CCW Wednesday Warfare, Episode 14
Taped at the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, Alabama
Commentators: Bob Caudle and Dutch MantelRing Announcer: SoCal Val
We open with The Patriot and Buff Bagwell in the ring. He declares himself the Superior Patriot and he proved it at Phoenix Re-Rising by not only beating the snot out of Del Wilkes, but out smarting him by using Buff Bagwell as a decoy. Wilkes was in a tag team, Stars and Stripes, with Wilkes, but he decided to throw in with him, The Superior Patriot. Bagwell says he’s buff and he knows the Superior Patriot is the stuff. The Superior Patriot is now the one and only Patriot and if Wilkes is smart, although we all know he’s not, he won’t show his face again. He’s also going to prove how superior he is by soundly defeating Jock Samson, the Patriot’s first opponent in CCW, but the match never happened because he and Wilkes fought off.

The Superior Patriot with Buff Bagwell vs. Jock Samson
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Patriot works aggressively heel against Samson. He uses his body to hide a throat thrust. He rakes Jock’s eyes on the top rope. He argues with Edwards while Bagwell chokes Samson out on the apron. The crowd suddenly stirs as Del Wilkes comes through the crowed and jumps the ring wall. He looks totally disheveled like he hasn’t shaved, showered or slept in days. He attacks Bagwell from behind. The Superior Patriot comes to the floor to help out and the heels get the upper hand, but Samson also wins his fourth straight match by count out.
Winner: Jock Samson by count out at 5:13
Samson celebrates and then retrieves his bull rope will cowbell from the timekeeper’s table. The fans implore him to help Wilkes. He looks to leave, but Bagwell says ‘yeah, that’s right, keep walking.’ Buff then continues to lay the boots to Wilkes with Superior Patriot. Jock appears to be leaving again, but then he shakes his head defiantly, turns and lays into Bagwell with the cowbell. Then he blasts Patriot with the cowbell. He picks up Wilkes to a loud ovation and they get out of there before the heels recover.
A pre-taped promo has Chris Candido and Sunny driving in the new Cadillac Chris won from beating Ronnie Garvin at Phoenix Re-Rising, courtesy of Solomon Cadillac. Sunny is like this car. She’s classy, part of the finer things in life, curves in the all the right places and a roomy backseat…wait, what? Anyway, Candido runs down Garvin as white trash who couldn’t appreciate a Cadillac the way he and Sunny can. Garvin said they need to keep worrying about him. If Chris sees him on the road, he’s going to run his ass over.

Ewing Family King of the Trios Tournament
The Varsity Blondes (Brian Pillman Jr. and Griff Garrison) and Sunny vs. The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers) and Missy Hyatt
Referee: Joey Marella
Missy Hyatt wants in against Sunny, but she just stands on the apron and Pillman and Griffin work the whole match against the Fantastics. Fulton ducks a clothesline by Pillman and then comes across the other way with a flying crossbody. He tags Rogers. Double team flap jack on Pillman. Garrison runs in to take a double team superkick. They then go over to Sunny and slingshot her into the ring from the apron, despite her protests. Missy runs in and they double hip toss her into a butt splash on Sunny. She covers, but neither are legal. While Marella is trying to get control, Garrison low blows Rogers and rolls him up from behind.
Winners: Varsity Blondes and Sunny by pinfall of Garrison on Rogers at 9:48
Junkyard Dog comes up to Big E in the back. JYD saw the bit from Superstar Saturday and he’s disgusted by Big E. Is everything a joke to him? New Day needed a female partner for the trios tournament and just grab the first PAWG they could find while making a gag out of it. Who cares about winning a prestigious tournament worth $30,000 when you can make the fans say, ‘oh, those guys are funny. I like them.’ Langston tells Dog to back off. He’s got no right to judge the New Day. He keeps talking about how New Day is standing on the shoulders of him and Soul Patrol. Nobody asked them to tote that barge and lift that bale for them. Yeah, well they did and they better respect it. Because, when Langston is in the back laughing and joking, JYD is out front cooking and smoking.

