The surprise team is David and Kevin Von Erich, led to the ring by Kerry. Demolition team up on Dynamite Kid. Johnny Smith comes in to help, but inadvertently gets Kid pushed out. Demolition then tosses Smith. Kid yells at him on the floor and then decks him with a right hand before walking off. Brian Kendrick ill advisedly goes to the top rope and is knocked off by Dick Murdoch. London is a bit too late to save his partner, is caught on a flying crossbody by Dick and sent to the floor with a fallaway slam. Demolition toss Robert Gibson, who seems to land awkwardly and goes down. He’s helped to the back by security and seems to be favoring his left knee. Kevin catches Tanaka’s foot on a kick and sends him out with a Dragon Screw Leg whip. Strike Force double dropkicks a brawling Ax and Trevor Murdoch out. Paul Diamond is launched out by a double backdrop from the Von Erichs. Double hip toss by Strike Force to eliminate Smash. SCU team up to eliminate Dick. SCU and the Fantastics brawl until all four fall out to the floor. Ricky Morton tries to take out David with a flying head scissors, but David grabs the top rope to catch himself and dumps Morton. This leaves Strike Force and the Von Erichs. Kevin ducks a flying forearm by Tito and he gets hung up in the ropes. David hip tosses Martel out. Tito and Rick skin the cat back in, but are then hit with a charging double clothesline from the brothers and go to the floor.
WINNER: David and Kevin Von Erick at 19:20
Dutch Mantel has Dynamite Kid in the back.
DK: Ever since coming to CCW, I’ve been a loser and the Dynamite Kid is certainly not that. The reason why hasn’t been me. It’s been Johnny Smith. I brought him in as a favor to him. Every time we’ve lost as a team and my shoulders were down for the three count it’s because he wasn’t there or he did something stupid like tonight. He’s out of here and I’m around to stay. As everything resets here in CCW you’re going to see a new Dynamite Kid.

Midnight Rockers Implode
Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty
Referee: Joey Marella
Wild brawling to start to signal these two really don’t like each other. They spill over the top rope and keep fighting on the floor. Marty scores a gutbuster drop on the ring wall and follows with a drive by kick. Back in the ring Jannetty gets an Overdrive for two. Crisscross sequence ends with a double crossbody try and a double down. Shawn ducks a wild discus clothesline by Marty and gets an atomic drop. One handed bulldog. Michaels up top for an elbow drop, but Marty gets his foot up. Snap suplex. He goes for the Rocker Dropper, but Michaels flips Jannetty out of it. He lands a discus clothesline. Springboard falling back elbow for two. Back into the ropes and Michaels gets the flying forearm with kip up. He goes up top for a crossbody, but is caught with a Codebreaker. Jannety goes up top, but a frog splash only gets two. He sets up for the Rocker Dropper again, but Shawn picks him up out of it for a modified teardrop suplex. Michaels sets up for Sweet Chin Music, but Marty grabs the foot and takes his former partner down into a single leg crab. Michaels makes the ropes. Jannetty pulls him off and goes to re-cinch it, but Michaels kicks him off. Marty stumbles off the ropes and into a kip up DDT. Michaels up top again and nails a missile dropkick as Marty stands for two. He lines up Sweet Chin Music again, Marty stands and sees it, then drops and rolls to the floor. He points at his head to show how smart he is. Michaels comes out with a suicide dive. He drops Marty crotch first on the ring wall and goes all parkour by jumping from apron to the ring steps to the wall for a seated dropkick. Michaels sits Jannetty on the top turnbuckle from the outside. He goes to bring him in with a top rope bulldog, but Marty pushes him off, goes for a swanton and misses. He pops up into the superkick and Michaels finishes with the Teardrop Suplex.
Winner: Shawn Michaels by pinfall at 14:25
Ric Flair goes up to the Revival in the back as they are getting ready for their match later on.
RF: Where the hell were you two last night?
DW: We weren’t booked on the card, so we took the night off.
RF: You weren’t booked. But I was. Curt Hennig was. Brian Cage was. The rest of your stablemates, the rest of Ric Flair’s Elite Horsemen were, and when we needed you, the two of you were off at the hotel sipping margaritas by the pool with underage ring rats.
SD: I’m pretty sure they were at least 18, maybe 19.
RF: Don’t be funny! Your opponents tonight, Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard, weren’t booked, but they were here. When Sid went crazy and tried to outright kill Curt, they were there to try and stop him. Arn and Tully were part of the original Four Horsemen line up and there’s a reason for that. They’re not only two of the best wrestlers of all time, they’re friends and they’re loyal. They were there and you weren’t. They weren’t booked, but they were in the back and they had Ole’s back when they needed him. Then Ole had my back despite us fighting lately. That’s family and that’s what you’ll never be to me.
Flair walks off and the Revival stare after him a bit perplexed.

