CCW Superstar Saturday Episode 41
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel
Ring Announcer: Mike McGuirk
Interviewer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Aubrey Edwards and Joey Marella
Caudle and Mantel rundown the show, including the main event where Hulk Hogan will face a mystery tag team in a handicapped match. This draws out Hogan who says it doesn’t matter how many guys Andy Kaufman sends after him. It could be two, three, four, the ’83 Raiders, the Soviet Army; it doesn’t matter because he’s going to wrap the 32-inch pythons around whoever it is and how many there are.
Caudle then asks about Kaufman’s insulting reply to Hogan’s request to move up the nightstick match with the Big Bossman so Hogan can be in the Terrific Tussle match. Hogan points to a clipboard he’s carrying with a petition featuring signatures from 3.34 million Hulkamaniacs stating he should be in the Terrific Tussle match. Mantle says there’s just a few pieces of paper for that many signatures. Hogan says the Hulkamaniacs are a lot of little kids, so they write small.
The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers) defeated the Legion of Doinks (Steve Lombardi and Steve Keirn) at 10:06 by pinfall via Rocket Launcher.

We come back to mid-tirade in the back of Matt Borne losing it on his fellow Doinks. All they do is lose all the time. What are they a bunch of clowns? Keirn and Lombardi look at each other, then at Borne and say ‘well, yeah’ in unison. Borne goes off mad.
Nikki Cross defeated Carmella by pinfall at 6:40. Before the match Carmella shows that Nikki Cross didn’t rank in the top five of her Instagram polls on who has the best butt, the best chest and all the rest in CCW. Cross slaps the phone out of Carmella’s hand, kicks her in the gut and hits a DDT. Cross works Carmella over until she eats foot on a blind charge. Carmella comes back and goes for the Princess Kick, but Cross grabs the foot and takes Carmella down into a single leg crab. Carmella makes the ropes, but Cross ties her up and hits a slingshot suplex and then finishes with a Crucifix Powerbomb.

Dr. of Style, Slick is with SoCal Val in the back. On Wednesday Warfare, Ivory said established tag teams only get one slot in the Terrific Tussle. He happens to know that The Patriot and Junkyard Dog are both in the match. So, they’re a tag team when it’s convenient and not a tag team when it’s not convenient…my, how convenient. But they can play all the games they want, because Slick can play games too.
He traded the Tussle slot for Power Station and the one for Rocky Johnson to the York Foundation for their tag team title match at the Terrific Tussle ppv against Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith. They’ve been ducking Power Station since they came to CCW, but not longer. Slick has them now and they can’t escape.
Val asks about Johnson giving up his slot too. Slick said Johnson was willing to do so for the good of the team and besides, he’s got his sights set on one goal only, taking out Tony Atlas once and for all.
“The Man with the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin defeated Matt Borne – Doink by pinfall at 8:35. Doink goes up top for the whoopee cushion, but Garvin gets up and takes him off the top on his shoulders. Borne turns it into a victory roll, but Garvin rolls it over and bridges for extra leverage on the pin. Post match, Borne freaks out, appears to be talking to himself and rips off the clown nose and wig as he walks to the back.

The Funk Brothers (Terry and Dory Jr.) defeated the Holly Cousins (Bob and Crash) by pinfall at 13:40 of Terry on Bob. The Funks work over Crash for most of the match, but he backdrops out of a piledriver attempt by Terry and makes the hot tag. Bob cleans house and hits the Alabama Slam on Terry, but the referee is distracted by Crash who is down in the corner, too spent to take the apron. That allows Dory to nail Bob with the branding iron and put his brother on top for the victory. Bob yells at Crash as they both stumble to the back.
Eddie Kingston is in the back with SoCal Val. He wears the CCW World Heavyweight Title around his waist. He has put his blood, sweat and tears into the title since he won it. When he came to CCW all he asked for was a chance to win the belt and he did it. Who did he win it from? Nick Aldis, now the UWA Universal Men’s Champion. If anyone knows the despicable piece of sh*t Aldis is, it’s Kingston. Aldis doesn’t deserve to job in a backyard fed let alone be the top champion of all champions. That’s why Eddie is entering the Terrific Tussle match in order to win and end the one million year galactic reign before it really gets going.

The music for the York Foundation plays, but instead of any known members, out comes Mickie James! For those who don’t know, she’s the real life wife of “Universal Treasure” Nicholas Aldis. He used his stroke to get her to CCW from WWE and all WWE got in return was that STD infested skank, Lita. With her husband very busy as Universal Champion, you can consider whatever she says on his behalf gospel.
She confirms the York Foundation trading their Tussle slots to Slick for the tag title match. James said this puts all three members of the York Foundation, other than Aldis, in the match and increases the chances of Nick getting a ‘friendly face’ as challenger for the Universal Title at Kaufmania.
Oh, and also at Kaufmania, she’s getting a Universal Women’s Title Shot. Because the King of the Universe will be joined by the Queen.
Jock Samson defeated Eli Drake with “Sensational” Sherri Martel by disqualification at 14:40. Drake keeps the CCW Television Title. With time running out, Jock ducks a clothesline and gets a single leg mule kick as Drake turns around. Discuss clothesline. Body slam. He lines up the three-point stance clothesline, but Sherri gets in the ring and jumps on Samson’s back, kneeing him in the back and clawing at his eyes. The referee calls for the disqualification. Jock finally whips Sherri off. She and Eli go to the floor and Drake congratulates his opponent on another signature Samson win.

Power Station (Will Hobbs and Odyssey Jones) and “Soulman” Rocky Johnson defeated “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, The Patriot and Junkyard Dog by pinfall at 14:27 of Johnson on Atlas. Johnson tags out anytime Atlas gets in, playing mind games with him. The heels isolate The Patriot and work him over. Johnson goes for a sunset flip, but Patriot blocks and drops a fist. Hot tag Atlas, who is a house of fire. Everyone is in the ring and it’s a pier six brawl. In the chaos, Hobbs is tossed Slick’s cane and he nails Atlas in the back with it. Power Station takes Patriot and JYD to the floor. Johnson gets a side slam backbreaker for the win.
Col. Robert Fuller is with SoCal Val. He reiterates that his past relationship with Sherri has nothing to do with the booking of Eli Drake as CCW Television Champion. However, any fool can see that Drake is using his champion’s advantage to keep hold of the title in his matches with Jock Samson. And Fuller is no fool. There will be one more match between Drake and Samson for the belt at Terrific Tussle…and the belt can change hands on a disqualification or count out.
Val then asks Fuller about Mickie James debuting and her getting a UWA Universal Woman’s Title shot at Kaufmania. Fuller kind of stutters and stammers about how that wasn’t part of the deal and we’ll have to see and man, he’s got to go.

“The Immortal” Hulk Hogan defeated Demolition (Ax and Smash) in a handicapped match by disqualification at 8:38. Hogan comes out first and is playing to the crowd when Demolition runs out and beats him down. Ax and Smash work Hogan over pretty good with a series of quick tags and power moves. They go for Demolition Decapitation, but Hogan fights out of the backbreaker position and Smash nails Ax. Hogan hulks up and gets a double noggin knocker. Axe Bomber to Ax, Axe Bomber to Smash. Then two other men run out and attack Hogan. They are identified on commentary as Crush and Mutilate (Brian Lee). All four men beat Hogan down and stand over him with their arms raised as we fade.
