Asuka with “The Model” Rick Martel defeated Kamille Kaine with Thom Latimer by submission via Asuka-Lock at 12:21. Martel sprayed Kaine in the eyes with Arrogance while Asuka had the referee distracted. Latimer attacks Martel, but takes the spray can upside the head.

SoCal Val has WCW U.S. Champion Nick Aldis on the interview stage and asks him about the triple threat at Capital Combat against Mike Bennett and Bobby Roode. Aldis doesn’t care if he fights one man, two men, a whole platoon at one time. What goes on inside the ring is inside the ring. But, outside the ring is a different matter. He knows Roode will have his estranged wife Mickie James with him and Bennett always has his wife, Maria. Aldis introduces his equalizer, Madusa Micelli.
Madusa talks about how Col. Robert Fuller kicked her to the curb after he refocused and restocked his Stud Stable. She didn’t fit into his plans anymore, but he’s still in hers. The plan now is to make sure the Stud Stable doesn’t win any more gold in WCW. And, Mickie James, it’s not over yet.

“The American” Dream Dusty Rhodes and Grizzled and Chiseled (“The Man with the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin and “Grizzled” Sam Houston) defeated The Stud Stable (“Stunning” Steve Austin, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig and “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff) with Col. Robert Fuller by pinfall of Rhodes on Orndorff by Bionic Elbow at 10:32. The heels get a beatdown afterward and leave the faces lying on the mat.

Magnum TA is on the interview stage with SoCal Val. Once again, Chris Jericho isn’t anywhere to be seen. He’s hiding behind being UWA Universal Men’s Champion. Once he no longer has that belt, he’ll have no excuse to not be on Nitro every week. This has gone beyond Magnum wanting the title. He wants Jericho’s hide. He doesn’t care who the next Universal Champion is, as long as Jericho loses the belt and soon.

Lady Frost defeated Thunder Rosa by pinfall via Ice Pick DDT at 7:32. Charlotte Flair runs out and spears Rosa while the referee is distracted and Frost scores the pinfall victory. This is revenge for Flair losing a tag match last week to Blanchard and Rosa as Frost stepped in to replace Rhea Ripley.

SoCal Val has William Regal on the interview stage. He’s all in rage and chews out Charlie Dempsey, his supposed son, which he doesn’t believe. If he wants to face him in the wrestling ring. He has to prove it. Beat Squire David Taylor later tonight and Regal will give Dempsey a match at Capital Combat.

“Latino Heat” Eddie Guerrero defeated “The Model” Rick Martel by frog splash at 13:29. Thom Latimer came out to stop Asuka from spraying Guerrero in the eyes with Arrogance and the distraction allowed Eddie to take over and get the win.

Wendi Richter is on the interview stage with SoCal Val. Rhea Ripley has made their WCW Women’s Title match at Capital Combat personal. She seriously injured Cyndi Lauper last week and she won’t be around for a while. Footage of the attack from the last Nitro is shown. However, Richter has told Lauper to stay away, because she doesn’t want her to get hurt again. And she also doesn’t want her friend to see what she’s going to do to Ripley. It won’t be pretty.
Ripley then appears out of nowhere, blindsides Richter and throws her off the stage. Ripley said that was a bunch of talk. She’s nothing but action, like we saw just now. Capital Combat will see her as the new WCW Women’s Champion and that’s all she has to say on it.

Charlie Dempsey defeated Squire David Taylor by pinfall via Power of the Punch at 4:36. Regal slipped Taylor the brass knuckles, but Dempsey catches him from behind with a back suplex and Taylor loses the foreign object. Dempsey gets them and uses them, much like Regal would, and steals the victory.

Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart are talking in the back about the Hart Foundation having an eight man tag coming up against the nWo. Bret tells Hogan to stay in the back. He doesn’t want him out there and be something else he has to worry about. Hogan tells Bret he doesn’t have to worry about him. Hogan might be in forced retirement, but he can still take care of himself against the New Worse Odor. Bret reiterates how Hogan isn’t active and to let the Hart Foundation take care of business out there.

The Snake Pit (Black Mamba and Copperhead) with Jake Roberts defeated the Pillmans (Brian Sr. and Brian Jr.) by pinfall of Copperhead on Pillman Jr. at 6:45 via Venomous Strike (Black Mamba chokeslam followed by a Copperhead splash). Throughout the match Roberts is berating Pillman Sr. from the floor telling him that his son is holding him down, he needs to cut the kid loose and focus on himself. At one point, because of Roberts, the older Pillman misses the hot tag and the younger Brian just doesn’t have enough left in the tank after. Brian Sr. walks off, leaving his son in the ring after, but the commentators speculate that it seems like he’s more mad at himself than his son.

L.A. Knight is in the back rallying the troops for their upcoming eight man tag with the Hart Foundation. The nWo is the elite stable in WCW. And the Stud Stable…they’re okay. But, the Hart Foundation are nothing but Canadian losers. I mean, have you seen what they call bacon? Poutine, what the hell is that? Every single member of the nWo has gold. This might be as small as the faction has been in a long time, but less is more. They are as tight as the nWo has been since it was first founded by Hogan and those other two guys who are working elsewhere and will therefore be nameless. The nWo rules WCW stronger than ever and that’s just a fact of life.

John Kronus defeated Frankie Kazarian by pinfall via Kronus Driver II at 14:04.

We get a vignette of Kurt Angle still wandering the desert. Suddenly he comes to a highway and a semi truck rolls up. The door opens and Angle climbs inside. Driving is the Ultimate Warrior. Angle tries to get out, but the doors are locked. Warrior screams “Load the spaceship with the rock fuel” and floors it. Outside, we see the truck transform into a spaceship and it flies off. (The CGI is pretty bad, we don’t have that much money.)

The nWo (L.A. Knight, Mike Bennett, Will Hobbs and Kevin Kross) defeated the Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart and Harry Smith) in an eight tag by pinfall of Knight on Smith via Gravy Train at 14:44. Everyone brawls to end the program.
