Rick Martel and Mickie James vs. Will Hobbs and Taya Valkyrie
Referee: Joey Marella
Valkyrie has James up for the Road to Valhalla, but Martel comes in and clips her knee to break it up. Hobbs comes in to attack Martel, but he low bridges the top rope and Hobbs flies to the floor. Martel is grabbed from behind by Valkyrie and he’s put up into the Road to Valhalla in an impressive sight, but James clips the knee. Marella restores order. Tag to Martel and he gets a knee breaker on Taya and goes to the Boston Crab. James jumps onto Hobbs’ back as he gets up off the floor. He flings her off pretty hard into the ring wall, but he can’t break up the Boston Crab before Valkyrie submits.
Winners: Rick Martel and Mickie James at 13:33

Savage, Hennig, Rhodes and Magnum cut a promo for WarGames. They might be an odd mix of personalities, but they all have one common goal - to destroy the Stud Stable and end their iron grip on the WCW World Heavyweight Title. All four of the guys want a shot at Orndorff’s title belt. Who will get it? That’s not important tonight. Winning WarGames is all they have on their minds.

Rock ‘n Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) vs. the Funk Brothers (Terry and Dory Jr.)
Referee: Tommy Young
Terry misses the moonsault and Morton gets the hot tag to Gibson. Dory comes in and gets dropkicked to the floor. Terry takes three arm drags and a flying head scissors. Scoop slam off the ropes. Tag to Morton for a rocket launcher to finish.
Winners: Rock ‘n Roll Express at 12:43

The Stud Stable cut a promo for the upcoming WarGames. They reveal they won the coin toss to enter first. Col. Robert Fuller says he’s going to come in last, because it won’t matter by that point. His guys will have the other team on their last legs and it will be Fuller’s great pleasure to put the final nail in the coffin.

WCW Women’s Gulf Coast Title
Tamina Snuka © with “Number One” Paul Jones vs. Thunder Rosa
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Winner and new champion: Thunder Rosa at 9:45.
-----
SoCal Val in the back has the Battle Bowl Mixed Tag Team Challenge winners of Rick Martel and Mickie James. They get Gulf Coast title shots. James tells Thunder Rosa her reign with the belt will be shorter than Snuka’s. Martel won't know who he’s facing until later on this evening. It’s either going to be Billy Graham or Nick Aldis, James’ husband. He kind of hopes it’s Aldis, because he’s pretty sure who Mickie will be rooting for and he gives a cocky wink to the camera. James doesn’t reveal anything in her facial expression.

Shane McMahon is on the entrance stage and reveals his surprise which he guarantees will break the pay-per-view service in last minute buys. We get a surprise opening match for the main show of new talents to WCW, “Stunning” Steve Austin vs. Eddie Guerrero.
Main Show
“Stunning” Steve Austin vs. “Latino Heat” Eddie Guerrero
Referee: Tommy Young
Guerrero gets two rolling suplexes, but doesn’t hit the third for the Three Amigos. Austin blocks and reverses into his own. He gets a hotshot and covers for two. Eddie shoves out of the stunner and lands a dropkick to the back to send Austin to the floor. Eddie with a baseball slide out, but Austin dodges and Guerrero misses. Austin throws Guerrero into the ring wall, then hangs him out to dry on it and comes off with a knee drop to Eddie’s back from the apron, but Guerrero moves and Austin jams his own leg on the wall. Both guys are spent and it’s a double count out at 16:21.

