KEITH LEE & DOMINIK DIJAKOVIC vs. BEER MONEY INC.
Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic put on impressive displays of power throughout this match, however they were not accustomed to working together as a team. On the other hand, Bobby Roode and James Storm had a wealth of experience teaming together. Cooperating and knowing what each man was going to do came second nature to them. While Lee or Dijakovic could turn the match in their favour with one big power move, Roode and Storm used crafty distractions and double-team maneuvers to regain control. When a brawl broke out on the floor, Dijakovic executed a springboard corkscrew moonsault from the ring into the pile on the floor. He took Roode back into the ring.
With the referee focused on the action inside the ring, James Storm was able to pull a beer bottle out from under the ring and smash it on the back of Lee’s head, and then shove the big 350-pounder into the nearby ring steps. Storm climbed onto the apron to make the blind tag to Roode, who ate a discus big boot. Dijakovic lifted Roode onto his shoulders to give him Feast Your Eyes, but Storm gave him a chop block to the back of the knee. Storm gave Dijakovic the Last Call and Roode gave him a Northern Lariat. Then, they executed Drinking While Investing. Storm covered Dijakovic to get the win. (11:22)
Winner: Beer Money Inc.
After the match, Lee got up, felt the back of his head and saw blood on his hand. He climbed into the ring and sent Storm flying across the ring with a Pounce. Roode tried to attack, but Lee gave him a spinebuster. Lee picked up Roode and gave him a Spirit Bomb. JBL got up from commentary and slid into the ring after loosing his collar and tie. Lee saw him and locked eyes with him. Lee had the look of an angry grizzly bear and JBL retreated out of the ring. Lee chased him backstage.

We go to the backstage area near the arena loading dock where a lowrider convertible pulls into the arena with Eddie Guerrero bouncing in the driver’s seat. Jonathan Coachman approaches and asks him why he appears to be in a good mood after what happened to him last week. Guerrero says that the Latino Heat is all smiles and has a sunny disposition because he has a new opportunity and that is to win the Mash-Up Wrestling Men’s World Championship at Wrestlemania! You see, Latino Heat has entered into the Royal Rumble and he’s going to outlast 29 other men to earn a shot at Samoa Joe in the main event of the Showcase of the Immortals. But make no mistake about it, Coach, Guerrero hasn’t forgotten what the Billion Dollar Corporation did to him. If they hadn’t cheated their way to DiBiase stealing the win, Guerrero would be on the fast track to the Universal Championship. He can respect what they did to get one up on him, but if you want to cheat and steal your way to a win, you better be ready for Latino Heat to get it back. No one is better at lying, cheating and stealing than he is, and when you play that game with the Latino Heat, sooner or later you’re going to get burned, homes.

