“Flyin’” Brian Pillman vs. “The Universal Idol” Austin Idol
Idol catches Pillman on a top rope crossbody for a turnaround body slam. Pillman kicks out of the Las Vegas Leglock. Idol bounces off the ropes and Pillman kicks up into a jumping, spinning back elbow and he finishes with a standing moonsault
Winner: Brian Pillman at 8:30
“Lionheart” Chris Jericho vs. Viper Pillman
Pillman gets an Edgomatic and cockily hits a Lionsault, but it only gets a two count. He argues the count with the referee. He then turns around and takes a standing dropkick from Jericho. He follows with a Codebreaker. He yells “you didn’t hit it right, junior,” and hits a Lionsault for the victory.
Winner: Chris Jericho at 9:12
Magnum TA vs. “The Prizefighter” Kevin Owens
Owens with a package piledriver, Magnum gets his foot on the ropes. Owens goes for the popup powerbomb, but Magnum turns it into a Thesz Press. He goes ground and pound. Belly to back suplex and Owens gets his foot on the near rope. Magnum whips Owens into the near corner, but eats boot on a charge. Owens impresses with a blockbuster. Magnum cheap shots Owens after the bout and leaves him lying.
Winner: Kevin Owens at 12:18
“Hot Stuff” Eddie Gilbert vs. “National Treasure” Nick Aldis
Gilbert with a Cobra Clutch slam for two. A Russian leg sweep gets two. Gilbert does the ‘look at that over there’ fake out on the referee and pulls his small chain out of his tights and wraps it around his fist. Aldis ducks a punch and delivers a back suplex. Treasure Chest finishes.
Winner: Nick Aldis at 9:45
WCW Wild Card Title
Hair vs. Hair Match with the WCW Trios Titles also on the line
L.A. Knight © vs. Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake
Knight breaks the sleeper hold with a jawbreaker. The Bottom Rung gets a two count. He taunts the crowd before jumping off the second rope with a leg drop and misses it. Beefcake with a high knee and jumping fist drop for a two count. He points to his big clippers in the corner and goes for them, but the referee takes them away and while he throws those out, Knight low blows Beefcake and gets the Gravy Train for the win.
Winner: L.A. Knight at 13:27
Knight retains the Wild Card Title and the nWo gains back the Trios Titles as held up at Destination Dallas III. The nWo storm the ring and help Knight to shave Beefcake’s head. Tugboat Thomas comes out to help, but he’s beaten down and gets his head shaved too. Knight wants to know where the hell Hulk Hogan is to save his two best friends.
Special Two
“Glorious” Robert Roode with Mickie James vs. “The Model” Rick Martel with Asuka
Both women shake off the Nitro Girl escorts and lead their man to the ring. Roode hits the Glorious DDT on Martel, but Asuka places his foot on the ropes and calls it out to the referee. James comes over and gets in Asuka’s face. Martel recovers and gets a hotshot. He then nails a Bossman Straddle. James rips the Arrogance atomizer out of Asuka’s hands and it she pulls it back so hard, it nails Roode. Martel gets the Boston Crab and a bloody Roode taps out.
Winner: Rick Martel at 10:43
Killer Kross with Maria Kannellis-Bennett vs. “The Man With the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin
Garvin nails a snap power slam and gets the Garvin Stomp. Maria gets on the apron and tries to distract Garvin with some butt wiggling, but he slaps her on the ass and she drops off the apron. This does allow Kross to come back with his rolling knee bar. Garvin grabs the ropes to break. A Northern Lights Suplex gets two. Garvin fights out of the Doomsday Saito and gets a discus punch. Superman Punch staggers Kross to take the Stonecutter for the loss.
Winner: Ronnie Garvin at 8:32
One Man Gang with “Number One” Paul Jones vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
OMG gets a body slam, but eats knees on the 747 Splash. Roberts comes back with a short arm clothesline and a knee drop for a two count. He hits a rising knee lift and a running forearm on Gang that sends him falling back into the ropes and he gets tied up in them. The referee and Jones try to get him out. Roberts goes to his bag and pulls out Damian. Jones and Charles Robinson peace out. The noble Dusty Rhodes can’t watch this happen so he leaves the commentary position and confronts Roberts. “You bring that snake over here to me, and I’ll have a new pair of boots in the morning.” Roberts smiles oilily at the world champion and slides out of the ring. Robinson officially calls it a counout.
Winner: One Man Gang at 6:45
“The Miracle” Mike Bennett with Maria Kannellis-Bennet vs. “Stunning” Steve Austin with Col. Robert Fuller
Austin is just fired up and beats the snot out of Bennett the entire time. He does have a brief shine moment as Austin missed the second rope elbow drop. Bennett gets the Box Office Smash for two. Austin swings out of the Photo Finish into a Stunner.
Winner: Steve Austin at 7:11
WCW Women’s Title
Charlotte Flair © vs. Asuka
Asuka with a spinning wheel kick and she gets the Asuka Lock. Flair makes the ropes to break. Flair with a tilt-a-whirl gutbuster and the Queen’s Boot. Strictly Business of Royce Isaacs and Thom Latimer come out. Charlotte Flair jaws at them and referee Tommy Young comes over to tell them to leave. Kamille Kaine then comes out from under the ring and spears Flair behind Young’s back. Asuka recovers and hits a spin kick for good measure.
Winner and new WCW Women’s Champion: Asuka at 14:44
Post match Kamille and Strictly Business do a beat down of Charlotte. Commentary reminds how Kamille attacked Charlotte and caused her loss to Jade Cargill at Destination Dallas III, how Latimer helped Kaine to defeat Tessa Blanchard and that Latimer and Kamille are married. The crowd pops when David and Kevin Von Erich make the save. Commentary reminds how David and Charlotte were a mixed tag team, and seemed to get along well, on the Nitro prior to Destination Dallas III.