SoCal Val has Billy Graham in the back. “Nick Aldis thinks he can submit the Superstar and win the WCW Gulf Coast Title here tonight at Hollywood Homecoming II. With arms like these (he flexes) either my full nelson or my bearhug will crush you into little itty, bitty bits, Aldis. And if you do get that Sharpshooter on me, look at these tree trunks I call legs (he flexes his legs). I won’t feel a thing and can power right out. They say a good little man can beat a good big man anytime, well I’m the best big man and you’re nothing but a weak little man, jack.”
Davey Boy Smith vs. Harry Smith
Referee: Joey Marella
Intense brawling to start. Davey Boy powders for a breather, but Harry chases. Davey Boy sidesteps a charge and pushes Harry to post his shoulder. Davey Boy works the shoulder pretty good. He goes for the running power slam, but Harry slides off and Davey Boy turns into a kick to the gut and an inverted stunner for a two count. He goes for the Bulldog Bomb, but the arm is weak and Davey Boy is able to flip out and get a standing dropkick. Military press slam. He cockily yells at the fans and doesn’t go for Harry right away. So, when he finally goes to pick Harry up, he suckers his dad with a small package for the flash victory.
Winner: Harry Smith at 12:11
Harry offers his dad a handshake after, but he slaps it away and knocks Harry over with a lariat. A pissed Davey Boy skulks off.
-----
SoCal Val has “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan and Dennis Rodman in the back. They’re going to do it nWo style tonight on Kevin Owens and Killer Kross, because they’re just too sweet.
Pinfalls Count Anywhere
Ember Moon vs. Tessa Blanchard
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Moon and Blanchard have fought up into the concourse area and Moon goes for the Eclipse off of a merchandise stand, but misses. Blanchard then uses the table for a slingshot belly to back suplex. Moon blocks the Buzzsaw and twists out of it into a kick to the gut. Butterfly suplex through the merch table gets a two count. Moon knocks over the pipe and drape backdrop and tries to use the pipe on Blanchard, but she nails Moon with a superkick. Camel clutch with the pipe, but Moon powers up and slams Blanchard back first to the floor. Fallaway slam gets two. She goes for the Michinoku Driver II, but Blanchard blocks and turns it into a jumping cutter. Buzzsaw finishes.
Winner: Tessa Blanchard at 15:21
-----
SoCal Val has Eddie Guerrero in the back. He’s not happy to have his first match back in WCW being a double count out against Steve Austin. That’s not what he wanted and it’s not what the people wanted to see. He challenges Austin to get in the ring with him again anytime, anywhere.
WCW World Tag Team Titles
Powers of Fear (Meng and Barbarian) © with “Number One” Paul Jones vs. New Foundation (Owen Hart and Jim Neidhart)
Referee: Joey Marella
Hart baseball slides under the double big boot and pops up to make the hot tag to Neidhart. He hits both guys with a couple clotheslines each and then body slams both. Jones slides the roll of silver dollars to Barbarian. They get the drop on Neidhart as Marella tries to gain control. Barbie goes to hit Neidhart with the silver dollars while he’s being held by Meng. He gets loose and Meng is nailed. Anvil Flattner on Barbarian. He tags Owen for the Hart Attack clothesline and we got new champs.
Winner: The New Foundation at 10:54
-----
SoCal Val has Chris Jericho in the back. He’s not scared of Jake Roberts. Unlike Indiana Jones, he’s got no fear of snakes. What he does have is frustration and aggravation over Roberts trying to shoehorn his way into the UWA Men’s Title picture. Jake keeps saying it’s not about the belt, it’s about knocking Jericho down a peg. Well, if he doesn’t want to be the UWA Men’s Champion then he’s not as smart as Jericho and most people think he is. Y2J is going to school him tonight.
Hair vs. Gold Medal
Kurt Angle vs. “Flyin’” Brian Pillman
Referee: Tommy Young
Angle hits a German suplex and rolls into an ankle lock. Pillman gets up on his other foot and breaks with an Enzugiri. Hangman’s neckbreaker gets two. Angle ducks under the Air Pillman and Brian walks into a spinning lariat. Back to the ankle lock and Pillman makes the ropes to break this time. Young backs Angle off and when he charges, Pillman pitches him to the floor. Slingshot crossbody to the outside, but Angle catches Pillman and delivers a fallaway slam into the ring wall. Belly to belly suplex on the floor. He rolls Pillman back in and goes for the Anglesault and misses. Pillman with a diving crossbody with corkscrew for the victory.
Winner: Brian Pillman at 20:22
Angle freaks out post match about losing his hair, blindsides Pillman and puts on the ankle lock without letting go. Steve Blackman leads security down to the ring and they break Angle off. Blackman nails a superkick and then puts Angle in the Dragon Sleeper. While he’s out, Blackman holds him and Pillman shaves his head.

