Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Ladd slugs out of a bear hug and puts Atlas down with a flying shoulder tackle off the ropes. Atlas fights against going up for the Slapjack Slam and throws Ladd into the ropes. He catches him coming off with a scoop Samoan Drop. Atlas gets mesmerized by Edwards’ feets and Ladd makes a come back with a head vice slam. Big boot to the seated Atlas on the mat. Maria jumps on the ring apron barefoot and this gives Atlas strength to kick out of a cover. Polish Hammer and Atlas goes for a running power slam, but Ladd slides off the back and pushes Atlas into Maria on the apron. Ladd grabs Atlas from behind with a head vice slam. Slapjack Slam to win. Atlas attacks Ladd afterward. He takes off his boot and looks ready to jam his food into Ladd’s mouth when security led by Steve Blackman comes out to stop him.
Winner: Ernie Ladd at 8:45.

Jake Roberts talks with Black Mamba menacingly behind him. All Roberts heard from Hennig and Jericho earlier were empty words. But what he says is the Gospel According to Jake Roberts. And win or lose in the ring, he wins at life by driving a wedge between Hennig and Jericho. They’re on the same page, Roberts begs to differ. Because when it comes to Black Mamba (Omos dressed like Drago) all game plans are out the window.

SoCal Val has Bret Hart in the back. “I’ve bounced around a lot in the UWA the past few years with, let’s be honest, some less than stable promotions. The happiest I’ve been lately was when I was on loan from WWE to WCW here last fall. I was with my brother, Owen Hart, and best friend, Jim Neidhart. I couldn’t ask for more and when the latest little UWA shakeup happened I took the opportunity to come back to WCW, not on a temporary basis, but for permanent. And on top of everything else, I see I’m needed here more than ever with the nWo reformed under that no good, lousy Hulk Hogan. The Hitman is in WCW and he has a mission to take on and take out the nWo once and for all.”

SoCal Val has Kevin Owens. “There’s an old saying that when God closes a door, he opens a window. I lost here tonight against Kurt Angle and there was no shame in that. However, before the bout, Shane McMahon told us both something he wanted us to keep quiet until after. With Bret Hart coming to WCW, somebody had to go to WCCW. And that was going to be the loser of me and Kurt Angle. But going to the new World Class I don’t see as being a bad thing. It’s a very good thing and I will be the new WCCW World Heavyweight Champion and I will make WCCW the premiere promotion in the UWA. The only thing I’m disappointed about is leaving WCW with the nWo still intact. But, I know Bret Hart will fight the good fight and I’m leaving the nWo with another opponent that won’t let them rule WCW.”
