The Dudley Boyz vs. The Bar : Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley attempted a 3-D on Cesaro, but he countered it with a European uppercut to Bubba Ray while being lifted up by D-Von. Cesaro got up and D-Von gave him a spinning back elbow, but then when he got up from that, Sheamus gave him a Brogue Kick to take him out. Bubba Ray attacked Sheamus and they brawled until Bubba Ray executed a Bubba Bomb on Sheamus. When he got up, Cesaro gave him a Neutralizer and pinned him for the win. UWA UNIVERSAL WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Sasha Banks {c} vs. Becky Lynch : Sasha Banks executed a back stabber and rolled through into the Bank Statement. Becky Lynch struggled to reach out for the ropes, but Banks put her feet on the ropes to keep them out of reach. The referee warned her of a disqualification, and when she kicked off the bottom rope, Lynch had her folded over into a pin that got a long 2-count. Back to their feet, Banks hit a superkick, sending Lynch into the ropes and rebounding back with a vicious forearm. Both women were down until the count of nine. When they got up, they exchanged punches and kicks until Banks jumped up for a hurricanrana. Lynch countered with a sit-out powerbomb. The pin got a 2-count. Lynch went up to the top rope. She went for a diving leg drop, but Banks moved out of the way. Banks went to the top rope and executed a meteora. She hooked the legs in a rana pin. Lynch kicked out. Banks got her in a wheelbarrow victory roll for another 2-count. Lynch ducked a clothesline attempt and executed her own back stabber and applied the Dis-Arm-Her. Banks appeared to be on the verge of tapping out but made one last effort to get to the ropes and got a two on the bottom rope. Lynch executed a Bexploder suplex. Next, she went for the Manhandle Slam, but Banks countered with a crucifix pin to get a 2-count. Lynch charged at her and Banks lifted her over the top rope with a back body drop attempt. Lynch landed on the ring apron on her feet. She ran to the turnbuckles and went for a diving attack, but Banks countered with a code breaker, then transitioned to the Bank Statement to make Lynch submit. LIMITLESS BATTLES THE BLOODLINE: Keith Lee & Bobby Lashley vs. Roman Reigns & Umaga : Keith Lee’s mystery tag team partner was revealed to be Bobby Lashley, a genuine surprise to everyone in Nissan Stadium. Roman Reigns and Umaga were unprepared for the All Mighty, which is why the Wise Man, Paul Heyman, made a stink about Lashley being there and asked for the match to be thrown out before the bell even rang. His protestations fell on deaf ears. The match proceeded, and Lashley played a big role. He got Reigns up the air for a delayed vertical suplex and held him there for 20 seconds before dropping him. Lashley set up for the spear, but Reigns crawled to the corner and tagged in Umaga. Lashley and Umaga fought for about half a minute until Umaga went for a Samoan Spike. Lashley did a matrix evasion, then a quick kip-up and ran to the ropes, coming back to nail Umaga with a spear. Reigns tried to spear Lashley, but he moved out of the way and Reigns slammed into the turnbuckles. Lashley tagged in Lee, who came in and hit Reigns with a pounce so hard that he flew over the ropes. Lee then showed off his incredible strength by hoisting Umaga onto his shoulders and giving him a Big Bang Catastrophe for the win. (14:23) -- Winners by Pinfall: Keith Lee & Bobby Lashley
WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: WALTER {c} vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin : In the late stages of the match, WALTER and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin were brawling outside the ring when WALTER tried to whip Austin into the steps only to have him reverse it and then stomp a mudhole in him. Austin tossed WALTER back into the ring and attempted a Stone Cold Stunner, but after landing the kick to the midsection, Austin was shoved towards the ropes by WALTER, who then took him down with a big boot to the face. WALTER quickly picked up Austin and gave him a Golden Bomb. He held him down for the pin, but Austin kicked out at two. WALTER lit Austin up with some chops (as he’d been doing all match), which made his pectoral muscles look like raw meat. WALTER gave Austin a release German suplex and went to the top rope. He attempted a splash, but the Texas Rattlesnake rolled in towards the turnbuckle to get out of the way. Once back on their feet, Austin fired punches and WALTER responded with chops. WALTER went for a whip, but Austin reversed it and caught WALTER with the Lou Thesz Press. After giving him a lot of punches, Austin went to the second turnbuckle and landed a pointed elbow drop. He made the pin, but WALTER kicked out at two. Austin picked up WALTER and gave him a kick to the midsection. Again, WALTER blocked the Stone Cold Stunner – this time with a Gojira Clutch! Austin tried to get to the ropes, but WALTER pulled him away, so Austin kicked his foot off the middle turnbuckle to fall back and land on top of WALTER, pinning his shoulders down. WALTER released the hold and kicked out at two. WALTER ducked a clothesline and then attempted a running big boot. Austin ducked that and when WALTER turned around, Austin caught him with the kick to the abdomen and the Stone Cold Stunner! WALTER fell back under the ropes. Austin stopped him from rolling over to the floor, dragged him into the ring, brought him back to his feet and gave him a second Stone Cold Stunner to knock him out cold. He hooked the leg. 1…2…3! “Stone Cold” Steve Austin became the new WWE United States Champion, ending WALTER’s historic title reign! (18:06) -- Winner by Pinfall: “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
