CCW Superstar Saturday on SCA, episode 10
The camera pans the Andy Kaufman Studios in Dothan, Alabama, and then comes upon the commentary team of Gorilla Monsoon and the Honky Tonk Man.
GM: Good morning ladies and gentlemen and all the ships at sea. We’re only a week out from Maximum Carnage, our next super show. And we’ll have a complete card for you at the end of the program.
HTM: Maximum Carnage, brought to you by Frank-N-Stuff Hotdogs. Stuffed with cheese or chili, they’re good either way.
GM: And we’re stuffed with action this week, so let’s get to the ring.
HTM: Nice transition, Monsoon.

The Fantastics (Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers) vs. Adrian Street and Don Muraco with Col. Robert Fuller
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Fulton and Street start. A crisscross sequence ends with Muraco hitting Fulton in the back with a knee from the apron. He’s warned by Edwards. Street takes advantage with a hammerlock slam and tags Muraco. Don works Fulton over with clubbing shots. He sets up the running power slam, but Bobby slips off the back and pushes Muraco into the face corner to post him. Tag to Rogers, who slingshots in with a clothesline. Tommy uses his speed to befuddle Muraco, but eventually runs into a clothesline. Muraco with a choke lift throw into his corner. Tag to Adrian. He hits the Street Sweeper (full nelson leg sweep), but Fulton breaks up the pin. Muraco comes in and we have a pier six brawl. Double dropkick sends Muraco to the floor. Double hiptoss on Street, double rolling necksnap. Rocket Launcher and Don is just a bit too late to break up the pin.
Winners: The Fantastics with a Rogers pinfall on Street
Sheamus is at the commentary position.
GM: Sheamus, two weeks ago you said you wanted bigger and better competition for the Gulf Coast Title. Last week, that challenge was answered by the Big Show as he jettisoned his manager, Col. Robert Parker.
Sheamus: Well, let me tell you an old adage Monsoon. The bigger they are the harder they fall. And has huge as Big Show is, he’s equally stupid and equally ugly. He’s done absolutely nothing here in CCW so far and the only reason I’m going to accept his challenge is so nobody can say I ever ducked a challenger, even one so inconsequential as the Big Show. I don’t care if you’re four-foot tall or seven-foot tall, one Brogue Kick and you’re on your back staring up at the lights like everybody else.

Eddie Gilbert is standing outside what looks like a castle with the drawbridge down. Thunder sounds and lightning strikes.
EG: Everybody knows I’ve got some seriously scary dudes in Hot Stuff Incorporated. And they have some seriously scary appetites as well.
Gilbert starts walking toward the castle and we cut to him approaching a big wooden table with fog all around it. Sitting at the table are Wrath, Mortis and Kane. EG: And that’s why I feed my guys Frank-N-Stuff Hotdogs from Hormel. They’re the official sponsors of Maximum Carnage. The show that will see me finally put away Austin Idol for good in a steel cage. Also, Wrath will be entering the Weapons Battle Royal for the new Wild Card Title with his Staff of Wrath and Mortis will have his good old Skull Cane.
Gilbert goes over to the table and all three men are chowing down on a huge plate of hotdogs each.
EG: Now, Wrath and Mortis will eat the cheese filled dogs, but Kane has to have that red, oozing chili. But, hey, they’re good either way.
Kane then gestures toward his plate and they all set on fire with a huge flame.EG: Oh yeah, Kane also likes his flame broiled and burnt to a crisp, just like the Ultimate Warrior will be after their Inferno Match at Maximum Carnage, brought to you by Frank-N-Stuff Hotdog from Hormel.
Gilbert then laugh manically as the scene fades.

vs.
Big Show vs. Vinnie Vegas
Referee: Joey Marella
Vegas gets in the down position and wants to amateur wrestle. Show is like WTF? Vegas gets up and says ‘just kidding.’ Andy Kaufman comes out and yells at Vegas to stop screwing around and get to work. Vinnie turns right into a straight right hand from Big Show. Choke Slam.
Winner: Big Show by pinfall
Andy Kaufman gets a microphone at ringside.
AK: That’s it. You’re done, Vinnie Vegas. You’re a disgrace to me. A disgrace to CCW. A disgrace to everyone in this building. And, most importantly, a disgrace to yourself. As of this moment, your contract is terminated and Vinnie Vegas will never be seen in Continental Championship Wrestling again!
Vegas is slowly coming around from the choke slam. He’s sitting on the canvas with his arms across his knees. He just kind of shrugs and continues to sit as we fade. Commercial

