In a pre-taped promo, “Stunning” Steve Austin talks crap on Dusty Rhodes and how a six man tag win is nothing compared to facing him one on one for the WCW World Heavyweight Title at Capital Combat. When Austin looks at Rhodes, he sees the American Dream alright. A fat, out of shape, has-been that talks about what could be but never does anything about it. And that’s the bottom line because Stunning Steve said so.

Shane McMahon in a pre-taped promo makes a programming announcement. WCW puts on the biggest and best pay-per-views in the Universal Wrestling Alliance, but big isn’t always better. He’s heard from the fans and he’s always interested in strengthening ties with their broadcast partners at Fox, which own Tubi. So, instead of the Free-4-All preview show that was previously on Tubi, now the night before the pay-per-views will be WCW Saturday Night’s Special, free and exclusive on Tubi. All the action and big matches of a regular pay-per-view, but available for everyone to watch.
