VIDEO RECAP INTRODUCTION
"FLASH TO LAST WEEK'S EPISODE OF 'ILPW ON FUJI TV' RECAP"
Bull Nakano stands victorious and cuts a scathing promo on Aja Kong, challenging her to a fight!
Kudo cuts an emotional promo on Combat Toyoda double crossing her to align with LCO, which LCO and Toyoda come out and challenge her to a match.
Mariko Yoshida uses a Yoshiko Tamura finisher to end her opponent and says she is prepared to embarrass her in a rematch.
The Crush Gals stop Mayumi Ozaki from cheating in her match alongside Devil Masami for the International Tag Team titles, allowing Meiko Satomura and Sonoko Kato to retain in their first defense.
Manami Toyota comes out to join Megumi Kudo to wrestle Akira Hokuto and Combat Toyoda, and after some brutal brawling involving chairs, Toyoda manages to get the pinfall over Kudo, ending with LCO and Toyoda posing over the fallen bodies of Toyota and Kudo, causing Toshiyo Yamada and Jaguar Yokota to come out and make the save to end the show.
We now get a few shots of the crowd before heading to the announcer's table, where our team of play-by-play announcer Noriko Hashi and color team of Jackie Sato and Dump Matsumoto sit in, preparing to break down the action of the night.
Hashi:
"Welcome wrestling fans! We are so glad you have joined us for another episode of ILPW on Fuji TV!"
Dump:
"I am so glad you all could see me!"
Sato:
"We are so blessed to have you..."
Hashi:
"That we are! Tonight, we will be seeing The Crush Gals taking on Shinobu Kandori and Yumiko Hotta in the main event!"
The crowd of girls scream in anticipation of seeing the Crush Gals! Noriko and Jackie are grinning as Dump exaggeratedly waves her arms and yells off mic for them to quiet down!
Hashi:
"And we will also have other great action, starting off with Aja Kong taking on the very tough Toshie Uematsu right now! Let's go to the ring!"
Aja Kong vs. Toshie Uematsu
Toshie rushes across the ring with a dropkick before the bell, knowing she is going to need every advantage she can take to try to win this match. Kong weathers an early barrage from Uematsu and manages to reverse a whip into a Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Kong delivers a Lariat and goes for a cover, but Toshie kicks out and heads out of the ring. Kong gives chase and grabs her by the hair, sending her into the guardrail and then lays into her with a big kick to the sternum. Kong sends Toshie back in and then turns to the fans, posing for them and getting them riled up behind her. Kong makes her way back in, but Toshie has regained some composure and lands a couple of kicks on Kong. Toshie then runs off the ropes and then tries for a Crossbody Block, but Kong catches her and delivers a Backbreaker! Kong then poses for the fans again as Toshie writhes in pain. Toshie gets back up and Kong grabs her and delivers a Backdrop Driver! Kong goes for the cover, but Toshie still kicks out. Kong has her by the hair, though, and pulls her up, obviously with a plan to end things. And then BOOM, Kong delivers the Spinning Backfist, sending Toshie's teeth somewhere into the third row, presumably, and it's all over. Kong gets the convincing win.
Winner by Pinfall: Aja Kong
Uematsu is very out of it, but seems upset as she is leaving. Kong mockingly waves "bye" to her and then grabs the microphone.
Aja:
"Yeah, you can go be mad Toshie, just like Bull. Bull, I'll admit it, you beat me back at 'Merciless', but look at me now. My hand is better, and I am better than ever, and you're still just a low down piece of trash that needs to get thrown out of this ring! And I am going to finish the job this time!"
We get a commercial package for The Crush Gals' new single, "My Heart for the Holiday", available now wherever you get your music!
Commando Bolshoi vs. Yushiko Tamura
Tamura was able to overcome some early takedowns from Bolshoi, who showed a lot of charisma and got the fans behind her, causing Tamura to go to the floor and rethink her strategy. Tamura rolls back in and takes a little more punishment, only to reverse a suplex attempt and deliver a German Suplex for a two count. Tamura is able to ground Bolshoi and stretch her, working her over with a Crab Hold, and then a Camel Clutch, before getting another two count on a roll-up. Bolshoi attempts to fight back with forearms, but Tamura shows her poise and takes her down with a Reverse STO, transitioned into Mariko Yoshida's Spider Twist, cranking it on to get a submission!
Winner by Submission: Yoshiko Tamura
Tamura is quick to pull her arm away from the referee, threatening her, before frantically grabbing the microphone, panting but intense about what she has to say.
Tamura:
"Once again, I show that anything Mariko Yoshida can do, I can do better! She vows to embarrass me, but I am going to silence her and humiliate her when I make her tap out!"
We go backstage, where we see interviewer Yuka Shiori standing in with Manami Toyota, Megumi Kudo, Jaguar Yokota and Toshiyo Yamada. Megumi looks to be visibly anxious here, somewhere between sorrowful and completely pissed off. Yokota and Yamada have a very intense glare, while Toyota has the air of confidence and humility that has always made her appealing.