Six-Man Tag Team Title Match
Powers of Fear (Haku, Barbarian and Warlord) (c) vs. Missy’s Men (Austin Idol, Tommy Rich and Jimmy Snuka) with Missy Hyatt
Referee: Tommy Young
Referee: Tommy Young
Snuka and Barbarian start. Snuka tries to take the advantage with his speed, but Barbarian catches him on a crossbody and gives him a fallaway slam. The champs isolate and work over Snuka. Eddie Gilbert comes out and accosts Missy Hyatt. Idol drops to the floor and brawls off with Gilbert, leaving Rich and Snuka three on two. Snuka ducks a double clothesline try by the Powers of Pain and hits a double crossbody. Hot tag to Rich who is a house of fire. Haku comes in and nails Rich with a chop to the throat. Young warns Haku and while they argue, Barbarian decks Rich with a steel chain. Triple big boot.
Winners: Powers of Fear by pinfall of Barbarian on Rich

GM: As the chaos clears in the ring, we welcome Triple B and Woman out here to the studio. We know that Butcher and the Blade will face the Steiner Brothers in a tables match at Maximum Carnage, but tonight they duel with Ronnie Garvin and Ric Flair, who Dave Bautista will face at the super show for the Southeastern Heavyweight Title, but first he goes against Scott Steiner tonight.
DB: Gorilla, you might wonder why I would agree to put my title on the line so close to Maximum Carnage. A match that could throw everything into chaos if I lose it. But, I’m not losing it. I know it, you know it and, most importantly, Scott Steiner knows it. Every single week I’m sending Ric Flair a message that I’m a fighting champion, because I fear no man, because I am the man.
Woman: And, Dave, will do Butcher and Blade a favor by softening up Little Scott prior to the match at Maximum Carnage. Then Triple B will all have gold and he…or she…who has all the gold rules. That’s my golden rule and Triple B will cement their dominance here in CCW after Maximum Carnage on Oct. 4.

GM: During the break, we’ve been informed that participants from our last match have entered the Weapons Battle Royal at Maximum Carnage for the new Wild Card Title. Jimmy Snuka joins with a kendo stick and Tommy Rich with a barbed wire baseball bat.
HTM: And they’ll get their rears kicked by the Powers of Pain again, Monsoon. The Warlord is joining with a metal shield and Barbarian with a steel chain.
GM: And our next match will help set another big bout for Maximum Carnage as well. We know that Steve Austin and the Midnight Express will face Randy Savage and Strike Force, but will that be a scaffold match or something else.
HTM: I always knew Savage was crazy, but’s he’s down right insane if he actually wants to climb 30 feet above the ring and then come crashing down.
GM: It’s a match that Austin and the ME are familiar with and don’t want any part of. I can’t say that I blame them, but Austin will need to beat Martel for his team to control the stipulation. Let’s go to the ring.
vs.
“Stunning” Steve Austin vs. Rick Martel
Winner picks stipulation for a six-man tag at Maximum Carnage
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
Referee: Aubrey Edwards
No seconds are at ringside. Austin is wearing one of his old ring robes, has a scraggly beard and his hair back. He’s announced as “Stunning” Steve Austin.
Lockup to start. Austin comes out of it with a hammerlock, Martel reverses to his own, Austin drops to his knees and flips Martel over to break. Up into another lockup. Martel gets a rear waistlock, Austin reverses to his own and heel trips Martel to ride him on the mat. Rick works up and goes to the ropes with Austin still hanging on. Martel bucks Austin off while holding the top rope. Steve rolls to his feet and charges. Martel pulls the top rope down and Austin flies to the floor. Austin gets up, hears the crowd noise and turns to find Martel flying off the apron with a crossbody that hits. Rick pulls Austin up and goes for a whip, but Steve reverse and Rick gets posted. Austin follows with a running knee to the back.
Austin gets back into the ring, happy with the count out win. Martel makes it back in at six. Austin goes to meet him, but Rick explodes up with a series of European uppercuts to stun Austin. Into the ropes, Martel telegraphs a backdrop and Austin gets a sunset flip. Martel reverses it and they go rolling around the ring. They break off and Austin rolls to the floor. Martel tries to come off with a crossbody from the apron again, but Austin was expecting it and moves, allowing Rick to crash into the ring steps. Austin rolls back in for the count out. Martel comes back in at nine.
Austin sends clubbing blows to Rick’s back, then throws him into the ropes. A second Stun Gun and Martel kicks out again. Steve goes for a springboard bulldog, but Martel catches him and gives him an atomic throw. Austin lands hard on his tailbone. Martel starts working the lower back and gets the Boston Crab. Steve makes the ropes to break. Martel with a butterfly suplex and he goes up top. A splash hits knees. Austin gets an atomic drop and short arm clothesline. He goes up top, but the bad back slows him up and Martel catches him up top. They slug it out. Rick tries a superplex, but Austin shoves Martel off. Top rope fist drop misses. Martel goes back to the Boston Crab. While Edwards is checking on Austin, he grabs her in pain and winds up pulling her shirt up over her head. Martel breaks loose to see what’s going on, allowing Austin to nail Rick in the groin. Stunner, but Edwards is still trying to fix her shirt. She finally recovers, but it’s only a two count. Austin argues the count and Martel schoolboys him from behind for the victory.
Winner: Rick Martel by pinfall
Martel immediately slides to the floor and celebrates with the fans. A surprised Austin argues with Edwards. Monsoon mentions this means the six man tag at Maximum Carnage will be a scaffold match.
Ronnie Garvin and Ric Flair are shown in a locker room, lacing up their boots and taping their wrists for the coming match.
RF: This isn’t easy for me to say, Ronnie, but I appreciate you standing with me against Triple B when nobody else will.
RG: You’ve burned a lot of bridges over the years, Ric. Lord know, you’ve whipped my ass and cheated me about as much as anybody. But, I’ve always prided myself on one thing. Ronnie Garvin is loyal to a fault. I said I’ll stand by you and I will, but only until this is over. I expect to come out of Maximum Carnage as the Wild Card Champion, but I also expect you to come out of the super show as Southeastern Heavyweight Champion. You let me have the first crack at that belt after you claim it, and we’ll see who the man really is.
RF: I owe you that. And I don’t mind that you’re here now because it’s a means to an end, hell I’ve done that many times myself. But, for this next match, you’re privileged to have the dirtiest player in the game on your side. Woo!
Garvin and Flair then do the macho handshake from Predator.

