CCW Wednesday Warfare Episode 22
Taped at the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, Alabama
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel
Ring Announcer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Aubrey Edwards and Joey Marella
The ending of Thanksgiving Throwdown is shown with Nick Aldis winning the new UWA Universal Men’s Title over Samoa Joe followed by his post-match promo. We then go live to Aldis in studio holding the Universal Title at the commentary station with Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel.
NA: Drink this in now while you can, because you’re not going to see as much of the Universal Treasure as you’re used to. I’m going to be traveling all over the world defending this title. Every single promotion in the Universal Wrestling Alliance is jockeying to have me come in, because having the Universal Treasure Nicholas Aldis in their territory will be its greatest night ever, but for me, it will just be another Sunday evening. The 1 million year galactic reign has just begun and will just keep getting better.
The crowd pops as Ronnie Garvin comes out. Caudle reminds the fans that Garvin and Aldis previously feuded. Garvin tells Aldis that winning that title belt hasn’t changed anything. He’s still full of hot air and isn’t nearly as good as he thinks he is, nobody could be. Aldis knows what Garvin is doing, he’s trying to jockey for a title shot. He’s done nothing to earn it. Aldis is feeling generous, so he’ll make Garvin a deal. Beat Marcus Alexander Bagwell of the York Foundation on Superstar Saturday and he’ll get the first Universal Men’s Title shot.
“The Man With the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin defeated Doink – Ray Apollo at 5:23 by pinfall via Stonecutter (inverted stunner)

“Sensational” Sherri Mantel is with Eli Drake holding the CCW Television Title belt at the commentary station. She demands Col. Rob Fuller come out there right now and apologize for disgracing Drake by not putting him on Thanksgiving Throwdown. Instead he defended the belt successfully against Billy Graham on Leftovers in Lafayette special house show. Drake is not a leftover.
Instead of Fuller, Jock Samson comes out. He challenged the winner of the main event at Leftovers in Lafayette to a Television Title shot and he wants it. He reminds Sherri that he’s undefeated in CCW. Yeah, mainly by count out and disqualification. Jock has got several decisive wins lately. Yeah, against the dregs of the roster. Drake tells Sherri to cool it. He’ll take the match at Superstar Saturday, because he wants to beat Samson 1-2-3 in that ring. Samson is nothing but a damn loser and his luck has run out, that’s just a fact of life.
The Patriot and Junkyard Dog defeated The Rock ‘n Roll RPMs (Mike Davis and Tommy Lane) by pinfall at 8:11 of JYD on Davis via Big Thump.
The winners go over to the commentary position and Caudle mentions how they’ve been allied since their mutual beef with Col. DeBeers, might this be a more permanent team. Patriot says Dog is a true American and he’s privileged to be wrestling by his side. JYD said together or apart they’re the cream of CCW and they wouldn’t mind getting those tag team title belts around their waists.

Big Bossman with Andy Kaufman defeated Bobby Fulton at 5:37 by pinfall via Bossman Slam. Post match he gives Fulton a couple nightstick shots and Kaufman calls him off before he gets disqualified post-match.
The ending of the Three Faces of Evil match from Thanksgiving Throwdown is shown and then we go to the commentary station. Kaufman said Hogan was going to face hard times at Thanksgiving Throwdown and he did. Bossman said in the past he’s been Hogan’s friend and his foe and both got him the same thing, jack sh*t. Hogan treats both the same and now he’s going to take this nightstick and shove up his *ss.
With that, Hogan runs out with a chair and slams it on the table, just missing hitting Bossman and Kaufman. They retreat to the ring. Bossman waves Hogan to come in. Hogan stands on the floor with the chair. Security and backstage personnel enter to keep the two apart. Kaufman laughs maniacally as we fade to break.

Power Station (Will Hobbs and Odyssey Jones) with Dr. of Style Slick defeated Koko B. Ware and Brad Armstrong at 8:29 by pinfall of Jones on Ware via Power Outage (Hobbs spinebuster followed by a Jones splash)
Slick goes to the commentary station and claims the tag team champions of Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith are continually ducking his guys. Now, Patriot and JYD, who aren’t even a proper team, are trying to jump the line. Now, what’s up with that?
We then get the end of the Rocky Johnson vs. Tony Atlas match from Thanksgiving Throwdown with the referee stoppage as Johnson cranks on the Boston Crab. Caudle asks Slick his opinion on the outcome. Slick said Atlas is as stupid as he is ugly and he proved it at the ppv. Tommy Young, one of the best referees ever in our sport, did Atlas a kindness. Turn out the lights, the party was over for Tony for his entire career and Young was an angel of mercy who saved him. He hopes Young is on Tony’s Christmas Card list this season, because he deserves some thanks.

Tom Magee and Chris Jericho are in the back talking. Hey, where’s Sunny and her stable? Oh, she’s probably still washing cars in Shreveport. Anyway, Magee is proud of Jericho. That was one of the first real matches he’s had in CCW since coming here at Thanksgiving Throwdown against Chris Candido. He’s showing the lionheart he used to have. Jericho feels so good, he thinks he can win the Terrific Tussle. Without a doubt, depending on how he comes in. What does that mean? Well, Jericho probably couldn’t win from the one slot. Oh, he couldn’t. That sounds like a challenge. No, it’s not a challenge. Jericho walks off.
Molly Holly defeated Victoria Vachon at 5:20 by pinfall via Molly Go Round. Molly then gives a teaser of her Women of CCW calendar cover. It’s her in a tasteful one piece, black swimsuit.

Jericho is in the ring with a microphone and demands Col. Rob Fuller or Ivory come out. Ivory, Vice President of Talent Relations, appears. Jericho volunteers as tribute for the Terrific Tussle. What is he talking about? He wants to enter at number one to prove he can go the distance. Tom Magee comes out and says he volunteers as tribute. Ivory tells them to stop saying that. Jericho says he can do it, he doesn’t need Magee to protect him. If Magee is really his friend and has faith in him, then let him at least try. Magee sees how much this means for Jericho and he’ll help him prepare as much as he can. Ivory rolls her eyes and says fine, Jericho can enter at one, she’s sure nobody will protest that.
In a non-title match, Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith defeat the Funk Brothers (Terry and Dory Jr.) by disqualification at 12:30 when the branding iron gets involved. Eddie Kingston runs out for the save, as the tag champs saved him at Thanksgiving Throwdown. Big E Langston, who still has issues with Kingston, run out to even the odds and we all fight to the fade.
