Dynamite: March Madness - March 15
We get a stylized intro promoting the beginning of the King of Trios Tournament, which evokes the NCAA March Madness bracket.
Bracket
We head right to the action for the first match -
Match 1 - 1st Round of King of Trios Tournament match-up: LAX (8-5) vs. RVD, Sabu & Dean Malenko
LAX controls the match early, with Hernandez and Konnan isolating Malenko, until he gets a hot tag to RVD, who runs wild. The former ECW trio gets the win in 10:38 with a Five Star Frog Splash from RVD.
—
Coach and Pat McAfee welcome the audience to the show, and run down the rest of the card, which includes an All-Atlantic Championship match, a UWA/AEW title match and a no-disqualification showdown between Jeff Jarrett and Jon Moxley.
Match 2 - All-Atlantic Championship: Samoa Joe © (4-2) vs. Rey Mysterio (2-0)
Joe and Mysterio have a classic big man-little man match, as Mysterio works throughout to chop Joe down. He gets a nearfall after connecting with that 619, but Joe kicks out. He takes control when Rey tries a springboard senton, only for Joe to catch him and hit a big powerbomb. Joe gets the win in 14:49 after hitting a Muscle Buster.
After the match, Joe tosses Mysterio to the corner and lifts him up for another Muscle Buster. But Taz’s music hits, and he and Hook run down to the ring and slide in. Joe runs after Hook and hits a shoulder-block. Taz gets behind him and tries locking in the Tazzmission, but Joe shrugs out of it and shoves him away. Now Mysterio, Hook and Taz are standing on one side of the ring, looking at Joe, who sneers at them before leaving the ring with the championship draped across his shoulder.
—
We see side-by-side shots of Jade Cargill and Sasha Banks arriving at the arena. Banks gets stopped by Coach, and she’s asked about tonight’s big match. Is it her last chance to win the UWA and AEW Women’s Championships? Sasha looks him up and down and says the Boss is here for one reason, and that’s to prove that she is the best in the business.
When Coach caught up with Cargill, she laughed at the suggestion that Banks had a shot at beating her. Cargill vowed to retain both championships and keep up her dominant run in professional wrestling.
—
UWA Men’s World Champion Chris Jericho makes an entrance and comes to the announce table before the next match.
Match 3 - No-DQ: Jeff Jarrett (10-4) vs. Jon Moxley (4-4)
Jarrett stops by the table and sneers at Jericho before getting in the ring.
Jarrett and Mox have a physical match, with Jarrett using weapons to get the upper hand on Mox, who hits a Paradigm Shift outside the ring. By the time he rolls Jarrett into the ring for the pin, Jarrett is able to kick out.
This brings out JBL and Shawn Spears to attack Mox. He fends them off initially, but once Jarrett gets back up, the three Apex members start to overwhelm Mox. At the announce desk, Jericho puts down his headset and goes to the ring, where he springboards in and hits JBL with a quick Codebreaker while Jarrett hits Mox with The Stroke. Jericho starts yelling at Jarrett, calling him a coward and a disgrace. Spears comes from behind and hits the C4 on Jericho.
Jarrett slides out of the ring and reaches under, where he pulls out two acoustic guitars and slides back in the ring. Spears picks Mox up to go for a C4, but that gets reversed into a Paradigm Shift! Jarrett catches Mox with one of the guitars as he stands, then Jarrett gets the pinfall at 13:19.
After the match, the Apex continues stomping on Mox and Jericho. JBL has recovered and holds Jericho up for Jarrett to smash his guitar over. The trio leaves afterward, with Jarrett stopping by the announce table to pick up the UWA Championship. He admires the belt for a moment, then tosses it in the ring at a recovering Jericho before walking off.

Match 4 - 1st Round of King of Trios Tournament match-up: Chosen Bros and Gable Steveson vs. Los Parks
The Bros and Steveson win with a Cobb Tour of the Islands at 8:46. The teams shake hands, and are interrupted by Natural Selection, who comes out to the stage. Cesar Duran has the mic, as Brian Cage, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander flank him.