Ric Flair and Ronnie Garvin vs. The Butcher and the Blade with Woman
Referee: Joey Marella
Garvin starts out with Butcher and a test of strength. Butcher wins at first, but Garvin starts to come back, so Butcher kicks him in the gut. Garvin goes down to one knee and Butcher follows with a running big boot off the ropes. He whips Garvin into his corner and charges in with an avalanche. He works several shoulder thrusts to the gut and tags Blade. Blade slingshots into the ring while grabbing Garvin’s head for a bulldog. Blade locks in a camel clutch, but Ronnie powers up and drops backwards to slam Blade on the mat. Garvin comes up with a knee bar and works it on the mat. Blade reach out and rakes at Garvin’s face from behind. Ronnie gets up while still holding the leg and drags Blade to his corner to tag Flair.
Flair comes in, drapes the leg on the bottom rope and stomps it. Ric works the leg of Blade. Kneebreaker leads to the figure four. Butcher enters the ring and Garvin charges, leaping over Flair and Blade on the mat, with a Superman punch. Marella tries to control them, allowing Woman to smash Flair with her high heeled shoe. Blade rolls the figure four leglock over. Marella thinks Ric has passed out and is ready to call for the bell, but he comes around and crawls for the ropes to break. Blade refuses. Garvin tries to come in again, but Butcher takes him out again this time with a clothesline. He then tosses Marella aside and stomps Flair on the mat while Blade continues to work the reversed figure four. Garvin pulls the brass knuckles out of his trunks he’s going to use in the Weapons Battle Royal. He decks Butcher. He decks Blade. Woman pulls them to the floor. Ronnie checks on Marella who calls for the bell.
Winners: Ric Flair and Ronnie Garvin by disqualification
Andy Kaufman is out at the commentary position with Big Bubba Rogers and Yokozuna behind him.
GM: Andy Kaufman, earlier tonight we saw you fire Vinnie Vegas…
AK: I don’t want to talk about that right now, Monsoon. Vinnie Vegas no longer exists and he’s not worth my time. I’m out here to address the thorn in my side, the bane of my existence, the fly in my ointment – Sting. Now, I’m told Sting isn’t here in studio today because he wasn’t booked and he’s out playing volleyball on a beach with a bunch of kids or some stupid crap. Well, Sting hear this. I’ve got two men I can trust still under my tutelage in Yokozuna and Big Bubba Rogers. You will face both of them at Maximum Carnage. I’ll let you find a tag team partner, but everyone here in CCW is smart enough to know throwing in with you isn’t good for their careers. So, bring a partner if you can find one or face these two behemoths alone.

CCW Southeastern Heavyweight Title Match
Dave Bautista (c) with Woman vs. Scott Steiner with Missy Hyatt
Referee: Tommy Young
Referee: Tommy Young
Steiner confers with Hyatt as the bell sounds and Bautista attacks him from behind with a running clothesline. He beats Steiner down in the corner. He whips him to the far corner, charges in with another clothesline and then brings him out with a short-arm clotheslines. He drops a knee and covers for two. Bautista whips Scott so hard into the near corner he pops out and stumbles back to the center of the ring. He does the same thing to the other three corners and on the last stumble out, Dave grabs him for a twisting spinebuster. It gets a two count. He pulls Scott up and whips him into the near corner again, this time he goes for the spear, but Steiner moves and Bautista posts himself. Steiner takes over and works the shoulder. A shoulderbreaker gets a two count. A double arm DDT gets two. A modified leg-trap bulldog focused on the shoulder gets a two count. Bautista blocks the Frankenstiner and turns it into the Bautista Bomb.
Winner: Dave Bautista by pinfall
Rick and Missy get in the ring after to check on Scott. Bautista rolls to the floor and gets the title belt. Woman holds his hand up in victory while Butcher and Blade scour at their foes in the ring. We fade.