AJ STYLES vs. WALTER
AJ Styles was set up for the Phenomenal Forearm. The moment WALTER started to get up off the mat, he went for it. WALTER saw it coming and stepped out of the ring. He took Styles in a rear waistlock and gave him a big German suplex. WALTER picked up Styles and threw him around the ring for three more. He made the pin, but Styles kicked out. WALTER picked him up and lifted him onto the top turnbuckle. WALTER climbed up, but Styles fought with him. He defended himself well enough to knock WALTER off the turnbuckles. Styles went for a diving tornado DDT, but WALTER was strong enough to halt his momentum and then counter it with a northern lights suplex. WALTER took Styles by the arm and applied a cross armbreaker. Styles appeared to be in excruciating pain, but he found it within himself to turn over and fold WALTER’s lower half over the top half to pin his shoulders to the mat. WALTER released Styles upon kicking out. He went for a big boot, but Styles ducked it and hit a Pelé kick. Styles kipped up and took WALTER over onto the top of his head with an inverted Frankensteiner (from behind). He pinned WALTER, but the big Austrian kicked out.
Styles climbed to the top rope and executed the rarely seen Spiral Tap. He covered, but WALTER kicked out. He picked up WALTER and gave him a Phenomenal Blitz and then a standing moonsault into a lateral press for another 2-count. Styles went back to the ring apron and this time connected with the Phenomenal Forearm, but it didn’t knock WALTER off his feet, so he ran to the nearby ropes and attempted a spinrboard moonsault inverted DDT. However, WALTER caught Styles as he came down into a Gojira Clutch! He violently pulled Styles to the mat. The situation appeared to be hopeless, but Styles someone managed to loop a toe under the bottom rope and the referee called for the break.
WALTER yanked Styles away, but the referee demanded the hold be broken, and WALTER relented after a count of four. He picked up Styles and chopped him down to the mat with a vicious chop. He held onto Styles’ wrist and pulled him back to his feet and chopped him down again and again before setting up for a powerbomb. He lifted Styles into the air, but he punched at him and then took him down with a hurricanrana. Both men got back to their feet. Styles ducked a clothesline attempt and executed a dropkick that sent WALTER into the ropes. Upon bouncing back at Styles, the Phenomenal One lifted him into a fireman’s carry and executed the Ushigoroshi. He covered for a 2-count but WALTER kicked out.
Styles immediately turned WALTER over and applied the Calf Crusher. Now, it was WALTER who was in excruciating pain, but he used his power to crawl towards the ropes and force a break. When WALTER got back up, Styles gave him some soccer kicks to the back of the now weakened calf. After giving him some stinging shots, he tried to go for a cliffhanger DDT, but WALTER countered by falling down on him, as if giving him a Samoan drop. Back to their feet, Styles ducked a chop, started up the Phenomenal Blitz again, but WALTER blocked the lariat at the end, so Styles went for a Pelé kick, but WALTER back away from him. When Styles got back up, WALTER threw him across the ring with a German suplex. He picked him up and gave him another one, and another one and then a Burning Lariat! He pinned Styles. 1…2… shoulder up!
WALTER couldn’t believe it. He argued with the referee for a moment before climbing the turnbuckle. He was going to go for a frog splash. Styles someone managed to get up off the mat, ran over and sent WALTER off the top rope with a frankensteiner. He quickly went out to apron and tried for a springboard 450-splash, but WALTER put his knees up to block and then crawled over to get Styles in the Gojira Clutch again. This time, they were in the center of the ring, and this time Styles had no way to escape. It was the move that won WALTER the match as Styles passed out in it. With that, WALTER was set to go to the Royal Rumble to for a chance to compete for the WWE Universal Championship. (28:32)
Winner: WALTER

Jonathan Coachman met up with the Bellas, who cut a scathing promo on Mash-Up Women’s World Champion, Asuka. They claimed Asuka was making a terrible mistake by agreeing to a Last Woman Standing match against Nikki at Royal Rumble. This was going to be great for Nikki as the “real Women’s World Champion” has the home field advantage and the numbers advantage, making no attempt to hide the fact that the rules wouldn’t prevent Brie from getting involved. At the Royal Rumble, Nikki will finally collect the belt that has belonged to her since Survivor Series and no one will recognize Asuka as the champion.

Evans ducked a jumping sidekick and performed a spinning toe hook and then tagged out. Angelico tried to attack, but Booker T blocked and hit an axe kick and the Spinaroonie. He tagged Stevie Ray, who gave Evans a flapjack and then the Harlem Heat executed the Heat Seeker on Angelico. Stevie Ray made the pin for the win. (7:38)

Coming back from commercial break, Jonathan Coachman meets up with the Harlem Heat for a post-match interview. Harlem Heat showed why they were the best tag team in professional wrestling period. They heard the rumours that a WWE Tag Team Championship tournament begins the week after Royal Rumble. Booker T and Stevie Ray say that you better believe they will be in the tournament and that they are going to become the first ever, first ever, first ever, first ever, FIRST EVER WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Now can you dig that –
The Dudley Boyz show up to interrupt Booker T’s catch phrase. They tell Coach that they don’t know what is going to happen at Royal Rumble. The only thing they know for sure is that Harlem Heat are out of grips with reality. They’re a good tag team, and they might even be good enough to make it to the finals of the WWE Tag Team Championship tournament, but they don’t have what it takes to win the belts. The only team winning those straps is the team from Dudleyville. Bubbah Ray asks D-Von what he thinks and he begins to say, “Ahhhhh, Testi – ”
But they are cut off by The Miz and John Morrison who enter the shot and insult everyone in sight. They say that the Dirt Sheets are saying that the titles will be awarded at WWE Elimination Chamber and sources are saying that The Miz & Morrison have been tapped to be the inaugural WWE Tag Team Champions because they’re awesome and the rest of you aren’t.
Pushing and shoving starts up between the three teams, leading to a fist fight that sees The Coach getting caught in the middle. He ducks and tries to escape without getting hit as referees and security flood the scene.

