CCW Superstar Saturday Episode 39
Taped at the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, AlabamaCommentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel
Ring Announcer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Aubrey Edwards and Joey Marella
Carmella is at the entrance welcoming fans by giving out nude photos of herself. Molly Holly comes up because she heard about it and is shocked. Carmella tells her they are tasteful, you can’t really see anything. It’s mostly her backside and some side boob. Hey, kid, can you see my nipples in this picture. A 12-year-old boy in line says no. And that kid is really looking. Molly calls Carmella crass trash and they cat fight. The 12-year-old is loving it. Col. Robert Fuller, Vice President of Operations, appears and breaks them up. Fuller books an evening gown match for Thanksgiving Throwdown, winner gets the Ladies of CCW calendar cover. An evening gown match is a little classy and a little trashy, so something for both of them. The 12-year-old gives a thumbs up of approval.
The ending of Wednesday Warfare with the overrun after they went off the air of the thrown together tag match of Eddie Kingston and Ronnie Garvin against Big E Langston and Terry Funk is shown. The match is eventually thrown out and everyone fights off.
We cut to Ivory at the commentary position. In an effort to keep these opponents separate, but allow them to get some frustrations out on their rival, Ivory has allowed each man to book his rival’s opponent tonight. Garvin picks for Langston, Langston for Garvin, Kingston for Funk and Funk for Kingston.

“The Man with the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin defeated “Soulman” Rocky Johnson with Dr. of Style, Slick by pinfall at 8:49. Mantel wonders if this signal Langston throwing in with Slick’s stable or just game recognizing game, as Johnson is another big black dude who recently jettisoned a partner (or partners in Langston’s case) who they felt was holding them down. It starts as a boxing match with the Johnson Shuffle against Garvin’s straight up jabs. They get to wrestling as Johnson lands a dropkick off the ropes and goes to an abdominal stretch. Garvin hip tosses out. Body slam. Johnson ducks the Superman punch and backdrops Garvin clear over the ropes. Rocky distracts the referee and Slick nails Ronnie with his cane. Tony Atlas comes out and chases Slick to the back. Johnson off the ring apron with a double axe handle, but Garvin meets him with a punch to the gut that flips him over. Superman Punch hits back in the ring and Garvin finishes with the Stone Cutter (inverted stunner).
Nikki Cross, Lita and Britt Baker are all making their case to Ivory that they deserve a women’s title match against Tessa Blanchard. Blanchard comes up and said she’ll take them all on, she’s hardcore. Since Blanchard and her pliers have taken the women’s division down a gory path, let’s lean into that. Ivory books a four-person elimination first blood match for Thanksgiving Throwdown. Last woman not bleeding is the champ.

Big E Langston defeats the Junkyard Dog at 9:02 via pinfall. Caudle mentions how Langston beating JYD in a dog collar match was the start of his new attitude. Dog is aggressive to start, surprising Langston, who bails to the floor. Dog chases him, but Big E sidesteps and pitches JYD into the ring steps. Knee drop off the apron. Langston controls most of the rest of the way and finishes with the Big Ending.
Taped segment of Chris Jericho and Tom Magee working out in the gym. Magee is happy with Jericho’s progress. He’s showing that lion’s heart he was famous for for so many years. Jericho said he didn’t realize how bad he felt before until he realized how good he feels now. He appreciates Magee sticking with him and he’s going to take out Chris Candido at Thanksgiving Thrown and get a night with Sunny. What are his plans for that? Don’t worry, Chris has some ideas. Sunny then comes in and said she’s been thinking. That’s a first. If she’s going to put a night with herself on the line, Jericho should put something on the line. If he loses, he ends his training with Magee. She knows Jericho isn’t strong enough to keep lifting barbell plates and will go back to T-bone steaks without Magee. Jericho agrees.

Terry Funk defeated “Superstar” Billy Graham at 11:39 via pinfall. Brawling to start. Graham with the 10-count punch in the corner. Funk does his own version of the Flair Flop coming out. Graham misses an elbow drop and Funk slows it down with a sleeper hold. Billy breaks with a jaw breaker. Bear hug. Funk breaks with a bell ringer. Terry grabs the branding iron, but Aubrey Edwards takes it away from him. While she’s tossing it to the floor, Funk gets a dick kick to setup a double underhook DDT. Funkersault for the win.
Pre-taped interview with Samoa Joe on his upcoming match with Nicholas Aldis for the MUW Men’s Title. Aldis is getting a tune up match tonight against Owen Hart, that’s cute. Joe’s Thanksgiving week is him stuffing turkeys all across the Mash Up Wrestling universe. The main course will be Aldis on Nov. 28. His Sharpshooter is no match for the Coquina Clutch and his Treasure Chest is no comparison to the Muscle Buster.

Eddie Kingston defeated Dory Funk Jr. by pinfall at 7:50 via pinfall in a non-title match. Dory has been cleared to wrestle with a cast on his hand. Dory broke his hand almost two months ago. Dory uses the cast as a weapon and controls a lot of the way. A double underhook suplex gets two. Dory goes for a second turnbuckle fist drop, but Kingston moves and Dory jams his hand into the mat. Kingston with a snap DDT. Backfist to the Future.
Pre-taped interview from Hulk Hogan declaring how no 8-foot Underfaker or 1,200-pound Yokozuna can take him out with the power of saying his prayers, taking his vitamins, drinking Jolt Cola and wearing Hai Karate behind him and all the millions of Hulkamaniacs. When Hogan gets done with Andy Kaufman he’s going to go from his trademark neck brace to a full body cast.

“National Treasure” Nicholas Aldis with Kamille York defeated Owen Hart at 14:48. Lockup to start leads to some chain wrestling and then a crisscross sequence. Hart hits a spinning heel kick and covers for two. He goes to a leg grapevine on the mat. Aldis turns it over and makes the ropes to break. Hart charges, but Nick pulls the top rope down and Hart goes to the floor. Aldis distracts the referee and Kamille lays the boots into Owen. Aldis brings Hart in from the apron with a suplex. Swinging neckbreaker. Aldis goes up top for the Macho Man Elbow, but takes too long gloating. Owen meets him up top for a pop up belly to belly superplex. Both men down, Hart finally crawls over for a close two count. Hart with a double underhook powerbomb, but Aldis gets his foot on the ropes. Hart sets up for a superkick, but Aldis catches the leg and takes him down and into the Sharpshooter. Commentators mention how that’s the Hart family pet submission move. Hart makes the ropes to break. Aldis takes is up with Tommy Young. This allows Kamille to choke Hart out on the bottom rope. Aldis with a kneebreaker and into a knee bar. Hart fights out. Desperation enzuigiri off the bad leg and Hart can’t capitalize. Aldis was playing opossum and gets a small package with a handful of tights for the win. Nick slides to the floor and jaws at Owen in the ring as we fade.
