This week’s episode began inside Dario Cueto’s office, where he was very pleased to greet Randy Orton. He was anxious to know what brought him to his Temple. Orton said that he had heard this was where the best luchadores in the world came to fight. He has dominated the world of sports entertainment, and while it has brought him fame and wealth, his reputation as an Apex Predator is something that real fighters and luchadores have scoffed at for years. By entering the Temple, he will methodically work his way through the locker room, taking down one luchador after another. Then, they will know that his reputation was earned. Dario Cueto asked when he wanted to start. Orton said, “Tonight.” They shook hands. Then, Orton told Cueto by the end of the year, they won’t only call him the Apex Predator but the Lucha Underground Champion.

Andrade “Cien” Almas & Los Lotharios: Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza
Garza attempted a hurricanrana on Awesome Kong, but she didn’t go down and instead powered him up and dropped him down into a sit-out powerbomb. She made the pin, but Carrillo broke it up with dropkick to the shoulder. Ripley ran in and dropped him with a big boot. Andrade took her down with a springboard hurricanrana. Baszler tried to clothesline him, but he ducked it and hit her with a superkick. Kong put him out on his feet with a nasty headbutt, then dropped him out of the ring with a military press.
Garza tagged in Carrillo, who took her down with a missile dropkick. They tried to get Kong in a double-team vertical suplex, but she turned it into a double vertical suplex on them. Everyone crawled to their corners and the hot tags were made. Andrade and Ripley charged at one another, with Andrade taking her down with a spinning heel kick. Andrade tried for the three amigos, but Ripley blocked the third and gave him a front suplex dropped into a gutbuster, and getting a 2-count on the pinfall. Ripley went for Riptide, but Andrade countered it into a spiked DDT. He went for the cover and Ripley kicked out at two.
Andrade tagged in Garza, who went for a frog splash, but Ripley got her knees up. She tagged in Baszler, who struck with a lariat and then gave him a wristlock into the arm stomp. Baszler kicked him in the back of the head and put him in an anklelock. He tried to kick her away, but she held on, leading Carrillo to run in and break it up. This led to Kong, Ripley, and Andrade entering the ring. A huge brawl ensued. Ripley nailed Carrillo with a vicious lariat, then gave him the Rip Tide. Kong clotheslined Andrade over the top rope, then went outside to brawl with him. Baszler nailed Garza with a jumping knee under the jaw and got him in the Kirifuda Clutch to force him to submit. With the win, the Amazonas Tribe will compete for the Trios Championships next week.

TRIOS CHAMPIONSHIPS TOURNAMENT SEMIFINAL MATCH
Rey Misterio Jr. & Los Guerreros: Eddie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero Jr.
vs.
Legado Del Fantasma: Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro
Wilde and Del Toro took out all their opponents with stereo hands-free topé con hilos. Escobar followed with an Arrow from the Depths of Hell that knocked them over like dominos. Next, Legado del Fantasma went back to the ring apron, where Wilde stood on the middle rope, and Escobar and Del Toro shook it, launching Wilde into a springboard inverted senton that sent him flying some 10-12-feet from the ring to knock down their opponents in the entrance aisle.
Escobar returned to the ring with Misterio and after executing a slingshot leg drop, pinned him for a 2-count. Escobar put him on the top turnbuckle and gave him a frankensteiner. He pinned him again, but Misterio kicked out again. Escobar tagged Del Toro, who executed a suplex lift into a lungblower. He made a quick tag to Wilde, who went to the top rope and executed a phoenix splash. He made the cover. Eddie dove in to break it up. Escobar tried to attack him, but Guerrero reacted with a quick hurricanrana that sent Escobar to the floor. He took him out with a slingshot somersault senton.
When Eddie got up, he was attacked by Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa. Chavo dropped off the ring apron to run to his aid. As this happened, Misterio executed a wheelbarrow bulldog on Wilde to get the upper hand. With the referee distracted by the fight outside the ring, which had now become a 3-on-2 situation with Hikuleo joining the fray, Del Toro tried to attack Misterio with a steel chair, but he dropkicked it into his face. Misterio gave Wilde the 6-1-9, but then he was pulled off the ring apron by Rey Haku, who put him in the Tongan death grip. Once Misterio was incapacitated, he tossed him back into the ring and called off his sons, who by this time had laid out both Guerreros on the floor.
Escobar tagged in, picked up Misterio, and gave him the Thrill of the Hunt (phantom driver). 1…2…3! Legado Del Fantasma got the win and will go on to meet the Amazonas Tribe in the tournament finals next week.
WINNERS : Legado Del Fantasma

An incredibly tall man, wearing a tie and suit exited an elevator and greeted several people as he walked down a large hall before entering the “Knox County Mayor’s Office.” He greeted Cathy, the secretary. She addressed him as, “Mr. Mayor.” He asked her if he had any messages this morning, and she gave them to him along with the morning’s print edition of the Knoxville News Sentinel. He took these items into the office with him and sat at his desk. He saw the light flashing on his phone, put it on speakerphone and dialed his voicemail while looking over his morning messages. He had 3 new messages. First new message:
"Hello, I have uncovered some disturbing news. President Donald Trump didn’t die of natural causes. That is a cover up. He was murdered by the FBI!"
The Mayor threw his head back in laughter. He deleted the message. Second new message:
"Hello, I have uncovered even more disturbing news. Your old boss, Vincent Kennedy McMahon was a CIA agent and he too was murdered by the FBI!"
Again, the Mayor laughed and deleted the message. Third new message:
"You probably don't believe me. Ignore me at your own peril. Just know that I’ve been through hell, fire, and brimstone to discover the truth!”
The Mayor saved the message and dialed his secretary. He told Cathy to put him on the line with the IT department. When they answered, he told them it was Mayor Jacobs, and he needed them to give him a log of all his incoming calls from the last 24-hours.
