The show begins with Vince McMahon coming to the ring to brag about his ruthlessness as a businessman. He said that he was not content with there being other territories in Mash-Up Wrestling. WWE is the only sports entertainment company that matters and its territory is everywhere. That’s why he jumped at the opportunity to shut down small underground lucha clubs on the west coast and operations in Florida run by men whose mouths are bigger than their brains. Now, Florida is WWE territory thanks in part to these men: Triple H, William Regal, and “The Bastard” PAC!
All three men, who were last seen in Florida come to the ring. Triple H has with him the Florida Heavyweight Championship. He talked about how easy it was for his NXT Evolution to dominate the territory, paving the way for NXT to claim the territory as its own. He said winning this garbage title was the easiest thing he had ever done, but like Bobby Heenan’s failed company, it belongs in the dust bin of history. Regal handed Triple H is trusty sledgehammer and “The Game” smashed the title belt, and PAC swept it into a garbage can.
Vince was delighted and felt that the group must be rewarded. Tonight, he’ll start the gift giving with a reward for Triple H – a match against Rob Van Dam to qualify for the last spot in the men’s elimination chamber match! Triple H said that he’ll win that match, then win the elimination chamber match, and go on to Wrestlemania to win the Mash-Up Wrestling Men’s World Championship, and after he does, he’ll put it where it belongs – in the trash alongside the Florida Heavyweight Championship!
RHEA RIPLEY vs. SARAH LOGAN : Rhea Ripley got a match to showcase her skills. Sarah Logan was a tough competitor, but Ripley was domineering. Liv Morgan tried to interfere on Logan’s behalf but was given the Riptide. Logan was put in the Prism Trap and forced to submit. (6:03) -- Winner: Rhea Ripley
BRIAN PILLMAN vs. JAKE HAGER : Hager put Pillman in an ankle lock, but Pillman escaped. He tried to attack with a flying forearm, but Hager caught Pillman and gave him fallaway slam. Hager put Pillman in the corner and went for the Hager Bomb. Pillman blocked it with his knees and immediately transitioned to a cross armbreaker. Hager didn’t submit. He got to the ropes. He went for a clothesline and Pillman ducked it and then took Hager down with Air Pillman. Instead of pinning him, he locked on a cross armbreaker again, and after about 20 seconds, Hager tapped out. Immediately after getting the win, Chris Jericho entered the ring. He hit Pillman from behind, but couldn’t get any more shots in as Hart jumped into the ring. The rest of the Inner Circle and Hart Foundation came out from the back, but a plethora of referees and security officials blocked them from getting to the ring. Back in the ring, Jericho dumped Pillman out of the ring and Hart dumped Hager out. Jericho went for the Judas Effect, but Hart ducked, then gave Hart a double-leg sweep and tried to apply the Sharpshooter. Jericho managed to kick Hart away and then frantically crawled out of the ring to escape. After regaining his composure, Jericho claimed that Hart was going down at Elimination Chamber. Hart said he was ready. (16:02) -- Winner: Brian Pillman
THE UNDERTAKER vs. BRAY WYATT : The Undertaker returned to the ring for the first time since losing to Wyatt in a casket match at Survivor Series. This match never really got going. The referee called for the bell less than twenty seconds in, disqualifying Bray Wyatt. His Family immediately entered the ring to give The Undertaker a 3-on-1 beat down. However, Daniel Bryan and Ricky Steamboat ran out to help The Undertaker. They managed to turn the tide. Wyatt escaped without taking much damage, but Rowan received a diving crossbody from Steamboat and Harper got the running high knee from Bryan. The Undertaker gave Wyatt a cold stare. He took a microphone and challenged the entire Wyatt Family to match: “the three of us versus the three of you!” (0:19) -- Winner: The Undertaker
BIANCA BELAIR vs. BRIE BELLA : After outside interference by her twin sister Nikki, Brie Bella took control of the match up until she put Belair in the Lebelle Lock. Belair rolled over on Brie and then lifted herself up off the mat with Brie on her back. She lifted Brie onto her shoulders and gave her a Samoan drop. After a few more moves, she finished her off with the K.O.D., earning the final spot in the women’s elimination chamber match. (8:33) -- Winner: Bianca Belair
ROB VAN DAM vs. TRIPLE H : Triple H worked slow and methodical through the middle portion of the match. When he went for a back body drop, RVD landed on his feet. He turned around and caught RVD’s feet, then got the reverse heel kick. RVD began a comeback that culminated with him executing a springboard split-legged moonsault. Triple H kicked out of the pin, then he escaped to the outside. RVD came out and did a running, diving spinning heel kick off the ring apron. He started to brawl with Triple H, but he gave RVD a spinning spinebuster on the floor. Triple H decided to take RVD back into the ring and win RVD kicked out, Triple H changed tactics and put him in a figure four leg lock. RVD eventually turned it over. Triple H turned it back around after a quarter-of-a-minute and RVD got to the ropes. Triple H tried to stay right on the attack, but RVD blocked and gave him a variety of kicks and then some rolling thunder. He went up to the top turnbuckle and went for the 5-Star Frog Splash. Triple H put his knees up to block. After that, he ran over RVD with a clothesline and gave him the Pedigree. He make the cover and won the match, earning the final spot in the men’s elimination chamber match. (21:14) -- Winner: Triple H
