AMERICAN WOLVES vs. ADAM PAGE & PETE DUNNE : Davey Richards hit Pete Dunne with a step-up enzuigiri kick that spun him around right into a Buckshot Lariat from Adam Page. He took the full force of Page’s finisher because Eddie Edwards moved out of the way. Edwards got Page with a spinning heel kick that sent him over the top rope, and then he gave him a slingshot plancha. Page was trying to fight off both Richards and Edwards. He gave Richards a release German suplex and then kept brawling with Edwards. The referee reached his 10-count and called for the bell, ending the match without a winner. The Wolves were disappointed. Page came back in the ring to check on Dunne, who pushed him away and gave him a superkick. He grabbed Page and gave him an x-plex and then put him in a triangle choke, lreeasing it only after Page passed out. (12:16) Match Ends in a Double Countout
Imperium was interviewed about what happened in the previous episode of NXT. WALTER said that Kevin Owens should not be in NXT. He is an inferior wrestler who has no place in the company of great men like Imperium. WALTER said he had a very simple warning for Owens. Get out of town now. He said that Owens should leave town before he embarrasses himself. If he doesn’t, the next time they cross paths, Owens won’t be able to walk away from the beating he gives him. As soon as he finished saying this, Owens hit the scene, hitting members of Imperium with a chair and then jumping WALTER. Officials and security personnel rushed into the scene to get in between them.
DOMINIK DIJAKOVIC vs. JOAQUIN WILDE : Dominik Dijakovic had a dominant performance in this match. Wilde had a few opportunities, but he never kept the advantage for long. Dijakovic executed Feast Your Eyes and pinned Joaquin Wilde to get the win. (5:39) Winner: Dominik Dijakovic
William Regal got up from the commentary table and entered the ring to announce the first two matches signed to NXT TAKEOVER: BROOKLYN, which will take place Saturday, April 3, live from the Barclays Center. First, in light of the fact that tonight’s tag team match ended without a winner, the Commissioner doesn’t see the point in allowing one of our three semifinalists to sail on through the finals while the other two must battle it out for a spot in the finals. Therefore, the first NXT Tag Team Champions will be crowned when #DIY, Imperium and the Lucha Brothers compete in a triple threat ladder match! Second, Regal announced that WALTER will make his first NXT Championship title defense at TAKEOVER versus Kevin Owens!
NIKKI CROSS vs. RAQUEL GONZALEZ : Raquel Gonzalez showed off her power in giving Nikki Cross a wicked short-arm lariat, a fallaway slam, a reverse-thrown scoop powerslam, and a fireman’s cutter. However, Cross kept kicking out of everything. When Gonzalez put Cross on the top rope and climbed up, Cross fought her off and knocked her off the turnbuckles with some headbutts. Then she executed a diving cross body. She executed a tornado DDT and a running bulldog and attempted pinfalls after each move, but Gonzalez kicked out. Cross put Gonzalez in a double underhook crossface to try to get a submission, but Gonzalez used her leg strength to turn her around and get a toe on the bottom rope. After Cross had to let go she set up for The Purge, but Gonzalez blocked it and countered with a jackhammer. She picked up Cross, gave her a One-Arm Powerbomb and pinned her to get the win. (13:56) Winner: Raquel Gonzalez
