Psicosis vs. Matt Taven
Winner Advances to the Pure Championship Gauntlet at SuperCard II
Psicosis is making his RoH debut tonight with an opportunity to qualify for the Pure Championship match against Matt Taven, who had been absent from RoH TV for quite some time. Both men work a great technical match that has a number of impressive spots as these two both move like experienced cruiserweights in the ring. Psicosis has the speed advantage in this match and uses it multiple timse to frustrate Taven, catching him off guard many time throughout the match. In the end, it is Taven’s time to shine as Psicosis eats an elbow to the face when charging at Taven who was in the corner. Seeing Psicosis staggered, Taven launches forward and quickly nails the Climax for the victory.
Winner: Matt Taven by pinfall @ 12:47.

We head backstage to a pre-recorded video of Brian Kendrick explaining his decision to help Austin Aries last week against Eddie Edwards. Kendrick says the when Aries hit him with the Brainbuster on those steel steps back in February, he thought his wrestling career was over. After being rushed to the hospital to undergo emergency medical procedures that would ease the pressure on his neck from the impact, Kendrick begin to hear voices in his head. These voices weren’t only telling him to forgive Austin Aries, but to thank him for finally setting the voices free. Kendrick says for years he has held back who is truly is, supressing his sinister desires to hurt and maim his opponents in order to keep his job safe and his career intact, but now he can no longer hold back as the voices in his head have taken over. Kendrick explains that once the doctors started forcing him to see a shrink while recovering in the hospital he realized he never should have suppressed his feelings from the beginning, which is why he decided to escape from Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Kendrick says he laid low for a while until his urges became too strong which is when he knew he needed to come back before he hurt someone innocent, and last week he saw his opportunity.
The camera pans over to see Austin Aries has been sitting beside Kendrick the entire time with a giant smile on his face. Aries thanks Kendrick for helping him last week, before telling Eddie Edwards that he heard Edwards was trying to get another match with Aries, so he spoke to GM Jeff Jarrett on his behalf. Aries says next week, Edwards will take on Brian Kendrick and if he can beat him, he’ll get another shot at Aries at SuperCard II. Aries suggests Edwards make a friend backstage before next week as he promises that he’ll be in Kendrick corner.

We head over to the office of Ring of Honor General Manager Jeff Jarrett, and Double J is not looking to happy. Moments later there is a knock on the door which is answered by and irritated “Come In!” by the GM. The camera pans over to see a straight faced Ken Kennedy walk in to the office of Jarrett who immediately becomes irate.
Jarrett tells Kennedy that after the stunt he pulled last week, he’s lucky that Jarrett doesn’t fire him! Jarrett yells that he was ready to have Kennedy arrested and have his contract with RoH terminated on the spot, but he has Kurt Angle to thank for saving his job because Angle didn’t want to pass on the opportunity to get his hand around Kennedy’s neck. Kennedy just smirks, unfazed by his boss’ anger towards him and simply asks if he’s free to leave. Holding back from striking him, Jarrett needs to take a step back before telling Kennedy that he is not only free to leave, but he’s suspended until SuperCard II! Double J tells Kennedy to get the hell out of his office and the hell out of the arena, before stating that if he sees him anywhere near his home or his family again, he’ll end his career himself! Kennedy walks out of screen still smiling as Jarrett tries to calm himself down. Sensing there is still a presence in his office, Jarrett turns back around and yells “I told you to get….” But as he turns he sees it is not Kennedy standing in his office, it’s Elias!
Elias tells Jarrett that he’s not sure if he cares, but Elias is sorry about what he and Angle must have went through last week, before telling Jarrett he’s a better man then him as Elias would have already killed Kennedy if he was in his position. Not pleased with seeing his old rival back in RoH, Jarrett tells Elias he doesn’t have time for him at the moment, but Elias says he just wanted to take a moment to make amends with Jarrett. Elias says he’d like to try and get on better terms with Jarrett since he will be working for him again, and would like the leave the past in the past. Jarrett takes a moment before telling Elias that he’s willing to forgive and forget as he clearly has more important things on his plate at the present time. Seeing his moment, Elias asks Jarrett for an opportunity to get in to the gauntlet match at SuperCard II, and Jarrett tells him sure. Jarrett says that since Lashley went in to business for himself last week and cost himself a spot in the gauntlet, he’s going to add a 7th man to the match now that both Best Friends have won themselves a spot each. Jarrett tells Elias to head down to the ring as his qualifying match is next. Elias thanks Jarrett as walks off as we head to our first commercial break of the evening.

