The Hardy Boyz defeated The Bar by pinfall in 11:15 to advance to the finals of the tournament to determine who will challenge the UWA Universal Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania II. Matt Hardy countered a clothesline attempt at the ropes by dumping Sheamus over the top rope with a back body drop. Jeff Hardy climbed the turnbuckle and took Sheamus down with a moonsault. Matt Hardy managed to avoid a springboard European uppercut attempt from Cesaro and got him with a Side Effect. He tagged Jeff, who then executed a Swanton and made the cover to get the win for his team.
RAW Intercontinental Champion Eddie Guerrero spoke to Mean Gene Okerlund about his upcoming match at NO WAY OUT against PAC. The walking, talking troll doll can’t hold a candle to the flame of his Latino Heat. Guerrero has defended this championship with pride for over half a year now and he’s beaten far better men than the “Bastard” to win it and keep it. Expect nothing short of a victory for the Latino Heat. Viva la raza!
Keith Lee defeated Big Vito by pinfall at 4:27 after he executed a Spirit Bomb on him. Following Lee’s win, he was attacked by Little Guido, Chuck Palumbo, and Johnny “The Bull”. Ricky Steamboat ran out and took them all on. Lee got back to his feet to help in the fight. Lee plowed through The Bull with a pounce. Steamboat dropkicked Guido out of the ring. Lee gave Vito a Big Bang Catastrophe and Steamboat took Palumbo down with a tornado DDT. Steamboat and Lee, the two former partners and Tag Team Champions, hit each other’s backs and turned around ready to punch the other one out, but they stopped and nodded to each other out of respect before telling one another that they’re going to win their match at NO WAY OUT.
PAC spoke to Mean Gene about his upcoming title match versus Eddie Guerrero at NO WAY OUT. He warned Guerrero that if he is taken lightly, his title reign will end in the blink of an eye. The Bastard doesn’t care how long Guerrero’s been the champion. His reign could have lasted a week or it could have lasted a year. At the end of the day, it ends at NO WAY OUT, and there is no amount of lying, cheating, or stealing that can change that fact.
Harlem Heat defeated Street Profits by pinfall at 15:58 to advance to the finals of the tournament to determine who will challenge the UWA Universal Tag Team Champions at WrestleMania II. Booker T and Stevie Ray executed the Heat Seeker on Montez Ford. Booker covered him, but only got a 2-count as Angelo Dawkins dove in to break it up. Later, Ford and Dawkins executed their electric chair diving blockbuster combo on Booker T. Ford made the cover, but Stevie Ray broke up the fall. Stevie Ray and and Dawkins ended up brawling outside the ring. Ford went to the top rope to go for a frog splash, but Booker moved out of the way. When he got up, he executed the axe kick and did a Spin-a-roonie! After Stevie Ray executed a spinebuster on Dawkins on the floor, he went to the ring apron to make the tag. He gave Ford a backbreaker and held him for in place for Booker’s diving leg drop – Towering Inferno! Stevie Ray covered Ford for the win.
Toni Storm defeated Jordynne Grace by pinfall at 12:11 to earn a shot at the RAW Women’s Championship this Sunday at NO WAY OUT. After executing multiple short-range lariats, Grace executed a folding powerbomb and held the jackknife cover, but Storm kicked out. Grace went to the top rope and went for a diving senton, but Storm moved out of the way. Storm executed a deadlift bridging German suplex to get a 2-count. She followed it up with a thrust kick to the thigh, then a superkick under the chin, and Storm Zero to get the 3-count.
Shawn Michaels entered the ring and took a microphone to tell us that he was interrupting the program to air some grievances. He has a problem with Pete Dunne, who doesn’t realize that he isn’t worth the dirt on the bottom of his boots inside the ring. However, after last week’s tag team match, he now has a problem with the “Macho Man” Randy Savage. Before HBK could say anything more, Savage came out to the ring and ripped the mic from his hands. He called Michaels a piece of trash and said he would like nothing better than to slap the taste of his mouth. Michaels responded by slapping Savage across the face. Savage responded by jumping Michaels. Samoa Joe came out next. His music signaled his arrival. He had a mic in hand and said that he was ready to teach these two that getting on the wrong side of the Samoan Submission Machine was a one-way ticket to the morgue. Pete Dunne jumped Joe from behind. The two brawls took place around the arena and eventually converged. It took an arena full of security and WWE officials to separate all four men. Upon returning from commercial break, Tony Schiavone on commentary revealed breaking news that Michaels, Savage, Joe and Dunne would be competing in a Fatal Fourway match at NO WAY OUT.
“Ravishing” Rick Rude defeated Hollywood Nova by pinfall at 4:48 after executing the Rude Awakening. Rude spat on Nova after beating him, which drew the ire of “Big Stevie Cool” Stevie Richards. Rude agreed to wrestle him any time, any place, and said that after he knocked Little Stevie out in the ring, he would knock out Little Stevie’s wife in the bed of his hotel room later that night. That made Richards rush to the ring to attack Rude, who met him and brawled with Richards. Outside the ring, Rude reversed a whip and sent Richards into the steel ring steps before giving him a vertical suplex on the floor.
Bianca Belair spoke to Mean Gene after learning that Toni Storm will be her opponent at NO WAY OUT. Belair said that Storm was a strong competitor, however not as strong as her. She is the strongest, fastest, smartest, and greatest competitor in the game today. That’s why she is the EST of WWE, and as such, she’s going to walk into and out of NO WAY OUT as the RAW Women’s Champion.
AJ Styles and Finn Balor defeated Triple H and Adam Cole by pinfall at 14:34 when Styles pinned Cole for the 3-count. As usual when it comes to contests between members of the Bullet Club and Heenan Family, other members of both groups got involved. Dax Harwood, Cash Wheeler, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows, all ended up at ringside, and they brawled. Bobby “The Brain” Heenan fed a chair to Triple H, but that backfired when Balor sent it back into the RAW World Champion’s face with a shotgun dropkick. Balor followed that by taking Triple H out with a topé con hilo. Meanwhile, Cole lined up Styles for a Panama Sunrise, but Styles dropkicked him out of the air before giving him the Styles Clash to get the win, giving the Bullet Club much needed momentum going into WAR GAMES at NO WAY OUT!
