* Beginning Monday Night RAW. *
The WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions, FTR defeated the Hardy Boyz, Lucha Bros., and The Usos by pinfall at 21:19 when Cash Wheeler pinned Jey Uso after FTR gave him the Shatter Machine. In winning this fatal fourway tag team match, FTR receives a shot at the UWA Universal Tag Team Championships against the current champions, Strike Force, at the UWA Supercard on July 3, 2022. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan took the mic and said the next time you see Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler, they’ll be wearing three belts each because FTR is best tag team in the world.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to “The Bastard” PAC about the unfortunate injury last week to his Bastweights teammate “The Bruiserweight” Pete Dunne. PAC said it was an unfortunate turn of events, especially since they had secured a shot at the WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship. The pursuit of those titles will have to be put on hold, but he can now pursue the WWE Undisputed World Championship as next week he will compete in a Money in the Bank qualifier and he promises to break Shawn Michaels’ heart.
Rhea Ripley defeated Sarah Logan by submission at 6:25 when she made her tap out to the Prism Trap. With the win, Ripley became the second superstar to qualify for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Daniel Bryan defeated Cesaro by submission at 15:27 when he made him tap out to the Yes! Lock. With the win, Daniel Bryan became the second superstar to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to the Wise Man Paul Heyman, who told him that Keith Lee has some impressive physical tools, but the very thought that Keith Lee could compete inside the ring, and pose a threat, to Roman Reigns is the most laughable thing he has heard in a long, long time. Heyman has a message for Keith Lee, no your limits, and back off before your career is ended at the hands of his Tribal Chief.
“All Ego” Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky of Men of the Year defeated Psicosis and Juventud Guerrera of the Mexicools by pinfall at 6:10 when Scorpio Sky pinned Psicosis after giving him the TKO. As soon as the match was over, Brock Lesnar came out and started towards the ring. Page and Sky exited the ring and left through the crowd to avoid a confrontation with the Cowboy.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels about his opportunity to qualify for the Money in the Bank match next week. Michaels said that PAC calling himself “The Bastard” is nothing if not honest because it is the right name for someone with a face that not even a mother could love. PAC is athletically gifted, but no one is a better athlete or wrestler in WWE than the “The Heartbreak Kid”. He is fooling himself if he thinks he can beat the “Showstopper.” Next week, HBK is going to qualify for the Money in the Bank ladder match and go into the match that he put on the map and secure the briefcase.
Aja Kong defeated Peyton Royce and Billie Kay of the IIconics by pinfall at 8:23 when she pinned Billie Kay after giving her the Uraken spinning backfist. She also gave one to Royce. This was a handicap match because the IIconics insisted on competing together in this Money in the Bank qualifier match. What they didn’t know was that Kong would be their opponent. It was a successful surprise return to WWE for Kong, who will now compete in the women’s Money in the Bank match.
Ricky Steamboat defeated Kenny Omega by pinfall at 14:25 after he executed the diving crossbody and stuck the landing for the lateral press pin. As a result, Ricky Steamboat becomes the third superstar to qualify for the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to “Limitless” Keith Lee. Responding to Paul Heyman’s earlier comments, Lee said that you underestimate him at your peril. Next week, he’ll show that to the world when he goes one-on-one with Umaga for a spot in the Money in the Bank ladder match. When he wins, the Bloodline will have no choice but to bask in his glory.
Shayna Baszler defeated Ruby Riot by submission at 5:53 to the Kirifuda Clutch. After putting Riot to sleep, Baszler grabbed a microphone and called out the name of Bianca Belair. Instead, Becky Lynch came out and asked who Baszler thought she was calling out the Women’s Champion. The only woman who has the right is Big Time Becks. Baszler told Lynch that if she wants to fight over the chance to challenge Belair for the WWE Undisputed Women’s Championship, then come on down to the ring and do it. Lynch declined, saying that Baszler wasn’t worth her time, but warned her to stay out of her business.
Mean Gene Okerlund spoke to Kevin Owens to find out why he assaulted Booker T after defeating him in the ring last week. Owens said that he was frustrated with how the cards in the deck have been stacked against him lately – getting cheated out of the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania Backlash and crooked officiating in his match with The Undertaker at Super Showdown – and he is sick and tired of it. The WWE Universe will respect him. If it doesn’t show him the respect he deserves, he’ll force it to give it to him.
The non-title match between WWE Undisputed World Champion Triple H and The Undertaker ended in a double disqualification at 16:14 after both Adam Cole and Sting interfered. The Undertaker gave Triple H a chokeslam and pinned him. Triple H kicked out. He tried to set him up for a Tombstone, but Triple H slipped free as The Undertaker tried to scoop him up. After blocking Triple H’s offensive attack with a big boot, The Undertaker gave him the Last Ride and pinned him. Triple H still got a shoulder up. The Undertaker signalled it was time for the Tombstone, so Bobby “The Brain” Heenan climbed onto the ring apron. Adam Cole slid into the ring and gave The Undertaker a few superkicks to knock him down to his knees. Sting came into the ring and punched and jabbed at him. Triple H tried to set The Undertaker up for the Pedigree, but Sting came up from behind and gave him a Scorpion Death Drop! The referee saw it. He also saw Cole give the Boom to The Undertaker mere moments later. As a consequence, he ended the match. Cole and Sting continued to fight and officials ran down to the ring to try to stop them as the show came to an end.
