricade! He wears a bloody Jason mask and carries a hockey stick, with which he uses to unmercifully BEAT Eddie Gilbert with! Crowd pops! Shane Douglas is distracted, and leans between the ropes to shout profanities at the unknown assailant - only to eat a hockey stick shot right between the eyes! The mysterious Boston Phantom just KO'd Shane Douglas with a hockey stick! Douglas stumbles right into takedown position in the center of the ring and finds himself trapped in Lou Thesz' STF!!! Shane Douglas taps out!!! Meanwhile, the Boston Phantom retreats up the entrance ramp, waving his hockey stick in celebration and slapping hands with the fans!!! Douglas and Gilbert are PISSED!!!! Who was that mysterious masked man???
Winner (by submission): LOU THESZ
The "Boston Phantom" sticks it to the Triple Threat!!!

A WORD FROM THE COMPANY
"The Commission"
The Grand Wizard & Jack Pfefer ("The Commission") announce that a compromise has been made on tonight's main event. Instead of the previously-announced title bout, we will be having a tag team match! The Miz will be teaming with "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers to battle team of Ezekiel Jackson & Terry Funk! Now in the effort of fairness, IF the Jackson/Funk team wins the match, whoever scores the pin for their team will become the new #1 Contender @ "RAPTURE".

"King of the Death Match" Semi-Finals
SABU versus DANNY HAVOC
(Spider Net Circus Death Match)
versus
This is a literal "Dream Match" for another generation and genre of fans. The original homicidal, suicidal, genocidal SABU (circa 1997) versus the 21st century Ultraviolent Underground champion Danny Havoc. This is Sabu's first advertised appearance since being violently choked and burned by the OG Sheik (see "Halloween in Hell")... but after Havoc's entrance, there is a no answer to Sabu's theme song. Is this yet another Commission set-up??? Booking Sabu in a match they know he won't be able to make, just so the state athletic commission bans him from competing??? That certainly appears to be the case as Sabu's music goes unanswered AGAIN, and the crowd grows restless (even Danny Havoc is upset over the no-show). Just as the cocky, multi-colored turban-wearing Commission president THE GRAND WIZARD is getting ready to enter the ring and announce Sabu's forfeit loss... SABU APPEARS!!!
In a fury he strikes, appearing through the crowd! He was waiting for just the right moment, and with The Grand Wizard now exposed in the ring, Sabu charges hoping to catch TGW in his grip!!! Rightfully so The Grand Wizard flees the ring at 100 mph, nearly tripping over the ropes on the way out! Within seconds the enforcer Dick Shikat is by his side for protection. Finally the match begins amidst dueling chants of "SABU!!! / HAVOC!!!" Sabu ultimately wins with an Arabian face-buster, steel chair-assisted, from the top rope onto Danny Havoc and the circus web of barbed wire!
Winner: SABU
Sabu barely has a moment to celebrate, when TGW & Shikat are antagonizing him further - making him lunge through the ropes at them. But it's all a set-up, as Sabu is blindsided by his uncle Sheik who launched a HUGE FIREBALL at his nephews face, setting him ablaze again!!!
Sabu is left to clutch his face in pain, as EMTs assist him. Meanwhile, the evil OG Sheik (with a serpent intwined around him) stalks the ring with his burning torch like a lunatic. TGW laughs maniacally as half of the crowd is legit frightened to tears by the Original Sheik. Sabu is officially in the finals for the vacant KotDM crown at "RAPTURE"... but can he even make the show??? Or will OG Sheik automatically be declared champion in his absence!?!?
OG Sheik - Future KotDM Champion???

** BACKSTAGE INTERLUDE **
Live from the Diamond Dynasty locker room. Friction is exhibited. A still-bandaged and beaten Jack Swagger and Alex Riley are upset, but pretty much stay in line. But the Miz is OUTRAGED over losing the Television championship and not having back-up when Terry Funk beaned him with a chair (see XPW TV Episode #28). But reigning XPW Remixed champion (West Coast version) and Diamond Dynasty founder "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers tries to placate him by insisting that without the TV title "distraction" we can all focus on what's MOST important around here - the XPW championship. Rogers tells Miz he got back-up for his fight tonight against Funk when it was made into a tag team match. But Miz explodes, saying it's because Rogers wanted to duck Ezekiel Jackson that we got this tag team match tonight! And not the one-on-one Jackson/Rogers title match as previously advertised! Now ROGERS is about to explode, but the apprentice Alex Riley wisely and quickly jumps in between them. A few words to get everybody pulling in the same direction. Unity is proclaimed, but by the look in everybody's eyes it's clear that separate agendas will rule the day...

