MITB PRE-SHOW MATCH: REY MISTERIO JR & LUCHA BROS. vs. MIRO & WORLD’S GREATEST TAG TEAM : Penta El 0M gave Charlie Haas a pair of slingblades. He climbed the turnbuckle and Shelton Benjamin tripped him up. Rey Fénix ran over gave Benjamin a superkick to knock him off the apron. Haas grabbed him from behind and threw him out to the floor. Penta dove off the top turnbuckle and executed a tornado DDT. Penta and Haas both slowly crawled to their corners. Haas made the tag to Miro. Benjamin pulled Misterio off the apron and gave him a t-bone suplex into the barricade. Miro came in and squashed Penta in the corner with an avalanche splash from behind and then gave him an overhead belly-to-belly suplex. He hit him with a Miro Kick and then applied the Game Over, leaning back so far that Penta was on top of Miro. Penta had no choice but to tap. MITB PRE-SHOW TAG TEAM TABLES MATCH: DUDLEY BOYZ vs. BEER MONEY INC. : “Cowboy” James Storm and “Glorious” Bobby Roode had D-Von Dudley set up for Drinking While Investing. As Storm had D-Von in the upright position for the powerbomb portion, Bubba Ray pulled the table out of the way. Storm and Roode completed the maneuver, but not through the table. Bubba Ray fired off fists and bionic elbows at Roode and Storm. He gave Storm a Bubbabomb. Roode grabbed him and executed a Glorious DDT. Roode and Storm went outside and brought another table into the ring. First, they grabbed Bubba Ray to try to put him through a table by Drinking While Investing. Instead, he gave Storm a back body drop through the table. Roode sent Bubba Ray into the ropes and gave him a spinebuster. Upon popping up, he receiver a corkscrew elbow smash from D-Von, who followed it up with a falling reverse DDT. After that, the D-Von and Bubba Ray put Roode through the other table with a 3-D to get the win. (10:41) -- Winners: Dudley Boyz
WOMEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: BAYLEY vs. BIANCA BELAIR vs. EMBER MOON vs. RAQUEL GONZALEZ vs. RUBY RIOT vs. TONI STORM : Ruby Riot gave Bayley a Riot Kick, knocking her down and out of the ring. She set up a ladder and started to climb it. Toni Storm ran into the ring and climbed the other side. They met at the top and traded blows. Bianca Belair came in and tipped the ladder over. Riot went flying over the top rope and crashed hard on a ladder bridging the ring apron and barricade. Storm got hung on the top rope. Belair finished her off by lifting her into a military press and throwing her over onto that same ladder. She put the ladder inside the ring back in place and started to climb it. Raquel Gonzalez came in and gave her several forearms to the lower back. Meanwhile, Ember Moon climbed the turnbuckle. She jumped off and executed Eclipse on Gonzalez at the same time she removed Belair from the ladder with a one-arm powerbomb. Moon started climbing the ladder. Bayley returned to the ring with a steel chair and hit her legs and back. Bayley pulled her down from the ladder and gave her an arm-trap headlock driver onto the chair. She climbed to the top of the ladder and retrieved the Money in the Bank briefcase. (21:14) -- Winner: Bayley
WWE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RICKY STEAMBOAT {c} vs. AJ STYLES : AJ Styles gave Ricky Steamboat a Phenomenal Forearm and pinned him for a 2-count. He went back out to the ring apron and executed a springboard 450-degree splash. He hooked Steamboat’s leg. 1…2… kick out! Styles tried to set up Steamboat for the Styles Clash, but the Interncontinental Champion swept his legs and made a jackknife cover for a 2-count. Styles tried to clothesline Steamboat but he ducked and executed a 180-degree springboard clothesline. Steamboat brought the arm drags and then executed a Canadian destroyer. He made the pin. 1…2… kick out! Steamboat went to the turnbuckles. He went for a diving cross-body but Styles dropkicked him out of the air. He tried to pick up Steamboat, but he pulled him into a small package for 1…2… kick out! Styles hit a Pele kick and Steamboat fell out to the ring apron. Styles tried to give him a vertical suplex back into the ring but Steamboat slipped down behind him and executed a bridging German suplex. 1…2… kick out! Steamboat gave Styles some chops and Styles responded with another Pele kick. Steamboat got his arms up to block it. He grabbed Styles and executed a sit-out piledriver. He made the cover. 1…2…3! WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS MATCH: HARLEM HEAT {c} vs. TED DIBIASE & JOHN BRADSHAW LAYFIELD : John Bradshaw Layfield went for a Clothesline from Wall Street on Booker T. He ducked out of the way and executed a spinning crescent kick on him. Booker T crawled to the corner for the hot tag, but Ted DiBiase pulled Stevie Ray off the ring apron. Stevie Ray chased the Million Dollar Man around the ring. Without a partner to tag, Booker T got up but ate a running big boot and then received a fallaway slam. JBL waited for Booker T to get up and went for the Clothesline from Wall Street. This time he hit it. He pinned him. 1…2… Stevie Ray made the save. DiBiase charged at him and got a flapjack. JBL tried to attack but got the 110th Street Slam. Stevie Ray nailed DiBiase with a running clothesline, then picked him up and threw him out of the ring. He went back to the apron and received the hot tag. Stevie Ray climbed the turnbuckle and took JBL off his feet with a flying clothesline. He gave him a running high knee strike and then a sidewalk slam. DiBiase came charging in at him and got a back body drop over to the top rope. Stevie Ray tagged Booker T, who climbed the turnbuckle. Stevie Ray gave JBL a backbreaker and held him on his knee. Booker T jumped off the top turnbuckle and landed the diving leg drop. Towering Inferno! Booker T pinned