Highlights from the WarGames match at Starrcade International are shown. We then go live to the ring with the nWo. L.A. Knight is holding an nWo T-shirt. “After beating up Harry Smith last night, we had the numbers advantage in WarGames, then Hulk Hogan decided to even it up, but we got the numbers advantage back, yeah. I’ve been begging Bret Hart to come home to the nWo for more than a month now. Come out here Bret, claim this shirt, claim your spot and claim your right in the nWo, yeah.”
Bret comes down and takes the microphone from Knight. “I want to make one thing perfectly clear. I never walked out on the Hart Foundation last night. I walked out on Hulk Hogan. I kept telling Hogan to keep his nose out of Hart Foundation business and after I saw him in the pink and black, I just couldn’t take it any longer. But turning my back on Hogan, doesn’t mean I’m turning my front to the nWo.”
Owen Hart comes out with a microphone in his hand. “You can spin this however you want, Bret. You didn’t just walk out on Hogan, you walked out on your brother and brother-in-law. You betrayed us and you can’t deny that.”
Bret laughs a little. “You know, that’s comical coming from my brother who has turned his back on me more times than I can count. I seem to remember Jim standing with you against me at least a couple of those times.”
Owen takes the shirt from Knight. He throws it at Bret and tells him to put it on. Knight asks the crowd, “who wants to see Owen Hart vs. Bret Hart tonight.” The fans cheer for it. Owen tells Bret he’ll see him back in the ring later and walks out.

You see, my man, I wasn’t trying to poison your mind, I was trying to cleanse his. My Viper. Viper Pillman. You see I want him to keep your last name, because I want everyone to know what the fruit of your loins brought into this world. Chris Jericho is in the ring and he’s surrounded by a bunch of toys, a couple bicycles, a fur coat and a lot more. He invites Magnum TA to come out. He doesn’t look happy.
“Magnum, I want to let you know there are no hard feelings between us. I took your money, well, my money now that I won it from you last night, and I bought your wife and my kids…I mean your kids…some presents with your money…I mean my money now.”
Magnum tells Jericho to take all the presents and cram them up his ass.
“If you don’t want your family to have a nice Christmas, that’s pretty selfish of you, Mr. Grinch.” Jericho gets the crowd to chant ‘Grinch TA.’ Magnum goes to attack Jericho from behind, but he was expecting it and spins around to catch Magnum with a Judas Effect. Jericho then gets security to come out and help him pass out all the stuff in the ring to people in the crowd. If Mangum doesn’t want it for his family, others should enjoy what Jericho bought with Magnum’s money…er, his money now.

Highlights are shown from Kurt Angle vs. Brian Cage at Starrcade.
SoCal Val has Kurt Angle on the interview stage. As he talks he tears off the Warrior tassels and rubs off the face paint. “I might be the Ultimate Olympian, but the Warrior gods forsake me last night against Brian Cage. I’m tired of looking like a silly goose to all the WCW fans. I’m a serious wrestler, damn it. I heard Randy Savage, returning from injury, was the first person to announce himself for the Tremendous Tussle. Well, I’m going to be the second. And I’m making a special challenge to Savage for Saturday Night’s Special the evening before. Winner enters the Tussle at 30 and the loser at number one. And the Ultimate Olympian will become the Ultimate Tussle winner and then the Ultimate UWA Champion. Oh, it’s true. It’s damn true.”

Highlight from Starrcade are shown of the Steve Austin vs. Dusty Rhodes bull rope match with Rhodes claiming the WCW World Heavyweight Title.
We go live to Dusty Rhodes in the ring with the WCW World Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. “The American Dream lived out his dream in becoming the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, baby. But it just wasn’t my dream, it was the dream of everybody back home in Texas, here in Australia and the world over. And it might be Christmas now, but between now and New Year’s we all going to get funky like a monkey, because there’s a lot to celebrate. And that’s WCW having a real man as the real world’s champion, daddy.”
Steve Austin comes out with a microphone and gets in the ring. “When I defeated you at Halloween Havoc it was because you passed out from blood loss and you claimed to have never submitted. I gave you a rematch and I agreed to the stipulation you wanted. Well, last night at Starrcade, I never submitted either. I had my arm raised by the referee and it fell three times and that’s a technical submission in wrestling and I’ll live with that, but I never tapped the canvas, I never shook my head and I never said ‘yes, I quit.’ If you’re the man you claim to be, Dusty Rhodes, you’ll give me the exact thing I gave you for the Tremendous Tussle.”
Rhodes responds. “Steve Austin, you’re a low-down, yellow-bellied, dirty egg sucking dog and a worthless son of a bitch; but on this one thing only you’re not wrong. The American Dream is the man he says he is and I’ll prove it at the Tremendous Tussle. You get your rematch and you call the shot.”
Rhodes extends his hand. Austin glares at him for a moment, then takes it and pulls Rhodes in for a microphone shot to the head. Austin hits a few more times and Rhodes is bleeding. “And that stipulation will be a first blood match. Hell, I’ll probably win as you walk to the ring.” Austin spikes the microphone down and walks off. Rhodes gets back up bloody and yells for Austin to come back and face him. But the rattlesnake got what he wanted.