CCW Gulf Coast Title
Kurt Angle (c) vs. Big Show
Referee: Tommy Young
Angle does the Rock’s ‘just bring it’ hand gesture. He charges and Angle moves, so Show smashes into the corner. He goes to the next corner, tells Show to ‘just bring it’ again. He charges and nails the corner. Angle goes to the next two corners and it’s the same story each time. Angle then dives to the floor and Show follows to give chase. They do two laps and as they come around for a third, a winded Big Show is nailed with a flying knee to the back that sends him into the ring steps as Kurt goes to lap him. Angle gets back into the ring and a breathing hard Big Show barely makes the 10 count. Angle goes to the ropes and Show very lazily goes for a telegraphed backdrop. Angle catches him for a swinging neckbreaker. He goes to the ankle lock with grape vine. Show tries to drag himself to the ropes, but he’s too tired. He tries to power up, but he’s too tired and eventually and submits.
WINNER: Kurt Angle by submission at 8:55

SJ: I heard what CM Punk said last night about him winning my MUW Men’s Title and then running off to AEW with it. CCW might not be my home territory in the Mash Up Wrestling Universe, but I have nothing but respect for all the different companies that make this the greatest collection of wrestling leagues ever unified. What Punk said last night was disrespectful to Continental Championship Wrestling and, therefore, insulting to me. I might not be a fan favorite around here, but I make a promise to the CCW fans that I will not let Punk win this title and take it to AEW for some prop in proving how great he thinks he is. I will retain this belt and be happy to come back to defend it anytime. Kurt Angle, Randy Savage, Ric Flair, Steve Austin, Dave Bautista…there are some great talents here in CCW and I look forward to defeating each one of them.

We Were Never Friends
Edge vs. Christopher Daniels
Referee: Joey Marella
A lot of grappling to start and then a long crisscross sequence that ends with Daniels going for a hip toss, Edge blocks and reverses to his own and Daniels blocks that and they break off. It’s established they are pretty even. Edge asks for a test of strength, because why not. Daniels is winning that, when Edge head butts him in the stomach and then backdrops him over. Daniels sits up on the mat and takes a rolling neck snap. Helicopter leg drop off the ropes for two. Edge whips Daniels into the ropes and wants the spear, but Daniels meets him coming in with a rolling kick to the jaw. Daniels wraps his legs around Edge’s middle and works a double handed chinlock. Edge powers up and swings Daniels out and around for a side slam. Inverted DDT to the knee. Edge-O-Matic for two. Whip to the corner and a cartwheel back elbow. Running cutter out of the corner for two. He wants the spear, but Daniels just won’t get up. So, Edge goes to pick him up and Daniels suckers him with a small package. They fight out and Chris gets an arm drag as they stand. He hits a series of them and Edge finally eats a standing dropkick. He falls onto the middle rope and Daniels gets a 619. Springboard clothesline. He lines up the Angels Wings, but Edge backdrops out. Edgecution for two. Now Edge wants the Angels Wings just to show Daniels up. Daniels backdrops out and gets a pele kick as Edge pops up. Whip to the corner and a monkey flip try, but Edge holds on. Daniels rolls to his feet again and charges into a back elbow. Edge goes up to for a blockbuster. Downward Spiral for two. Edge is getting frustrated and really wants the spear now. He comes in high, Daniels drops low and hits a sort of scoop DVD using Edge’s own momentum to take him over. It gets two. Crucifix powerbomb try, but Edge slides out the back, Daniels turns into a spin kick. Edge hits the Angels Wings, lines up the spear and nails it.
WINNER: Edge by pinfall at 16:37
Dutch Mantel is in the back with the Von Erich brothers.
Kerry: I said recently on Wednesday Warfare that my heart and soul would be coming back to me here in CCW and they have. That’s my brothers Kevin and David.
David: This might not be Dallas, but we’ve committed to make Continental Championship Wrestling our new home and Von Erich country. Wherever we are, the Von Erich name stands for excellence. For the first time in a long time, the three of us are back together.
Kevin: That’s right. We came in big tonight and won the tag team battle royal. That guarantees us a shot at the Midnight Express. We’re coming for them at the first opportunity. Soon, the Von Erich brothers will be the gold standard of CCW.

CCW Gulf Coast Tag Team Titles – Best Two Out of Three Falls
Brain Busters (Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard) (c) with Ole Anderson vs. The Revival (Scott Dawn and Dash Wilder)
Referee: Tommy Young
The commentators note that Woman isn’t there and the Revival appear to be looking around for her as they trip down the aisleway, still smarting from the chewing out by Flair.
AA controls on Dawson early. Hammerlock slam leads to a spinebuster and tag to Tully. Blanchard works the arm with an arm wringer and armbar. Dawson frees himself, hits a standing dropkick and tags Wilder. Wilder comes in with a double axe handle from on high, but Blanchard catches him around the waist and delivers a belly to belly suplex. Tag to AA for a double team suplex. Anderson telegraphs a backdrop and is stood up with a kick to the mush. Double knee facebreaker. He gets his own spinebuster and tags Dawson. Short arm clothesline gets a two count. Slingshot suplex gets two and he points at Tully. Arn comes back with an atomic drop. Tag to Tully. Bionic elbow off the second rope to the arm. Single arm DDT. Shoulder breaker. Fujiawra arm bar on the mat. Arn comes in to cut off Wilder. While Young is dealing with that, Tully jams the heel of his boot into Dawson’s throat. Dawson can’t breathe and eats a slingshot suplex. Tully says ‘that’s how you do it’ as he makes the cover. Brain Busters win the first fall.
As the second fall starts, Flair comes out and stands at ringside. Revival starts getting cocky. Dawson tags Wilder and hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker on Blanchard. Dawson comes off the second turnbuckle with a diving elbow drop. Double team DDT. Arn breaks up the pin. As Young pushes AA out, the Revival hit a double team brain buster on Tully. A small package gets two, Tully rolls it over for two. They go rolling around the mat and steamroll over Young. They break up near the ropes and Flair pulls Dawson to the floor and gives him a low blow. Wilder jumps off the apron and gets on Ric. Ole attacks him from behind and Flair drops to cheap shot him. Back in the ring, Dawson eats the spike piledriver. Flair celebrates with the winners and the original Four Horsemen are reformed.