Match #2: Singles Match
Elias vs. Killian Dain
Winner Advances to the Pure Championship Gauntlet at SuperCard II
Elias’ opponent is not an easy one as “The Belfast Brawler” Killian Dain makes his way out to the ring and he’s fired up. This is Dain’s first RoH appearance since Sanity disbanded off air and Eric Young transferred over to the Canadian brand. Dain brings the fight to Elias as the much bigger man is able to inflict some real punishment on his opponent, but Elias is able to get in some offense of his own in this one as well. The bout goes just over the 13 minute mark as both men really bring the hurt down on each other, but it’s Elias who manages to grab the victory after hitting Dain with the Drift Away and covering him for the pinfall victory.
Winner: Elias by pinfall @ 13:11.
Elias is celebrating his victory and is heard yelling in to the camera that he’s going to be the First RoH Pure Champion, when the music of RoH General Manager Jeff Jarrett begins to play from the arena speakers.
Jarrett comes out and congratulated Elias on an impressive victory over someone as big and strong as Killian Dain, but then tells Elias he’s got some bad news for him. Jarrett explains that Killian Dain was not the opponent scheduled to face Elias, and says he didn’t even know Dain was in the building tonight. Jarrett apologizes for the miscommunication as Elias looks on in both shock and exhaustion. Double J tell Elias that as a man of his word, Elias will qualify for the Pure Championship match at SuperCard II. That is, if he can’t beat the opponent he was actually scheduled to face tonight…
The music of Rhyno blares through the speakers as out comes the “Man Beast” making his official RoH debut. Elias look exhausted and utterly defeated as Rhyno comes charging in the ring, and the referee reluctantly rings the bell to start the match.
Match #3: Singles Match
Elias vs. Rhyno
Winner Advances to the Pure Championship Gauntlet at SuperCard II
Elias tries to attack Rhyno as he slides in to the ring, but after a grueling battle with Killian Dain, he doesn’t have much left in the tank and is easily put away after Rhyno level him with a Gore for the 3-count victory!
Winner: Rhyno by pinfall @ 2:15.

We head backstage to a pre-recorded interview with Bobby Lashley. Lashley is pissed about Big Show getting involved in his match last week and costing him an opportunity at a RoH Championship at SuperCard II. Lashley accuses Big Show of not being able to let go of the past and mentions his attack on Big Show was more than 6 months ago, yet here we are fighting the same battle. Lashley says that he’s had enough and challenges Big Show to a match at SuperCard II to put an end to this feud once and for all so that both men can go off and focus on better things, to which Lashley explains for him means finally getting a shot at the RoH World Heavyweight Championship which was promised to him at Best in the World. Lashley tells Big Show he has until next week to respond to his challenge, before getting up and walking out of view of the camera.

We see a graphic on screen that announces Ring of Honor Owner Eric Bischoff will be live on the show next week to make an announcement regarding the status of the Ring of Honor Tag Team Championships!
*****
As the graphic fades from the screen we are welcomed to the Ted Reeve Arena in Toronto, Ontario Canada for the second half of tonight’s broadcast. Mauro Ranallo welcomes us back as he is joined by his colour commentary partner Christian for the final 2 matches of the night. Christian hypes the Main Event which will see Kenny Omega take on Michael Elgin! We then quickly head to ringside for some tag team action!