Shiori:
"Ladies, you all have your troubles with LCO, while recently Combat Toyoda has found herself aligned with them. Last week, Toyoda proved to be very effective, pinning Kudome to win a tag match also involving yourself, Manami, and 'The Dangerous Queen' Akira Hokuto. You all have asked to appear here to address this matter. What would you like to say now?"
Toyota:
"First of all, let me say that everybody knows these ladies are talented. They won that match, and we have to accept that. However, we can all say that we do not respect their actions, their attitudes, or their heart. I know right now I hold the International title, and I am blessed to do that. I know any day, I might be on a bad night, and maybe I lose this belt. Or maybe one of these talented ladies are just better than me on that night, and I am no longer champion. Any one of the ladies I stand with here could hold this belt on any given night. Any one of those ladies, Hokuto, Toyoda, Mita... even Shimoda, which I hate to admit, could hold this title on any given day. They have all of the potential.
"But it is the attitude, the actions, their heart, Yuka, that I don't respect. It makes me wonder if they respect themselves for acting this way, and it is just unacceptable. Those of us who do have self respect, who do have honor, we have to stand up for what is right and continue to fight the good fight. Continue to fight for what is right in ILPW and society, and from where I stand, from where we are standing here today, LCO and Toyoda have chosen to appeal to everything that is wrong with the world today."
Kudo puts a hand on Toyota's shoulder and then it is clear she would like to speak.
Kudome:
"Toyoda, you've proven your point. You can pin me. I always knew you could, I always believed in you! But you couldn't believe in yourself! And now, you stand with these wretched women who look to destroy and degrade all that is good in the world! And now you are pushing me to destroy you, and I can only be pushed so far!"
Yokota grabs her by the shoulder now and puts her arm around her. Yokota takes over from here.
Jaguar:
"We have your back, Kudome. You have friends here who will fight with you. LCO, Yamada and I have already beaten you down, but apparently we have not humbled you. Next week, us four want a match with you four, and since you all love to fight so much, I'm sure you'll have no problem with it! We will see you there!"
Yamada then punches her hand into her palm for emphasis, and we head back to the ring.
Double Inoue: Kyoko Inoue & Takako Inoue vs. Revolucion Amandla: Kyoko Kimura & Tomoka Nakagawa
Kimura and Nakagawa would give the Inoues, of no relation to one another, a very tough time in the early going. Kyoko would be isolated and beaten down, before being choked on the ropes as these ladies posed with her, causing the fans to boo as the referee tried to stop Takako from getting in. Kyoko would show fire and make a comeback, hot tagging Takako, who showed her raging bitch mode and really let Kimura and Nakagawa have it. Takako would then get Nakagawa up into Tombstone position, allowing Kyoko to fly off the top and they deliver the Spike Tombstone Piledriver to get the pinfall.
Winners by Pinfall: Double Inoue
The Crush Gals: Chigusa Nagayo & Lioness Asuka vs. Shinobu Kandori & Yumiko Hotta
The Crush Gals were very fiery to start, as the crowd was super behind them and they gave them a high energy showing from the opening bell. Hotta would manage to catch Nagayo coming off the middle turnbuckle with a Dropkick reversal to a Double Axe Handle, and things slowed down, as Hotta and Kandori took over. Chigusa was being punished heavily here, and her facial expressions and vocalization would make seem as though she on the verge of grisly death. Chigusa would manage to escape Kandori's attempt at an Olympic Slam out of sheer desperation, trying for a School Girl roll-up that earned barely a one count. Chigusa would try to reach for Asuka, who is stretching from the apron with everything she has to get the tag as every girl in the stands chants, "CHI-GU-SA!" at the top of their lungs, but Kandori grabs her by the foot to stop her. Chigusa manages to turn and get up on her other foot and deliver an Enzuigiri, and the crowd explodes! Chigusa manages to do a dive forward, tagging in Asuka and the sound is deafening as Asuka rushes in and cuts off Hotta, who just got tagged from Kandori. Asuka sends a kick into Kandori, who is pulling herself up on the ropes, sending her tumbling to the outside, and then whips Hotta off of the ropes and delivers a High Roundhouse Kick, nearly knocking her out of her boots! Asuka hits a couple of Dropkicks and is all fired up, motioning for the fans to get behind her as she is calling for the end. Asuka grabs Hotta when all of the sudden DEVIL MASAMI AND MAYUMI OZAKI HIT THE RING, AND THEY ARE TRYING TO ENTER! The referee intercepts, and Chigusa begins fighting with them on the apron, throwing overhand shots at Ozaki and trying to jump over her to get a piece of Devil! Lioness as let go of Hotta and goes over to help Chigusa when Hotta regains her composure and Dropkicks Asuka from behind, sending her into Chigusa, knocking her from the apron! Asuka seems out of it and Hotta manages to roll her up with a Small Package! The referee is on it, and makes the three count! Hotta and Kandori get the win!
Winners by Pinfall: Shinobu Kandori & Yumiko Hotta
The fans are super mad and are screaming at Devil Masami and Mayumi Ozaki! Officials have come out to break up the scuffle on the outside, as they continue to fight with Chigusa. Lioness doesn't take much time to mourn the loss, as she knows her partner is in trouble, so she hurries outside to join the fray as the show goes off the air!