Mondo uses Ninja-like moves to dispatch of Rotten, and ultimately drive him through a pane of glass to huge cheers! With Rotten on the retreat, Mondo has the house mic for an emotional "return to action" promo where he promises to right the wrongs of the Cannibal Cartel and pay for his own sins as well... by destroying Ian Rotten once and for at "RAPTURE"!!!

HAKUSHI versus ADAM PEARCE (w/ Ad Santel)
w/ versus w/
Pearce & Santel run their mouth again with Pearce's "wrestling is everything" mission statement. Adam Pearce is the greatest "wrestler" alive, and Ad Santel is a judo champion. Their open challenge is answered by... THE OLYMPIA!!! Reigning Boston Champion William Muldoon is on the West Coast tonight alongside his guy HAKUSHI! On behalf of the Japanese warrior, Muldoon ACCEPTS the Open Challenge. Ninjitsu versus Wrestling right now!!! Hakushi is a blinding blur of offense and entertainment, and Pearce & Santel quickly become aware of that. So they sloooooow things down. Pearce actually starts earning boos and "boring" chants for his slow-down, grind-em out style. But it's clear he's doing it on purpose in the most heelish manner possible, to ground the exciting Hakushi and smother him out on the mat with his size. Adam Pearce is like the "lay-and-pray" style of MMA fighters here, who hold their opponent down on the ground and grind them out. Hakushi finds his high-flying offense stifled, and winds up succumbing to a "Perfect-Plex" bridging suplex pin for the loss. Adam Pearce gets the win and BIG boos for how he did it. Post match, William Muldoon attempts to shake rival coach Ad Santel's hand... but is rudely rebuffed by the cocky and arrogant "Cali Cripplers" leader! Santel & Pearce move back up the entrance ramp with their arms raised in victory.
Winner (by pinfall): ADAM PEARCE

Exciting match with all 6 men getting time to work their spots, but when it turns into a 6-way freefall at the end, it's the conniving B-Boy who catches Drake Younger in his "delikado" finisher for the pin. B-Boy gives his team a one-match advantage over his former training camp, and taunts the Shooters Club in the most profane, disrespectful manner possible following the match. No class.

JUSTICE IS ENTITLED
Alex Riley & Jack Swagger take the ring, dressed in their business finest, to air their grievances. Replay of the attack they suffered at the hands of New Jack & Pogo that led to hospitalization (see "Halloween in Hell"). Riley & Swagger demand justice! Instead, they have an attempted vehicular homicide to contend with when suddenly - a huge freakin SEWER TRUCK barrels down to ringside, running over wires, cameras and interns in the meantime! Shades of Steve Austin/Kurt Angle/Eddie Guerrero here, as we find out it's actually New Jack & Pogo the Clown who have hijacked the vehicle! They spray down Swagger & Riley in the most disgusting fashion possible, with huge globs of raw sewage everywhere. The Diamond Dynasty covered with crap! To huge cheers New Jack gets on the mic for the go-home promo: he's gonna give these two little homo poseurs something they've never had before in their entitled lives - a night in jail! That's right, something New Jack & Pogo the Clown are VERY familiar with (see XPW TV Episode #27 for their incarceration at the hands of Swagger & Riley). THE MIZ & NATURE BOY BUDDY ROGERS
versus
TERRY FUNK & EZEKIEL JACKSON
versus
The soiled ring was still being cleaned of excrement by the time Miz & Buddy Rogers make their vain entrance. In combat, Rogers and Miz take it primarily to Funk - hoping to keep Jackson out of the match as much as possible. When he finally does become involved, Big Zeke is a wrecking machine - heaving Miz over the top rope with a press slam, and rattling Buddy Rogers with a series of body slams. But a series of questionable Diamond Dynasty assaults on Jackson's leg and knees (illegal chopping blocks, etc) put Rogers and Miz firmly in the drivers seat once more. This time Terry Funk gets to play the fired-up hero, cleaning out the ring. Madness begins to reign, chaos unfolding around ringside after the referee gets accidentally bumped and taken out. In a climatic series of maneuvers, Jackson winds up reversing a Skull-Crushing Finale with a gutbuster - spiking Buddy Rogers with a spinebuster onto a steel chair - AND turning around to squash Terry Funk with a "Book of Ezekiel" standing uranage for good measure!!! Jackson taunts Buddy Rogers as he staggers to his feet, before crushing the XPW Champion for good with a Dominator. 1!...2!...3!!!! Ezekiel Jackson is the undisputed #1 Contender!!!