LAST WOMAN STANDING: Lita vs. Bayley : Bayley put Lita through the Spanish announce table with a Bayley-to-Belly suplex. Lita got up before the referee could reach the count of ten. Bayley grabbed a kendo stick from under the ring and tried to hit Lita with it but she ducked and the stick cracked on the barricade. When Bayley turned around, Lita gave her a barricade-assisted tornado DDT on the floor. Bayley beat the referee’s count, so the battle continued. Lita went for an Irish whip, but Bayley reversed it, causing Lita to hit the barricade. Bayley charged at her and Lita dumped her over the barricade with a back body drop. Lita climbed over and the two superstars brawled through the crowd. Bayley gave Lita a bodyslam on the ground. Lita gave Bayley a vertical suplex on the ground. Lita executed a Twist of Fate off some chairs onto the ground. Bayley just barely got up and fought her way back to the point of giving Lita a Bayley-to-Belly from several rows up in the ground level seating risers through some tables. Lita just barely beat the count. They continued to brawl until they were new the side of the Summerslam entrance set. After another Twist of Fate, Lita placed Bayley on top of some electronic equipment gear boxes, then climbed the side of the set from the ground to the stage, where she leapt off and executed a Litasault onto Bayley. They were both down for the referee’s count, but Lita pulled herself onto her feet after the count of nine. Bayley remained motionless as the referee counted ten. (15:49) -- Winner by Knockout: Lita
BIG MATCH JOHN vs. HOT ROD: John Cena vs. Rowdy Roddy Piper : Rowdy Roddy Piper had John Cena trapped in the corner, where he peppered him with boxing jabs to the head and torso. When he was finished, he whipped Cena to the opposite turnbuckle and charged in after him. Cena got a boot up, then took Piper down with a one-handed leaping bulldog. After that, he put Piper in the STF. Piper would not quit. He clawed and dragged his way to the ropes to force a break. After Piper got up, Cena came at him, and got thumbed in the eye. Piper gave him a side belly-to-back suplex and made the cover, but Cena kicked out at two. Piper picked him up and gave him a vertical suplex. He went for another pin, but again, Cena kicked out. Piper gave him some side elbow drops and a jumping knee drop and made another cover, but Cena kicked out. Piper then applied a figure-four leg lock. Cena refused to quit and turned it over. Piper got to the ropes to force the break. They both got up and traded punches. Cena eventually won the battle and went for an Irish whip. Piper reversed it and set up for the back body drop. Cena leap frogged him and came back with a flying shoulder block, and then another. Piper went for a wild haymaker. Cena ducked it and gave him a spin-out powerbomb instead. Cena bent down and gestured that Piper couldn’t see him, then went to the ropes. His Five Knuckle Shuffle attempt missed as Piper rolled out of the way. Piper took Cena down with a school-boy roll-up and grabbed two hands full of jorts. Still, Cena kicked out. Piper leveled him with a clothesline, then executed a piledriver and made the pin. Cena kicked out. Piper harassed the referee about a slow count, risking disqualification for it. Frustrated, he picked up Cena and through to the outside. Then, he went and prepared to put Cena through the English announce team table. He climbed onto the table with Cena and set up for the piledriver, but Cena countered with a back body drop, putting Piper through the Spanish announce table. The referee’s count was close to ten when Cena quickly slid into the ring and back out to break the count. He went to pick up Piper, who gave him a blatant low blow, leading the referee to disqualify him. Piper didn’t seem to care though. He continued the assault, nailed Cena with a chair several times and threatening to hit officials with it if they tried to stop him. He brought Cena to the English announce table and broke it by giving Cena a piledriver. Piper looked please with himself. He was escorted out of the stadium for security and referee officials. Meanwhile, Cena was wheeled out of the stadium on a stretcher. (18:41) -- Winner by Disqualification: John Cena
WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP LADDER MATCH: FTR {c} vs. Lucha Bros vs. Usos : Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler executed the Big Rig on Rey Fénix. Jimmy Uso went for a superkick on Wheeler but missed. Then, Harwood gave him a release German suplex into a ladder that was leaning against the ropes. FTR picked up a ladder and propped it up. Wheeler climbed the ladder as Harwood stood guard. Jey Uso did a springboard dropkick to take Harwood down. Penta El 0M pulled Harwood out to the ring apron and gave him a package piledriver. Penta entered the ring and helped Jey tip over the ladder, sending Wheeler down to gut hung on the top rope. Jey hit Penta with a superkick then started to climb the ladder. Fénix used the ropes to springboard onto the ladder and fight with Jey. Jimmy brought another ladder into the ring and set it up. He climbed it. Penta climbed the other side. All the brothers were trading punches with each other until Jey was knocked off the ladder by Fénix, who then gave him a meteora from off the ladder. Jimmy knocked Penta off the ladder and gave him a frog splash. Fénix started up the ladder again. Jimmy caught up to him as he got his hands on the titles. They traded punches until Harwood and Wheeler tipped over the ladder and sent them both crashing out of the ring, smashing off a pair of ladders bridging the ring and barricade. They gave Jey the Big Rig and gave Penta a Mind Breaker. After that, they had a clear path up the ladder. Both men ascended to the top and retrieved one belt each. FTR retained the titles and remain WWE World and UWA Universal Tag Team Champions! (17:10) -- Winners by Unhooking the Title Belts: FTR
WWE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: Triple H {c} vs. Ricky Steamboat : Ricky Steamboat went for an Irish whip, but Triple H reversed it and executed a Double-A spinebuster. He made the cover and Steamboat kicked out at two. Triple H put him in a figure-four leg lock. Steamboat tried to turn it over, but Triple H blocked by grabbing onto the bottom rope. This happened a few times before the referee caught on and warned Triple H to release the hold. When he let go of the bottom rope, Steamboat turned it over and dragged him away from the ropes. Triple H screamed out in pain, but eventually made it to the bottom rope. They were both slow to get up. Triple H came at Steamboat, who caught him by surprise with a small package pin. Triple H kicked out at just in time. He went for a clothesline, but Steamboat ducked it, then gave Triple H an atomic drop, a pair of chops and a dropkick. Triple H went out to the floor. Steamboat grabbed the top rope and flung himself over with a slingshot plancha.
Steamboat tossed Triple H back into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle. Triple H got up and Steamboat went for the diving crossbody, but the Cerebral Assassin countered it into a gutbuster. He quickly brought Steamboat to his feet and started hooking his arms in for the Pedigree, but Steamboat fought it, got them loose and swept his legs. He grabbed the right leg and started to go for his own figure-four, but Triple H kicked him into the turnbuckles with his free foot. He got up and make a running knee lift attempt, but Steamboat sidestepped it and put him in a sleeperhold. Triple H frantically reached around and got the referee by the shirt. The referee told him to let go, but Triple H pulled him in and caused a collision with Steamboat, allowing him to break free.
With the referee knocked out and the challenger knocked down, Triple H crawled to the side of the ring where he collected his trusty sledgehammer from Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. He got up and saw Steamboat slowly getting up. Once he was on his feet, Triple H waited for him to turn to face him then went for a shot from the butt end of the sledgehammer. Steamboat ducked it then dropkicked Triple H from behind. He dropped his weapon, hit the ropes and rebounded right into a snap bridging German suplex. 1…2…3…4…5…6.
Steamboat could have won this match twice over if the referee were up. He went to check on the referee, but as he did, Adam Cole entered the ring and gave him a superkick. He gave Steamboat the Boom, then grabbed Triple H and helped him make the cover. Heenan worked on reviving the referee. The ref took a while to get into position, then counted. 1…2… kick out! Cole grabbed a steel chair and climbed into the ring.

CM Punk is here in WWE! Cole readied himself for a fight. Triple H told Cole to go after him, so he left the ring and started traded punches with CM Punk in the entrance aisle. FTR ran down and helped Cole, which brought out the Hardy Boyz. They brawled in the entrance aisle, up the stage, and into the back.
In the ring, Triple H picked up the sledgehammer and looked around the ring for Steamboat. When he found him, he was in mid-flight, having already jumped off a turnbuckle. Steamboat landed the diving crossbody. He stuck the landing for a lateral press. 1…2… Heenan pulled the referee out of the ring! Then he got up on the ring apron to draw Steamboat’s attention. Steamboat got up and walked towards him. A hooded man jumped in the ring and attacked Steamboat from behind. He gave him a slow turning, quick falling snap neckbreaker. He got up and took off his hood. It was Rick Rude!
Rude left the ring as Triple H got up, grabbed Steamboat and executed a Pedigree. A second referee arrived in the ring and administered the count. 1…2…3! Triple H retained the title and celebrated his win in the ring with Heenan and Rude, with Steamboat lying motionless and looking up at the lights, as the show went off the air.
