CCW Superstar Saturday: Episode 49
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Ivory
Ring Announcer: Mike McGuirk
Interviewer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Joey Marella and Aubrey Edwards
Caudle previews the coming show and does some recapping of In Your House. Ivory talks about the next In Your House: Deadlier Than the Male, produced by Shane McMahon, that will be focused on the women’s division. By winning a hardcore battle royal at In Your House, Britt Baker will face Sasha Banks for the UWA Women’s Title. A pretape promo from Banks on the match has already been received.
We cut to Banks with the women’s title belt over her shoulder. “The last time I was in CCW, I had the rug pulled out from under me. My opponent was supposed to be Tessa Blanchard and then, surprise, it’s Ronda Rousey who purposely tried to injure me. Now, I have to go back to CCW to face a wrestling dentist. Hello, 1995 called and wants its gimmick back. I’m a legit boss and this backwater promotion better start treating me like one or I’ll seek an injunction on Continental Championship Wrestling on using me from the UWA board. I better get dentist Barbie Baker as promised by CCW and I’ll pin her in the middle of that ring just as I’m promising now.”
We go live to ringside with SoCal Val standing next to Britt Baker. “All I heard out of that promo from Sasha Banks was whining and crying. She wants me, she’ll get me at In Your House. You want to make fun of me for being a dentist, really? You want to laugh at me for being an actual doctor? What do you have a degree in? Dying your hair funny colors and doing that dumb dance you enter with? (Baker flares out her arms and dips her hips in making of fun of Banks’ entrance) Hear the people laughing? It’s because you look like an idiot. You’re a boss? Who do you employ? Me, I have my own medical practice with actual employees. I’m a real boss and you’re a moron.”

We get a recap of Braun Strowman vs. Bill Goldberg at March Madness
Braun Strowman defeated “Above Average” Mike Sanders by pinfall via reverse choke slam at 4:30. He then talks to SoCal Val at ringside.
“Bill Goldberg might have beat me in that ring at March Madness, but who got the last laugh? I’m here tonight and he’s nowhere to be seen. He’s still licking his wounds from where I choked him out. You pinned me? Big deal. You had my shoulders down for three measly seconds? It means nothing. What I did to you after the match, that’s something. That’s what everybody was talking about after. Not that you beat me, but that I choked you out. Anytime you want more Goldberg, you won’t have to ask too hard. You will get these hands…around your throat.”

We get a recap of Bob Backlund and Jock Samson vs. The Miracle Workers at In Your House.
Demolition (Ax and Smash) defeated Bob Backlund and “The Appalachian Outlaw” Jock Samson at 7:24 by pinfall of Smash on Backlund via Demolition Decapitation. Samson takes a thumb to the eye early on from Ax and sells it on the apron for the rest of the match, refusing to tag back in. After the match is over, Samson wanders off to the back still selling the eye. Demolition does a post match beatdown, which has been their deal lately.

A recap of Rocky Johnson vs. the Ultra Black Scorpion from In Your House is shown.
“Soulman” Rocky Johnson with Dr. of Style, Slick defeated The Gambler at 5:56 by pinfall via running shoulder breaker. Johnson comes out picking his afro. He then puts the pick in his hair for the match and it never budges. Slick at ringside is wearing a rastafarian wig from where he got his head shaved at In Your House.
After the match the Ultra Black Scorpion comes out with a pair of hair trimmers, because he still owes Johnson a haircut. Power Station of Odyssey Jones and Will Hobbs jump him from behind and beat him down. They try to take off his mask, but Tony Atlas comes out for the save. Shane McMahon then comes to get some order. Slick said he rejects the offer Shane made him an In Your House to reinstate Atlas to save Johnson’s hair. He said Rocky shouldn’t get his head shaved, because Atlas hasn’t lived up to the stipulation from KaufMania. He’s been working as the Ultra Black Scorpion…well, except at In Your House…and here again tonight. But all those other times were Tony Atlas and everybody knows it. McMahon confers with Ivory. Fine, all stipulations are off. Atlas is reinstated and Rocky keeps his hair. Next week it’s Power Station and Johnson vs. the Scorpion, Atlas and a tag partner of their choice.

“Voodoo Queen” Roxxie Laveaux defeated Carmella by pinfall in a hardcore match via a Voodoo Drop on a chair. Roxxie throws the chair at Carmella who catches it and Roxxie then spin kicks it, setting up the finish. It’s mentioned on commentary how Laveaux stole some of Nikki Cross’ essence in the hardcore battle royal. Cross runs to the ring and jumps Laveux post match, and they brawl off.
Sunny is in the back chewing out Sean Casey about the loss to the Varsity Blondes at In Your House. Casey mentions how Sunny immediately tried to get with the Blondes after they won the match. Oh, she was just trying to double cross them. Yeah, her always working a double cross, that’s what he’s afraid of.

The Varsity Blondes (Griff Garrsion and Brian Pillman Jr.) defeated the Dude Busters (Caylen Croft and Trent Baretta) at 10:03 via pinfall of Pillman on Croft via the powerbomb/slingshot clothesline combo.
Carmella is checking herself in her phone’s camera to make sure her nose isn’t broken. Chelsea Green comes up and makes fun of Carmella for losing. Well, Green hasn’t won once since she’s been in CCW. She’s not worthy of carrying Carmella’s bags. Carmella wishes she could carry Green’s bags. Carmella isn’t a servant. Others serve her, then she doesn’t tip. She does a hair flip, talk to the hand gesture and walks off.

“Superstar” Billy Graham comes out with the blood stained ring bell he nailed Hulk Hogan with at In Your House. He asks for the footage to be shown and gloats over it. “Hulk Hogan, I told you, daddy, you didn’t want to have anything to do with the Superstar. I said I would make your knees freeze, your bladder splatter and your liver quiver. I jacked you up right, jack, and I’ll do it again if you ever step in the ring with me. Everytime you look in the mirror and comb those last five hairs on the top of your head, I want you to see that bell shaped dent in your cranium and think of the Superstar, brother. Now give me somebody I can mess up just as bad, if not worse.”
Davey Boy Smith defeated “Superstar” Billy Graham by disqualification at 8:38. Graham is surprised to see Smith come out. Caudle reminds fans that Smith, Hart and Hogan all came into CCW together and worked as the Machines for a few months. Smith matches power pretty well with Graham, which spooks him, especially after Davey fights out of the bearhug. A flying shoulderblock sends Graham to the floor and he grabs the bloody ring bell and nails Smith with it to draw the DQ. Owen runs out to check on his partner and Graham takes off.

Owen Hart defeated “Pretty Boy” Sean Casey with Sunny by pinfall via frog splash at 13:37. It’s shown that during the break, Casey ran out and jumped Hart while he was checking on Hart to kickstart the next match. It’s a pretty even bout, until Sunny gets on the apron to distract Hart. Owen ducks the superkick and Sunny gets nailed. This allows Owen to get a release German suplex and he closes with the frog splash.
