CCW Superstar Saturday on SCA, episode 32
Taped at the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, Alabama
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch MantelRing Announcer: SoCal Val
The commentators preview today’s show, including the first match to qualify for a fatal fourway bout at Destination Dallas for a women’s title shot and that bout will feature a debuting grappler. Andy Kaufman then comes out in a Mr. T wig, fake goatee and gold chains. He pities Rocky Balboa if he steps in the ring with Thunderlips. Caudle tells Kaufman he’s being ridiculous. You’re being ridiculous, fool. And today, we’ll get the in ring debut of Thunderlips.

Stars and Stripes (The Superior Patriot and Buff Bagwell) vs. Del Wilkes and Jock Samson
Referee: Joey Marella
Referee: Joey Marella
The opening of Wednesday Warfare is shown where Samson beat the Superior Patriot by count out after Del Wilkes jumped Bagwell on the outside. Samson then made the save with his bull rope and cowbell. The heels isolate and work over Wilkes. Bagwell hits the Blockbuster for a two count, then tags the Superior Patriot. Bagwell performs a backbreaker, holds Wilkes over his knee, and Superior Patriot hits a leg drop off the top rope. That gets a two count. Superior Patriot acts like Samson is trying to run in, distracting Marella. Bagwell on the apron grabs Wilkes and Superior Patriot charges with a clothesline. Del gets loose and Bagwell is knocked off the apron. Hot tag to Samson. Jock with a running clothesline and a knee drop. The crowd is cheering and Samson is surprised, because he’s never really heard that before. Running shoulder breaker for a cover and Bagwell breaks it up. Wilkes runs in and takes Bagwell to the floor. Samson goes into the three point stance for a running clothesline. Superior Patriot dodges. Jock slams face first into the corner, pops out and eats a full nelson slam. Foot on the ropes for the victory.
Winners: Stars and Stripes by pinfall of Patriot on Samson at 10:12
After the match, Wilkes gets Jock’s bull rope and cowbell and scares the heels off.

Eli Drake vs. Koko B. Ware
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Drake catches Ware on a crossbody and delivers a fallaway slam. He sets up the Gravy Train, but Ware slips out and dropkicks Drake in the back. He falls through the ropes to the floor. Edwards admonishes Ware for knocking Drake out of the ring and he doesn’t know why she’s getting so riled up about it. This allows Drake to climb the post from the outside and he comes off the top turnbuckle with a double axe handle to the back. Inverted suplex. Gravy Train. Commentators mention how Edwards always seems to ref Drake matches and there’s always odd stuff with her that goes down.
Winner: Eli Drake by pinfall at 5:29
Owen Hart and Davey Boy Smith come out to declare the stipulation for their tag team title rematch with the York Foundation. The finish of the match from last week is shown where Hart, Smith and Eddie Kingston beat the York Foundation to gain rematches with stipulations they pick. Hart said they want it old school and prove that they can out wrestle Jannetty and Nemeth, no matter what dirty underhanded tricks they may play. They can still take one fall off them, maybe, but that’s it. Smith takes over on the mic and says back in the day when he started out a lot of title matches would be best two out of three falls and that’s what they want at Destination Dallas.

CCW Television Title Match
“Superstar” Billy Graham (c) vs. Matt Borne - Doink
Referee: Joey Marella
Graham clotheslines Doink to the floor and he rolls underneath the apron. Doink comes out the other side and attacks Graham from behind back in the ring. The commentators are pretty sure that’s Ray Apollo. Apollo works on Graham and gets a sommersault back elbow in the corner. Body slam and he goes up top for the whoopie cushion. Graham stands and catches Doink with the bearhug. Borne appears from under the ring, gets back inside the ring, and charges Graham. Billy swings Apollo to the side, executes an overhead fallaway slam and then nails Borne with a clothesline. He body slams Borne onto Apollo. Drops a leg and pins both.
Winner: Graham by pinfall at 7:40
Graham goes over to the commentators table. He heard Kamille speak for the first time on Wednesday Warfare. She said she wanted the Superstar and she’s not the only woman to say that. But he knows what she means. She wants the Superstar in the ring for the TV Title. Graham will take on all comers. Man, woman, young, old; it doesn’t matter; the bearhug is one size fits all.