Chris Jericho is the guest on Honky’s Chateau with the Honk Tonk Man. Clips are shown of Jericho losing the match to Tom Magee at Phoenix Re-Rising and being forced to suck on his own boot. Y2J claims it should have been a disqualification when Magee slammed into the referee. He’d protest, but nothing is going to erase the taste of his own boot in his mouth. Magee thinks he’s hot stuff, but he will never…EVER…get the drop on Jericho like that ever again. Magee comes out and tells Jericho that he agrees with him, Tom didn’t beat him at Phoenix Re-Rising. Y2J beat himself and he’s been doing that every day since he let himself go physically. Jericho asks what Magee is talking about he’s in the best shape of his life right now. Yeah, if the shape was round. Jericho laughs, the man with the personality of a coffee table cracked a joke. Good health is no joke and Magee is willing to help Jericho by putting him on a training and healthy eating program. Jericho is good with what he’s doing, thanks. Maybe Magee should get on his training program. Jericho walks off and shoulder checks Magee. As he gets past him, Chris winces because of how solid Tom is.

Honky Tonk Man now has Lita in the Chateau. She’s the new women’s champion. She defied the odds and everything Tessa Blanchard said about her being made of glass. Lita is standing tall with the title while Blanchard is going to be out at least a month with cracked ribs. The finish of their last woman standing match is shown with the Litasault through a table over the concrete floor. Carmella then comes over and gets in Lita’s face. She deserves a title shot and she’ll get it at Destination Dallas. Lita saw the way she was cuddling up to J.R. Ewing at Superstar Saturday. That’s typical Carmella. She doesn’t earn anything, she just sleeps her way into it. Carmella slaps Lita and walks off. Lita said she’ll turn the other cheek this time, because she’s got what Carmella really wants, the CCW Women’s Title.

Ewing Family King of the Trios Tournament
The Soul Patrol (Tony Atlas and Rocky Johnson) and Layla El vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Taya Valkyrie
Referee: Tommy Young
Before the match starts, Kofi and Xavier has Taya turnaround. They point at her butt and nod with smiles. They turn Layla El around and frown, while giving a thumbs down. Layla slaps Woods, whips him into a corner, does a cartwheel back elbow, snap mares him out and then does a running neck snap. He sits back up from that and takes a seated dropkick. Split leg drop and she covers for a two count. Xavier backs off and calls for a time out. Layla turns around and slaps her own butt in Woods’ face like ‘you’d be lucky to get this.’ Tags to Johnson and Kingston. They grapple and mat wrestle for a bit. Johnson gets the best of a backslide for two. Kingston rolls out of it to his feet and tries to surprise with a standing dropkick, but Rocky feints back and Kingston flops to the mat. Tag to Atlas. Kingston scrambles to his corner and tags Valkyrie.
She’s not scared and locks up with Atlas. Tony is controlling, but Taya knees him in the gut and then flips him over by grabbing both shoulders in a short of judo throw. Atlas comes up in the corner and Valkyrie goes for a monkey flip, but Atlas blocks and brings her out of the corner with a running powerbomb. Woods breaks up the pin. Atlas grabs Woods by his hair as he tries to run away. Gorilla press and he throws Woods into Kingston on the apron. Atlas turns back around into a Codebreaker. She tries for the Road to Valhalla, but Atlas is just too big and she collapses under the weight. Tag to Layla El. She nails the Lay Out, but Kingston breaks up the cover this time. Johnson comes and dropkicks Kingston to the floor. Woods runs in and Rocky hip tosses him to the floor. Johnson with a suicide dive onto both on the outside. Atlas looks to do the same and the crowd is going nuts for the idea of Lucha-Atlas. Taya cuts him off and tosses him through the ropes to the floor. Layla with a surprise O’Connor Roll, but Taya reverses and hooks the tights.