JBL. 1…2…3! WWE UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: KEITH LEE vs. WALTER {c} : WALTER gave Lee a thunderous dropkick that sent him into the turnbuckles and then took him off his feet with a big boot. He went to the top turnbuckle and landed a splash. He pinned Lee, who kicked out at the count of two. WALTER got up and stomped on Lee before going to the turnbuckle to try for another one. This time, he missed. They both got up and traded blows. WALTER tried to send Lee into the ropes, but Lee reversed and gave WALTER a pounce. He picked him up and executed the Spirit Bomb! 1…2… kick out! Lee put WALTER on his shoulders in a fireman’s carry. Before he could execute the Big Bang Catastrophe, WALTER broke free, sliding down behind Lee and applied a rear naked choke. Lee used his power to get back to a vertical base, but he couldn’t shake WALTER, and ramming him back into the turnbuckles did nothing to get him to let go. WALTER held it until Lee lost consciousness, forcing the referee to end the match. (16:33) -- Winner by Referee Stoppage: WALTER
MEN’S MONEY IN THE BANK LADDER MATCH: BRIAN CAGE vs. DANIEL BRYAN vs. EDDIE GUERRERO vs. KEVIN OWENS vs. STING vs. THE UNDERTAKER : On the ring apron, Brian Cage set up Kevin Owens for a powerbomb, but Owens held onto the ropes. He tried to counter with a back body drop. Cage landed on his feet. Cage charged at Owens but received a pop-up powerbomb on a pair of ladders bridging the apron and barricade. Moments later, Owens went to the top of an 18-foot ladder and performed a bullfrog splash onto Cage, caving in the ladders. Eddie Guerrero put a ladder on his shoulders and airplane spun around the ring, knocking down Sting and Daniel Bryan. The Undertaker came in and gave the ladder a big boot, causing Guerrero’s airplane spin to crash and burn. Sting got up and The Undertaker gave him a chokeslam. He set up a ladder in the middle of the ring and started to climb it. Bryan put up a ladder alongside it and climbed up beside The Undertaker. While they were fighting each other, Guerrero place a third ladder in the row. He climbed it and started hitting The Undertaker from the other side. Finally, Bryan and Guerrero took The Undertaker off the ladder with a double side Russian legsweep. They teamed up to put the Deadman in the Yes! Lock and Lasso from El Paso simultaneously until he had been incapacitated. Guerrero let go first and started up a ladder. When Bryan saw him near the top, he had to rush up to prevent him from getting the briefcase. They traded punches and chops and slammed each other’s faces off the top of the ladder. Bryan gave Guerrero some headbutts. Guerrero barely held on, but then he raked Bryan’s eyes and shoved him to the mat. Guerrero did a little shimmy, thinking he was now all alone, but Sting had climbed up an adjacent ladder. Scorpion Death Drop off the ladder! Bryan tried to go back up the ladder. Sting pulled him down and gave him a Scorpion Death Drop! He climbed up the ladders and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase to win the match. (26:42) -- Winner: Sting
WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: RHEA RIPLEY {c} vs. MICKIE JAMES : Rhea Ripley whipped Mickie James into the corner and charged in after her. James got out of the way. Ripley posted her shoulder. James pulled her out and pinned her with a roll-up. Ripley kicked out at two. James attempted a MickieDT but Ripley lifted her up and tossed her to the mat. Ripley went for a running clothesline. James ducked it, ran to the ropes, and took Ripley down with tilt-a-whirl headscissors. James climbed the turnbuckle and attempted a diving crossbody. Ripley caught her and countered with a fallaway slam. She leveled James with a running big boot and then gave her Riptide. 1…2…3! (9:17) -- Winner by Pinfall: Rhea Ripley
WWE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH: ROWDY RODDY PIPER vs. ROMAN REIGNS {c} : Rowdy Roddy Piper and Roman Reigns were brawling outside the ring when Reigns posted Piper. Hot Rod was busted open. Reigns took the top piece of the steel ring steps off its base and threw them in Piper’s direction. He dove out of the way and the steps slammed into the turnbuckle post. Piper slid back into the ring but knocked Reigns off the apron when he tried to come back in. Piper dove down and got him with a clothesline from the apron to the floor. Next, he picked up Reigns and gave him a piledriver on the bottom section of the steel ring steps. Piper went back into the ring. He could have won by countout but left the ring to reset the count as the title doesn’t change hands that way. Piper brought Reigns to his feet. Reigns smashed him in the head with his own and then gave him a superman punch. Piper was on his hands and knees when he started to get up at the barricade by the timekeeper’s position. Reigns ran over and speared him into the barricade with enough force to dislodge it. Reigns returned to the ring in the nick of time but rolled back out to break the count. He didn’t want to win it that way. He picked up Piper, who had no qualms about pulling his hair and thumbing his eyes. Piper tried to give Reigns a suplex on the floor, but Reigns blocked and reversed it. He brought Piper into the ring and gave him a spear. Reigns pinned him. Piper miraculously got his foot on the bottom rope. Reigns wanted to keep attacking but the referee pushed him away and checked on Piper, who appeared to be in no shape to continue. Piper shook off the ref and got to his feet, albeit he was on spaghetti legs. With blood all over his face, He put his fists up and told Reigns to bring it. Reigns hammered him with another spear. He dragged him away from the ropes and pinned him. 1…2…3! (22:27) -- Winner by Pinfall: Roman Reigns