Ewing Family King of Trios Tournament Semifinal
Holly Cousins (Bob, Crash and Molly) vs. The Varsity Blondes (Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr.) and Sunny
Referee: Tommy Young
The guys brawl to start while the women stand on the apron. Bob and Crash do a double hiptoss of Pillman to the floor. They then get a double team gutbuster to Pillman. Bob takes Brian’s limp hand and makes him slap Sunny for a tag in. Crash and Bob slingshot Sunny in and she lands on her rear end. She sells it big time. Tag to Molly and things settle down. Sitout facebuster and she goes up top for the Molly Go Round. Garrison shoves Molly off the top. Bob runs down the apron and spears Garrison off the apron to the floor. Sunny kicks Molly a few times and tags Brian Jr. Pillman picks Molly up and talks trash to Crash as he sets up a butterfly suplex, but Molly backdrops out and tags Crash.
Crash comes in with a flying clothesline off the top. Double arm DDT for a cover. Garrison makes the save, but Bob is right there and they fight back to the floor. Spring board bulldog, but Pillman blocks and turns it into an atomic throw. Single leg dropkick. Moonsault by Pillman and he covers, but Sunny wants the tag for the pin. He tags her and slams her down onto Crash, but he gets his knees up. Crash kips up and goes into an enzuigiri. Tag to Molly. Molly Go Round to Sunny.
Winners: Holly Cousins by pinfall of Molly on Sunny at 15:30
Nick Aldis is the guest on Honky’s Chateau. On behalf of his stablemates, Janetty and Nemeth, he is happy to have a best two out of three falls match being chosen by Hart and Smith for the tag team titles match. That’s a stipulation with weight and history. He has no faith in Eddie Kingston picking something so prestigious. Kingston is a lowest common denominator schlub and he’ll pick something all of the miserable, dumb fans will applaud when he finally announces it. As Aldis prattles on, Kingston appears from behind carrying a ladder. He smacks Aldis with the ladder and he goes down. Kingston then slams the ladder down on top of him. He grabs the mic from HTM and yells, ‘ladder match…bitch.’ Kingston spikes the microphone down and walks off.

Thunderlips, the Ultimate Male with Andy Kaufman vs. “Candyman” Brad Armstrong
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Armstrong jumps Thunderlips at the bell while his back is turned. He tries to lock on a sleeper, but Thunderlips backs him into the near corner to break. He then whips Armstrong to the far corner and nails him with an Axe Bomber on the bounce out. Whip to the third corner and an Axe Bomber. Whip to the fourth corner and an Axe Bomber. Whip to the ropes for a bit boot and then a leg drop. Thunderlips covers, but breaks it at two and shakes his head ‘no.’ He puts Armstrong in a torture rack.
Winner: Thunderlips at 3:14 by submission
Bob Caudle hosts a split screen debate between George Hackenschmidt and the Sandman. Hackenschmidt said he will make short work of the smoking, drinking, pudgy, worthless excuse for a man. He doesn’t have what it takes to lace his boots. Sandman then belches really loudly and calls Hackenschmidt a piece of sh*t douche nozzle that couldn’t get laid in a whorehouse with $100 bills sticking out of his pocket. Hackenschmidt asks what any of that has to do with winning in the ring. Ah, so he doesn’t deny it. Hackenschmidt says Sandman can run his mouth now, because he’ll shut it in the ring.

Eddie Kingston vs. Martin Jannetty with Kamille York
Referee: Tommy Young
Lock up to start leads to a long crisscross sequence. Kingston punts Jannetty on a backdrop attempt. Diving lariat. He hooks up a cradle suplex, but Jannetty blocks and reverses to his own. Fist drop off the second rope. He sets up the Rocker Dropper, but Eddie flips him out and gets another diving lariat. Into the ropes, but Marty pulls down the top strand and Kingston flies to the floor. Jannetty distracts the referee and Kamille lays the boots to Kingston. Billy Graham comes out and backs Kamille off. Jannetty nails a double axe handle to Graham’s back. York then brawls with him and they go to the back.
Marty and Eddie exchanges chops on the outside. Kingston gets the best of it, boots Jannetty in the stomach and gives him a gutwrench slam to the ring steps. He breaks the count out and then goes for a double stomp off the apron, but Marty rolls to the floor. He comes up to take a bicycle kick off the stairs. Eddie rolls Jannetty back in and hits a slingshot senton back in for two. Spinning DDT for two. He lines up a uranage, but Jannetty elbows out. Into the ropes for a Thesz Press and mounted punches. Jannetty to the top rope for a missile dropkick, but Eddie sidesteps and pulls him up into a head and arm Tazzplex. He signals the Backfist to the Future, but Aldis runs out and smashes him with a ladder. He throws the ladder down on top of him. Aldis yells, “a ladder match is fine by me…bitch.”
Winner: Kingston by disqualification at 17:37