KA: The Big Show tried to bully me and all of CCW to get what he wanted through intimidation and fear. I knew I couldn’t beat him on brawn, so I did it with brains. I had the intelligence to out think show by getting him to tire himself out. I knew I was the better conditioned athlete and it proved to be part of the winning factor tonight, along with the three I’s – intelligence, intensity and integrity. I leave Kaufmania as the Gulf Coast champion and no matter what CCW looks like after tonight, I will still be one of its finest champions and I will still be preaching the three I’s to all the fans out there. I look forward to the future.

Special Guest Referee:
For Full Ownership of CCW
Andy Kaufman vs ODB (proxy for “Cowboy” Ron Fuller)
Special Guest Referee: Jerry “The King” Lawler
Fuller is at ringside. Kaufman screams that Lawler is getting handsy during the pat down and backs off. Jerry goes over to ODB, who does the self boob grab as if to say ‘check all you want.’ He kind of waves her off. Lockup to start. Andy gets a headlock and his mannerisms say ‘see, I told you so.’ But, ODB quickly reverses and turns it into a bulldog. She kips up and yells. Scoop slam off the ropes. Gorilla press and she just kind of lets Kaufman hang up there as he wines and cries. She steps out from under and he falls. Hard whip to the corner and the Bronco Muncher. She backs up to do it again, but Kaufman goes to the floor to avoid it. Fuller comes over and scares Andy back to the apron. He turns and yells at Ron while holding the top rope. This allows ODB to slingshot Kaufman in and he lands on his butt. ODB with several kicks and then a rolling neck snap. Kip up and more yelling. ODB grinds Kaufman on the mat with a head vice and chops to the neck and head.
Col. Robert Fuller comes to ringside with a big Halliburton briefcase, crowing that “the check cleared.” Ron comes over and berates his brother, wanting to know what he’s doing out there. The commentators note how Rob has always been sheepish and scared around his brother since CCW started, going back to when Robert was a manager and now that he has a front office job. Robert backs up a bit as Ron yells. He then explodes forward and smashes Ron with the briefcase and he goes down. He stands with his back to the ring and lifts the briefcase for another shot, but ODB comes over and reaches through the ropes to grab him. He rears back hard with the briefcase and nails her. She falls backwards into a schoolboy and Lawler counts a lightening fast one, two, three.
WINNER: Andy Kaufman by pinfall at 7:33
The crowd seems shocked. Lawler stands sheepishly in the corner with his head down. Kaufman has a microphone and is wide eyed and frantic. Robert gets in the ring all smiles. He opens the briefcase to reveal a pile of money.
AK: With that win, I did two things. I proved that men will always be superior to women and I claimed full ownership of Continental Championship Wrestling. I can do whatever I want with the company and I’m going to recoup my original investment and then some by selling half of it off. Show them the money, Rob. (Rob turns to all four sides of the arena). That’s blood money right there. That’s the money that sealed Ron Fuller’s fate right there. And where did it come from…the King of Memphis, Tennessee, Jerry Lawler.
The fans boo Lawler as he walks out a bit from the corner with his head down. Kaufman hands Lawler the microphone and crows for him to tell the crowd what went down.
JL: I’ve been a journeyman here in MUW for a long time. I’ve never got a foothold anywhere and I could never get anyone to back me in bringing wrestling back to Memphis, Tennessee. I know it doesn’t mean much to you people here in New Orleans, but wrestling in Memphis means a lot to me and to a lot of other people, such as the good people of that city. You boo me now, but they will cheer me when wrestling is back in that storied city. My home. Kerry Von Erich talked about his brothers being his heart and soul. My heart and soul is Memphis and I’m getting it back, even if I had to crawl in bed with the devil himself to do it.
Lawler slams the mic back hard into Kaufman’s chest and then walks off, still seeming disgusted with himself.
AK: That’s right. I broke Jerry Lawler. I made Jerry Lawler crawl to me, because I’m the only one that could give him what he wanted, wrestling back in Memphis. A promotion to call his very own. In the next weeks we will be announcing changes and an official brand split. But, tonight, I celebrate. I celebrate defeating ODB here in this ring, running Ron Fuller out of town on a rail and making Jerry Lawler sell his soul to the devil.
