Spears grabs the mic and says he’s done taking hits for Jarrett. Last week is the last time he takes a hit in the name of Double J. And he walks out. Jarrett turns, flabbergasted, to JBL, who says Spears is right…and JBL hits Jarrett with the Clothesline from Hell! Pat McAfee notes that Jarrett hired security to protect him from Wardlow, but he should have been more concerned with his friends!

Match 1 - Rey Mysterio Jr. (8-3) vs. Jake Hager (12-8) w/ Dean Malenko
Mysterio nearly pulled off the win after hitting the 619, but Malenko pulled the ref out of the ring. Hager took the chance to hit Mysterio with a low blow, followed by the Hager Bomb for the win in 9:40.

Mankind is in a dark room, sitting on the floor and rocking back and forth. “Sammy Guevara — you think that just because you’ve beaten Cactus Jack and Dude Love that you have my number, too? The two of them are all about fun. Mankind is all about pain. I enjoy pain, and I’ll make you feel all of the pain that I do.”
—
Wardlow comes out to the ring next. He says that JBL’s actions today don’t absolve him from past sins committed in Jeff Jarrett’s name. In fact, JBL is still going to pay for his allegiance to Jeff Jarrett. Tonight, it’s Wardlow vs. JBL in the main event. Wardlow wants to give Jarrett a preview of what is coming for him.
“Are you Ready?” hits and DX comes on stage. Triple H asks the crew to roll the footage from last week — showing HHH run in to save Wardlow from a guitar to the head, only for Wardlow to clothesline him. Trips says that they each have other battles to fight right now. But he is putting Wardlow on notice: Wardlow reminds him of another big, tough brute with charisma that Triple H faced almost 20 years ago. But while he let Batista get the better of him back then, there won’t be a repeat performance for Wardlow. Eventually, Triple H and Wardlow will go toe-to-toe. And it’ll be Game Over for Wardlow.

Match 2 - Kenny Omega (6-2) w/ The Young Bucks vs. Jey Uso (0-0) w/ Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa
Omega wins with the One-Winged after a hard-fought match. He got a little bit of help from a Matt Jackson Super Kick while the ref was checking on Omega, who picked up the win in 10 minutes.
After the match, the Bucks brawled with the Usos, while Omega retreated up the ramp…only to be speared by Goldberg! Goldberg has a mic. He says he just confirmed a match with Tony Khan. Goldberg vs. Kenny Omega next week.
—
Match 3 - Non-Title: TBS Champion Sasha Banks (14-3) vs. Velvet Sky (1-9) w/ The Beautiful People
Banks wins with the Bank Statement in 3:19. After the match, the stable attacks and lays Banks out. Alexa Bliss poses over her with the TBS Championship.
—
AEW World Champion Cody Rhodes is out to the ring next. He says that he and Malakai Black have been doing a lot of talking over the last couple of weeks, and now it's time to put their money where their mouth is. Rhodes says he has the contract in his hands to defend the championship against Black at Winter is Coming.
Black appears on the screen with a grin. He says Rhodes is playing into his hands by jumping the gun. Rhodes isn’t prepared for Black. The camera cuts out in the middle of him talking and the lights flicker. When they return, Black is in the ring. He spins Rhodes around and sprays him with black mist before hitting him with the Black Mass. While Rhodes lays on the mat, Black signs the contract. The lights flicker again and Black is gone.
—
Goldberg is shown getting into his car. As he’s driving away, another car comes speeding toward him and runs into the driver's side door. A masked man gets out of the car and runs away. He has some curly hair poking out under his mask.
—
Match 4 - Top Flight (0-0) vs. Los Parks (5-13) (six-man tag team action)
The debuting Top Flight gets the win when Dante Martin hits a Springboard Cutter on LA Park Jr. at 11:48.
—
Coach updates viewers that Goldberg was injured in the accident in the parking lot. He wonders who could have done it — Pat McAfee asks if he’s serious, which causes Coach to stumble for a moment. They announce that Goldberg vs. Kenny Omega isn’t happening next week, but will surely be rescheduled for when Goldberg is healthy.
—
JBL is pacing backstage, muttering that it’s unfair for him to face Wardlow tonight. This wasn’t the plan.
—
Roman Reigns is standing with the Bloodline backstage. He references the Young Bucks and plays up next week’s “dream match” pitting the Bucks against the Usos. Reigns notes that, right now, he doesn’t have much else going on right now…or does he? Reigns said that it appears that he and Goldberg have a common enemy. And, since Kenny Omega’s schedule is open next week, the Head of the Table is here to fill the vacancy.
—
Match 5 - Britt Baker (5-2) vs. Bianca Belair (7-2)
The match gets thrown out after about 3 minutes when UWA Women’s Champion Jade Cargill comes out to the ring and boots both competitors. Belair stands and starts fighting with Cargill, who hits a brutal European Uppercut on her. Baker jumps on her back, but gets smashed into the turnbuckle. More women run in from the back — AEW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey; Willow Nightingale; Paige VanZant; Kris Statlander — and it turns into a huge brawl that eventually is broken up by security. Cargill storms off, yelling about Belair and the rest of the roster needing to respect her as we head to break
—
After the break, Coach announces a huge eight-woman tag team match set for Winter is Coming, featuring the teams of Rousey, Statlander, Nightingale and Belair vs. Jade Cargill, Beth Phoenix, Tay Melo and Serena Deeb. Coach notes that some of the teammates are enemies. Will they be able to coexist?
—
Sammy Guevara comes to the ring with Tay Melo and the TNT Championship. He asks Melo how she got pulled into the big women’s tag match next week, and she just shrugs. He puts on the Dynamite Diamond Ring and says he looks forward to holding onto both his championship and his ring. He was watching when Mankind said his piece earlier today. He asks the crowd if they think he should settle the score with Mankind…tonight!? The crowd cheers loudly, before Guevara says they don’t deserve to see him wrestle. In fact, he’s done wrestling in 2023. If Mankind wants a shot at the TNT Championship, he’ll have to win next week’s Battle Royale.
—
Backstage, Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks burst into Tony Khan’s office. Omega asks what the hell he’s thinking, booking him to face Roman Reigns. Khan says that Omega is lucky that he’s not walking out of here in handcuffs right now. If anything prevents next week’s match from happening, Omega will be fired. The Elite throw a fit and leave the office.
—
Main Event - Wardlow (3-0) vs. JBL (4-9)
Wardlow gets the win in 3:11 with an impressive Powerbomb Symphony. Throughout the match, we saw Jeff Jarrett watching in the back, holding an ice pack on his neck and looking worried.