RHEA RIPLEY & NIKKI CROSS vs. JAZZ & TONI STORM
As Rhea Ripley and Jazz brawled on the outside of the ring, Toni Storm ran from one side of the ring to the other, going through the ropes to hit Ripley with a suicide dive. When she got up, she was attacked by Nikki Cross, who gave him a diving clothesline off the ring apron. Cross and Jazz brawled with Jazz trying to send Cross into the steps with an Irish whip, but Cross reversed it and sent her crashing into the steps. Cross grabbed Storm and sent her back into the ring. She climbed the turnbuckle, but Storm got up and tripped her up. Storm climbed up and tried to set up for a superplex, but Cross blocked and gave her multiple headbutts, knocking her off the ring apron. Cross went for a senton bomb, but Storm rolled out of the way. Storm then gave Cross her finisher, Storm Zero, and pinned her for the 3-count. Ripley tried to get in the ring to break up the fall, but Jazz grabbed her by the ankles and pulled her outside where they continued to brawl even as Storm had her hand raised by the referee. (9:40)

HULK HOGAN vs. “MILLION DOLLAR MAN” TED DIBIASE
“Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase was accompanied to the ring by Beer Money Inc. He didn’t have JBL around to help him, as he had been chased away from the ring by Keith Lee following the opening match and never returned to commentary. Hulk Hogan came to the ring accompanied by Dominik Dijakovic and Keith Lee to counterbalance the presence of Bobby Roode and James Storm.
DiBiase bumped around for Hogan as soon as the opening bell rang. However, when managed to create some separation, he ran, stalled, and tried every tactic he had to try to keep Hogan from powering his way to an early victory. Leaving the ring and milking the 10-count was test of Hogan’s patience and it infuriated the fans. Storm and Roode argued with them when they booed. DiBiase’s mind games worked as Hogan had enough and started chasing him around the ring. DiBiase slid in and turned the referee’s back to Hogan so that Storm and Roode took double team him, but Hogan took care of them with a pair of fists. When Hogan tried to climb into the ring, DiBiase kicked on the middle rope, making it uncomfortable for him below the belt.
DiBiase used that maneuver to go on an extended run with the advantage. Any time Hogan stopped DiBiase’s momentum, he did something illegal, like raking his eyes. This kept him in charge. Roode and Storm also tried to help, when Hogan was down in the corner. They ran over and choked him. This led to Lee and Dijakovic attacking them, and they picked right up from where they left off earlier in the evening.
After DiBiase gave Hogan a belly-to-back suplex, he went to the second rope and tried for a diving fist drop, but Hogan moved out of the way. He started to Hulk up and brought the fight to DiBiase. After an atomic drop a bodyslam and then a big boot, Hogan was ready to go for the running leg drop. When he turned to run to the ropes, JBL was standing on the ring apron, and he was egging him on. Hogan looked to the crowd to tell him what to do. He ran at JBL, who hopped down from the ring apron. JBL laughed at Hogan until he was cracked in the back with a steal chair by Eddie Guerrero!
Meanwhile, DiBiase snuck up from behind and put Hogan in the Million Dollar Dream. Hogan tried to fight it off, but he faded. The refereed raised his hand three times. It felt twice. The third time, it stayed up. He hulked up and out of the hold, driving his elbows into DiBiase’s back. He sent DiBiase from corner to corner and hit him with running clotheslines. He mounted the second rope and punched DiBiase ten times, then brought him out of the corner with an atomic drop. A big boot dropped him to the mat. A scoop up and bodyslam and then the running leg drop finished him off for good. (17:29)
Winners: Hulk Hogan
When it was all said and done, Hogan was the victor. However, his music was cut and replaced by Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9. WALTER emerges from the back and stook center stage on the entrance with his hands clasped behind his back. Hogan looked at him, pointed, and said he was ready for him at the Royal Rumble. Rick Derringer’s “Real American” began to play again and Hogan turned his attention to the fans, giving them a classic pose down, with WALTER looking on in disgust. These two have a date with destiny at the Royal Rumble on Sunday, January 31st!
