CCW Superstar Saturday on SCA, episode 15
The camera pans the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, Alabama, and then comes upon the commentary team of Gorilla Monsoon and the Honky Tonk Man.
GM: Welcome once again to Continental Championship Wrestling’s Supsterstar Saturday here on Sports Channel America. I’m Gorilla Monsoon and this, as always, is the Honky Tonk Man.
HTM: We have a heck of a show planned today, Gorilla. We had several matches for Holiday Havoc set last week and I guarantee you, we’ll have some more set today.
GM: Our first match comes off of comments made last week by “The National Treasure” Nick Aldis on how he was offended that Kamille was pressed into serving as a bridesmaid for Missy Hyatt’s wedding with Austin Idol.
HTM: More important, Monsoon, that this wedding set for our New Year’s Eve super show will be taking valuable time away from other talent and real matches. And he’s right.

“The National Treasure” Nick Aldis with Kamille vs. “Wildfire” Tommy Rich with Missy Hyatt
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Hyatt tries to talk to Kamille on the floor, but she just stands on the floor with her arms crossed and staring straight ahead without saying a word. Aldis pokes his head through the ropes and tells Missy to leave Kamille alone. Rich grabs Nick from behind in a double chicken wing. He parades Aldis around the ring and then drops him into a facebuster. Rick hooks the arms again and rolls back while hooking the legs into a surfboard. Aldis screams for a bit before he can shift his weight and rock to the side for the break. Rich gets on him with an armbar. Aldis leans into him and breaks with a fireman’s carry takeover. Aldis segues into his own armbar on the mat. Rich powers up and slings Nick out of it into the near corner. He charges into an outstretched boot and turns around while bending over. Aldis comes off the second turnbuckle to grab a bulldog. He hits a butterfly suplex. He yells at Hyatt while pulling Rich up into another double hook and hits a facebuster, the Treasure Chest (think Pedigree).
Winner: Nick Aldis by pinfall
Aldis slides to the floor immediately and gets into Hyatt’s face. Kamille grabs her from behind and pushes Missy to her knees. Aldis gets into her face more. The crowd pops as Austin Idol runs out. He and Aldis brawl around the ringside area and to the back. Hyatt runs after them, but Hyatt just leisurely follows.
In the back, Andy Kaufman comes upon Edge talking on the phone. It appears that he’s talking to Christopher Daniels.
Edge: SCU starring the Rated Superstar is really going places. We won the six-man tag team titles on the debut episode of Wednesday Warfare. How can you beat that……Well, the royal ‘we.’ We’re all in this together……Look, I have to go. Andy Kaufman just came up……No, you’re thinking of Fred Travelena. This is the co-owner of CCW……Right, later, dude.
Edge puts his phone away.
AK: I noticed you’ve been having issues with Sting the past few weeks. He’s been a thorn in my side since coming to CCW. I can make a match between the two of you happen at Holiday Havoc. If you win that, I would be very grateful.
Edge looks confused and then shocked. He raises his fist to his mouth and pushes his tongue into his cheek giving the universal sign for blowjob.
AK: No, not like that. I mean there could be a title shot in your future.
Edge: Oh, sure, yeah, yeah. A title shot. It’s not like I needed more incentive to take out that bleached blonde surf punk, but you’ve got it, Andy.
They shake hands as we fade.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Chris Candido with Tammy Lynn Sytch
Referee: Joey Marella
“Macho Man” Randy Savage vs. Chris Candido with Tammy Lynn Sytch
Referee: Joey Marella
Lock up to start goes into a headlock for Candido. Savage shoves him out into the ropes and catches him coming off with a back elbow. Savage then drops an elbow and picks Chris up for a whip into the ropes. He ducks under a clothesline and comes back with a dropkick. Candido drops a fist, but Savage rolls out of the way. He tries again and again and again, but Savage keeps rolling until he goes to the floor. Chris is in the ring shaking his banged up hand. Sytch gets in Randy’s face. They argue. Candido comes to the apron and jumps off the apron with a double axe handle. He beats Savage down some more and then rolls him back into the ring. Chris with a slingshot splash for a two count. He picks Savage up and goes for a whip to the ropes, but Randy reverses into a short arm clothesline.
Savage mounts Chris and punches him on the mat. Tammy jumps up on the apron and Marella orders her off. Savage goes after her, but she drops to the floor. Candido tries a schoolboy rollup for a two count. Savage rolls to his feet and goes to the boxing punches. Candido does his own version of a Flair flop. Scoop slam and Savage goes up top. Tammy yells at him from the floor and he changes direction to land right in front of her. Chris tries coming off the apron again for a double axe handle, but Randy turns this time and catches him with a sledgehammer of a shot to the gut. Candido flips over and lands on the floor on his back. Savage uses the guardrail for a springboard double stomp to the gut. He throws Candido back into the ring. He climbs to the top from the outside and drops the big elbow.
Winner: Randy Savage by pinfall
Tammy sees to Candido in the ring while Savage goes to the commentary position. He points into the ring as he starts.
RS: Chris Candido, you better keep your dog on a leash before I have to put her down. But, we all know who the white elephant in the room is. Oh yeah, it’s Stunning Steve Austin. I’ve had him on a scaffold. I’ve had him in a cage. I’ve had him on a train. I’ve had him in the rain. I’ve given him nothing, but pain. Oh yeah! Now he wants the Macho Man straight up with no chaser at Holiday Havoc. No frills, only chills. Uh-huh. Be careful what you ask for Austin, because you will get it. I don’t need a gimmick to beat you. I just need these two fists and Macho Madness running rampant through the fans. I’ll see you at Holiday Havoc, uh-huh, and you’re not going to like your present.

