CASINO BATTLE ROYALE : The clubs were the first group to enter the match. Those were Elias, Orange Cassidy, Keith Lee, Kevin Owens and John Brandshaw Layfield. During the first segment of the match, Orange Cassidy stood up to Keith Lee and lazily kicked his shins. As Lee stood there dumfounded, JBL knocked “Freshly Squeeze” out with a Clothesline From Wall Street from behind. The only reason he wasn’t tossed from the ring was because Lee went at it with JBL. Elias seized the opportunity and tossed Cassidy out of the ring. Not long thereafter, Kevin Owens gave Elias a stunner and tossed him out of the ring.
At the three-minute mark, the diamonds were the second group to enter the match. Those were Johnny Brian Cage, Johnny Gargano, “Glorious” Bobby Roode, “Cowboy” James Storm” and “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase. There was something fishy about the rest of the Billion Dollar Corporation coming out at the same time. With all four members in the ring, their opponents were in bad shape. Owens and Cage, who had beef with each other, immediately squared off, while the BDC doubled up on Lee and Gargano. Roode and Storm executed Drinking While Investing on Gargano and pitched him out of the ring. Then, it took all four members of the BDC to get Lee over the top rope and eliminate him. This was after JBL gave him a Clothesline From Wall Street that made him loose balance, but failed to knock him off his feet. Meanwhile, Owens ducked a clothesline attempt, gave Cage a stunner and threw him out of the ring. Owens started fighting with Roode, but Cage slid back into the ring and gave Owens a Cage Breaker powerbomb and left him for the BDC to throw him out. They picked him up and tossed him to the floor. The BDC had the ring to themselves, but only for about ten seconds.
At the six-minute mark, the hearts were drawn, making them the third group to enter the ring. Entering the ring at that time were “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Trent, “The Bastard” PAC, and the debuting duo of Sheamus and Cesaro. It was five-on-four, but the alliance versus the BDC broke down pretty quickly when Sheamus gave Trent a Brogue Kick then threw him over the top rope. Sheamus had a quick exit as when he turned around, Savage gave him a dropkick that sent him over the top rope. Although PAC was the smallest man in the ring, he showed no fear, and spat in DiBiase’s face. He was lightning quick and gave them fits, but taking on four superstars at once is tough and it caught up to him when JBL gave him a Clothesline From Wall Street and pitched him over the top rope.
At the nine-minute mark, the spades were the final suit to enter the ring. Those were Rowdy Roddy Piper, “The Best Man” Miro, The Miz, Chuck Taylor, and Tommaso Ciampa. Piper took members of the BDC head on. He fight with each of them. JBL lined him up for a Clothesline From Wall Street, but Piper dropped his head and gave him a back body drop over the top rope to eliminate the first member of the faction. Miro gave Chuck Taylor a Miro Kick and then dumped him out of the ring.
At the twelve-minute mark, it was the joker’s turn to enter the match. The sound of shattering glass shook Levi’s Stadium. If it have had a roof, it would have blown off and landed on the other side of the San Francisco Bay because it was time for STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD! Steve Austin entered the ring and gave stunners to people left, right, and center. Goodbye Bobby Roode! See you later James Storm! Ciao Ciampa! Sayonara Cesaro! The Miz made eye contact with Austin and begged and pleaded to be left alone. Austin smiled, shrugged, and turned his back on him. The Miz ran out of the corner. Austin turned around and took him down with a Lou Thesz Press. Up to their feet, double finger salute, kick, bam, STUNNER! Au revoir The Miz!
We were down to the final five: Stone Cold, Hot Rod, The Best Man, The Macho Man, and The Million Dollar Man. Miro and Savage got into a fist fight. Meanwhile, Austin, Piper and DiBiase traded looks. Austin and Piper appeared to come to agreement to focus on DiBiase. The Million Dollar Man, who was recently in a long feud with Piper, pleaded for mercy and attempted to buy Austin’s allegiance. He pulled a wad of cash out from the side of his trunks. Austin nodded. DiBiase reached out to give him the money and Austin kicked him and gave him a stunner. The Benjamins went flying all over the ring! Austin reached down to pick him up and was bumped by Piper, who fell into him when Miro whipped Savage and he collided with Piper’s backside. Austin got angry and started to throw down with Piper.
Miro gave Savage a Miro Kick. He picked up Savage and took him to the ropes to dump him over. Savage held the top rope and locked Miro in a head scissors, causing him to go top and to the floor. Miro got up and pounded on the ring apron, then slid back into the ring. He grabbed Savage from behind and tossed him out of the ring. Miro went out and he brawled with Savage. The referees were occupied with trying to break this up or with trying to get Jim Cornette out of their faces when DiBiase charged at Austin and got a back body drop over the ropes. Austin and Piper continued to fight. Piper thumbed Austin in the eye and went for an Irish whip. Austin reversed it and followed Piper to ropes, where he gave him a running clothesline that sent him over the top rope. Two seconds later, DiBiase dumped Austin over the top rope and was declared the winner. Austin was pissed and tried to get back in the ring. The referees blocked him and then Stone Cold assaulted each one that got in his way. DiBiase saw him climbing in the ring, so he hightailed it out of there. DiBiase stole the victory and the WWE Universal Championship match at Clash of the Champions. (17:34)--