Duran - “We saw the tournament bracket released earlier today and our team was still missing from the list. Natural Selection is the present and future of this business. We’ve got the AEW Tag Team Championships. And a future World Champion in Brian Cage. We deserve a chance to win the inaugural AEW King of Trios Tournament. In fact, Tony Khan has now seen the light — in the event that a team currently in the tournament is unable to compete, we will enter the tournament in their place.” The team moves toward the ring, but Duran calls them back and says “not now, not yet” as we go to commercial.
—
Main Event - UWA/AEW Women’s Championship: Jade Cargill © (19-0) vs. Sasha Banks (6-1)
Cargill and Banks each get a big-time entrance, then stare each other down in the ring before the match. Cargill raises both of the belts high over her head, while Banks looks up at them hungrily.
The competitors brawl in the ring, and Banks repeatedly tries to lock in the Bank Statement early, as it was banned during their last match. She works on Cargill’s arm throughout, and repeatedly frustrates Cargill’s attempts at hitting big moves. Cargill leaves the ring to regroup, and Banks follows her out. They brawl up the ramp and onto the stage as the ref starts counting. He reaches the count of 7 as they’re up on the stage. Banks hits a roundhouse kick to Cargill’s head, while Cargill catches her with an uppercut at the same time. Both women fall to the ground as the ref reaches count 9. They get up and move toward the ring, but the ref reaches the count of 10 and the match ends in a double count-out, which draws boos from the fans until Tony Khan comes out.
He says that we’re not going to end Dynamite on a count-out, and we’re not going to end this huge match and feud with a count-out.
They restart the match in the ring, and Cargill hits a quick Irish Whip into a big boot for a 1-count. Banks hits a dropkick; Cargill hops up and ducks another kick, following it up with a clothesline and a body slam. She goes for the Jaded, but Banks reverses it into the Bankrupt. She follows it up with the Bank Statement! She locks in the submission hold and locks it in. Cargill gets close to giving up, but gets a second wind and drags Banks to the ropes to break the hold.
As Cargill rises, Banks goes for another Bank Statement, but Cargill slams her down. She hits Jaded and heads to the turnbuckle! Cargill climbs the turnbuckle and stands on the top rope! She jumps off and hits a big splash on Banks, going for the pin. 1…2…3! Cargill retains both the AEW and UWA Women’s Championships, in a total match time of 19:45. She celebrates as we go off the air.

Rampage: March Madness:
Paige VanZant opens the show. She recaps her feud with Ronda Rousey, and her journey over the last year. She was watching on Wednesday night when Cargill beat Banks. It’s time for VanZant to fully take the next step. She is the one woman who can beat Cargill.
—
Match 1 - Sammy Guevara (12-5) vs. MVP (3-1) - Tay Melo barred from ringside
After a back-and-forth match, Guevara rolls up MVP for 2, and MVP reverses it into a rollup of his own for 2. Guevara later goes for a 630 splash, but MVP rolls out of the way. He hits the Playmaker and gets the pin after an 11-minute match.
—
Abadon and Alexa Bliss are backstage. Bliss tells Beth Phoenix she needs to mind her own business. She’s just afraid of the power at work in Abadon and Bliss.
Abadon says that they were watching Paige VanZant earlier tonight. It sounds like people can just declare that they should get a title match. She is here to strike terror in all of the women on the roster. If that means defeating the undefeated Jade Cargill? Then that’s what they’ll do.
—
Match 2 - Madison Rayne & Angelina Love w/ Velvet Sky vs. Riho & Willow Nightingale
Rayne gets the pin on Nightingale after the CrossRaynes, while Sky kept Riho from breaking up the pin in 6:28.
—
Backstage, Cody Rhodes is talking with Cactus Jack. He wishes Jack luck, and says he’ll be the first in line to challenge if he can somehow defeat Goldberg tonight.
—
Main Event - AEW World Championship: Bill Goldberg © (3-0) vs. Cactus Jack (1-2)
Jack puts up a good fight, but Goldberg’s power wins out. He hits a Spear and Jackhammer to get the win at 7:55.
The show ends with Goldberg asking Who’s Next? “I’m Comin’” hits the speakers, and MVP walks out onto the stage with a smirk. Goldberg glares toward him.
The show ends with a preview of the rest of the King of Trios tournament. Cody Rhodes and the Young Bucks will face Beer Money and Shawn Spears, while the New Day will face Jurassic Express!
