“Stunning” Steve Austin cuts a promo on Randy Savage. “Tonight, is the night I finally claim the WCW World Heavyweight Title from Randy Savage. He’s had every advantage in the matches we’ve had so far. Those advantages go away tonight. Pinfalls count anywhere. There’s no Elimination Chamber cage or ring with a busted rope to prevent me from winning. It’s not a conspiracy theory if it’s true. And what I’m telling you is the bottom line, because Stone Cold said so. But, remember too, I’ve always be stunning.”

“Macho Man” Randy Savage cuts a promo for the main event. “Steve Austin says it’s not a conspiracy theory if you’re right. It’s also not paranoia if they’re really coming to get you, yeah. And I’m coming to get Austin tonight, no doubt about it, uh-huh, yeah. He blames the Elimination Chamber for beating him. He blames the ring for beating him. He blames everybody but himself, yeah. And while the blame is yours Austin, the responsibility for kicking your ass tonight and always until the end of time is the Macho Man’s. Dig it!”
