Wednesday Warfare Episode 32 for 4/6/22
Ring Announcer: Mike McGuirk
Interviewer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Joey Marella and Aubrey Edwards
Caudle and McMahon preview the show and talk about March Madness. They also announce the next big show after In Hour House: Deadlier Than the Male on April 23. MAYhem will be May 1 at the American Bank Arena in Corpus Christi, Texas. PWX will close the show with a major announcement they want to make. Without question they are the top heel stable in CCW, and maybe all of UWA, with belts around everybody’s waist.
The York Foundation (Nicholas Nemeth, Martin Jannetty and Kamille York) defeated the Holly Cousins (Bob, Crash and Molly) at 12:27 via pinfall of Jannetty on Crash via a double goozle with Nemeth helping. York comes around and yanks Molly off the apron and fights with her on the floor, drawing Bob off, allowing the double team.
Post match, Nemeth hypes he and Jannetty facing Rich and a mystery partner at ETW Wrestlethon. If Rich wins he finally gets a title bout with Nicholas Aldis. “Damn, part of us wants to actually lose that match so the big boss can kick your ass all over Eastern Tennessee. But, at the same time, we want to shut you up and put you in your place. You think a mystery partner is going to give you an advantage. We can beat anybody any given night, because the York Foundation is always prepared for anybody at anytime.”
Chris Jericho then comes out and asks where Aldis is. He’s off traveling the world defending the 10 pounds of gold. Well, that's convenient. However, Jericho likes the idea of mowing over York Foundation fodder to get a title match. He challenges Marcus Alexander Bagwell to a match next week where Jericho gets another Universal Men’s Title shot if he wins. Nemeth will relay the message. Good, you do that errand boy.

Bill Goldberg squashes “Junkyard Sheik” Rok Wyler in 1:13 with the spear and jackhammer. SoCal Val talks to him after at ringside.
“It’s really convenient I wasn’t in studio for Superstar Saturday, which Braun Strowman knew, and now he’s not here tonight. He talked about how me beating him in that ring doesn’t matter. The ONLY thing that matters is wins and losses in that ring. And if you talk about winning in the ring, nobody beats my 173 straight victories from WCW. While I want to get my hands on PWX, I’m more than happy to teach Braun Strowman another lesson in losing. You say ‘knock me out, render me unconscious, choke me out so I can’t respond, that’s what really counts,’ I say it will be my pleasure to put your lights out for good. You were last, but you just didn’t learn, so. Braun Strowman, one again, you’re next.”

Madusa Micelli and Taya Valkyrie wrestle to a 15-minute time limit draw. It’s mentioned on commentary how Micelli turned on Valkyrie in the hardcore women’s battle royal at In Your House after they initially worked together. Taya breaks the bridge on a German suplex by Micelli, comes back with a sit out, spinning facebuster and nails the Road to Valhalla just as time expires. She extends her hand to Micelli after, but she glowers at it and walks away.
A pretaped promo from Mickie James-Aldis is shown. “I’m sorry I can’t be there tonight, but I have to be off traveling the world and representing the UWA with my husband, and you all know who that is. We proved that we are the premier power couple in the Universal Wrestling Association at March Madness by beating Chris Jericho and Ronda Rousey. I was gracious enough to let my husband, Nicholas Aldis, pin Rousey because I thought that would shut her up for good. But, no, she said I never pinned her so she still deserves a shot at my CCW Women’s Title. Then, Shane McMahon, who obviously doesn’t know who my husband is, books that match for In Your House: Deadlier Than the Male. Honey, you’ll find that to be true, because what Nick did to you will be nothing to what I’ll do to you.”

“The Man With the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin defeated Curt Hawkins at 5:21 by pinfall via Stonecutter setting up the Garvin Stomp. SoCal Val gets him at ringside post match.
“I defeated Terry Funk at In Your House and from one former NWA World’s Heavyweight Champion to another, you have nothing but my respect, Terry. But, here in CCW, I’ve got my eyes set on some different gold. It’s been a long time since I’ve had a belt around my waist and I think it’s high time it happened again, and I know these fans agree with me on that. Eli Drake, I’ve got you and that CCW World’s Television Tile in my sights. And when we clash, you better tell Mike and Maria to stay in the back or they’ll get some knuckle sandwiches to chew on. Man, woman or child; I don’t care who gets in my way. These fists and my feet for the Garvin Stomp takes care of business.”

The Patriot and Junkyard Dog defeated Psycho Circus of Crazzy Steve and Kizarny with “Voodoo Queen” Roxxi Laveaux at 7:20 by pinfall of JYD on Steve via Big Thump.
SoCal Val talks with Patriot and JYD after. They’re not done with Power Station. A win over them is nice, but that conniving snake Slick made sure the belts stayed with his guys at March Madness. Dog offers himself up as the tag partner for Tony Atlas and Ultra Black Scorpion on Superstar Saturday against the Jive Soul Bros and Patriot will be on the outside to make sure Slick doesn’t pull any of his jive.

“The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff with Ivan Koloff defeated Bobby Fulton by pinfall via Russian Sickle at 4:48.
SoCal Val has Terry Funk at ringside. He heard what Ronnie Garvin said about him earlier and he appreciates it. He has nothing but respect for the Man with the Hands of Stone too. Ivan, who is still out there, interrupts and tells Terry that Ivan and his nephew, Nikita, have no respect for Terry, because they can’t respect somebody who doesn’t respect themselves. Garvin beats Funk and he respects him for it?! The only thing the Russians respect are pain, violence and hatred. Nikita snarls at Terry as they walk away.

Hulk Hogan in a pretape addresses what Billy Graham said on the last Superstar Saturday. “Billy Graham you couldn’t get the job done at March Madness against the Hulkster and my 4.32 million Hulkamaniacs across the globe and the Milky Way Galaxy, brother. Like a low down, dirty, egg sucking dog you skulked to the outside, took the ring bell and brought it down on my head. It sounded like a billion church bells ringing all at one time, jack. Then I heard it again and again and again. Now you’re carrying around that ring bell stained with my blood and all the blood of the Hulkamaniacs like a trophy to be proud of, brother. This isn’t over between us, dude, you’ve got that ring bell, but I’ve got the training, the prayers and the vitamins. So, what you going to do, brother, when the largest arms in the world run wild on you?”
“Marvelous” Marc Mero defeated Chris Candido with Sunny by pinfall via Wild Thing at 14:54.

PWX comes to the ring of CCW Champion CM Punk, Gulf Coast Champion Kurt Angle and Gulf Coast Tag Team Champions of the Undisputed Era, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly. Punk gloats about how they all retained their titles at March Madness. Eddie Kingston, Marc Mero, Santana and Ortiz come out. Kingston said Punk thought they pulled a fast one with their switcheroo from KaufMania, but the four of them aren’t going anywhere. Punk said they figured that, so they’ve got a deal for them at MAYhem. A Survivor Series match…Punk, pauses and asks Shane if you can say that…well, he’s going to say it anyway. If the Kingston Trio plus One wins everyone not only gets title match again, but they get to call their own stipulations. Kingston said they know it’s just Punk trying to pull another slick move to disorient them and have PWX hold their titles for another month. However, they’re going to make PWX regret it, because nobody could be as smart as they think they are. Big staredown with PWX in the ring and Team Eddie on the floor to fade.