Match #4: Tag Team Match
Petey Williams & Eric Young vs. The North
The North are in tag team action for a 3rd consecutive week as they take on the makeshift team of Petey Williams and Eric Young. The broadcast team does a great job before the bell of reminding fans that Williams and Young teamed together many years ago as “Team Canada” before wondering if this could be the start of a reformation of that team? If it indeed is the start of a newly reformed Team Canada, things didn’t start off well for the team of Williams and Young as they were carefully and meticulously picked apart by The North, who wasted no time in picking up yet another victory here in Ring of Honor after pinning Petey Williams following a Northern Assault just shy of the 8-minute mark.
Winners: The North by pinfall @ 7:47.
Ethan Page grabs the microphone following their easy victory and begins to address RoH Owner Eric Bischoff and General Manager Jeff Jarrett. Page says a little birdy told him that the RoH Tag Team Championships will officially become vacant next week, and they want to make Bischoff’s decision a little easier for him. Pages officially declares The North the new Ring of Honor Tag Team Champions, and invited Eric Bischoff to come to Toronto next week to officially hand them the RoH Championship belts as they have already proven to be the greatest tag team this company has ever seen.
Before Page can say anymore, the music of current/former? RoH Tag Team Champion, Michael Elgin blares through the speakers and out he comes, heading towards the ring at a relatively quick pace. Not wanting to risk getting in the way of Elgin’s new “Path of Destruction”, both Page and Alexander quickly exit the ring as Elgin slides in and head to the back, avoiding a possible confrontation. Elgin paces around the ring with a snarl on his face as we head to our final commercial break of the evening.

Main Event: Singles Match
Kenny Omega vs. Michael Elgin
A PPV Main Event that we are getting here for free on RoH Wrestling! Omega and Elgin start the match off slow, feeling each other out as the contest begins. Elgin manages to take control of the match first as he overpowers Omega and begins to try and wear him down, working his back and neck. Omega manages to gain some momentum on Elgin as he fights back, backing Elgin away in defense, and allowing Omega to use some of his speed to open up the match to his advantage, but that is short lived as Omega eats a massive elbow from Elgin, that flattens him to the mat!
Elgin covers Omega, but only manages to get a 2-count as Kenny is able to get his shoulder up before the 3! Elgin continues to punish Omega who is not looking like his usual self in this match, causing the commentary team to question if he had greatly underestimated his opponent coming in to this match. Elgin grabs Omega by the hair to pull him up to his feet, but Omega grabs and leg and rolls Elgin up, only getting a 2-count! Elgin is quick to roll back up to his feet, but Omega is quicker and lands a beautifully timed Superkick that staggers Elgin! Seeing an opportunity, Omega moved forward and lands the V-Trigger on Elgin!
Omega covers Elgin as Mauro Ranallo can be heard emphatically counting along with the referee, but Michael Elgin manages to get his shoulder up at the very last second! Shocked, but not discouraged, Omega continues to work on his opponent as he is now firmly in control of the match. Seeing another opportunity to put him away, Omega goes for the One-Winged Angel on Elgin, but due to the damage suffered to his back is unable to lift his opponent, which allows Elgin to find a way to get back in to control of this match. With Elgin now back in control, Christian comments on how the crowd would be on their feet for this one, if there was a crowd in the arena. Elgin sets up for an Elgin Bomb, but Omega manages to slip behind him and land a hard knee to the gut of Elgin. Kenny tries once again for the One-Winged Angel, and this time succeeds, planting Elgin to the mat hard!
Omega covers Elgin as the referee begins his count, but Elgin once again manages to get a shoulder up just before the referee can count to 3! Omega can’t believe it and frustration is clearly beginning to settle in now as he takes a moment to argue the referee’s count. This minor lapse of judgement for Omega would ultimately prove to be his downfall in this match as the time spent foolishly arguing with the referee allowed Elgin to slowly get back to his feet. Elgin rushes over to Omega and grabs him, planting him hard on the mat with a German Suplex. Rushing back over to Omega, Elgin picks him up again, but Omega manages to take control of the hold and goes for a second V-Trigger on Elgin. This time though, Elgin sidesteps the knee and catches Omega with a kick to the stomach before grabbing him and slamming him down on the mat him with an Elgin Bomb! Elgin covers Omega as the referee counts the 3, giving Michael Elgin a huge victory!
Winner: Michael Elgin by pinfall @ 21:23.
Michael Elgin celebrate his hard fought victory over Kenny Omega as Mauro Ranallo and Christian hype next week’s episode of RoH Wrestling as the final episode before SuperCard II. We slowly fade off the air as another episode of RoH Wrestling comes to a close.
