CCW Wednesday Warfare Episode 20
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch Mantel
Ring Announcer: SoCal Val
Referees: Tommy Young, Aubrey Edwards and Joey Marella
Cameras open with Hulk Hogan rampaging through the back demanding to see Andy Kaufman. This gets a split screen with the end of the Hogan vs. Aldis match from Halloween Hoedown where Hogan is distracted by Kaufman and then attacked by the Underfaker. Back to full screen, Hogan comes upon a box with a tag that reads “For Hogan…From Your Pal, Andy.” Hogan looks to shatter it with a big boot, but hands bust through the box, grab the foot and flips Hogan over. The returning Yokozuna pops out of the box and attacks Hogan. Kaufman appears over the downed Hogan with the Underfaker and tells him his dreams of conquering Continental Championship Wrestling have turned to nightmares.
“The Appalachian Outlaw” Jock Samson defeats “Captain Redneck” Dick Murdoch by pinfall at 8:35 via three-point stance clothesline.
After the match, Samson goes to the commentary station and says he’s still undefeated in CCW and that includes several matches with the new Television Champion Eli Drake. He understands Billy Graham getting a contractual rematch, but Samson is learning to be patient and will be waiting.

Dr. of Style, Slick does a pre-match promo for his new man, “Soulman” Rocky Johnson. Now, Slick admits he first made an offer of management to Tony Atlas, but Johnson proved himself the smarter man by taking it. And with Slick behind him, the sky’s the limit, soon as they put Atlas away for good.
“Soulman” Rocky Johnson with Dr. of Style, Slick defeats Koko B. Ware by submission at 5:41 via Boston Crab.
Honky Tonk Man has Terry Funk on Honky’s Chateau. Funk was just minding his own business, hanging out in a private room, not bothering anybody at Halloween Hoedown, when Eddie Kingston and Big E Langston brawled in. Then when Funk tried to stand up for himself, Kingston hit him with a Back Fist to the Future. He doesn’t care if Kingston respects his elders, but he better respect his betters. People seem to forget that Terry Funk was a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. He held that title for 14-months. Eddie Kingston has only been CCW champion for a cup of coffee. He’s got a lot to learn yet and Funk will teach it to him.

“The Man With the Hands of Stone” Ronnie Garvin defeats Trevor Murdoch at 6:46 by pinfall via Stone Cutter (inverted stunner).
In a post-match promo at the commentary station, Garvin mentions how he lost to Terry Funk in the main event of a special house show on All Hallow’s Eve in Tupelo, Mississippi. He doesn’t like Terry Funk, but he respects him and he can jive with some of what Funk was saying earlier. Garvin is interrupted by Big E Langston, who just stands there with his arms crossed. Garvin says if he has something to say, say it. Langston points at the ring.
Big E Langston defeats Tommy Lane by pinfall via Big Ending at 1:22. Langston points at Garvin watching from the commentary position. Mantel remarks that’s Langston’s statement to Garvin.

Ivory, Associate Vice President of Talent Relations, announces a special episode of Superstar Saturday upcoming that will be all mixed match challenges. Ivory said CCW will have occasional themed episodes to drum up mainstream interest and showcase talent in new and exciting ways.
Col. Robert Fuller is in the back talking to an assistant about arranging travel for his trip to the MUW governing board meeting upcoming. He says major changes are coming. Carmella then comes up and says she’s hearing that a CCW Women’s Calendar will have pictures shot soon so it can be released by Christmas. She wants to be on the cover. After all, she’s got the best butt, the best chest and all the rest of any woman in CCW. Well, they were thinking about maybe going less sexy and more wholesome, like Molly Holly. Molly Holly? Her face shouldn’t be on a can of dog food.

Marcus Alexander Bagwell with Kamille York defeats “Maniac” Mike Davis by pinfall via Buff Blockbuster at 4:57.
Nicholas Nemeth joins them at the commentary station afterward. Nemeth said by losing the tag title match against Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith at Halloween Hoedown, he and Martin Jannetty can’t have a tag title match for a year. But that doesn’t mean other combinations of the York Foundation can’t have title shots. So, Nemeth and Bagwell are coming for those belts at their earliest convenience.

“Mr. USA” Tony Atlas in a pre-taped promo can’t believe that Rocky Johnson would turn on him. Sure, things had been rocky, no pun intended, between them lately, but he was never going to take Slick up on his offer. Yeah, he probably shouldn’t have called Rocky’s wife a ho, but he was confused and hurting. He made this bed and now he has to lie in it, he knows that. But, he’s going to come out the other side of it a better, stronger and happier man.
A pre-taped promo with “Superstar” Billy Graham has him admitting to Eli Drake beating him in the ring. Sure, he cheated a little, but he did so with out Scary Sherri by his side. Graham has to respect Drake, but he doesn’t have to like him or like that he took his title belt. Billy Graham is the man of the hour, the man with the power, the women’s pet and the men’s regret and he’ll take that title belt back, jack, as soon as he can.

Eddie Kingston is at the commentary station to respond to Terry Funk from earlier. Funk calls himself a man to be respected. Well, Kingston guesses a drunk bum and a legend look a lot alike. He grew up watching Terry Funk sell out the world. He looked up to Terry Funk. He wanted to be Terry Funk. Now, Terry Funk wants to be him and be the CCW World Heavyweight Champion. Sometimes life’s a bitch, and she’s back in heat for Terry Funk.
Eli Drake with “Sensational” Sherri Martel retains the CCW Television Title against “Candyman” Brad Armstong at 10:25 via Gravy Train.
Sherri cuts a post-match promo that everyone is chasing Eli Drake because what he has, the CCW Television Title. Jock Samson, Billy Graham and all the rest, you want what you can’t have. That goes for the title belt and that goes for Sherri herself. Drake is going to keep Sherri and the belt for one reason: he’s all man.

Britt Baker, Lita and Nikki Cross defeat Tessa Blanchard, Taya Valkyrie and Serena Funk with “Sensational” Sherri Martel at 16:17 by pinfall of Cross on Funk with a crucifix powerbomb. The other four women are brawling on the floor when Funk misses a spear in the ring on Cross and posts herself, leading to the finish.
“National Treasure” Nicholas Aldis is out at the commentary position and crows about how he did what everybody said was impossible, but knew deep down would happen. He beat the Immortal Hulk Hogan for the 1-2-3 in that very ring. Now he’s going on to face the Samoan Submission Machine, Samoa Joe, at Thanksgiving Throwdown. Aldis is looking and Joe has a really full dance card that week. He’s going to come into their match tired and beat up, but he doesn’t want that to be an excuse when Aldis beats him and starts his 1 million year reign as the new MUW Men’s Champion.