Promo video for the next pay-per-view Slamboree on May 28 from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
SoCal Val has Jake Roberts in the back. Jake tells Chris Jericho he just doesn’t get it. The match tonight isn’t about taking his title belt, it’s about taking his soul. But as Jake thinks about, maybe it’s the same thing. Taking the title and taking Jericho’s soul is one in the same, isn’t it. Roberts will do what he needs to do tonight to get the job done.
Gorilla Monsoon announces from commentary that due to the added surprise opener taking extra time the ladder match for the WCW Women’s Title between champion Charlotte Flair and Kamille Kaine will main event Nitro tomorrow evening.
“Hollywood” Hulk Hogan and Dennis Rodman vs. “The Prizefighter” Kevin Owens and Killer Kross with Maria Kanellis-Bennett
Referee: Joey Marella
Dennis Rodman gets the big boot on Kevin Owens, but misses the leg drop. Owens with the hot tag. Kross comes in and…promptly choke slams Owens. Marella isn’t going to disqualify Kross for hitting his own man, so Hogan tags in and finishes with the leg drop.
Winner: Hulk Hogan and Dennis Rodman at 7:11
Maria takes off her dress to reveal an nWo bikini. Eli Drake and Mike Bennett come out wearing nWo shirts. They give one to Kross and he puts it on. Hogan gets a microphone.
“I said we were going to do this nWo style and we did, brother. There was a third man to be revealed all along and it was Big Sexy Killer Kross, brother. Kevin Owens was too stupid to figure it out. He outright said nothing was ever said about a tag match with me and Rodzilla against him and Kross until I brought it up. And, yeah, me and Kross might have fought in the past, but money talks and you know what walks, jack. The nWo is back and better than ever, brother, because I’ve got better partners this time than the drunk and the human hair flip, jack. And this time we’re just not going to run roughshod over WCW, we’re going to bury it and p*ss on the grave, brother.” Hogan then spray paints nWo on Owens and they leave.
-----
In the back, SoCal Val has Steve Austin. “The first thing that everyone needs to know is that WCW came looking for me, I didn’t look to come back. The second thing is that Eddie Guerrero was just a speed bump on my way to the WCW World Heavyweight Title and he may want another shot at me, but I don’t want another shot at him. The third is, a lot of people think I’m stone cold, but I’ve really always been stunning.”
Submission Match for the WCW Gulf Coast Title
“Superstar” Billy Graham © vs. “National Treasure” Nick Aldis
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Aldis breaks a bearhug with a bell ringer. He gets a knee lift and stuns Graham with a flying forearm. Knee clip and Nick gets the Sharpshooter, but Graham manages to power out. He gouges the eyes without Edwards seeing. Shoulder breaker and Graham goes to a full nelson. Aldis walks to the near corner and flips over Graham to break. He jumps on his back with a sleeper hold. Graham rams Aldis back first into the turnbuckles three times to break. Aldis sits on the top rope and Graham goes to biel him off, but Nick kicks him away. Double ax handle off the top. Knee clip and back to the sharpshooter. Graham makes the ropes to break. Aldis runs the ropes, but is knocked down with a shoulder block. Billy goes for a running power slam, but Aldis slips behind and gets a drop sleeper. Graham struggles mightily, but fades and goes out.
Winner: Nick Aldis at 17:32
-----
SoCal Val tries to grab Kurt Angle, but he has a towel over his now bald head and yells at her to leave him alone. Pillman comes in and says he’s not sure what Angle has left to put up for his gold medal, but he’s open to giving him another shot in winning him back. He really doesn’t want to take Angle’s dignity, but, hell, he seems to be giving it away for free.
UWA Universal Men’s Title
“Lionheart” Chris Jericho © vs. Jake “The Snake” Roberts
Referee: Tommy Young
Lionsault eats knees. Jake comes back with the boxing punches and a rising knee lift for a two count. He goes for a whip into the corner, but Jericho reverses and Roberts re-reverses into the short arm clothesline. He lines up the DDT, but Jericho drives Jake into the near corner. Y2J with a backflip kick and step up enzuigiri. He brings Roberts out of the corner with the one-handed bulldog. Second Lionsault hits, but Roberts kicks out at 2.9. He says screw this and goes for Damian, but walks into the Judas Effect for the loss.
Winner: Chris Jericho at 18:32
-----
SoCal Val has Nick Aldis in the back. He’s proud to be the new WCW Gulf Coast Champion. Even though Bruno Sammartino is gone, he feels this win vindicates him for the poor refereeing job at SuperBrawl. It’s not the UWA Universal Men’s Title, but Aldis is going to wear this belt and defend it like it is. Val asks Aldis about Mickie James winning the mixed match tournament earlier with Rick Martel. Well, he was focused on his match and didn’t see that, but he’s sure he and Mickie will be celebrating later tonight.
WarGames
“Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig, “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes and Magnum TA vs. The Stud Stable (“Mega Man” Tom Magee, “The Expatriate” Del Wilkes, “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff and Col. Robert Fuller)
All referees present at ringside
Everyone enters in the order listed above. Rhodes, Savage, Wilkes and Magee bleed. Fuller sneaks a foreign object into the ring with him and nails people with it. However, Rhodes hits Fuller with a clothesline from behind and he takes the foreign object. He puts it into his elbow pad and nails Fuller with a couple bionic elbows and now he’s bleeding. Orndorff takes the corner apart and has the turnbuckle hook. He tries to attack Dusty with it, but Magnum cuts him off and takes it. Rhodes holds Fuller and Magnum just waits so long Fuller gets loose and Magnum nails Rhodes with the hook. Orndorff swoops in with a piledriver on Rhodes. Magnum goes to the cage door and walks out. Orndorff with a second piledriver. Savage and Hennig are being held off by Wilkes, Magee and Fuller with the foreign object and turnbuckle hook. A third piledriver and the referees outside call the match off declaring that Rhodes can’t continue.
Winners: The Stud Stable at 48:30
SoCal Val runs out from the back and grabs Magnum TA in the aisle and asks what’s going on. “Dusty Rhodes betrayed me at Slamboree. He guaranteed he wouldn’t throw the towel in as my designated terminator so I could win the WCW World Title from Paul Orndorff. And what does he do? He drops the towel to showboat in the ring and fight the Stud Stable himself. Then the next night on Nitro he gets himself a title match while I’m laid up in the hospital. That was probably his plan all along. I showed Dusty Rhodes the loyalty here tonight he’s shown me since entering WCW. Dusty Rhodes called me friend and brother, but Rhodes is only a friend and brother to himself. I’ve always been Rhodes’ sidekick, but no more.” The scene fades as the heels continue to beat the faces in the cage and officials and security are trying to pull them off.