GM: One half of our next contest is joining use here at the commentary position. It’s Four Horsemen members Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson of the Revival.
DW: The Four Horsemen won the WarGames Gauntlet and that means we get a title match of our choosing for Holiday Havoc. Now, most might think we’d want the Steiner Brothers and the Southeastern Tag Team Titles. But title belts are only as prestigious as the guys wearing them.
SD: The Midnight Rockers are everything wrong with wrestling today. They’re all flash and no substance. At least we can respect the Steiner Brothers for being traditional grapplers. Scott’s a little flippy, but he’s not a damn spot monkey like Michaels and Jannetty.
DW: At Holiday Havoc, Midnight Rockers, we’re going to show you the meaning of ground and pound.

The Butcher and the Blade with Woman vs. The Revival (Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson)
Referee: Joey Marella
Wilder and Blade start off and lockup. They go into a crisscross sequence that ends with Wilder getting a rising knee after a backdrop try. He follows with a swinging neckbreaker and tags Dawson. They double whip Blade into their corner. Wilder runs in with a knee lift and then Dawson follows with his own. Dawson monkey flips Blade clear across the ring. He comes up in his corner and Butcher makes the blind tag. Dawson has the look of a man who knows he messed up. Butcher charges, but Dawson goes to the mat for a drop toehold and Butcher slams his face into the second turnbuckle. Tag back to Wilder. They double whip Butcher into the ropes, but he comes off with a double clothesline to put both men down. He choke lifts Wilder and throws him in the corner. Avalanche. He brings Wilder out of the corner with a hip toss. Basement dropkick with Wilder sitting on the mat. Butcher stomps away and then tags Blade.
Blade immediately locks in a rear chinlock with a knee to the back. Dawson goes after Woman on the floor, drawing Butcher down. Marella tries to stop anything from happening out there. This allows Wilder to break the chinlock with a thumb to the eye. He rakes the back and follows with an inverted suplex. Butcher slides into the ring, but Marella stops him from interfering. Dawson comes in the other side and they hit a double team brainbuster behind the referee’s back. There’s a delay on the count because Butcher won’t back up and Blade manages to kick out. Tag to Dawson who comes in with a double axe handle from the top. He throws Blade into the ropes and catches him coming off with an arm across his chest for an uranage backbreaker. Dawson jaws at Butcher who tries to come in. Wilder runs and they work the double beat down. Dawson is confident as he stands over Blade, who hits a small package out of nowhere. Dawson fights out. He pops up into a clothesline. Pops up again into a superkick. Blade falls into his corner to tag Butcher. He’s a house of fire. Wilder runs in and is clotheslined for his trouble. Blade goes after him, but he pulls the top rope down and Blade spills to the floor. The Revival fight back on Butcher, nail a double goozle and finish with the Shatter Machine.
Winners: The Revival by pinfall of Dawson of Butcher