He calls her out to meet him on the next Nitro and sign her name on the bottom line so this living nightmare can be over for the both of them. “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan is on the interview stage with SoCal Val. “Last night at Starrcade I saw an opportunity and took it, brother. I’ve been itching to get back in that ring, but I also wanted to help the Hart Foundation and Bret Hart. I had the black and pink ready to go in case the chance ever came up that I could join the Hart Foundation and do some good, brother. If the Hulkster is guilty of anything, jack, it’s caring too much about his friends. But, like usual, brother, who I thought was my friend was never my friend all along.”
Bret Hart comes out to a chorus of boos and takes the platform with Hogan. “I know you’re probably surprised to see me out here. You probably thought I’d be too busy getting ready for my match with my brother, Owen, coming up. I don’t need to prepare for Owen at all, I was born ready for him. I noticed you didn’t come out at the top of the show, because you don’t have the guts to look me in the eye and address what happened at Starrcade. Well, I’m standing here. I’m looking you dead in your beady eyes, so tell me what you’re really thinking, Hogan.”
Hogan takes a moment. “I don’t care what you think about me. You can’t join the nWo. You can’t let them win. You can’t put on the black and white and forsake the black and pink, brother. You and me, that’s one thing. You and the nWo, that can’t happen because you're mad at me or your family is mad at you, brother. It will only end badly for you, because I used to be who L.A. Knight is now brother and hooking up with the nWo brother can only end one way, brother.”
Bret scoffs. “You wish you were L.A. Knight. A real leader with a future ahead of him, not a friendless hasbeen with only memories behind him.” Bret walks off and Hogan is distraught.

Randy Savage is on the Shane-O-Tron via Zoom from his home in Sarasota, Florida. He didn’t come on the Australia trip because he’s still recovering from a dislocated elbow. SoCal Val asks him about Kurt Angle’s challenge from earlier.
“Satellites linking up in space, uh-huh, yeah, so the Macho Man can be there live and in living color to the good people of Australia. Kurt Angle running around thinking he’s the Ultimate Warrior. The Macho Man knows a thing or two about the Warrior, uh-huh, yeah. A lot of people said the Warrior’s best matches ever were against me. They said I brought out the best in him. Maybe Kurt Angle can finally have a good match too against me, who knows. Believe me Angle as I peer into your soul from a million miles away through the videoscope. I’ll face you at Saturday Night’s Special, because it doesn’t matter if the Macho Man enters the Tremendous Tussle at number one or number 30, I’m winning it all and becoming the next UWA Universal Men’s Champion, yeah, dig it.”

Bret “The Hitman” Hart defeated “The Rocket” Owen Hart by submission via sharpshooter at 18:11. Bret cranks it out and refuses to let go after the bell. Tommy Young tries to get him off, but Bret shoves him down and goes back to cranking on the Sharpshooter. L.A. Knight runs down and slides a steel chair into the ring. He’s also carrying the nWo shirt. Hulk Hogan comes out, but he’s jumped from behind by Will Hobbs. Jim Neidhart runs out and is jumped by Killer Kross. Everyone is fighting in the aisle and the Knight is loving the chaos. Bret lets go of the sharpshooter and picks up the steel chair. Owen from his knees tells Bret to hit him and put on the shirt. Bret shrugs, nails Owen in the head with the chair, turns to Knight and tells him to throw him the shirt. He does and Bret puts on the nWo shirt as the other guys keeping fighting and we fade to black.
