We get a pre-taped promo from Thunder Rosa about how she gives Perez credit. She understands that she only beat Perez by a fraction of a second during the battle royal at the Queen of the Ring Tournament. They fall off the apron a slightly different way and Rosa is the challenger, not the champion. Since winning the title, all she’s wanted is a worthy challenger and she feels like she’s finally got one in Perez.

Cut to the back and the Rock ‘n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) and the Pillmans (Brian Sr. and Brian Jr.) are hanging out and talking. Jimmy and Terry Garvin enter the picture. The Garvins and Proud and Powerful lost to the four the previous week on Thunder. Jimmy gives them crap for being buddy-buddy when the two teams will be facing off at GAB. Somebody is snowing somebody, but, then again, he doesn’t think either team is smart enough to set-up the other. Brian Sr. tells Jimmy not everybody are dirty, low-down liars like him and his brother and challenges him to face him in the ring.

Ron “The Truth” Killings cuts a pre-taped promo on Adrian Street based on what Street said last week. “Saying we both like music is like saying we’re both professional wrestlers. Maybe on paper, but in real life, we are really far apart, man. I don’t want to imagine what you could do to me, that’s what’s up.”

“Exotic” Adrian Street defeated Dutch Mantell by pinfall via Street Sweeper (full nelson leg sweep) at 7:11.
Segment Notes
* Street vs. Killings has been added to GAB.

In a non-title match, the New Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart) defeated Proud and Powerful (Santana and Ortiz) by pinfall of Hart on Santana via moonsault at 10:30.

Promo video for Great American Bash plays and the next pay-per-view is announced, Fall Brawl on Sept. 24 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Davey Boy Smith with Col. Robert Fuller defeated “Grizzled” Sam Houstin by pinfall via running power slam at 11:11. Smith does a beat down afterward, just because, and Ronnie Garvin runs out to make the save.
This leads to a jump start to the main event as “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff runs out and jumps Garvin. Orndorff has the upper hand to start, but Garvin ducks a clothesline and comes back the other way with a Superman punch. He goes for the Garvin Stomp, but Smith attacks Houston who is still at ringside recovering. Garvin jumps to the floor and chases Smith, who runs into the ring. Ronnie has his head taken off with a wicked lariat and Orndorff finishes with a piledriver at 5:32.
Segment Notes
* Creative needed one more match for the Free-4-All preshow for GAB and hot shotted an angle with Smith and Garvin, who were two of the bigger names not on the show. It’s also thought Garvin and Houston could be challengers to Perfectly Wonderful in the future.