Brandi Rhodes is sitting at the Gorilla position flipping through the Montgomery Ward Wish Book. Super Patriot Mark III comes up.
SP: What are you doing?
BR: I’m taking a break before doing introductions for your coming match. I’m trying to find Kane something nice for Christmas to thank him for saving me from Big Show. There’s nowhere better to turn than the Montgomery Ward Christmas Wish Book. After all they are the officials sponsors of Holiday Havoc. What do you think he would like?
SP: A funeral pyre?
BR: I think that’s one of the few things not in here.
Sheamus then comes up and we can see Super Patriot’s eyes narrow through his mask.
SP: I know you were watching me last week from the entranceway.
Sheamus: If I didn’t want you to see, you wouldn’t have, fella. I’m always looking for competition and people are telling me you’re the next jabroni to beat.
SP: I think you’ll find I’m no jabroni, pal.
Sheamus: I’m not your pal, fella.
SP: I’m not your fella, buddy.
Sheamus: I’m not your bud…, look continue to impress me and maybe I’ll make you the next notch on my Gulf Cost Title Belt. There’s something familiar about you. I don’t have it worked out yet who you are, but I will…fella.
Brandi and Super Patriot walk out to the ring leaving Sheamus to watch from the back.
We go back to the commentary area.
GM: The main event of holiday havoc will feature Ric Flair vs. the MUW Men’s Champion. Who that might be at that time is a bit in question, but we know who has the belt right now. Samoa Joe and we go to a pre-taped interview from him now.
Samoa Joe is shown standing in front of a blank background. He’s in his wrestling gear with a towel around his neck.
SJ: I’ve got three big matches coming up against Harley Race, Barry Windham and Ric Flair. It looks like I’m doing the old folks home tour of MUW. Flair might want a devil he knows in Race or Windham, but he’s going to get the devil he doesn’t. My whole career I’ve been told, ‘hey, you got in the ring kid, but not outside it to be a total package and real world’s champion.’ I’ve been told I’m not flashy, charismatic and a great talker like Ric Flair. Well, I’ve always done my talking in the ring and we all know the old saying about how money talks and bullsh*t walks. Well, Samoa Joe is nothing but money in that ring and so guess what that makes you, Flair.
We fade out and go to the ring.

Malenko slides to the floor for a breather. Patriot follows him to the floor immediately. Kamille gets in his way and they have a stare down. Patriot gets back into the ring. Malenko catches him getting in with a rising knee lift. Dean follows with a crossarm neckbreaker. He lays in the stomps and then comes off the ropes with an elbow drop. He tries for the Texas Cloverleaf, but Patriot kicks him off. He pulls himself up by the ropes. Malenko charges and Patriot flips him over the top rope to the apron. Dean lands on his feet, but Patriot slingshots him back in. Jumping knee drop gets a two count. Patriot goes for the anklelock, but Malenko scurries for the ropes.
He pulls himself up as Patriot comes over. Patriot takes a back elbow to the mush. Malenko tries a springboard something off the second rope, but is caught around the waist and eats a belly to belly suplex. Whip to the ropes, but Malenko ducks a clothesline and hits a running neckbreaker as he goes by. He tries for the cloverleaf again, but Patriot grabs his head and rolls him into a small package for two. Patriot works Malenko over in the corner and then whips him to the opposite side. He charges, Malenko mule kicks over him and goes for an O’Connor role that gets two. Back up into a series of arm drags by the Patriot. Malenko backs into the near corner. Patriot follows, but takes a boot to the face. Malenko skips up to the second rope and comes off with a double axehandle. Patriot sidesteps while grabbing the leg and turns it into a flapjack. He holds onto the leg and transitions into an anklelock with grapevine on the mat. Malenko hangs on for more than a minute, but can’t reach the ropes and can’t break.
Winner: Super Patriot Mark III by submission
Sheamus nods his head slightly and does the finger gun point from the entrance stage at Patriot before going to the back.

GM: Our main event is ahead and it looks to be another dream match like only CCW can provide with our varied roster.
HTM: I’m looking forward to it, Gorilla, because Strike Force, who I’ve got no love lost for, is going to get their butts handed to them by the Good Brothers.
They come out with Kamille in tow.
KA: Earlier tonight, our stablemate in Strictly Business made it pretty clear that he wants Austin Idol at Holiday Havoc. And the Revival made it clear they want to cash in their title shot at Holiday Havoc against the Midnight Rockers for the CCW Gulf Cost Tag Team Titles.
LG: So, let us make it clear exactly what we want at Holiday Havoc. Missy Hyatt can lead the Steiner Brothers to the ring and we will pound them into the canvas to become the next Southeastern Tag Team Champions. Oh, what a rush!
KA: Uh…we don’t say that.
LG: Well, that’s the bottom line because…
KA: No, no, just stop. Let’s get to the ring.
