NWA Wrestling taped April 25, 2023, Tuesday. Airs April 29, 2023, Saturday.
The show kicks off with action highlights of the NWA champions in action before going to the desk with the announcing team of Gordon Solie & Rick Stewart. Joining them is interviewer Charly Caruso and ring announcer Kayla Braxton. Gordon & RIck introduce the new NWA World's Heavyweight Champion Don Muraco. We see a clip of the finish from last Saturday's PPP where Muraco pinned former champ Greg 'the Hammer' Valentine. Muraco is serious when he tells the fans he is the beginning a new reign of excellence in the NWA. The new NWA World's Champ tells everyone that he will do whatever it takes to keep that belt. Finally, Muraco adds he is looking forward to stepping in the ring with the UWA World's Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. That's another belt he wants around his waist.

NWA Commissioner Jim Barnett is out with the United States Heavyweight Belt which Don Muraco had to vacate when he won the World's Title. Barnett says at the May 20 Pay-Per-View, When World's Collide, in Atlanta's Georgia Dome, a new United States Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. Four men will fight it out in two singles matches with the two winner going for the vacant United States Heavyweight Belt. The four participants include ex-World's Heavyweight Champion Greg the Hammer' Valentine managed by James J Dillon, 'Dirty' Dick Slater, 'the Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol & 'Captain Redneck' Dick Murdoch.
1. Six Man Tag Team Match. The Freebirds (Terry Gordy, Buddy Roberts & Michael Hayes) beat Johnny Mantell, the Hangin Judge & 'Rattlesnake' Jeff Raitz. (6:55). Roberts pins Raitz with a neckbreaker.
Caruso interview with 'Cowboy' Bill Watts & Chief Wahoo McDaniel on their challenge match at the end of the second hour with Kenta Kobashi & Mitsuharu Misawa w/mgr. 'Playboy' Gary Hart. Commissioner Barnett promised them that Hart & Kabuki will not be allowed ringside during the match.
